''Divina Online'' is an MMORPG developed by Gamania and hosted on Beanfun!, the same developers of Lucent Heart. The setting takes place in Norse Mythology, in which the main quests are based off of major events from it. The Player character wakes up in a ruined area named Sacred Springs after the war of the gods (known as the Ragnarok), and on exploring outside the town, found a girl who has amnesia, though she remembers her name as Clarisse. After returning to town, an unusual power overcomes her, and with the player close by, was able to warp back 50 years before the events of Ragnarok occurred. The player then sets on a quest to stop the events of Ragnarok in order to save the future.

Six months after the English release, the U.S. server of the game was shut down after [[ScrewedByTheNetwork Beanfun services were closed in the U.S]], [[NoExportForYou though servers still exist in Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and even in French. ]]

!!This game provides examples of:
* AccidentalPervert: A Tuesday daily has the player go to Crystal Lake to collect a rare species of tadpole. While doing this, you will encounter Clarisse or Claudia [[SkinnyDipping bathing in the waterfall/spring.]] Upon trying to sneak out, you will get caught and chased by an angry Clarisse/Claudia (who will fire strong balls of air at you) back to Sacred Springs. Upon completion of the quest, they appear again and will either turn you into a flower or stun you for 30 seconds.
** In the Fist of Fury Expansion, you may also end up peeping on Orwell, Protector of Sacred Springs in there as well. He'll still chase you out back to Sacred Springs, but he will mistake the peeper as an admirer, and randomly transform you into a frog mount for 30 seconds.
* AnimalMotifs: Odin is depicted in-game as a four armed rabbit with an emphasis on a one-sided mind [[spoiler:due to his negligence of Midguard, which is needed to prevent the collapse of the world. He decides to use all the energy of the Yggdrasil, which is located in Midguard, in order to stop Loki once and for all.]]
** Loki is also depicted as a cat, as they symbolize mischief.
* BigBad: Played with. [[spoiler: It is very arguable that either Loki or Odin started the events of the game, as both ended up causing trouble one way or another.]]
* BigNo: Claudia in sidekick form. For someone that treats the player character as disposable trash, she doesn't like the idea of you dying
** Upon Death
--> '''Claudia:''' No...NO! I forbid you from dying!//
--> '''Claudia:''' Please...Please don't go!//
** The Gloomy bunny does this too, but only in high favor
--> '''OH NO!''' Somebody Help!//
* BreakTheCutie: Happens to the player character as the side quests and main quests are completed.
** Also happens to Clarisse as she tries to keep her distance from the player [[spoiler: due to the problem that Loki threatened the safety of the player character if she does not come with him.]]
* CerebusSyndrome: The game takes a noticeable nose dive as the character levels after level 60.
* CuteMonsterGirl: Fox enemies, Angels, Lamias, you name it.
* DoomedHometown: The player wakes up in a dried version of Sacred Springs. It also acts as the tutorial phrase of the game.
* ''Foreshadowing'': When completing quests in fallen sky range, the player receives amnesia [[spoiler:from Clarisse in order to protect the player character from Loki]]. When the player completes the quest needed to get back their memory, they saw a vision in the future in which their hands are covered with the blood of a close friend. One expansion later, the final boss, Goddess of Time [[spoiler: is controlling Clarisse and Claudia, and in order to defeat it, both of them must die. Of course, due to the frequent use of amnesia spells in the game, the player does not realize it is them until the end of the battle.]]
* GameMaster: Surprisingly, the [=GMs=] play an essential role in the post-game of Divina by hosting various challenges for users that reach level cap, allowing them to do various activities and keep them from leaving the game.
* HugeGuyTinyGirl: Loki is a giant four armed rabbit and his wife, Freyja, is about the height of a female adult.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Weapons in the game can get very...weird.
** Knights could wield swords, axes, chainsaws, food...
** Healers could wield kitchen utensils, candy as wands...
* InGameNovel: There's actually a lot of these in the game as quests are completed. They help explain the reason behind some of the enemies/heroes motives for their actions. They an also be lost as some [=NPCs=] ask for these books for a worthless item and exp. So it is not recommended to give them these books.
* InUniverseGameClock: Day switches to night every two hours. This has an effect on certain in-game events and what monsters appear before the Fist of Fury patch.
* LevelGrinding: Unfortunately needed in order to level up sub-classes.
* JokeItem: 100 ways to eat an apple, which tells....well, ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin. Created by Loki
* [[spoiler: KillTheGod: The Player character becomes some variation of this halfway in the game. Though it was not stated in the main quest, only those of a mixed blood have the ability to kill a god. This is played straight when you challenge Odin in a dungeon. Twice.]]
