"Clippety Clobbered" is a 1966 ''WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes'' short featuring WesternAnimation/WileECoyoteAndTheRoadRunner.

Wile E. uses his new chemistry lab to try to catch the Road Runner, from making invisible paint to using a jet-powered spray container, none of which are successful.

Notable for being the last Rudy Larriva short of the series.

!!"Clippety Clobbered" provides examples of:

* EndOfAnEra: The final short directed by Rudy Larriva.
* ImprovisedJetPack: One of the gadgets Wile E. makes with his chemistry set is a spray can that is basically a handheld jetpack. It doesn't work any better than any of his other plans.
* IrisOut: A rarity during the era of when the "Abstract WB" logo sequences were in use. The camera zooms into the Coyote's eye with his pupil transforming into the Road Runner, giving off his signature BEEP and zooming away.
* RecycledScript: The train tunnel scene is copied from the same gag in the 1958 WesternAnimation/BugsBunny cartoon ''Hare-Less Wolf'', with Charles M. Wolf/Wile E. Coyote chasing Bugs Bunny/the Road Runner into the tunnel, Bugs Bunny/the Road Runner pretending to be a train and chasing Wolf/Wile E. out of the tunnel, Wolf/Wile E. getting wise and chasing Bugs/the Road Runner back in and does not seem fooled by another approaching headlight, but it turns out to be a real train that hits Wolf/Wile E.
* StockSoundEffects: This was the first ''Looney Tunes'' cartoon to use sound effects from the Creator/HannaBarbera library.
* TookALevelInJerkass: The Road Runner, of all characters, actually sensing danger and playing some mean tricks on Wile E. Coyote, something he never did in the Chuck Jones shorts.
* VisibleInvisibility: When the Coyote uses the invisible paint.
