''Dark Elf Historia'' is an HGame RPG by Creator/ONEONE1. It was initially released internationally (as simply ''Dark Elf'') on August 3, 2017, with help from Creator/SakuraGame, but in February 2022, an agreement was made to stop the distribution of this version of the game. In early 2024, a revised translation was released through Platform/{{Steam}} by Shiravune, under its original title.

In the war-torn land of Orocu, dark elf Fraylia tries to make a living as a mercenary to support herself and her adopted little brother Ruse. Unfortunately, non-humans are discriminated against, and so Fraylia's employment options involve either dangerous or degrading work. Precisely how dangerous and degrading depends on the player's decisions.
----
!!This game contains examples of:
* AndIMustScream:
** Failing to kill [[spoiler:the Futanian Tribe Elder]] results in [[spoiler:Fraylia being magically embedded in a wall as a punishment]].
** In the "Good Slave" ending, [[spoiler:women throughout Orocu have their bodies magically altered so that they can spend the rest of their lives bearing children for demons]].
* BabiesEverAfter: In the "Chaste" ending, [[spoiler:Fraylia realizes that she is in love with Ruse and the two consummate their relationship and move out to the country, where Fraylia becomes pregnant with Ruse's child.]]
* BadEnding: The "Slave" endings are both pretty soul-crushing. If Fraylia loses [[spoiler:to the Guild President]], then she [[spoiler:spends the rest of her life imprisoned in Kirtia, forced to bear children for orcs, and as an added kicker, one of her trysts is witnessed by Ruse, thus destroying their relationship forever]]. If she ''defeats'' [[spoiler:the Guild President]], on the other hand, [[spoiler:Orocu goes to shit, millions of women are forced into sexual slavery, and Ruse is forced to have sex with Fraylia and then gets taken away to some unknown but probably horrible fate.]]
* BadFuture: On the "Slave" path, [[spoiler:defeating the Guild President removes the last obstacle to the King's plan to unleash demons on Orocu. Most of the country's men are wiped out, and women are spared only as long as they can bear children for demons]].
* BeginWithAFinisher: Vanessa usually uses all of her strongest magical attacks first, for all the good it does -- by the time you fight her, you're likely to be too powerful for her to be defeated by a handful of magical attacks.
* BigBad: Grimm, an evil demon with designs on destroying Orocu.
* BigSisterInstinct: Fraylia is fiercely protective of her adopted little brother Ruse.
* BlindIdiotTranslation: It's very obvious that the original English translation by Sakura Game was done by someone with a very poor grasp of the language. Grammar and spelling errors abound, and the names of characters and things are often inconsistent.
* BreakTheCutie: One of the missions on the "Slave" career path is to capture Vanessa for TheConspiracy. [[spoiler:If she is captured, she is taken to Kiltia and broken, then spends the rest of her life bearing demonic children.]]
* BreakTheHaughty: If Fraylia [[spoiler:loses to Timose, the boss of the Wings of Midnight, she is brutally raped, and this is her earliest entry to the "Sinner" path]].
* BunnyEarsLawyer: If Fraylia takes the "Sinner" path to extremes, some of her fellow Guild members will begin wondering why the hell the Guild still employs her, at which point the President will point out that nobody else was taking on the jobs that Fraylia took on.
* CallAPegasusAHippogriff: Due to the poor translation, the Sakura Game version used the word "orc" to describe a wide variety of monsters, which can create confusion with weapons or skills that supposedly give you a special damage bonus against "orcs". The most egregious case of this trope in the game is "Danny the Orc", who is very clearly supposed to be a werewolf.
* CelibateHero: On the "Virgin" path, Fraylia reacts with hostility towards anything having to do with sex.
* ChainmailBikini: Fraylia's normal outfit consists of a breastplate, thong, gauntlets, and boots.
* ConvenientlyAnOrphan: Ruse lost both of his parents in a monster attack, allowing Fraylia to adopt him with few problems.
* CrapsackWorld: Orocu is a very racist and sexist country where poverty is rampant, dangerous monsters prowl every cave, temple, and forest, and [[spoiler:the king has been possessed by a demon]].
* DefiledForever: Once Fraylia starts on the "Sinner" path, monsters will start attacking her more aggressively and civilians will openly harass her.
