* AccidentalAesop: ''Crusading for a Turnabout'' has one about why it's important for one to have an education, namely to teach someone how to be more empathetic and to not have their head in the clouds all the time. [[spoiler:Had Turning Page fully absorbed this lesson and understood that there were benefits to going to school, he wouldn't have lashed out at his father and killed him. The irony of it is that his punishment is him going to a military academy, so that he can have the discipline to understand right from wrong and to not be impatient.]]
** If someone says you can't have anything, accept it and move on. [[spoiler:Had Diamond Tiara just accepted that she wasn't getting that shiny fabric from the Cutie Mark Crusaders no matter how many times she told her that it wasn't hers, she wouldn't have caused the events that led to Turning Page accidentally killing his dad.]]
* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: Did Turning Page [[spoiler:mean it when he said that he had no romantic feelings for Scootaloo or was he [[BreakHerHeartToSaveHer just saying that to spare her feelings and to prevent her for pining after him for all the (presumable) years that they would be separated for?]]]]
* ArchiveBinge: As of January 2024, only two cases, across a total of twelve episodes (not counting Bonds of Justice content), have been released, with still more in the works. Those first two cases alone, however, still add up to a total '''22 hours''' of runtime. Meaning that catching up on the series will require the viewer to set aside almost an entire day. And again, the series isn't even ''finished'' yet.
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: ''WebAnimation/TurnaboutStorm'' already has a fair number of pretty amazing original songs and they’ve received some excellent remixes for ''Elements of Justice'' along with some new unique themes that have been created for the series. take a listen yourself [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=am8XucdLuZs here for the remixes]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=892zxSxL0oM here for the case 2 soundtrack]]
* CatharsisFactor:
** After seeing him act like an insufferable smug and cruel HateSink, it’s satisfying to see Blueblood taken down a notch whenever Phoenix turns the case around in his favour. The Judge even calls out Blueblood for accusing Phoenix of false evidence.
*** Even if she is only marginally better, it’s fun to see Suri mock Blueblood with zero respect.
*** It gets even better when during "Turnabout Discharge" we hear Blueblood being scolded by Fated Pursuit and we learn that he had lost his position as a prosecutor and is under investigation for his "methods".
** [[spoiler:Suri]]'s VillainousBreakdown when it seems that she is the culprit, especially since her loss in an episode after being a manipulative lying cheat was [[OffscreenKarma off-screen]]. [[spoiler:Though she turns out to be innocent of the actual murder.]]
** Throughout ''Crusading for a Turnabout'', Guard #2 has been acting more of an ass with each appearance. So it's nice that Twilight tells him to release Apple Bloom, who is rushing to the Detention Center to warn of a crisis, through her authority as a princess.
* HilariousInHindsight: Suri's [[BigWordShout "Shut Up!"]] becomes this when one remembers that a few years following the release of Case 1 VisualNovel/TheGreatAceAttorney was released in the United States, in which one of the characters gets a similar personal speech bubble.
* JerksAreWorseThanVillains: ''Crusading for a Turnabout'' reveals [[spoiler: that Turning Page was an innocent child who accidentally killed his father, and his mother was doing all she can to make it look like an accident. While the two are shown as sympathetic, almost no one finds any empathy for Guard #2/"Ash Tray" for being apathetic over Scootaloo being arrested, nor is there any love for Diamond Tiara for her petty and spiteful blackmail attempt of taking away Scootaloo's scooter that has sentimental value to her for a roll of fabric.]]
* MemeticMutation:
** "Cakewalk February 11, 2:30 PM" [[labelnote:Explanation]]The first part of ''Elements of Justice'' featured a typo referring to the Catwalk as the "Cakewalk". It was an oversight, but his discord server kept creating memes and jokes about it. It's even referenced in the April Fools video of that year and again in episodes 2-3 by Widget.[[/labelnote]]
** "WE ARE ABOUT TO END THIS PIXIE'S WHOLE CAREER!" [[labelnote:Explanation]]Case 2's prosecutor is Princess Luna, known for her [[PowerEchoes Royal Canterlot Voice]] and RoyalWe, and she repeatedly humiliates Athena and calls her "Golden Pixie" in their first encounter. Naturally, some fans couldn't resist.[[/labelnote]]
* {{Moe}}: Coco Pommel becomes even more so than in canon, due to her innocence being falsely accused yet still remaining meek and kind, [[spoiler:even to her former BadBoss]]. Also happens InUniverse:
-->'''Judge:''' Well don't just stand there looking adorable! Please tell the court what you mean!
* PortmanteauCoupleName: "Turnaloo" or "Scootapage" for [[ToyShip Scootaloo x Turning Page]].
* ShockingMoments:
** The end of ''Crusading for a Turnabout's'' first trial. Good news? Scootaloo is innocent. Bad news? [[spoiler:''Sweetie Belle'''s blood was found at the crime scene.]]
** During the second trial of the above installment, [[spoiler:the reveal that the seemingly cavalier Private Eye [[DirtyCop fabricated evidence]], seemingly under [[TheChessmaster Fair Devotion's]] orders, in order to give Sugar Stamp's questionable-at-best confession credence, along with Private's admitting to the act]].
