[[WMG: The Omnitrix/Ultimatrix is a prototype for the ''Literature/{{Animorphs}}'' Escafil Device]]
Or the Escafil Device is a prototype for the Omnitrix - either way, they're related. Think about it: both are forms of alien technology that absorb DNA and allow the owners to morph into different creatures (there's no evidence to deny the fact that Ben could turn into an Earth animal if he wanted to.) Both have time limits of different sorts as well.
** There isn’t enough information to back this up, but the existence of the Unitrix (An Omnitrix core which stores one DNA sample and makes it into a physical version of said species) proves that Azmuth had some concept ideas for the Omnitrix.

[[WMG: Ghostfreak and Doctor Victor were working for Eon.]]
Ghostfreak wasn't out of the Omnitrix long enough to put any sort of plan in motion and certainly wouldn't have been able to communicate with his three henchmen during the time he was loose during "Ghostfreaked Out"; the events of the episode took place over a single day, and he was shown constantly chasing Ben. Eon was shown in the Main/LiveActionAdaptation ''Race Against Time'' to have knowledge of the Omnitrix, including its ability to absorb the DNA of aliens. He could have planted Ghostfreak there. In addition, he is shown using purple energy, and along with the Omnitrix absorbing DNA, the telltale sign of season three's arc is purple lightning that looked rather like the purple electricity crackles that were seen in the clock gears during several ''Race Against Time'' scenes. Thus, it's likely these are more than recycled plot elements; they're continuations of the same arc, and Eon was its Main/BigBad all along.

[[WMG: The hotel guard from "Kevin 11" is Thumbskull's brother.]]
The two share quite a few physical similarities. It'd also explain why he was angry enough to have the whole family thrown out [[DisproportionateRetribution just because one kid took a peek at one game.]] He'd turned a blind eye to his brother's criminal behavior as a kid, felt guilty that he eventually ran off to join an evil circus, and wanted Max to be stricter with his Grandson so as to stop enabling him to go down a path of crime. Furthermore, he might've suspected on some level that Ben had strange powers like his brother did, and realized it was especially important not to let him get away with misusing them.