* KilledOffForReal: When bosses in final dungeons (Ragnarok, Tree of Life, etc) are killed, they appear to be killed off for real, as restarting the dungeon with that character does not revive them. However, this is subverted, as players will have to wait 24 hours for the boss to respawn.
* MacrossMissileMassacre: Machinist players go from using the double shot skill to firing five missiles onto a single target in one click.
** When transformed as Odin, attack animations occur five times per attack. Do the math, and the player is capable of firing [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill 25 missiles onto a target.]]
[[spoiler:* LukeIAmYourFather: One of the [=NPCs=] explain that Loki is the father of Clarisse. Many players, in spite of playing throughout the game, DidNotSeeThatComing ]]
* MyGodwhatHaveIDone:[[spoiler: As the player defeats the final boss of the Fist of Fury Expansion, Goddess of Time, they recover from their amnesia at that point and realized that they have just killed off their only friend and hope of returning to the present.]]
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: The player character proceeds to stop the Ragnarok by [[spoiler: killing the god they believe is responsible for it (Odin or Loki) and then killing Fenrir. Isn't that how the Ragnarok started in the first place?]]
* OverlyLongGag: The player receives amnesia quite a lot in the game. It was first played as drama in level 63, then occurs again at level 75, and again at level 85, and again at 100..
** This is eventually lampshaded by the player when he[=/=]she gets their memory back for the 7th time.
* PermanentlyMissableContent:
** One quest in the tutorial area can only be completed by grinding an enemy that drops the item to start the quest. If you leave the area without completing it, that quest is gone, and there is no way of getting it back.
** Occurs more often when players accidentally takes the wrong quest from Clarisse after they are finished with all other quests in the tutorial area. Not only will the other quest be permanently missable, you will also miss a chance to increase bag size by six.
* ShoutOut:
** Claudia's reason of being bad is very familiar to a [[Theatre/RichardIII certain king]] [[Creator/WilliamShakespeare described by a certain author]]...
** The First Expansion of the Game, Fists of Fury, was a complete shoutout to the Literature/JourneyToTheWest, as the player character interacts with Sun Wukong and his master. Note that the character also travels west upon going through the map's expansions...
* SlidingScaleOfVideoGameObjectives: Averted and subverted in the final Instance (Ragnarok) before the start of the first expansion. Players are asked to choose between a light core and a dark core. [[spoiler: The core will symbolize who you will fight in the Ragnarok Instance. Light Core fights Loki while Dark core fights Odin.]] However, players are able to come back and choose another after the instance ends.
* SplitPersonality: Clarisse has an alternate ego, Claudia, who claims to be the complete opposite of Clarisse. [[spoiler: This is due to the problem that Clarisse places all of her guilt and misery onto Claudia that she takes the attitude of a major Tsundere.]]
* SugarApocalypse: The game starts as this, and by about level 75, the main story ends in this, too.
* {{Tsundere}}: Claudia has a major Tsun problem towards the players. She even shocks and stuns the player upon completing her quests. However, she does seem to worry about the player character on occasion.
** The "dere" is further reinforced when she is a sidekick at max favor.
** The Gloomy Bunny is also described with a Tsundere personality in the original version of the game.
** The Purrincess sidekick (a cat) is even more of a tsundere at low favor, bossing the player around and thinking that the player is no more than a meat shield. On high favor [[InterspeciesRomance her dialogue changes accordingly, even higher than that of Claudia]].
* UnexpectedGameplayChange: Player characters can switch classes at level 30 quickly to one of five other classes. Although only one can be chosen, it is different from the class change of Videogame/EdenEternal because the player is allowed to switch during battle mode.
** On a Thursday daily, an NPC talks about the troubles of being an NPC, but then lampshades what you are doing is a typical behavior of a player. Shen then turns YOU into an NPC and you will be forced to talk to various Players A, B, C, or D, who will then treat you like an NPC (spamming left click, not reading dialogue, etc.) Eventually, you will bump into an NPC that will actually thank you or argue about why they don't care about [=NPCs=], which would normally allow you to complete the quest.
** The classes act as two completely different characters, so whenever the character switch classes, the HP/MP will switch to that class. Commonly used as a life-saving technique.
* VirtualPaperDoll: The game has thousands of costume pieces in the game, many of which can be found for FREE. That will lead to a lot of custom costumes.
* VirtualPet: As a starter sidekick, you can choose between a Sweet Mouse, or a Gloomy Bunny.
** With the expansion, you could have Clarisse or Claudia as sidekicks.
*** Which then expands into other [[OlympusMons gods, angels, archangels, demons, devils, ]] [[MiniMecha even mechas...]]
