'''''Rekkit Rabbit''''' is a French Saturday Morning cartoon from the same stable of creators that came up with ''WesternAnimation/TotallySpies'', ''WesternAnimation/TeamGalaxy'' and ''WesternAnimation/MonsterBusterClub''.

Rekkit Rabbit is about Jay Shmufton, your typical 12-year-old who goes to a middle school in the suburbs with his mom and stepdad. In the first episode of the series Jay accidentally summons a giant 10-foot tall magic rabbit called Rekkit, who soon [[ABoyAndHisX became his best friend]]. Rekkit Rabbit ran away from his job as a magician's assistant in Chakabrak, and crashed into Jay's world and life. Rekkit is supernatural and magical, and can basically do anything, except he's not very adept at sorcery and this usually causes problems.

Alongside his friends SK, Wally and [[InherentlyFunnyWords Bean]], the kids usually run amok.

It airs on Creator/DisneyXD.
----
!!''Rekkit Rabbit'' provides examples of the following tropes:

* AllTrollsAreDifferent: They look like giant pickles with beards, wearing Jamaican hatwear and ... they're all taxidrivers.
%%* ABoyAndHisX: A Boy and his 10 foot tall magical, talking rabbit.
* AlliterativeName: '''R'''ekkit '''R'''abbit.
%%* AlwaysIdenticalTwins: Evita and Marisa
* AnimateInanimateObject: Living furniture and appliances appear in the episode "Convict Furniture", including a brief LawyerFriendlyCameo of the [[WesternAnimation/LuxoJr Pixar lamp]].
%%* {{Animesque}}
%%* ArtImitatesArt: Dogs playing Poker.
%%* AsideComment: Rekkit pulls these sometimes.
* BadBoss: Yoshini. Rekkit's former master that he fled to Earth from. Yoshini is quite the abusive jerkass and is determined to get his slave back, employing various other magical creatures to do his dirty work for him.
* BigEater: Unfortunately Rekkit is often prone to "sleep-eating", where he literally sleep walks through town inhaling ''everything'' in sight.
* BiggerOnTheInside: Rekkit's internal anatomy is ''ginormous'', its easy to get lost inside him if accidentally swallowed up as Jay discovers. There some [[BizarreAlienBiology all-round bizarre things going on]] inside of his big supernatural friend.
%%* BottomlessPits: Mirror land.
%%* BoyishShortHair: S.K. has this with sidetails.
* CannotKeepASecret: Rekkit ''literally'' cannot. A fuzzball physical manifestation of that secret will escape him, to run amok in the world until it has been shared with someone else. To his credit, he'll warn you not to share secrets with him.
* ClothesMakeTheSuperman: In an episode where Lorne and Jay are trying to bond at a comic con, they get costumes made by Rekkit through magic. This ensues.
%%* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Henrietta and Lorne have some weird interests.
* ConspicuousConsumption: After Rekkit becomes the new mascot for a toilet paper company, Henrietta and Lorne start making frivolous purchases, including a jukebox/juice dispenser.
%%* CoordinatedClothes: Evita and Marisa will often wear the same clothes.
%%* DiscoDan: Jay's stepdad, Lorne.
%%* TheDitz: Rekkit and sometimes Henrietta.
* TheDreaded: Poor Rekkit is terrified of simply thinking of his former-master Yoshini, and being abducted back to Chakabrak to resume an eternity of servitude again.
%%* EntitledToHaveYou: Evita and Marisa feel Rekkit should be their friend instead of Jay's.
%%* EvilSoundsDeep: Yoshini
* FaceYourFears: In "Barmy Bracelet Boffo" Henrietta is forced to get over her fear of heights when she has to fly in her goose form.
* FailedASpotCheck: In "Boo Booyah" after Booyah switches bodies with Jay he goes to Jay's room to search for Jay's magic wand, unaware that Jay's wand is right behind him in the back pocket of Jay's pants. Henrietta also fails to notice the wand when "Jay" asks her where it is and she suggests it might be in his room.
* FantasticallyIndifferent: People around town -- but especially Jay's parents -- will generally be unfazed by magical things happening around them unless they pose a threat.
* FantasticRacism: Rabbits on Chakabrak aren't allowed to perform magic by themselves.
%%* FinishingEachOthersSentences: Twins Evita and Marisa do this sometimes.
* FirstNameBasis: Jay and Rekkit both call Jay's step-dad Lorne by his first name, even though they both call Henrietta "Mom".
* ForcedTransformation: In "Barmy Bracelet Boffo" when Henrietta tries to use Rekkit's magical bracelets to clean the gutters without having to climb up a high ladder, she accidentally turns herself into a goose, Lorne into a jack-in-the-box and Jay into a garden gnome.