** The third trial of that case, however, brings two extremely shocking reveals that put both of the above to shame. First, it's revealed that [[spoiler:the one who sent the anonymous tip implicating Turning Page was none other than ''Sweetie Belle'', having done so to get Scootaloo off the hook even if it meant implicating the colt Scootaloo likes in her place]], and then [[spoiler:Athena reasons out that Turning Page, whom she previously got acquitted, really ''is'' the killer of his own father after all]], and reveals this fact to the court, causing ''Prosecutor Luna'' to suffer a HeroicBSOD!
** Case 2 ends with Lawkeeper Equity showing up to inform everyone that [[spoiler: Overall Concept's death WAS a murder and that Rarity is the prime suspect]].
* SalvagedStory: A brief instance: for those who found Trixie from ''WebAnimation/TurnaboutStorm'' to be UnintentionallyUnsympathetic for being [[SmugSnake arrogant]], [[{{Jerkass}} condescending]], and [[NeverMyFault unapologetic for her actions]], this series reveals that the events of [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS3E5MagicDuel "Magic Duel"]] still occurred, wherein Trixie once again returns for revenge but is outwitted by Twilight and company, and apologizes in the end. Phoenix is surprised that Trixie actually apologized.
* ToyShip: Scootaloo x Turning Page seems to be gaining traction, due to Scootaloo's admiration of Turning for his confident and courageous nature and how devoted Turning is to helping prove Scootaloo is innocent of his father's murder, even being willing to smack a member of the Royal Guard with his wooden sword when they arrest her, and later [[spoiler:[[TakingTheHeat take the heat]] for her if Athena can't prove that they're both innocent.]] They also get a moment of ShipTease when Apple Bloom mentions in a sly manner how they "really hit it off" when he and the CMC ate lunch together at a restaurant, to which Scootaloo embarrassedly tells her to shut up, and in response, Athena thinks to herself that Scootaloo trying to hide "it" only makes "it" more obvious.
** As of Case 2's conclusion, [[spoiler:a relationship between Scootaloo and Turning Page is still possible in the future, but it will be more difficult, as Turning Page turns out to be the culprit, and will be going to a MilitarySchool to learn discipline before he can become a royal guard]]. The ''Bonds of Justice'' episode "On Valiant Wings" [[spoiler:has Turning confirm that he does not reciprocate Scootaloo's crush on him, but since both of them are still just foals, that could easily change as they grow older.]]
* TheWoobie: Coco Pommel, even more so than in canon. Not only is she wrongly arrested and tried for the murder of her dear friend, Overall Concept, but [[spoiler:she learns during the trial that ''he was going to propose to her!'']]
** Silver Spoon is also this ''big time'' when the case is fully explored. [[spoiler: Silver Spoon was shown to have much more of a bigger moral compass than Diamond Tiara. She was clearly against Diamond Tiara's whole plan about stealing Scootaloo's scooter and blackmailing the whole CMC into getting Rarity's golden fabric. When things go awry after a confrontation with Scootaloo and Turning Page, Diamond Tiara's crown ends up in the gorge and Silver Spoon's glasses break with only one of the lenses later revealed to be intact. Silver Spoon mentions she is pretty much [[BlindWithoutEm blind]] without her glasses, especially at night, but still had enough lenses to go see. She then decides to try and head out of the forest until she spots a trail of blood and spots a half-dead Sweetie Belle passed out. Silver Spoon went out of her way to help Sweetie Belle as much as she can, but is later [[NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished "rewarded"]] for her efforts with Sweetie Belle threatening to tell on Silver Spoon if she doesn't plant the magazine in Diamond Tiara's room. And mind you this filly recently got scratched by Rarity's cat causing some bleeding to occur. What's worst is that Silver Spoon recently revealed her home life isn't the best as her parents are barely around and despite seemingly enjoying hanging out with Diamond Tiara in the meantime, she actually is envious of how well the CMC get along all of the time wishing she was part of their group. The fact that one of those fillies she wanted to hang with one day took advantage of her in a rather vile way even after saving her life must have taken even more of a toll on her. Somepony needs to give Silver Spoon a big hug...]]
** Rarity has been put through the emotional wringer over the course of [=EoJ=]. Case #1 has Coco, a good friend and fellow fashion designer, be accused of murder and being prosecuted by a stallion (Prince Blueblood) that Rarity can't stand to the point she risks being held in contempt of court. The second half of Case #2 has her little sister getting arrested for supposedly murdering a royal guard and later finding out that said sister committed blackmail to get payback on some bullies. That's not even getting into the way Rainbow Dash figures [[NoSympathy it served Sweetie Belle right]] for not supporting Scootaloo when the latter was on trial for the same crime and later witnesses Athena seemingly about to step down as Sweetie's defense when the latter initially refuses to testify. Rarity is noticeably absent from the aftermath of the first half of the second trial, which causes the others much worry. Shortly after, her business and home is broken into while her beloved cat is there alone. And to top it all off, upon Case 2's conclusion, [[spoiler:Rarity is ''arrested for Overall Concept's murder'', because Equity claims to have evidence that sheds new light on Case 1's events]].