[[WMG: The Omnitrix has a measure of life and sentience, and is training Ben.]]
Think about it. Ben would go Fourarms every other time if he could. The "accidental" mistransformations (which have never been potentially lethal, like getting Ripjaws in Arizona) force him to think innovatively, or at all. It also times out inconveniently (more adaptability training), and recharges just in time to protect him and others (preserving the host). Further, it seems to take opportunities to evolve when they appear (gathering more aliens, and its "grown" form in Ben 10,000). Ken's Omnitrix ("Ken 10") is the (asexual) offspring of the original, since Azmuth probably wouldn't make another. He probably didn't even realize what he had created the first time around. Since there's at least one technological non-human species (Galvinic Mechamorphs like Upgrade) in the Benverse, it's plausible.
** Acutally, "Ken 10" with commentary stated that Ben used the combined smarts of Grey Matter and two other aliens to create another one.
* Alternatively, while the Omnitrix does possess partial sentience, it's just annoyed at being stuck to the wrist of a [[Main/BrattyHalfPint ten-year-old brat]] and does everything in its power to mess with the kid unless its own existence is at stake. (It was uncharacteristically helpful during "Secret of the Omnitrix", for example).
* The "Ripjaws in the desert" thing happened in the fourth season. It didn't become an issue because Ben hijacked another RV's bathtub.
* The Omnitrix occasionally extends its timing-out sequence longer than usual. This usually prevents Ben from dying or having his identity discovered. It does not, however, keep him from losing battles or reaching destinations safely.
* In addition to all of the above, ''[[CargoShip the Omnitrix is in love with Ben]].'' It chose to bond with Ben, after all; there was no reason for it to jump out and attach to his wrist before he even touched it. Then notice how, after he developed his crush on Kai, it inexplicably refused to let him turn into Ripjaws to save her from a flood [[note]] long before the werewolf entered the picture, thus before Ben acquired its [=DNA=] and got stuck in werewolf-alien form, so it had nothing to do with that[[/note]]. And in ''Alien Force'', the annoying beeping that made the Upgrade think it was a Plumber communicator started when Julie looped her arm through Ben's. Why Asmuth programmed it with the personality of a ClingyJealousGirl is anyone's guess.
*** Maybe he ''didn’t''. Maybe Azmuth didn’t intend for the Omnitrix to become sentient, and that happened by accident, just like with Eunice. After all, Eunice is basically supposed to be a less-advanced prototype of Omnitrix, so if she could gain sentience, who’s to say that her more advanced "successor" couldn’t do the same? Also, it’s worth pointing out that there’s precedence for the Galvans accidentally creating sentient technology, because that’s exactly how the Galvanic Mechamorphs were created.
** The werewolf episode with commentary states that the reason he couldn't go Ripjaws is because the Omnitrix was somehow stuck in between "Use" mode and "Collect" mode at the time. Why Ben doesn't have to switch it to collect mode for the rest of the aliens he absorbs later is beyond me.
[[WMG: Alternate Theory: Asmuth has been reselecting some of the aliens when Ben chooses one he didn't think would get the jobs done efficiently enough.]]
Think about this for a second. I'm pulling this from a fact in the pop-up version of ''Race Against Time'', either that, or ''Secret of the Omnitrix''. In it, at a point, it said that Asmuth watched Ben's adventures through the Omnitrix in the original series. Since we later see through the Primus episode of AF (no matter if it's canon or not) and the first episode of season 3 of AF that Asmuth has wireless connectivity and communication with the Omnitrix, it would only make sense. Although, sometimes, he'd mess around with Ben, or Ben would select the wrong alien and Asmuth didn't care to auto correct the transformations. I mean, look at Asmuth in the original series when we meet him in the movie. He's a whiny, arrogant, self-centered, inconsiderate prick, but he shows a small compassionate side when he fixes the Omnitrix for Ben, then said that Ben should figure out the master control like a true hero and grows a liking to him. After this, we see Ben not getting the aliens he wants less and less, to the point that in AF seasons 1 and 2, Ben has free reign with the Omnitrix to take care of the problems as he sees fit. Asmuth even confirmed in the series that he noticed Ben's more mature side since he was 10, also probably due to Paradox telling him about Ben's future, so it's entirely possible that Asmuth was teaching Ben how to utilize the powers of the Omnitrix well enough by showing him that other aliens are just as effective, if not a bit better, for certain tasks at hand. Notice that, when it's not for slight comic relief, the Omnitrix gives Ben an alien he dialed wither when the threat is unknown (most of the time), or Ben actually figured out for himself which alien he needed after using his head. This makes more sense, especially when you take into account Asmuth's initial reactions to Ben wanting him to turn the Omnitrix off in the movie. He'd seen a lot of what Ben had done, but since Ben was a 10-year-old brat most of the time, he didn't take him even remotely seriously and even compared him to Vilgax until Ben convinced him otherwise. Then he started trusting him, and even threw a new alien his way. Hell, Ben's new set of initial aliens in ''Alien Force'' could be seen as another test of Ben's critical thinking and problem solving skills, but taking it more easy on him, since Dwayne McDuffie confirmed that the Omnitrix in that series downloaded the info of the alien species into Ben's head after he transformed. Asmuth even expressed serious disappointment in Ben in AF season 3 for breaking the Omnitrix, then in ''Ultimate Alien'' when he commented on how ben's personality regressed a lot. It was only at the end of UA, where Ben proved he could be mature and take things seriously again that Asmuth rewarded him with the new Omnitrix. After which the Omnitrix just had bad hardware which gave Ben the wrong aliens at times (seriously, how in the hell is Ben even supposed to know what alien he's selecting with that terrible interface?). It was a test by Asmuth partially set up by Paradox.

[[WMG: Alternate Theory: The wrong transformations are the Omnitrix’s way of either helping Ben, trolling Ben, or Punishing Ben.]]
If we assume that the Omnitrix is sentient (which is implied many times in the show) then why does it really keep glitching out and randomly giving Ben wrong aliens? There’s many potential reasons that get brought up in the series, including that it might be some kind of safety protocol designed to save its wearer by giving them the right transformation when needed, while many fans thinks that the Omnitrix either just likes screwing with Ben, or wants to teach him to get more creative and versatile with his transformations instead of always relying on just brute strength. Or maybe it's just the Omnitrix's way of punishing Ben whenever he’s acting like a Moron. Think about it: Have you alk noticed that the malfunctions and wrong transformations tend to happen a lot during the LighterAndSofter parts of the franchise (like the Original Series or Omniverse), where Ben is quite prone to [[TookALevelInDumbass take a level in dumbass]] and be a reckless idiot? Also, after that one time when Ben and Kevin tried to hack and modify the Omnitrix during their teenage years in the later seasons, the malfunctions and wrong transformations returned and got even worse after far less frequent for a long while, which could imply that the Omnitrix was really angry at Ben for trying to hack it and wanted to get some payback on him. So, depending on the situation, the wrong transformations could either be the Omnitrix giving Ben the alien he needs instead of the one he wants to help him out, the Omnitrix trolling Ben and just wanting to have some fun with him, or the Omnitrix getting annoyed with Ben and wanting to punish him whenever he’s being a jackass or a moron.

