''[=ToonMarty=]'' is a Canadian animated series produced by the Montreal-based animation studio Sardine Productions (also known for ''WesternAnimation/MyGoldfishIsEvil'' and the ''WesternAnimation/ChopChopNinja'' franchise) for Creator/{{Teletoon}}. The show premiered on May 1st, 2017, but ran for only a single season of 20 episodes, [[ShortRunners concluding on May 26 of the same year.]] It also aired on Creator/{{Nickelodeon}} in Latin America and Europe in the same year, and later came to the United States on the streaming service Tubi in 2021.

In the town of Toonville, where all manner of {{toon}}s dwell, the superstore of [=ToonMart=] is where they all do their shopping. [=ToonMart=]'s mascot is Marty, a cheerful and energetic boy who sprung to life from a [=ToonMart=] billboard after it was struck by lightning. When not working at [=ToonMart=] under the supervision of its owner, an old mole named Jack, Marty hangs out with his two best friends, Burnie the dimwitted sidekick and son of the local supervillain Burnatron, and Holly the {{Fembot}} (both of whom utterly loathe each other). But no matter what he's doing, Marty makes nonstop zaniness out every adventure and plays around with every classic cartoon trope in the book.

!!''[=ToonMarty=]'' contains examples of:

* AcmeProducts: [=ToonMart=], which sells all manner of stock cartoon gag items.
* AffectionateParody: The show parodies common cartoon conventions, which is most obvious in episodes like "Where There's Smoke, There's Marty" and "Chicken Fricassee".
* BenevolentBoss: Jack is a friendly and reasonable boss towards Marty.
* BizarroWorld: The Toon-derworld, a hellish alternate universe populated by demonic [[EvilCounterpart Evil Counterparts]] of Toonville's citizens who express the desire to maim and/or devour any toon that crosses their path. It's also apparently the only place where you can find "ghost blue" paint.
* BlackBeadEyes: A number of characters in Toonville have these, notably Jack and Mayor Mutton.
* TheBully: Punchie [=McKnuckles=], the resident stock cartoon bully.
* CuteKitten: Carly is an adorable little kitty parodying characters found in cartoons meant for preschoolers.
* DeadpanSnarker: Holly has a pretty sharp tongue when it comes to Marty and his antics.
* DoAnythingRobot: Holly has tons of gadgets in her body.
* FatBestFriend: Burnie is this to Marty.
* FatIdiot: Burnie is Marty's sluggish, overweight, and moronic best friend.
* {{Fembot}}: Holly is one of these.
* MagicalGirl: Suki is a parody of the typical anime kind, as well as Marty's love interest.
* MinionWithAnFInEvil: Despite being the son and sidekick of supervillain Burnatron, Burnie is generally just obnoxious at worst due to being too lazy and stupid to be actually evil and more interested in hanging out with Marty.
* OnlySaneMan: Holly is this to Marty and Burnie.
* ParentChildTeam: Burnatron and Burnie are a villainous example of this, as they're Toonville's local supervillains.
* PlayingWithFire: Burnatron and Burnie both possess fire powers (hence the name).
* ThePollyanna: Marty himself is always optimistic and in a good mood.
* RecycledInSpace: It's kinda like ''WesternAnimation/SpongebobSquarepants'', but themed around cartoon cliches instead of the ocean.
* {{Retraux}}: Hobo Jeb is styled after characters from silent cartoons.
* ResetButton: Lampshaded and parodied in "15 Minutes to Save the World". Marty and his friends realize no matter what insane things happen around Toonville, everything goes back to normal the next sunrise, and proceed to abuse it with bad results.
* RiseOfZitboy: Spoofed in the episode "Marty's Zit". When Marty gets a talking zit on his face, he instead chooses to raise it like his child and watches it grow up as the episode progresses.
* RoadrunnerVsCoyote: Parodied with Chef and Chicken.
* SitcomArchnemesis: Marty has this relationship with Hobo Jeb.
* {{Superhero}}: Super Simon is Toonville's resident superhero and the archenemy of Burnatron.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Holly, the snarky [[DoAnythingRobot Do-Anything]] {{Fembot}} and Suki, the MagicalGirl of the typical anime kind.
* {{Toon}}: The inhabitants of Toonville, including all of the main characters, are all manner of stock and not-so-stock cartoon characters.
* ToonPhysics: The show is chock full of this. The intro itself demonstrates this quite well.
* WickedWitch: Grizelda.
