''[[https://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/mahou-shounen-fight/list?title_no=130145 Mahou Shounen Fight!]]'' is a webcomic that parodies and pays homage to the MagicalGirl genre, written by [=DustyJack=] and [=JadePrince=].

Mike Smith is pretty much done with trying new and exciting things. Being raised by the grown up equivalent of a GranolaGirl he hopes to avoid the weirdness trend set by his mom by going to a new prestigious private school, the St. Didacus Academy for Upstanding International Achievers, that will look great on his college applications. The first day seems completely fine, except the second day he wakes up and sees the living embodiment of Summer has taken host in his head. Things only get weirder from there.

He finds in his school the other three season spirits inhabiting three other boys, [[TheStoic Yuki]] with Winter, [[TheCasanova Raji]] with Autumn and Oliver with Spring. All of them are a part of the Environmental Awareness club with Joe Lachlan, a combination TeamMom and DrillSergeantNasty elementary school gym teacher and only other person [[InvisibleToNormals who can see the spirits]] as their adviser.

Since April 2016, the series has been on hiatus and promises an irregular publishing schedule, only putting out chapters as they're finished.

!! This webcomic provides examples of:

* AmbiguouslyGay: So far, Joe and Oliver. Raji, surprisingly, is straight.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: The spirits.
* AnthropomorphicFood: [[spoiler:Fafa turns all of Anne's baked goods into this but Oliver easily overwhelms them with one sweep attack.]]
* AuthorAppeal: The authors love messing with the gender binary.
* CallingYourAttacks
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: The spirits again. Summer is yellow, Autumn is red/orange, Winter is light blue-gray and Spring is green.
* CombinationAttack: [[EnergyWeapon Mike]] and [[AnIcePerson Yuki.]]
-->[[WaveMotionGun "QUICK THAW!"]]
* ComingOutStory: [[spoiler: Seems to be Yuki's character arc.]]
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Pretty much the Environmental Awareness Club when they transform.
* CultureEqualsCostume: Each of the boys' magical costumes are based off their culture: cowboy for American Mike, knight armour for Brit Oliver, samurai for Japanese Yuki and harem-ish for Indian Raji.
* {{Deconstruction}}: of MagicalGirl and SaveTheWorld tropes.
* DramaticIrony: [[spoiler:Main villain Bohai]] is bound to Yuki's sister Chihiru, who she acknowledges as her ImaginaryFriend.
* ElementalPowers: Seasons are a force of nature, after all.
* FogFeet: Spirits [[spoiler:who do not transform the things they possess in the material world]] are almost always having these.
* FourManBand
** OnlySaneMan: Yuki
** TheSmartGuy: Oliver
** The CasanovaWannabe: Raji
** The ButtMonkey: Mike
* FourTemperamentEnsemble: Note if based on their seasons, Raji's and Mike's temperaments are flipped.
** Sanguine: Oliver
** Choleric: Raji
** Melancholic: Mike
** Phlegmatic: Yuki
* HeterosexualLifePartners: Mike and Yuki. Enough so that Alex asks Mike if [[NotWhatItLooksLike they're dating.]] [[spoiler:[[HilariousInHindsight This becomes funny]] when you realize Yuki is gay and Alex might be as well.]] The "quick thaw" scene has their powers interacting in an, interesting way...
* InMediasRes: The first two pages start with Mike, already established as a Magical Boy trying to confront a "bog fairy".
* InvisibleToNormals: The spirits which can only be seen by other spirit holders and Joe.
* JumpedAtTheCall: Oliver and Raji, it seems.
* MarilynManeuver: [[http://www.mahoushounenfight.com/?p=42 Not quite, but the imagery is there...]]
* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: Raji and his fiancée Anjika, they're both crossdressers.
* MultinationalTeam: Covering the U.S., the U.K., India and Japan.
* OddCouple: Summer and Mike, Autumn and Raji.
* OnlyOneName: All the Spirits except [[spoiler:the Sky Mother]].
* PaperThinDisguise: This is a MagicalGirl parody. It's a pretty much a LAW.
* PerfectlyArrangedMarriage: Nothing's final yet, but Raji and Anjika.
* RedBaron: Raji takes to making these up for the group. Also naming himself the leader.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: Autumn is the most masculine looking spirit (and most short tempered) and he is rather upset that he is in the super feminine Raji.
* ShipperOnDeck: Mike ([[spoiler: and Raji arguably [[http://www.mahoushounenfight.com/?p=356 even moreso]]]]) for [[spoiler:Alex/Yuki.]]
* TheSmartGuy: Oliver and Anjika, [[AllThereInTheManual according to the website.]]
* SymbioticPossession: The case with the Season Spirits and the Club, [[spoiler:unlike the other malevolent spirits they have to deal with.]]
* TheReveal: [[spoiler:Spirits have been causing trouble in the material world by possessing humans and it is the club's duty to fend off said spirits.]]
* ThirdPersonPerson: Every [[spoiler:villainous [[MonsterOfTheWeek Spirit of the Chapter]] at one point.]]
* TransformationOfThePossessed: [[spoiler:Spirits can do this anytime once confronted by the club. The efficacy varies, however.]]
* TransformationSequence: Elaborate enough to cover a double-page spread.
* TransformationTrinket: Mike has underwear, Raji has a ring, Yuki has his archery glove. Oliver now has a pin of his family crest. A manticore eating a pile of snakes, as Raji puts it. In a word; wow.
* UnresolvedSexualTension: [[spoiler:Alex and Yuki, pretty obvious to the audience, but it confuses Mike]].
* WeirdnessCensor: Anne treats [[spoiler:the battle in her shop]] as a "strange centralized earthquake".
* WhamShot: [[spoiler:Dionaea transforming Ryver, a vegan animal rights activist and becoming the first proper opponent for the club about halfway through Chapter 4.]]