[[WMG: Ben and Gwen are brother and sister.]]
This is almost text. They have the SiblingYinYang thing going on and even share the same birthday! Grandpa Max split them up amongst his own kids to give them disparate upbringings to prepare for their inevitable destiny.
* Um, Jossed. Considering we see their parents in ''Alien Force'', and it's stated multiple times that they're cousins across all 4 initial shows and the live action movies, they're cousins.

[[WMG: The reason future Ben has no sense of humor and is much more of a Main/{{Jerkass}} in "Ben 10,000" is that he had recently lost his wife, possibly in battle.]]
Think about it. The episode "Ken 10," set seemingly 10 years later than "Ben 10,000," features his son, but no mother of this son appears or is even mentioned. Ben's often a Main/{{Jerkass}}, but his losing his sense of humor is a definitely a personality departure, and this would explain why he was so insistent on trying to keep track of all Earth crime and solve it himself - guilt for not being able to save his own wife/lover. Especially if he witnessed her death first-hand. Ken not appearing in this episode doesn't conflict with this episode because "Ken 10" is never said to be exactly ten years after "Ben 10,000"; this gives some leeway, allowing Ken to have been born and his mother to die shortly after.
* Disproved in the special version with the comments. It says that Ben eventually marries Kai (from the werewolf episode) and that's she's just off somewhere else.
** This can still be worked around. It's likely that because she's off somewhere else, Ben grew to be quite a sad person who has forgotten how to have fun without Kai around. Alteranatively alternatively, Ben 10,000 and Kai got divorced, which would give a good explanation as to why he was like... That.

[[WMG: Future Gwen IS Ben 10,000's wife/lover and mother of his child, or at least, in one timeline/reality.]]
As above, asides from the special version with comments, Ben doesn't seem to have any other woman in his life.
** Jossed, it's Kai.

[[WMG: Future Gwen is dead and is a ghost.]]
Taking the theory that something tragic happened to Ben's significant other (if it was Gwen) Gwen being dead would explain a personality shift.
* Also, she seemed slightly translucent...
** There's also the floating thing...
** And phases through solid objects...
** She isn’t a ghost. She was in another dimension.

* Considering she says in the episode that she's in another dimension, and opens a portal from it to Earth to give Kenny a pet dog tiki monster, as well as having the charms from earlier in the series, I'm gonna say...Jossed.

[[WMG: Kevin 11 is the nephew of Peter Petrelli from ''Series/{{Heroes}}''.]]
They're both Emo kids from New York City with power-absorbing abilities, and both fight a DNA-stealing arch-enemy with a watch motif.
* Nathan's been even busier than we thought.
* In that case, Julie is somehow related to Hiro.

[[WMG: Alternatively, Kevin 11 is an alt-universe version of SYLAR.]]
Teen Kevin and Sylar look somewhat alike, and Teen Kevin even wears the SAME outfit Sylar wore when traveling with Suresh in Season 1. (The only thing missing is the Ramones logo on his black T-shirt.)

Both apparently have a core superpower that allows them to steal the superpowers of others (Kevin starts out by stealing powers from Ben's 10 aliens, and Future Kevin from "Ken 10" had apparently spent years upgrading himself by stealing DNA from assorted Null Void aliens); yet the writers seem to underuse this in favor of sticking to a single all-purpose power (Telekinesis for Sylar, Absorbing Man-Lite for Kevin).

Both apparently have major step-parent issues. Finally, both have recently gone through rather abrupt, fairly out-of-left-field {{Heel Face Turn}}s (although Sylar seems to have gone back to amusingly murderous sociopath).

