The Bible Reloaded is an internet series launched in 2012 by Hannah [[note]]Formerly called Hugo[[/note]] and Jake. Hannah was raised Christian by her parents, but became an atheist after finishing high school, and Jake's never been religious, so they decided to start an internet series where they, as atheists, read and discuss the Bible and its stories, mostly in humorous ways. They also started doing [[ComicBook/ChickTracts Chick Tract]] readings when one of them found one in a truckstop bathroom stall and found it so bad that they found they could get some comedic mileage reading them and making fun of the {{values dissonance}} Jack Chick has on display in them from being an evangelical Christian writing them. They also have Ask Hugo and Jake Reads, segments similar to Jacksfilms' Jackask, where they comb their comment sections for comments to react to, mainly questions in Ask Hugo's case. They also do movie reviews where they react to Christian films, be them bad, or so bad, they're good.

They rebranded the main channel as "Hugo and Jake" in late 2017, due to Website/YouTube's demonetization policies towards their name; the "bible" being a religious word, and "reloaded" is associated with guns, as well as to let them do more than just religious content on their main channel, which they'd been wanting to do for a while.

On September 25, 2019, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrksuCrfQ1k Hugo announced]] she's been taking gender transition therapy for the previous several months, effectively outing herself as a trans woman, then on November 18, 2019 she officially announced her name change to Hannah, and finally in December 2019 they again rebranded the channel as "Hannah and Jake".

They've since started two more channels; The Quran Reloaded, where they do the same thing as The Bible Reloaded, only for Muslim-related content, and Unpopular Culture, where they talk about pop culture and do let's plays.

They have 3 channels on Website/YouTube:
[[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgGgkVyadk0TdxmVzYcAM-Q The Bible Reloaded]], [[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1gSxXwxoIxIt9doAapuueg The Quran Reloaded]], and [[https://www.youtube.com/user/TheUNpop Unpopular Culture]], a [[https://www.dailymotion.com/thebiblereloaded channel on Dailymotion]], and a forthcoming website.

In addition, both Hannah and Jake have their own respective [=YouTube=] channels, [[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCylMCpKw90cB1kPG_8w1stA Hannah Reloaded]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbv6uKrZUFqYoDLXIAlARVQ Actual Jake]], in which they're dedicated to debunk and make fun of conspiracy theorists, alt-right individuals, and "anti-SJW" [=YouTubers=].

In January 2024, Jake [[https://youtu.be/2hN8GgKk3gU?si=l_76DQKJWU4MapnC livestreamed that he no longer associates with Hannah due to a repeated behavior of sexual harassment from her to him and her repeated moments of manipulation, self-deprecation, and other things over the last few years]]. This came after a few years of no direct uploads to their shared channel and no other crossovers or projects on their livestreaming channels. The Hannah and Jake channel is currently in Jake's control and he's keeping the videos still up on it public, but it would seem there will be no further uploads from either of them to it. Hannah admitted to the sexual harassment in a now-deleted livestream, but only to say that it was "cringey shit" and didn't properly take fault or apologize, so it would seem that their friendship is over and they will no longer be making content with each other.

!!Tropes featured in The Bible Reloaded:

