* AlternateCharacterInterpretation:
** Of Aimee and Doyle's old high school. It's implied Aimee was outcast because she was smart. Considering how she acts a lot of the time, though, maybe they just disliked her because she's, well, [[{{Tsundere}} kind of a bitch]]. She only gets bitchy after Doyle has...well, ''really'' brought it on himself. But even so.
** Another interpretation is that Aimee wasn't used to the attention she was now getting so maybe some of it went to her head. It's also likely Aimee developed a bitchier side specifically ''after'' everyone treated her like crap at her old school. Now that she's in an environment where she's not picked on, Aimee's determined to not be treated the way she was before.
* SugarWiki/AwesomeArt: The cartoon has ''gorgeous'' animation.
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISdr6wf68Kk theme song]].
* CultClassic
* HilariousInHindsight: The brain wave vials resemble Splicer tonics from ''VideoGame/{{Bioshock}}''.
* JustHereForGodzilla: There are viewers who watched this just because TMS animated it.
* NightmareFuel: Most of "Martian Mumps". Seriously... how would ''you'' feel if a plague had robbed nearly all of your friends of their emotions? And on top of that, you have to deal with a smug, inflexible and obsessively anti-Martian militant captain trying to "help" without anyone asking for his help...However, this is reduced when keeping in mind that the only ones immune to the Martian Mumps are earthlings (Aimee and Doyle) and citizens of planet Frostor (Professor Icenstein).
* RetroactiveRecognition: Anyone who watches this now will recognize Flatt Freddy being voiced by Creator/NancyCartwright.