[[WMG: "The Storyteller" is [[ComicBook/CrisisOnInfiniteEarths The Monitor]].]]
WesternAnimation/{{Ben 10}} is a multiverse spanning narrative. Episodes switch from parallel Earth to parallel Earth to suit whatever yarn "The Storyteller" (the voice we hear in "Gwen 10" and "Goodbye and Good Riddance") chooses to spin. This would explain the the mix of continuity changes between the original series (and certain original series episodes such as "Gwen 10" and "Ben 10,000") and its spin off properties "Ben 10:Alien Force" and "Ben 10: Race Against Time". This would also explain the Omnitrix's similarity to the Dial in "Dial H for Hero", the Dial is the Franchise/DCUniverse's equivalent.

[[WMG: Alternately, Paradox is "The Storyteller" trying to find the best possible future]]
Paradox(Ben 10: Alien Force) is watching/affecting multiple possibilities in order to reach the best conclusion. He convinced Future!Gwen to retrieve Ben because it was one of the best ways to alter the prime timeline without introducing himself to Ben before it was right.

[[WMG:The Omnitrix does not "time out" or need to "recharge."]]
In addition to the dial, the Omnitrix is triggered by changes in its host's willpower or emotions or state of mind that Ben just hasn't figured out yet. This makes its bond with its host stronger; it was after Ben accidentally turned off this function (so he could "go alien" completely at will) that Vilgax was able to remove the Omnitrix.
* Willpower as fuel? Then that means...

[[WMG:The Onmitrix runs on [[Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann Spiral Power]].]]
All we need now is Way Big wearing Kevin's car as a hat (for the ShoutOut to WesternAnimation/MegasXLR) and yelling "JUST WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM?"
* Does this mean Verdona is an Anti-Spiral? And that Gwen, by association, is Nia?
** Sure, why not. And while we're at it, Vilgax is Lord Genome.
* So the self-destruct on the Omnitrix is basically the Spiral Nemesis?
** Pretty much. However, who is Kamina? Kevin strikes me more as a sort of violent Rossiu. Wait, I got it: Ben's Aliens are TTGL characters.

[[WMG: Everything after "Perfect Day" is a [[AllJustADream dream]] of Ben's.]]
At the end of "Perfect Day", Ben (as [=XLR8=]) attempts to put Enoch into the dream machine but fails; Enoch puts Ben in the machine instead, slaps on the Omnitrix, and transforms, only for it to be revealed that Ben put Enoch in the machine after all. That, however, is what Enoch wants Ben to think, that he's succeeded. What really happened is, Enoch has put on the Omnitrix and taken care of Grandpa Max and Gwen, and now the Omnitrix has fallen into the hands of evil.

[[WMG:Ben 10 is a comic, and Gwen wrote it]]
"Gwen 10," "Ben 10,000," and "Goodbye and Good Riddance" "clearly" reveal that the events in the series takes place in a comic book series. Gwen is (arguably) a CanonSue. Do the math.
Ben 10: Alien Force as an AlternateContinuity makes more sense. It is written by Kevin Levin, who has a crush on an older Gwen. [[PerverseSexualLust And who wouldn't?]]
** Wait a minute. How do those episodes "clearly" reveal that it's a comic book series? As far as I'm aware, there's been no such hints.
** I don't remember if "Ben 10,000" did it but certainly "Goodbye and Good Riddance" and I think "Gwen 10" begin and end with the framing device of the episode being a comic book akin to Marvel's What If comics, which ''could'' be taken as it claiming that, though I'd say, as I said earlier in this paragraph, that it's more just a framing device.

[[WMG:Grandpa Max is WesternAnimation/MightyMax]]
Think about it. Max lost his hat at some point in his near past forcing him to start a new life, but what is a former time and space traveler to do? Join a government organization that would benefit from his experience of course!
* One problem with this theory is that Mighty Max is set in the 90s with Max as a child, whereas Grandpa Max grew up decades earlier (one episode states that he nearly became the first man on the moon).

[[WMG: The Sumo Slammer games made by the Government]]
The Feds manufacture the game in order to disguise the passing of information from coast to coast. Besides why else would that warehouse in "Kevin 11" be so heavily guarded?
* This actually makes a lot of sense. No wonder helicopters and military officials were after Ben and Kevin.

