It would make sense to bring in other characters with similar qualities (eg. Jarek, Chameleon) to fill in until those characters are resurrected. Besides it’s possible that D’Vorah and Ko'atal will at least have an EarlyBirdCameo in the sequel.

16	* ''Mortal Kombat Legends: Rise to Power''. Focusing on Shao Kahn himself, this potential movie could explore his origins, his ascension in Outworld's court - as well as eventual transformation into ruthless konqueror all MK fans know and love.
17	* ''Mortal Kombat Legends: Edenian Angel''. This one could be focused on Kitana - mainly her upbringing, her character development over the course of thousands of years, and her close friendship with Jade.
18	* ''Mortal Kombat Legends: Guilty as Charged''. Why not give a cruel mercenary such as Kano an animated film? It would be interesting to see his days as a Red Dragon Clan operative, his eventual desertion and founding of the Black Dragon, as well as how he became a mortal enemy to Sonya Blade in the first place.
19	* ''Mortal Kombat Legends: Warrior of Light''. This might be a little bit difficult... due to having TWO characters this movie could focus on: Liu Kang or Great Kung Lao. The latter might be more feasible to base the movie on due to existing backstory.
20	* ''Mortal Kombat Legends: Fall From Grace''. A fallen Elder God Shinnok might also get his own film, and here's why: fans might get the chance to look at his previous life as an Elder God, see why he became obsessed with taking Earthrealm for himself, as well as getting a glimpse of how he would be getting the Netherrealm under his control.
21	* ''Mortal Kombat Legends: Liu Kang's Destiny''. In response to Shang Tsung's failure, Shao Kahn has been launching raids on Earthrealm. The only chance of stopping his attacks is for Earthrealm's warriors to enter Outworld where he is hosting his own tournament and intends to personally ensure Outworld's victory. Still reeling from his loss to Goro, Liu Kang has pushed himself harder than ever, but still has his doubts as to whether or not he can defeat the emperor of Outworld.
22	** Alternatively, the movie could just skip the events of Mortal Kombat 2 and aim for the third game's events, since Shao Kahn's words imply he is done trying to invade by following the rules of Mortal Kombat.
23	* ''Mortal Kombat Legends: Servant of Evil''. This installment could not only make up for Shang Tsung's non-action role he got in ''Scorpion's Revenge'', but also expand on his ambiguous backstory. It could also show Tsung's tenure as Shao Kahn's champion as a bonus.
24	* ''Mortal Kombat Legends: Prince of Pain''. Sparse usage of Goro's character might be remedied in this potential film. Also, this installment could provide a deeper insight on Shokan race and expand on Goro's background as Mortal Kombat Champion in greater detail.
