Think about it: both are forms of alien technology that absorb DNA and allow the owners to morph into different creatures (there's no evidence to deny the fact that Ben could turn into an Earth animal if he wanted to.) Both have time limits of different sorts as well.
3	** There isn’t enough information to back this up, but the existence of the Unitrix (An Omnitrix core which stores one DNA sample and makes it into a physical version of said species) proves that Azmuth had some concept ideas for the Omnitrix.

6	Ghostfreak wasn't out of the Omnitrix long enough to put any sort of plan in motion and certainly wouldn't have been able to communicate with his three henchmen during the time he was loose during "Ghostfreaked Out"; the events of the episode took place over a single day, and he was shown constantly chasing Ben. Eon was shown in the Main/LiveActionAdaptation ''Race Against Time'' to have knowledge of the Omnitrix, including its ability to absorb the DNA of aliens. He could have planted Ghostfreak there. In addition, he is shown using purple energy, and along with the Omnitrix absorbing DNA, the telltale sign of season three's arc is purple lightning that looked rather like the purple electricity crackles that were seen in the clock gears during several ''Race Against Time'' scenes. Thus, it's likely these are more than recycled plot elements; they're continuations of the same arc, and Eon was its Main/BigBad all along.

9	The two share quite a few physical similarities. It'd also explain why he was angry enough to have the whole family thrown out [[DisproportionateRetribution just because one kid took a peek at one game.]] He'd turned a blind eye to his brother's criminal behavior as a kid, felt guilty that he eventually ran off to join an evil circus, and wanted Max to be stricter with his Grandson so as to stop enabling him to go down a path of crime. Furthermore, he might've suspected on some level that Ben had strange powers like his brother did, and realized it was especially important not to let him get away with misusing them.

11	[[WMG: The Omnitrix has a measure of life and sentience, and is training Ben.]]
12	Think about it. Ben would go Fourarms every other time if he could. The "accidental" mistransformations (which have never been potentially lethal, like getting Ripjaws in Arizona) force him to think innovatively, or at all. It also times out inconveniently (more adaptability training), and recharges just in time to protect him and others (preserving the host). Further, it seems to take opportunities to evolve when they appear (gathering more aliens, and its "grown" form in Ben 10,000). Ken's Omnitrix ("Ken 10") is the (asexual) offspring of the original, since Azmuth probably wouldn't make another. He probably didn't even realize what he had created the first time around. Since there's at least one technological non-human species (Galvinic Mechamorphs like Upgrade) in the Benverse, it's plausible.
13	** Acutally, "Ken 10" with commentary stated that Ben used the combined smarts of Grey Matter and two other aliens to create another one.
14	* Alternatively, while the Omnitrix does possess partial sentience, it's just annoyed at being stuck to the wrist of a [[Main/BrattyHalfPint ten-year-old brat]] and does everything in its power to mess with the kid unless its own existence is at stake. (It was uncharacteristically helpful during "Secret of the Omnitrix", for example).
15	* The "Ripjaws in the desert" thing happened in the fourth season. It didn't become an issue because Ben hijacked another RV's bathtub.
16	* The Omnitrix occasionally extends its timing-out sequence longer than usual. This usually prevents Ben from dying or having his identity discovered. It does not, however, keep him from losing battles or reaching destinations safely.
17	* In addition to all of the above, ''[[CargoShip the Omnitrix is in love with Ben]].'' It chose to bond with Ben, after all; there was no reason for it to jump out and attach to his wrist before he even touched it. Then notice how, after he developed his crush on Kai, it inexplicably refused to let him turn into Ripjaws to save her from a flood [[note]] long before the werewolf entered the picture, thus before Ben acquired its [=DNA=] and got stuck in werewolf-alien form, so it had nothing to do with that[[/note]]. And in ''Alien Force'', the annoying beeping that made the Upgrade think it was a Plumber communicator started when Julie looped her arm through Ben's. Why Asmuth programmed it with the personality of a ClingyJealousGirl is anyone's guess.
18	*** Maybe he ''didn’t''. Maybe Azmuth didn’t intend for the Omnitrix to become sentient, and that happened by accident, just like with Eunice. After all, Eunice is basically supposed to be a less-advanced prototype of Omnitrix, so if she could gain sentience, who’s to say that her more advanced "successor" couldn’t do the same? Also, it’s worth pointing out that there’s precedence for the Galvans accidentally creating sentient technology, because that’s exactly how the Galvanic Mechamorphs were created.
19	** The werewolf episode with commentary states that the reason he couldn't go Ripjaws is because the Omnitrix was somehow stuck in between "Use" mode and "Collect" mode at the time. Why Ben doesn't have to switch it to collect mode for the rest of the aliens he absorbs later is beyond me.