[[WMG: The Omnitrix is an upgraded adaption of the Element Of Power/Wotnot Book (from Kameo: Elements of Power)]]
The similarities between the two devices are unmistakable. Both can transform into 10 useful creatures, each with a MeaningfulName. The transforming devices are small, round, colorful objects resembling jewelry. The method of selection for which creature to transform into is a circular "wheel" for both. After absorption, both devices add that creature to the transformation wheel.

The Omnitrix is the better version because of a wider variety of creatures--Stinkfly, Ghostfreak, Overload (was that its name?) whereas Kameo's warriors are limited--no method of flight, most prominently. Secondly, Kameo's device is in two parts, and larger. In Kameo's universe, "Gods" gifted the wotnot book, but SufficientlyAdvancedAliens are mistakable for gods. The Element Of Power was a test run. Also, some ideas are reused--Rubble and Fourarms have a very similar head shape, and another telltale clue--there's only one creature that uses a ball(s) in each. Ben 10 has XLR8; Kameo has 40 Below. Oh, and those are the only creatures that have a number in their name.

[[WMG: The Omnitrix was trying to kill Ben]]
Everytime the Omnitrix "timed out" at the most inconvenient time, or changed Ben into the wrong alien instead of the one that could get him out of that specific situation, the Omnitrix was deliberately trying to get Ben killed. Why? Because the Omnitrix ''knew'' that it wasn't supposed to attach to Ben. The only reason it did at the time was because it was acting on instinct and it needed a way to get to it's true host. Unfortunately, the only way it could detach from Ben is if he died. So it keeps trying to kill him so that [[spoiler: Grandpa Max]] can get it. But everytime the Omnitrix tried this, there was the risk of it falling into the wrong hands, so it decides to "work" again in order to save ''itself'', and then try again another time.
** Probably jossed. As far as i'm aware it's canon that the watch doesn't give Ben the aliens that he wants from time to time, but to what he ''needs''. I recall an explanation for his random alien transformations being that it's because Ben slaps on the watc too hard. Like slamming your phone too hard and hitting a random app.

[[WMG: The cartoon is an adaptation of a comic book]]
In a parallel universe, there is a comic book series named ''Ben 10''. In that universe the creators of the comic are either approached by Creator/CartoonNetwork or put forward the idea themselves to the network. And so the comic receives an cartoon adaptation. And as a tip of the hat to the fact it's a comic, a couple of episodes feature a comic book at its start and end (like how ''Film/{{Superman|TheMovie}}'' features a comic opening at the start of his film). And that's the real reason why we see the comic. However, to our universe it doesn't make sense because Ben 10 started life in our universe as a cartoon rather than comic.
* Alternate theory: ''Ben 10'' really did started out as comic in RealLife. However, the comic is very obscure, which is why we never heard of it before.
** well yes, ''Comicbook/DialHForHero'' is pretty obscure

[[WMG: Future Ben (from Ben 10,000) was responsible for blowing out his timeline]]

At the end of that episode, Future Ben gives Present Day Ben a cake. This caused the timeline to diverge. In the original timeline, Ben had no cake for grandpa. In this new timeline, it is the mere presence of a cake for grandpa that causes the timeline to diverge and lead to ''[[WesternAnimation/Ben10AlienForce Alien Force]]''. Hence, the ButterflyEffect.

Or if you want you could put the blame on Future Gwen for taking them out of time in the first place.
* Makes sense, especially since Future Ben didn't seem to remember the events of that day.

[[WMG: The master code when used to go Ditto or Echo-Echo can result in an army of all the Aliens]]

Ditto and Echo-Echo can make copys of themselves + the Master Code allows instant tranformations = Omnitrix Army
* Ditto does not work that way. What happens to one happens to all; It could only potentially work with Echo-Echo.
** As of the 2nd episode of ''[[WesternAnimation/Ben10UltimateAlien Ultimate Alien]]'', this is canon with Echo Echo. Unfortunately, Ben's turned back into an IdiotHero, and he gets in his own way when he uses multiple aliens.
*** It could be that (perhaps due to the acknowledged flaws in Albedo's workmanship in the Ultimatrix, which would also explain the split personality that never manifests when Echo Echo is used normally), Ben's brainpower was split equally between the copies. Since even at his best he's no genius to begin with, each of Ben's bodies being at 1/3 the usual intellect would explain a lot about that fight.

