''Lorn'' is a SurvivalHorror video game by Killteam Studios. It released on PC, Platform/XboxOne, and {{Platform/PS4}} on October 20, 2018.

The game is set [[AfterTheEnd in the ruins of a once-great kingdom]]. An apocalyptic event ripped the souls out of the kingdom's inhabitants, and forced them into an artifact known as the "Heart of God." The king intends to [[DealWithTheDevil trade the heart with a group of supernatural entities]] in exchange for immortality.

[[PlayerCharacter You are Voss]], a loyal servant of the king who managed to hide during the event. Now you must take the Heart of God into the Forsaken Mines, [[EvenEvilHasStandards a place where even the king dares not go]].

But the king and his new benefactors won't just let you steal away their prize. Now you must journey across the land with goodness knows what hunting you, and goodness knows what waiting for you....

!!''Lorn'' contains examples of the following tropes:
* DarkFantasy: The game is set in the ruins of what was once a great kingdom, but is now fallen and is inhabited by nightmarish creatures.
* DownerBeginning: The game opens ''after'' the king has taken everyone's souls.
* EverybodysDeadDave: Voss is presumably one of the only survivors left in the entire kingdom. Made all the more poignant since that's how the game ''starts''.
* EldritchAbomination: "They" are the only name given to the entities the king bargained with. "They" view souls as sustenance.
* GlowingEyelightsOfUndeath: The zombies have glowing eyes. Doubles as RedEyesTakeWarning.
* ImmortalityImmorality: The king was willing to trade the souls of all his subjects in exchange for immortality.
* NothingButSkulls: Preview screenshots show floors littered with bones...including plenty of skulls.
* SoleSurvivor: It's entirely possible that Voss is the only one left alive in the kingdom.
* UndeadChild: Some of the enemies you face are ''zombie babies''.
* YourSoulIsMine: Whatever the king did, it tore the souls out of his subjects' inhabitants and placed them into the Heart of God.
