From the perspective of Jolyne and co., it fits with their punkish, rebellious attitudes and how all of them are actually prisoners in Green Dolphin, whereas from the perspective of Pucci, he sees the idea of "Heaven" as being the ultimate form of escapism from the shackles of fate, though not in a particularly conventional sense.