[[WMG: Synaptak was an unused design for Grey Matter]]

Think about it. One power Ben was missing in the first series was psychic powers. Synaptak has psychic powers and a high intellect. So, chances are, Mr. Brain-in-a-jar was in a similar situation as some [[http://tnperkins.deviantart.com/art/Path-of-Development-Upchuck-79154482 unused Upchuck designs]]. Number one became the villain Sploot in Ken 10, number 2 became Spitter, number 5 became the villain Gullet in Ken 10, and number 9 went under a big time modification to become Arcticguana. Besides, the creators probably thought it would be funny to have a tiny alien not suited for combat, so Synaptak got ditched, which is a pity.

[[WMG:Ben is a Furry]]

In Perfect Day, he turns Gwen into a rat so they will not catch on to him

[[WMG: Sumo Slammers is WesternAnimation/SamuraiJack]]
A show featuring a japanese man against an evil shapeshifter? It's gotta be

[[WMG: The LiveActionAdaptation was a nightmare of Ben's.]]
The other plot in the movie was about him adjusting back to a normal life. The fear of going back to being a normal loser when summer ends manifested itself in a nightmare. Think about it, it makes perfect sense. The underdeveloped villain, the continuity errors, everything!

[[WMG: Sequel Series aliens will one-day undergo a redesign that makes them seem "first-series".]]
As in, more apparent clothing and having the Omnitrix somewhere other than the chest.
** ''Confirmed!"' In Omniverse, the aliens are exactly thus.

[[WMG: Professor Paradox is a time lord]]
he was a time lord that came to earth became human using the chameleon arch and worked on a project to create another version of the untempered schism but when it was finished he fell into it, the pocket watch is his chameleon arch
* He DOES mention a Time War in Omniverse...
** Not only that, but it has been mentioned that Professor Paradox is directly based on The Doctor, and it's pretty obvious, given his visual appearance, mannerisms, and near-infinite knowledge of time. For all intents and purposes, he IS the Doctor in the Ben 10 universe.

[[WMG: Ben is Timmy Turner]]
One of Timmy's wishes eventually completely rewrote reality, keeping only parts of his personnality and his voice in the process. The rewrite of reality also made him lose his fairies, although Wanda somehow managed to transfer some of her essence to Verdona.

[[WMG: The Null Void is also [[Franchise/{{Superman}} the Phantom Zone]].]]
The White Martians call it the "Still Zone" and Prometheus calls it the "Ghost Zone". Who's to say the Plumbers didn't discover it separately and call it something else? It's all owned by Creator/WarnerBros, after all.
** For one, only one version of the Null Void exists across the Omniverse, and alternate versions of the Phantom Zone exist which debunks this theory.

[[WMG: At some point in the past, a fair number of Anurans ended up on Earth]]
A theory I found on the Ben 10 wiki. Basically, the inhabitants of the Anur system resemble the classic horror movie monsters: vampires (Vladats), frankensteins (Transylians), mummies (Thep Kufans), werewolves (Loboans), ghosts (Ectonurites), and zombies (Ormerowons). If there are legends, folklore, and popular culture about these monsters before Ben encountered them, that implies that they'd had prior contact with Earth. If nothing else, few of each species ending up on Earth in the past and scaring the natives so badly that they were forever engraved upon folk memory (or, in the case of the Thep Kufans, Eqyptian burial practices) makes more sense that coincidence striking half a dozen times.

Of course, this raises the rather worrying question of whether or not any of them are still here, either in stasis somewhere or active, and even if there isn't, given what humans kind of have a reputation for in the Ben 10 universe, there's still the equally worrying (not to mention squicky) possibility of [[HalfHumanHybrid hybridised]] descendants existing.

[[WMG: The Yeti that Max Tennyson with Dr. Green was tracking was [[WesternAnimation/SecretSaturdays V.V Argost]]]]
And the reason they were tracking it is because their friends had disappeared in the Himalayas. But Argost had left by the time they arrived.
** This could be correct.

[[WMG: Secret of the Omnitrex and Race Against Time were misnamed]]
Secret of the Omnitrex involved trying to stop the self-destruct while th elatter involves something unknown about the Omnitrex.

