* BrokenBase: Happened after revolutionary season 3, mostly because of [[spoiler: the deaths of the OfficialCouple D'jok/Mei with Sinedd's CharacterDevelopment.]]
* CompleteMonster: Bleylock is a General of Technoid who desires to rule the galaxy. Fifteen years before the series's events, Bleylock launched an attack on Clamp and Sonny Blackbones when they try to dispose the Metaflux, once the latter realize the danger of it. After Bleylock saw the Snow Kids using the Flux against the Red Tigers, Bleylock later tracks down and abducts Clamp and forces him to gather Metaflux by injecting a microphone and deadly poison inside his body. When the Pirates managed to save Clamp and retrieve the Metaflux, Bleylock kidnaps D'Jok and wants Sonny to hand over Metaflux IHaveYourWife in exchange for his son's safety. Bleylock later imprisons Sonny and threatens D'Jok to kill his father unless he makes the Snow Kids lose the finals. When the Pirates with the Technoids' help go after Bleylock and rescue Sonny, Bleylock attempts to kill Sonny and shoots his right-hand Baldwin after he was forced to reveal Bleylock's plans. Years later, Bleylock, with help of his subordinates, creates a "Netherball" sphere which absorbs the fluxes of many football players, creating The Multiflux. When the Pirates find that Bleylock is still alive and manage to get close to him, Bleylock then launches the Multiflux at the Shadow Archipelago, destroying Smog. Bleylock then frames Sonny by dropping wrecked parts of his ship. Chased by Sonny and Corso, Bleylock attempts to destroy Genesis with the Multiflux.
* DracoInLeatherPants: Sinedd.
* EnsembleDarkhorse: Bennett.
* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments: After winning the GFC for the third time the entire team holds the cup together.
** Also, when Keira comforts Tia in season 2.
* HoYay: Most of the male cast, but most obviously Artegor and Aarch. They ran off to 'play for the other team' together and when Aarch went back to his own team Artegor never forgave him. He once greeted Aarch by saying "can't live another moment without me?"
* NightmareFuel: The effects of using the Smog which is basically a metaphor for drugs. [[spoiler: And the series' ending as well, where D'Jok, Mei and the Galactik Kids die by turning into cosmic energy that disappears to the space.]]
* ReplacementScrappy: Yuki gets this treatment in-series to a degree. Especially egrogious since Yuki is actually a stronger goalie in her early games than Ahito ever was early on. Ahito, during the first 3 matches only saved two shots- and one of them was scored at the rebound, the other he didn't even manage to really stop, so Thran had to save it. For comparison, he let 10 goals in.
* TheScrappy: Mark is unloved by the fandom.
* SoBadItsGood: The production values, particularly the conventionally animated parts of the first season, which contained a comical amount of continuity errors.
** Watch it in the original French language though. The voice acting and script is much better. Especialy condsidering that the cast don't attempt American accents like the (Irish) English dub cast do.
** The voice acting is pretty good in Dutch as well. It's just that the English dub is horrific.
* TheWoobie: Poor, poor Sinedd. His status as a SmugSnake and minor antagonist cannot be generating enough bad karma to account for all the crap that happens to him. For example: [[spoiler: He's a war orphan whose planet was struck by an ice age right after his birth. He was recruited to the Shadows by Artegor as a way of getting back at Aarch, where he absorbed the Smog, which is addictive and and has caused him to collapse screaming on multiple occasions. He narrowly avoided accidentally causing intergalactic war, he got beat up by former goodytwoshoes Rocket, his team was humiliatingly defeated in the GFC only to be brought back so they could be humiliatingly defeated again, and when he lost his Smog no one even picked up the phone to see if he was dead, while his former team-mates fussed over Artegor.]] Also in Season 3
** That time he
** More likely a JerkassWoobie considering he's also a JerkAss (duh) mixed with a fine dose of TroubledButCute. Despite being the most unlucky character in the series, he never complains or whines about it, which makes him a StoicWoobie. Not to mention a IronWoobie, especially in season 2.
