''The Mighty Ones'' is a Creator/DreamWorksAnimation television series, created by animation veterans Sunil Hall (''WesternAnimation/GravityFalls'', ''WesternAnimation/ThePenguinsOfMadagascar'') and Lynne Naylor (''WesternAnimation/TheRenAndStimpyShow'', ''WesternAnimation/SamuraiJack'', ''WesternAnimation/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries''). It is the first Dreamworks production not to be based on any existing franchise, and premiered on Creator/{{Hulu}} and Creator/{{Peacock}} on November 9, 2020.

The series follows the hilarious adventures of four small-but-mighty best friends: Twig (Creator/JoshBrener), Rocksy (Creator/JessicaMcKenna), Leaf (Creator/JimmyTatro), and Very Berry (Creator/AlexCazares). They live in an unkempt yard owned by a trio of unruly humans, who the friends mistake for gods. Despite their diminutive sizes, the quartet attempt to live life to the extreme.

!!''The Mighty Ones'' provides examples of:
* AlienHair: Rocksy uses a clump of moss as hair.
* AnimateInanimateObject: The main cast are a twig, a rock, a leaf, and a strawberry. Throughout the show a number of other characters are also seen to be inanimate objects.
* AnuscapePlan: The main cast wind up inside a snake. Twig, Leaf and Very Berry search for Rocksy, but find a sphincter labelled "End of Snake" which prompts them to backtrack. Rocksy later finds the same sphincter while trying to escape with Berry in tow, but decides to turn around and exit via the snake's mouth instead.
* AnthropomorphicFood: Very Berry, along with other characters, are anthropomorphic fruits.
* BlackComedyCannibalism: When deprived of food, Berry will quickly resort to cannibalism, unfortunately for Twig when they end up trapped together.
* TheBore: Twig is a very meek and milquetoast individual whose interests usually bore whoever he shares them with. He's a [[StealthPun stick in the mud.]]
* CrapsaccharineWorld: The protagonists would seem to lead pretty carefree lives, if it wasn't casually shown that they have to scavenge for food and are incredibly vulnerable to the hazards and dangers of being so small, from both animals and the elements. They don't even seem to have regular shelter.
* EggFolk: One episode is about the characters looking after an egg they accidentally knocked down. It's animate like them but has no limbs to move on its own, and is an insulting {{Jerkass}} that makes heavy demands of them. Funnily enough it's more like the egg shell itself is animate, as when the chick hatches from it lives independently.
* EyelidPullTaunt: Berry pulls her eyelid in the intro.
* GenderEqualEnsemble: Berry and Rocksy are girls, while Twig and Leaf are guys.
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: "Boat Day" is a GrandFinale that ends with the Mighty Ones talking about being saved "for another season of adventures" or "fading into obscurity in the streaming void."
* {{Lilliputians}}: The characters are tiny creatures who live in a secret world. Even earthworms and ants are huge compared to them.
* MouseWorld: The characters live in a tiny secret world unknown to humans.
* NightmareFetishist: Berry is very excited at the prospect of death and maiming, but this is easily overlooked compared to her generally manic personality.
* TertiarySexualCharacteristics: Rocksy is a girl rock with notable eyelashes, moss for hair and a butterfly as a bow.
* TitleDrop: Rocksy refers to the group as the Mighty Ones in one episode, though she becomes resigned to the fact that Berry's name "The Bone Jugglers", sounds cooler.
* YourSizeMayVary: How small the characters are relative to other things seems exaggerated and inconsistent in scale to other things and creatures, only generally kept to tiny.
