9	* FanPreferredCouple: Jenny Hoyt and Cassie Dwell is an intensely strong fan pairing for the show. The two get more support together over either one with any of their actual love interests in the show (Season 1 had Jenny and Cassie literally fight over Jenny's husband Cody whom Cassie had had an affair with while Jenny also had old flame Blake Kleinsasser and in Season 2 Jenny had Travis Reed while Cassie had Mark Lindor). What endears them so much as a couple to fans is that the two continued working with each other despite their conflict, Cassie helped Jenny recover from Cody's murder despite her own grief over him too and then the two eventually became very close friends beyond just being PI partners.
10	* MagnificentBastard: (Season 1): [[OpportunisticBastard Cheyenne Kleinsasser]] is the only [[WomenAreWiser daughter]] of Horst and the youngest of his four children. Seeking to free her mother Margaret from Horst's hostile control and knowing her brothers J.W. and Rand framed her other brother Blake to get the family ranch, Cheyenne berates Margaret to instill anger in her and get her to quit her pill addiction. Witnessing Blake's murder at J.W.'s hands, Cheyenne stages his death as either [[MakeItLookLikeAnAccident accidental or suicide]] to hold it over J.W., takes possession of the belt of a ranch hand Rand killed as insurance too and then also feeds information to [=PIs=] Jenny Hoyt and Cassie Dewell to help them with their investigation as well. After Rand is killed and Cheyenne kills J.W. in self-defense, Cheyenne helps cover up Margaret's murder of Horst and then [[YoungestChildWins takes possession of the ranch for them alone]].
