''Devil’s Dare'' is {{Retraux}} BeatEmUp fighter, created in 2014 by a Singaporean developer Secret Base. In 2018, it received an UpdatedRerelease named ''Streets of Red: Devil's Dare Deluxe'', which was free for the owners of the original. It added a couple of hidden characters, various new enemies, and changed out Kingston's normal berserker helmet/axe for a mix of Arthur's armor and a Shovel. The updated version was ported to Platform/Playstation4 and Platform/NintendoSwitch.

It is about a group of four nerds who have attended a pop culture convention when suddenly a zombie virus has been released and turned everyone else into different kinds of zombies. Luckily, all of them are ready to rise up to the challenge, and because they have somehow managed to turn into Expies of their favourite heroes, they also have a chance to come out of there alive. There are only four stages, which can be tackled in any order. Every succeeding stage will always be longer and more difficult, and running out of lives requires you to purchase continues. The game can be played alone, or in co-op with up to four players.

!! This game provides examples of the following tropes:
* OneUp: The Soul Tokens, which give an extra life without having to buy far more expensive continues.
* AbsurdlySpaciousSewer: One of the four stages is a sewer that fits the bill.
* TheBerserker: Kingston fights as one, as he’s light on defensive skills and heavy on attack and area-of-effect abilities.
* ActionGirl: One the starting characters, Queenie, is certainly one, although whereas other characters fight regularly, she uses a MiniMecha suit.
* ExcusePlot: The summary above is about as it deep as it gets. Now, go out and fight, and try not to die too quickly.
* {{Expy}}: Many. The character of Axel, who uses a sword and has a shield on his back emblazoned with a [[Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda Triforce]] stands out the most.
* InvisibleWall: They appear around each screen, and only disappear once you defeat all of the enemies.
* JackOfAllTrades: Axel is the most balanced of the four characters, and is similarly good at attack and defence.
* NintendoHard: Not only is the gameplay itself very difficult, but the game will actually delete your save once you run out of points to continue playing, forcing you to start all over again.
* {{Retraux}}: The game was created with a clear desire to emulate the arcade beat-em-ups as closely as possible, with the chiptune soundtrack.
* ShoutOut: Almost to the point of ReferenceOverdosed. For instance, one of the bosses is Franchise/{{Alien}}. Another is [[Franchise/FridayThe13th Jason]], in a level called Crystal Lake Camp.
* SpiritualSuccessor: To the developer’s previous game, ''VideoGame/{{Bitejacker}}''. In fact, many of the enemy models have been re-used from it.
