5	The film follows a mime by the name of Graeme, who's craft he finds is going unappreciated by his audiences. One day after an act, though, he finds himself drawn to a woman he lays eyes on.

11	* ArtShift: When Graeme and Betsy are dancing in their apartments, the art changes to a complete flat, black and white picture of them dancing together.
12	* DeliberatelyMonochrome: Pretty much everything in the film except Betsy's lips, the balloon Graeme blows up, and [[spoiler:the flames when Betsy's apartment catches fire]] is all done in black and white.
13	* EveryoneHatesMimes: Graeme's act doesn't draw in very big crowds. And what few people do show up seem to walk out during his act. This is subverted with Betsy, who stays to the end of his most recent show, [[spoiler:and then by everyone else when Graeme saves Betsy's life from the fire]].
