Talamak: Return of the Warrior (usually shortened to Talamak) is an ongoing fantasy/drama hosted on Platform/Webtoon and written and drawn by ruffinmuffin, started in 2020.

It tells the story of Brenna Brown, an ordinary student recently accepted into a prestigious private institution called Caelus Academy. Here, Brenna is reminded of an ages-old legend, the tale of 12 warriors with elemental powers granted by ancient magic—the twelve Elementalists: Water, Fire, Wind, Earth, Flora, Fauna, Mind, Flux, Spirit, Time, Space, and Decay. But there's a part of the legend she's never heard before. The Elementalists were real. They were reincarnated. And she's one of them.

Talamak, too, has received its own fair share of reincarnations, but its most recent revision began on Webtoons on September 2nd, 2020. It was originally updated on a weekly schedule, but seeing as it began in 2020, it experienced more than a few delays during its early arcs.

!! Talamak contains examples of:

----

* TwentyMinutesIntoTheFuture: It's hard to place exactly when the series is meant to occur, but it definitely seems to fall under this trope. Modern fashion sensibilities meet fantasy elemental powers meet a cutting-edge high-tech secret school campus.
* AllThereInTheManual: Several early chapters end with small character profiles, detailing helpful information about the characters, like their birth dates and pronouns.
* Animesque: Despite being a Western comic, the art style takes a number of cues from anime, particularly the large, detailed eyes and frequent use of MangaEffects.
* ArtShift: Most of the exposition centered around the original Elementalists or their powers is delivered in the form of abstract cave painting-like drawings, as opposed to the more concrete and detailed style of the rest of the comic.
* BadPowersBadPeople: Implied with the Elementalist of Decay. Cyrus speaks about them in hushed tones to Brenna, and tells her that the faculty is reluctant to divulge much information about who or what the Decay Elementalist is.
* ExtranormalInstitute: Caelus Academy splits the difference between a SuperheroSchool and a WizardingSchool, a clearly modern, high tech, cutting edge educational institution seeking out the Elementalists' reincarnations and teaching them how to use their innate magical powers.