[[WMG: The episode "Gwen 10" was actually a dream that Ben had]]
The confirmation that the episode is non-canon does make it seem like a pointless BizarroEpisode at first glance, but these observations help make the story make more sense.

1691. The episode begins with Ben waking up, and it is a common trope for dreams to have the dreamer think that they are awake.

1712. Even though he's gone back to the beginning of summer vacation, he still remembers getting the Omnitrix as well as all the adventures he had been on.

1733. Vilgax appears in one piece, when he was actually severely injured at the beginning of the series and didn't fully recover until the first season finale. Dreams do not necessarily have to be completely accurate to reality.

With all these things noted, it's likely that the dream ended after Max got the Omnitrix and that Ben was relieved to see that he still had the Omnitrix after all.

* A further part could be Gwen being an InstantExpert with the Omnitrix, which could be caused by Ben's own insecurities that Gwen would be a superior Omnitrix wielder, as well as inconsistencies such as Gwen!Grey Matter having Gwen's red hair when all Galvan seen in the future series are shown not to ''have'' hair, which would be understandable, aside from Tetrax and Kevin Ben has yet to encounter any other members of species he can transform into, so he has no idea female Galvan wouldn't have hair.

[[WMG: Ben descends from a Chimera Sui Generis ]]
We've never seen Ben turn into one [[spoiler:(well, at least until the Reboot, but that's another continuity)]] and we know the Omnitrix can't turn its user into his/her own species. Ben likely has some remnants of Chimera Sui Generis DNA in his own, probably not enough to alert people on Earth that he's a hybrid but just enough for the Omnitrix to consider him as one.
For the record, Ben has already been on Vilgaxia and we all know how often he and Vilgax meets. It's surprising he hasn't unlocked that form yet.

[[WMG: Ben is a narcissist]]
Ben is a glory hound, to the point that it interferes with his relationships with other people. Even when he learns his lesson, he ends up [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AesopAmnesia backtracking]]. At lease before the reboot.
** He’s a kid who’s gained recognition from the entire universe and you expect him not to brag about it?

[[WMG: Anodites are drunk on their power, which interferes with their ability to empathize]]
The high Anodites get from their ability to sense and manipulate mana, and by extension the universe, is overwhelming and as a result, makes it hard to focus on and care about those without that ability. That isn't to say that they can't overcome that handicap, but they might not have it in them to try to.
** Likely jossed? In Alien Force, Gwen's grandma says that most Anodites try to help other beings in the universe. So it's clear that they do at least feel a sense of empathy.

[[WMG: What the other aliens have looked like if Ben had turned into them in "Don't Drink the Water"]]
** Diamondhead: Smaller chibi version of Diamondhead, just like Heatblast. Would have been unable to properly control diamond constructs, only fire diamonds.
** XLR8: Also chibi version. Would lack the black spheres on his feet, and would be unable to run along walls or over liquids.
** Grey Matter: Judging by how Galvan infants are tadpoles, it could be assumed that 4-year-old Grey Matter would have developed limbs by that point, but they would be too short and stubby for him to use properly.
** Ripjaws: Would be completely unable to breathe air.
** Upgrade: Just a chibi Upgrade with no differences (because they are artificial lifeforms).
** Ghostfreak (true form, since Ben had reabsorbed Z'Skayr by said point): Just a smaller Ectonurite (judging by what we've seen of them in ''Omniverse'').
** Cannonbolt: Smaller and would have the same abilities, but armour plates would be weaker due to his infancy.
** Wildvine: More sapling-like, and would constantly require sunlight, similar to Ripjaws and water.
** Blitzwolfer: [[PreciousPuppy PUPPY]]!
** Snare-Oh: Smaller and has a different headdress with a blackened bandage hanging off it, similar to how Egyptian boys wore their hair.
** Frankenstrike: Dimunitive and lacks the electrical towers, meaning he could only channel electricity through his fists.
** Upchuck: Basically, no change.
[[WMG: Slix Vigma's Bodyguards are a variant of Techadon Robots]]
As the Ben 10 Wiki points out, the Bodyguards samurai design is similar, and it makes sense that they are likely just a custom variant of the Techadon Robots.
[[WMG: Eventually, there will be another reboot, this time DarkerAndEdgier and aimed at a young adults.]]
[[TooGoodToLast And it will be canceled after one season.]]
[[WMG: Vilgax unlocked Cannonbolt and Wildvine.]]