* DirtyOldMan: [[spoiler:The Terma Village elders gang-rape one poor girl every year.]]
* DownerEnding: If Fraylia saves the world with a "Sinner" reputation, [[spoiler:she spends the rest of her life in prison for killing the king, never mind that he was actually a demon in disguise. Meanwhile, Ruse spends the rest of his life waiting for his "big sister" to come home, having no idea of what's happened to her.]]
* EldritchAbomination: In the Dark Elf universe, using too much dark magic gradually turns men into monsters. [[spoiler:This is what happens to Timose the second time Fraylia encounters him.]]
* ExcusePlot: The plot, such as it is, mainly exists to create opportunities for the player to either have Fraylia survive with her virtue intact, or push her down to increasing levels of depravity.
* ExtremeOmnisexual: Minor character Grovia is determined to have sex with every manner of non-human woman possible.
* FantasticRacism: Non-humans are discriminated against throughout Orocu, and pretty much the only place they can live with any modicum of safety is Rand City.
* ForcedToWatch: In either of the "Slave" endings, [[spoiler:Ruse]] is forced to witness [[spoiler:Fraylia having sex]].
* ForgetsToEat: In the "Virgin" ending, [[spoiler:Ruse grows up to be a diligent researcher, but with no romantic life to speak of, he devotes all of his time to his work, and Fraylia has to remind him to eat and sleep.]]
* FullFrontalAssault: On the "Slave" path, Fraylia undertakes several missions equipped with only a sword and a collar. She eventually gets her armor back, but also gains the option to disrobe at will.
* GoingCommando: One thing that's not included in the pub uniform is underwear, much to Fraylia's horror.
* GroinAttack: The "good" ending for the Terma Village quest sees Fraylia castrating the village elder.
* GuideDangIt: The game never gives an indication of how to access the naughtier parts, and thus it is possible to play through the game without encountering them up until your mission to light the fire at the temple, when the game starts throwing the "adult" monsters into battle with you.
* HealthcareMotivation: If Fraylia makes it past Danny the Orc while still on the "normal" path, Ruse falls ill, and she is forced to suspend her questing career to go find a cure for his disease.
* HeelRealization: Towards the end of the "Slave" path, [[spoiler:Fraylia starts to realize that all the missions she's undertaking for Kiltia are actually pushing Orocu closer to war]].
* HGame: The game is an H-Game, although actually activating the "H" parts requires the player to deliberately lose one of the earliest boss fights.
* HopeSpot: Defeating [[spoiler:Grimm]] [[LoadBearingBoss causes his lair to collapse]]. If Fraylia has a good reputation at the end, [[spoiler:she is saved at the last minute by the President and goes on to have a happy ending]]. If she has a ''bad'' reputation, [[spoiler:she survives... and then spends the rest of her life in prison as a scapegoat for the king's death]].
* ImpossibleHourglassFigure: On the Steam store page, Fraylia's measurements are listed as B90 (G cup), W57, H95.
* InformedAttribute: Fraylia is called a "dark elf" and all of the narration and dialogue insists that she has unusually dark skin, but the actual art makes her look like a white woman with a slight tan, and the "normal" elves that we see in the game only look marginally whiter.
* JustFollowingOrders: One of the "Slave" missions requires Fraylia to track down and kill the leader of the peaceful Futanian tribe. Fraylia notes that there is little strategic point in attacking the Futanians, but disobeying orders won't end well for her. [[spoiler:And deliberately losing accomplishes nothing; if Fraylia actually fails to kill the Futanian Elder, then Simon shows up and kills the elder anyway.]]
* JustInTime: If Fraylia [[spoiler:defeats Grimm while still a virgin, the Guild President will intervene to pull her out of Grimm's collapsing dimension]].
* KickTheDog: In the "Good Slave" ending, Fraylia's "reward" for [[spoiler:bringing about the destruction of Orocu]] is [[spoiler:having sex with Ruse and then watching as he's taken away, possibly to be executed]].
* LieBackAndThinkOfEngland: On the "Slave" path, Fraylia is repeatedly pimped out to various people on the pretense of improving Orocu's diplomatic standing.
* MadScientist: Dr. Isaac is Orocu's premier expert in the field of robots. Among his theories is that robots should be able to get erections.
* MagicalGirl: Vanessa, the Guild's top mage, is said to be the most powerful mage in Orocu.