21	Think about this for a second. I'm pulling this from a fact in the pop-up version of ''Race Against Time'', either that, or ''Secret of the Omnitrix''. In it, at a point, it said that Asmuth watched Ben's adventures through the Omnitrix in the original series. Since we later see through the Primus episode of AF (no matter if it's canon or not) and the first episode of season 3 of AF that Asmuth has wireless connectivity and communication with the Omnitrix, it would only make sense. Although, sometimes, he'd mess around with Ben, or Ben would select the wrong alien and Asmuth didn't care to auto correct the transformations. I mean, look at Asmuth in the original series when we meet him in the movie. He's a whiny, arrogant, self-centered, inconsiderate prick, but he shows a small compassionate side when he fixes the Omnitrix for Ben, then said that Ben should figure out the master control like a true hero and grows a liking to him. After this, we see Ben not getting the aliens he wants less and less, to the point that in AF seasons 1 and 2, Ben has free reign with the Omnitrix to take care of the problems as he sees fit. Asmuth even confirmed in the series that he noticed Ben's more mature side since he was 10, also probably due to Paradox telling him about Ben's future, so it's entirely possible that Asmuth was teaching Ben how to utilize the powers of the Omnitrix well enough by showing him that other aliens are just as effective, if not a bit better, for certain tasks at hand. Notice that, when it's not for slight comic relief, the Omnitrix gives Ben an alien he dialed wither when the threat is unknown (most of the time), or Ben actually figured out for himself which alien he needed after using his head. This makes more sense, especially when you take into account Asmuth's initial reactions to Ben wanting him to turn the Omnitrix off in the movie. He'd seen a lot of what Ben had done, but since Ben was a 10-year-old brat most of the time, he didn't take him even remotely seriously and even compared him to Vilgax until Ben convinced him otherwise. Then he started trusting him, and even threw a new alien his way. Hell, Ben's new set of initial aliens in ''Alien Force'' could be seen as another test of Ben's critical thinking and problem solving skills, but taking it more easy on him, since Dwayne McDuffie confirmed that the Omnitrix in that series downloaded the info of the alien species into Ben's head after he transformed. Asmuth even expressed serious disappointment in Ben in AF season 3 for breaking the Omnitrix, then in ''Ultimate Alien'' when he commented on how ben's personality regressed a lot. It was only at the end of UA, where Ben proved he could be mature and take things seriously again that Asmuth rewarded him with the new Omnitrix. After which the Omnitrix just had bad hardware which gave Ben the wrong aliens at times (seriously, how in the hell is Ben even supposed to know what alien he's selecting with that terrible interface?). It was a test by Asmuth partially set up by Paradox.

24	If we assume that the Omnitrix is sentient (which is implied many times in the show) then why does it really keep glitching out and randomly giving Ben wrong aliens? There’s many potential reasons that get brought up in the series, including that it might be some kind of safety protocol designed to save its wearer by giving them the right transformation when needed, while many fans thinks that the Omnitrix either just likes screwing with Ben, or wants to teach him to get more creative and versatile with his transformations instead of always relying on just brute strength. Or maybe it's just the Omnitrix's way of punishing Ben whenever he’s acting like a Moron. Think about it: Have you alk noticed that the malfunctions and wrong transformations tend to happen a lot during the LighterAndSofter parts of the franchise (like the Original Series or Omniverse), where Ben is quite prone to [[TookALevelInDumbass take a level in dumbass]] and be a reckless idiot? Also, after that one time when Ben and Kevin tried to hack and modify the Omnitrix during their teenage years in the later seasons, the malfunctions and wrong transformations returned and got even worse after far less frequent for a long while, which could imply that the Omnitrix was really angry at Ben for trying to hack it and wanted to get some payback on him. So, depending on the situation, the wrong transformations could either be the Omnitrix giving Ben the alien he needs instead of the one he wants to help him out, the Omnitrix trolling Ben and just wanting to have some fun with him, or the Omnitrix getting annoyed with Ben and wanting to punish him whenever he’s being a jackass or a moron.

Especially if he witnessed her death first-hand. Ken not appearing in this episode doesn't conflict with this episode because "Ken 10" is never said to be exactly ten years after "Ben 10,000"; this gives some leeway, allowing Ken to have been born and his mother to die shortly after.

Oh, and those are the only creatures that have a number in their name.

Why? Because the Omnitrix ''knew'' that it wasn't supposed to attach to Ben. The only reason it did at the time was because it was acting on instinct and it needed a way to get to it's true host. Unfortunately, the only way it could detach from Ben is if he died. So it keeps trying to kill him so that [[spoiler: Grandpa Max]] can get it. But everytime the Omnitrix tried this, there was the risk of it falling into the wrong hands, so it decides to "work" again in order to save ''itself'', and then try again another time.

Basically, the inhabitants of the Anur system resemble the classic horror movie monsters: vampires (Vladats), frankensteins (Transylians), mummies (Thep Kufans), werewolves (Loboans), ghosts (Ectonurites), and zombies (Ormerowons). If there are legends, folklore, and popular culture about these monsters before Ben encountered them, that implies that they'd had prior contact with Earth.
