Another virtual world from the team behind Website/{{Neopets}}. Petpet Park, in a nut-shell, was a large, gated area where Petpets (pets for a Neopet to play with) could roam free without any possible harm. They could also partake in quests, buy things from the local shops, and play games together to earn Park Points, which could be used to purchase more items. You could also buy clothes for your petpet [[note]](as well as lots of other assorted items, such as color bottles, passes to exclusive quests, and other random trinkets)[[/note]] at the [[AllegedlyFreeGame Petpet Park Mall]], which required real money to purchase.

Most of the other fundamentals from the Neopets site applied here, with a few exceptions. The game took place all in one window, powered by UsefulNotes/AdobeFlash. There was more emphasis on story rather than taking care of your pet - actually, you ''were'' the pet. Or, at least you controlled it. There were six unique petpets you could take control of (and you could only have 1 of them). They were the [[https://web.archive.org/web/20120124004447/http://www.petpetpark.com/images/gameguide/speciesDipniPopup.png Dipni]], [[https://web.archive.org/web/20120124004452/http://www.petpetpark.com/images/gameguide/speciesDrymPopup.png Drym]], [[https://web.archive.org/web/20120124004452/http://www.petpetpark.com/images/gameguide/speciesHiffloPopup.png Hifflo]], [[https://web.archive.org/web/20120124004447/http://www.petpetpark.com/images/gameguide/speciesKassegatPopup.png Kassegat]], [[https://web.archive.org/web/20140906000023/http://www.petpetpark.com/images/gameguide/speciesOukinPopup.png Oukin]], and [[https://web.archive.org/web/20120124004448/http://www.petpetpark.com/images/gameguide/speciesPinixyPopup.png Pinixy]].

Now that you've learned all you can, why not explore the park? It's very calming and soothing, after all. Well, it ''was'' very calm and soothing. But unfortunately, [[DefunctOnlineVideoGames it ended up]] closing on September 18th, 2014. If you played it before it closed its doors, we hope you had fun!

!!This Park provided examples of:

* AllegedlyFreeGame: Aside from Neocash/Nickcash items, which can only be obtained by paying real-life money, there are also "gated" areas only accessible to members.
* AmazingTechnicolourWildlife: Not as many as Neopets, but some of the more Exotic colours can be pretty wild, such as Fire, Zombie and Shimmering Hearts.
* AndYourRewardIsClothes: Pretty much all you get from quests, aside from some figurines.
* AnInteriorDesignerIsYou: As of 2011, your petpet has its own house! Too bad all the half-decent stuff is [[AllegedlyFreeGame NC...]]
* CollectibleCardGame: ''Cardcasters''. Though you can't trade them, and can only be bought with NC.
* BigBad: Zorkorian, a dark wizard who was exiled from Autropolis for planning to use dark magic to rule the area. His wandering about and experimenting with magic and artifacts has set other plots in motion.
* ConvectionSchmonvection: Apparently the best place to cook noodles is in the middle of a volcano.
* CosmeticAward: You can earn trophies for leveling up, which can be placed in your house.
* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: The [=NPCs=] were originally Neopets back when the game was in beta. When the game was fully released to the public, they were replaced with Petpet characters and never seen or acknowledged again.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Just about any vaguely scary-looking person in the park, including Jorguss.
* EverythingsBetterWithSparkles: One of the colours for the Petpets that isn't available on Neopets is the Sparkle color, which can be seen as a TakeThat to ''Literature/TheTwilightSaga'' on account it turns your character into a rather exaggerated version of their vampires, complete with a very sparkly white aura.
* EverythingsDeaderWithZombies: The Halloween Event for 2010 heavily involves zombies, to the point of introducing a whole new area infested with them and introducing eerie purple clouds that can spread the virus. There's also the Zombie color available at the NC Mall.
* HarmlessFreezing: Neville the Polarchuck is perpetually frozen in a block of ice due to landing in a puddle on Blizzard Mountain while skiing. He is perfectly capable of talking and giving out quests from within the ice.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: ''Sir Liam's Castle Defender'' has petpets that use paper planes, brooms and [[BaguetteBeatdown loaves of bread]].
* LethalChef: Mr. Grimsby's pies are notorious in Petpet Park. One of them had conch shell pieces.
* LighterAndSofter: It's much more light-hearted than Neopets. There's hair nor hide of anyone like Lord Kass!
* MundaneMadeAwesome: If you buy something from Odissa on the Park Station Train, you'll get [[YouHaveResearchedBreathing five experience points.]] This occurs because it is currently counted as a quest. This may be a glitch.
* NightOfTheLivingMooks: ''Runemaster'' and ''Potion Panic'' both have undead enemies. You can defeat them after solving a puzzle in the former, and distract them with a ghostly dog in the latter.
* SavingTheWorld: The Halloween quests revolve around ridding the park of some kind of terrifying disease/goop/zombifying cloud/etc.
* ShoutOut:
** One of Neeters quests in 2011 was called [[Franchise/StarWars "It's a Trap!"]]
** The entire Aliens Landing storyline was one long ShoutOut after another. Of particular note is one item Vixor gave players. Its name? [[Series/DoctorWho Sonic Mining Pick]].
* SlippySlideyIceWorld: Blizzard Mountain. Petpet Park Square can also be like this during the winter months.
* TowerDefence: ''Sir Liam's Castle Defender''.
* VirtualPaperDoll: Your petpet.
* WhiteVoidRoom: One year's AprilFools joke has Winsela tell the player not to press a BigRedButton, as it will delete the Park. Pressing it brings the player to a BlankWhiteVoid that's entirely empty except for Winsela and another button. She reveals the Park wasn't actually deleted, and the player should press the new button to go back.