* GenreBlind: In "The Tortoise and the Harebrained" Rekkit is in a car race with his old idol, a tortoise, who is helping the twins. Before they can reach the finish line, the tortoise decides to arrogantly stop to drink tea and savor the moment. The twins ask him if he's ever heard the tale of the tortoise and the hare and point out he's doing exactly what the hare was doing. He says he does know the tale, but the lesson he took from it is the tortoise always wins no matter what.
%%* GrandeDame: Henrietta's mother Greta.
%%* GroupHug: The heavily emotional Rekkit is super-enthusiastic and super-clingy. Expect these to happen a lot.
%%* HappilyMarried: Henrietta and Lorne.
* HartmanHips: Downplayed with Henrietta and her mother Greta. They sport hips wider than their upper bodies, but they're both a realistic size.
* HeavyVoice: Jay and Rekkit in "Muscle Bound" after the second time they expand their muscles.
* HumanPet: Rekkit and Jay end up bringing home a cute baby dragon called Bob from another dimension. Henrietta has banned pets after one too many magical creatures messing up the kitchen. So the two friends sneak Bob in via an invisible collar, realizing this won't work, they have no choice but [[ShooTheDog to send Bob home]]. Bob's mother and father appear [[PerspectiveFlip telling the dragon he can't have another pet]] in the cave. Prompting Bob to use the PuppyDogEyes routine on his mom. When that fails, Rekkit and Jay scream as Bob pulls out [[HereWeGoAgain two invisible collars of his own]], forcing the duo to banish Bob.
* IllNeverTellYouWhatImTellingYou: In "Cool Fool" Rekkit hides the identity of the girl Jay wants to ask to the dance by only giving her initials. The girl being S.K.
* ItsFakeFurItsFine: Henrietta once wore a white fur coat to a job interview, making sure to mention that the fur was fake.
%%* JiveTurkey: Lorne again. The giant afro might've given it away.
* LethalChef: Henrietta. She can't even use a rolling pin correctly. Instead of rolling dough flat, she hits it repeatedly with the rolling pin like it's a hammer. She can't even cook a frozen pizza without Lorne's help. Rekkit is only one who likes her cooking. (She gets it from her mother.)
* LoonyFriendsImproveYourPersonality: As is the case with Jay over the course of the series, Rekkit's fun-loving nature, goofball humor, and wacky hijinks gradually rubs off on him.
* MarryThemAll: In one episode Evita and Marisa talk about both of them getting married to Rekkit.
* TheMindIsAPlaythingOfTheBody: In "A Dog is a Rabbit's Best Friend" Jay is turned into a dog and is disturbed when he starts having feelings for his grandmother's pet dog.
* MisplacedRetribution: Rekkit can't swim, and he instantly believes all water is evil, and steals it. ALL of it.
%%* MisterMuffykins: Jay's grandmother owns one of these. Jay as a bunny is ''terrified'' of it.
%%* MotivationOnAStick
* NeatFreak: Greta won't let anyone in her mansion unless they're properly groomed and dressed up. Not even her own grandson.
* NoInfantileAmnesia: In "Baby Makes Four" Henrietta turns into a baby after using a magic youth cream. At the end, after she turns back to normal, she implies she remembers everything that was happening while she was a baby.
%%* NosyNeighbor: Evita and Marisa
%%* OneOfTheKids: Henrietta and Lorne have moments of this.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: S.K., full name Sarah Kingbury.
%%* OpenMindedParent: Both Henrietta and Lorne, to surprising levels, though they still set some boundaries.
* PickedLast: In "Crayfish Boy", when one girl drops out of the volleyball game over a broken finger nail, the coach looks over his options out of the benched players; a small wimpy kid clutching a teddy bear, a dog, a toaster and then Jay. The coach briefly reconsiders the toaster before picking Jay.
%%* PortalPicture: Rekkit can turn paintings into these.

* ScrewYourself: Rekkit's ex-girlfriend Blaggit is his DistaffCounterpart.
%%* SickeninglySweethearts: Henrietta and Lorne
%%* SingleMindedTwins
* SlidingScaleOfAnthropomorphism: A type 5, Rekkit hangs out with Jay and is for all intents and purposes a person.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: There is some confusion over whether the main family's name is Shmufton or Schmufton.
* SpoiledBrat: Evita and Marisa's dad is rich and they're used to getting everything they want.

* WeightTaller: In "Muscle Bound" Jay and Rekkit both get a couple of feet taller as they put on muscle.
* WeirdnessCensor: In "Boo Booyah" after Booyah switches bodies with Jay, Henrietta fails to notice anything strange about "Jay's" behavior, even when he addresses her by her full name.