* ActuallyPrettyFunny: They will point out when jokes or other things actually work to the benefit of the product in their reviews, though they're few and far between.
* AdamWesting: They've both stated they'd be willing to portray evil versions of themselves in a Christian movie should Pureflix want to cast them.
* AnachronismStew: Done in Chick Tract videos that were written before certain years and certain technologies came about for comedic effect.
* AndStarring: Their various guest stars. So far they've had WebAnimation/DarkMatter2525 twice, Steve Shives twice, Aron Ra, TJ Kirk[=/=]WebVideo/TheAmazingAtheist (they've also done a tract and a reaction to a Muslim video for guest videos on his channel) three times, Creationist Cat twice, Armoured Skeptic thrice, Mr. Repzion, Matt Dillahunty, Logicked thrice, Sargon of Akkad, The Needle Drop's host Anthony, Chris Ray Gun, Seth Andrews, [[RunningGag Chris Ray Gun]], TheRpgMinx, Bunty King, and [[RuleOfThree Chris Ray Gun]] for Chick Tract readings, and some of them for their 2016 December charity livestream.
** Jake has mentioned apparently having John Scarce, of the Scarce drama channel, and Milo Yiannopoulos on the channel at points. For obvious reasons, it's most likely that Milo's not still booked, but Scarce seems to have fallen through.
* BlackComedy: And how.
* TheCameo: Brad Jones in the ''I'm Not Afraid'' review.
* CanonWelding: In their "Logicked is NOT a Racist - Chick Tract" video, they bring in God's assistant, Gabriel (showed by a picture of Creator/MichaelCera) and portray God as closer to how they do from their "Biblical Conversations That Must Have Happened" series of videos. It might be a bit of ContinuityLockout for those who haven't seen those videos, but it's a nice nod to it for those that have.
** This is also used to establish part of the lineage of Harold Penisman in Chick Tracts.
* ColdOpen: They will often have these at the beginnings of their videos.
* {{Crossover}}:
** A lot of their Chick Tract reading videos are these with other atheist [=YouTubers=]. They've also appeared on a few of their atheist [=YouTube=] friends' channels in guest videos, such as The Amazing Atheist and the Drunken Podcast.
** Brad Jones appears at the tail end of the first part of their ''I'm Not Afraid'' review, only to get stood up by Hannah and Jake, who were done with that part. They've also discussed wanting to do a full-blown crossover with him either as himself or his Cinema Snob character eventually.
* ContinuityNod: Logicked has managed at least one of these in every Tract reading to the ones he's done already with them after the first one so far.
* DisproportionateRetribution: On display in most of the things they look at.
* DoubleStandard: {{Discussed}} at points, but the conversation with Aron Ra they had where he discusses how some hardcore Christians will cite you as wrong on all accounts if you admit you don't know something for sure that you're arguing about if you're arguing with them about their various beliefs, [[{{Hypocrite}} even though they don't have a logical answer either]] and will discount everything else you just pointed out and were right about just because you don't believe in what they do when it comes to what happens when you die and how the universe works on a fundamental level is a good example.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: With the quality of their mic, the humor, and other things in their first several videos. It's what's led to their creator backlash towards them.
* EveryoneHasStandards: After one of their videos on something Ray Comfort made was hit with a false DMCA, Comfort himself sent them a gift basket along with a note assuring them that he had nothing to do with it and that he supports them in getting the video back up.
* EyeScream: Their reading of the "Cleo" track includes a riff about a dog getting stabbed in the eyeball ala a Fulci movie. And then, just to make sure viewers get the joke, a helpful clip for reference.
* TheFaceless: For the first 4 years of the show's history, they didn't use cameras to record their faces, only mics for their voices. They didn't have anything to hide, they just didn't buy cameras for recording until late 2016.
* GiantSpider: Hannah detailed an erotic dream she had that involved one. It was apparently "very pleasurable," but she was screaming the entire time.
* {{Irony}}: Ray Comfort is this incarnate. It's shown off most in his film, ''Exit,'' where he doesn't understand what depression is, nor is he interested to learn. He's not interested in actual facts in any of his films, since he's an evangelical Christian just trying to sell bad narratives and product [=DVDs=] to believers and churches to make money.
** Specifically, in the ''Exit'' film, he talks about depression and how it's causing a lot of deaths in society. He put the film together as a message for depressed people to seek help to get better mentally. However, his bare understanding of how depression works, even after being told directly a few times, leads to him incorrectly making the assumption that depression is where people are just being sad all the time instead of just not being able to be happy without medication. The filmmakers even state in the film to seek help, but in addition to calling a help line, which ''is'' advertised correctly, they specifically state to put more emphasis on trying to reach out to God, since he's the one that made them and can, most likely, fix them. [[EpicFail He also tries to make a metaphor about Christians only being ones with parachutes on a plane, as opposed to Atheists, and would jump out of said plane while everyone else stays in as a way of saying Christians have faith in God and the afterlife, but it actually makes Christians look stupid for jumping out of a safe plane if depressed rather than seeking help.]] They explain it better in their review of the film, but that's the gist of it.
* {{Metaphorgotten}}:
** A pretty funny one by Logicked, in character, during one of the Chick Tract readings.
--->''"That makes no sense. That's like saying if you drive a race car, then you're not a racist!"''
* NoTrueScotsman: Discussed a few times; For example, in their review of the film ''Film/ChristianMingle'' they point out how the protagonist fits all the strict requirements for being a Christian, but the movie treats her as not being a ''true'' Christian.
* NonIndicativeName: After a while, they started giving these to the Ask Hugo/Hannah and Jake Reads videos to vary it up a bit.
* OneSteveLimit: Averted and later subverted. Partially due to this rule, but also because Hannah's nickname used to be Hugo, which she was called rather than her birth name most of her life, Jake was the only Jacob on the channel before Hannah announced her name change that would avert this.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Hugo wasn't her real name, but so few people addressed her by her real name in her life that she regularly went by "Hugo", as it had been her nickname for many years now. As of November, 2019, she changed her name to Hannah and said her birth name was Jacob, same as Jake.
** Some of their guests also are only known by their online names rather than their real ones.
* OverlyLongGag: They can get into these, but they usually pay off.
* PopCulturalOsmosisFailure: Sometimes on display.
** Definitely with Logicked in the "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDJ8jz75lNs Logicked is NOT a Racist - Chick Tract]]" video. {{Lampshaded}} By Logicked in the same tract with this line, "I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with your pop culture. I was [[Film/TwelveYearsASlave enslaved for twelve years]]."
* ShoutOut: Many.
** The way they do their Chick Tract videos brings to mind Linkara's Atop the Fourth Wall and the way they do their movie reviews was most likely inspired by The Cinema Snob, or anyone else at Channel Awesome, but the Snob gets the most mention in their videos.
** The names of The Bible Reloaded and The Quran Reloaded are ones to ''Film/TheMatrixReloaded'', which they've later stated are terrible names, but can't think of better ones.
** For Ask Hugo/Hannah, the opening is a parody of how Marvel has done their logo at the beginnings of films of their properties and the opening for Jake Reads is a parody of the opening to many ''Monty Python'' films, complete with the music since it's under the public domain.
** Some of the titles of their Atheist Bible Study videos shout out pop culture.
* SignatureLaugh: Hannah has a very distinctive giggle, and Jake's "Huh-huh-whaa...?!".
** They have started playing ''Fallout 4'' and upload parts of a let's play on Unpop that are, as they describe it, basically a long-form Chick Tract.
** It's why they have 3 different channels and their different shows. Bible Reloaded has the Atheist Bible Study, Chick Tract readings, Ask Hugo/Hannah, Jake Reads, and movie reviews. Quran Reloaded has the Quran readings and reaction videos to Islamic content. Unpop is as it sounds, videos discussing pop culture and news, and the aforementioned let's plays and "Jake Tries."
* SuddenlyShouting: Jake used to frequently shout in the microphone for comedic effect, but he's since toned it down.
