!! "The House of Tropes":
* AllMenArePerverts: [[Wrestling/JessicaKresa ODB]] gave him MarshmallowHell to counter his attempted interference during her dark (non-televised) [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOYt0d62d7A match]] with Wrestling/TaelerHendrix at the taping for the December 19, 2015 episode of ''Ring of Honor''. He came up smiling, which ODB found creepy.
* BadassTeacher: Runs his own wrestling school, The House of Truth Wrestling School, producing such talents as Wrestling/JimmyJacobs, [[Wrestling/MotorCityMachineGuns Alex Shelley]], Juice Robinson and Wrestling/{{Danhausen}}.
** RetiredBadass: Works exclusively as a trainer these days.
* BizarroEpisode: Invoked, as it was the whole idea behind ''A Night of Hoopla'', which he booked.
* BlankBook: The ''Book of Truth'' is a hardcover book with Martini's face on the cover and complete nonsense inside.
* ContinuityNod: He dislike of Wrestling/{{MsChif}} is largely unrelated to whatever issues he has with Elgin, even after they were married. To learn the full story you'd have to watch All American Wrestling, which also has its own House Of Truth.
* TheCorrupter: Wrestling/JayLethal turned heel and joined The House of Truth when he won his first [[http://www.wrestling-titles.com/us/roh/roh-h.html ROH World Title]].
* DeclarativeFinger: He tries to put on a friendly face though
* DrugsAreBad: He states all of ACH's failures are due to drug abuse. The ''truth'' in such statements was argued against by the accused.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: Look at him during his wrestling days versus the way he is as a manager.
* EvilLaugh: His is contagious among H.O.T. members.
* EvilMentor: Was this to Jay Lethal during his House of Truth run before both turned Faces. Later, he reverted back to Heel, with Wrestling/MattTaven as his next aide during his Hoopla run until their separation.
* FunWithAcronyms: He is a '''L'''ife '''I'''ntervention '''E'''xpert.
* TheGadfly: He gave a fan a free lap dance from Hoopla Hottie Wrestling/ScarlettBordeaux on ''A Night Of Hoopla'', blind folded him him and set two women who were ''[[FatComicRelief not]]'' Bordeaux on him. To the fan's credit, he did pay the women for for their services in apology for his freakout.
* GreatBigBookOfEverything: What Truth claims the ''Book of Truth'' is.
* ImAManICantHelpIt: Actually said the last four words verbatim during a "Hoopla Hotties" segment once on ROH TV.
* KavorkaMan: He's not big nor always well shaven and doesn't appear to clean his hair, but that doesn't stop him from attracting female followers.
* PaintItBlack: The second time he started up the House Of Truth in ROH was much less goofy than the first, visually signified by the vibrant multi colors being swapped out for lots and lots of black on Martini's part.
* PerkyFemaleMinion: His Hoopla Hotties tend to be. The House Of Truth has a "national anthem" which is basically an oath to be one. In 2015, he partnered with Taeler Hendrix.
* PowerStable: The manager of The House of Truth, which included, among others, Jay Lethal, Wrestling/ChristopherDaniels, Wrestling/{{Rh|yno}}ino, Wrestling/RoderickStrong, Taeler Hendrix, Donovan Dijak, Scarlett Bordeaux and Michael Elgin.
** Along with Lethal, he was a Hanger-on in Wrestling/LosIngobernablesDeJapon in Wrestling/NewJapanProWrestling.
* PutOnABus: After a neck injury from Donovan Dijak. The House Of Truth struggled to continue on without him but ended up coming down and he did not return to ROH after recovering.
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney: He has a reputation for paying wrestlers to not participate in matches so House Of Truth representatives can wrestle in their place.
* SmallNameBigEgo: In {{Kayfabe}} he's a self-help guru writer that no one's ever heard of; this doesn't stop him from trying to join everyone to the House of Truth.
* StartMyOwn: [[http://www.hotwrestling.com The House of Truth Wrestling School]].
* SunglassesAtNight: Red lenses, less the show end before nightfall. Sometimes his shades look more like goggles with a strange tint.
* TagTeam:
** Albanian Justice, with Cisco
** Michigan Invasion, with N8 Mattson
* TalkShowWithFists: Hoopla Uncut.
* VillainBall: After Roderick Strong's match at ''ROH Homecoming'' 2012 against Wrestling/EddieEdwards was canceled, Wrestling/AdamCole volunteered to replace Edwards, even accepting a [[NoHoldsBarredContest No-Holds Barred]] stipulation. Martini could interfere in Strong's favor as much as he wanted...and announced ahead of time that he would so Cole super kicked him right off the bat.
* VocalEvolution: To go with paint it black, his voice has become much deeper and raspier as the years went by, especially the second time he lead the House Of Truth in ROH.
* YouCantHandleTheParody: The House of Truth's entrance theme started by quoting the Trope Namer.