* TheMenInBlack: Marcus runs Orocu's spy network and Kiltia prison, whose inmates are often forced to undertake missions that are too sensitive for the normal guild.
* MoralityPet: Ruse serves as Fraylia's main reason for trying to stay on the straight and narrow path.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Ruse is actually close to the same age as Fraylia, but looks and acts much younger as a result of the trauma and malnutrition that he suffered after his parents died.
* OmniscientCouncilOfVagueness: The game has several scenes showing characters conferring with each other.
* OppressedMinorityVeteran: Freylia came to Orocu during the GreatOffscreenWar, where she served as a mercenary in Orocu's army. After the war, the government stiffed her because she was a dark elf, and, lacking the money to return home, she became a permanent member of Orocu's immigrant underclass, eking out a living by undertaking dangerous and potentially degrading jobs.
* OutWithABang: The "Estrus Sex" ability allows Fraylia to potentially kill enemies with sex.
* PrisonRape: Failing certain missions results in Fraylia being framed for a crime (usually a crime she was hired to prevent in the first place) and getting sent to Kiltia, a secret prison. One of the first things that happens to her there is being forced to share a cell with a whole bunch of men, with precisely the results you'd expect. A cursory look around the prison shows that there are other prisoners forced to suffer this. [[spoiler:And one of the bad endings has her sentenced to prison for murdering the king.]]
* RapeLeadsToInsanity: Losing multiple boss battles causes Fraylia's sanity to deteriorate.
* ReluctantFanserviceGirl: Once she is started on the "Sinner" path, Fraylia starts getting offers for jobs requiring varying states of undress, and, having been rather prudish up to that point, is reluctant to bare all.
* RoyallyScrewedUp: [[spoiler:The king of Orocu has been possessed by a demon.]]
* TheScapegoat: [[spoiler:One of the downer endings has Fraylia forced to take the fall for the death of the king, despite the fact that he was a demon.]]
* SenselessSacrifice: [[spoiler:Trying to throw the fight with the Futanian Tribal Elder won't result in her being spared; If Fraylia fails to kill her, Simon steps in and finishes the job.]]
* ShamefulStrip: On the "Slave" path, Fraylia has to spend several missions fighting in the nude.
* SchmuckBait: This game has at least two, although they're both so obvious that those who stumble into them probably do so deliberately.
** In Rand City, there is a warehouse near the docks that's off-limits for most of the game, but which you are warned to avoid. Eventually, it becomes possible to enter it at night, where you find drug paraphernalia. Enter it again later on, and you find bandits hanging around. And if you actually decide to approach them, they jump you.
** In Kirtia, there is a hot spring, and yet the young women nearby say that they won't go anywhere near it because it's ''coed'' and this is a prison full of rapists. Needless to say, entering the hot spring results in Fraylia getting jumped.
* SelfCensoredRelease: The original publishers, Sakura Game, released a censored version for Steam. Naturally, one of the most common threads on the game's discussion page is how to patch the censored content back in.
* ShipperOnDeck: In the "Virgin" ending, [[spoiler:Vanessa]] tries to push [[spoiler:Fraylia and Ruse]] to consummate their relationship.
* SlutShaming:
** If Fraylia goes down the "Sinner" path, other people will treat her as promiscuous.
** In Terma Village, you can overhear two ladies gossiping about the supposed promiscuity of Linda, who has been taken to be sacrificed.
* SoapOperaDisease: If you manage to make it through the quest to defeat Danny the Orc without any major drama, then Ruse suddenly comes down with "Neysterbey Syndrome", which will kill him unless Fraylia retrieves a cure from a nearby mountain.
* {{Stripperiffic}}: Fraylia's normal outfit consists of ChainmailBikini. If that's not racy enough, if she takes the job at the pub, she is required to wear a uniform that leaves very little to the imagination.
* TownWithADarkSecret: Terma Village plays with this. They're completely open about the fact that they sacrifice young women every year, ostensibly to please their barbaric god. What they're not telling people is that [[spoiler:the village elders are raping those young women and then using the "sacrifices" as a pretense to kill them so that they don't talk.]]
* UngratefulBastard:
** In the opening scene, Fraylia complains bitterly that she came to Orocu during the World War because dark elves were valuable to the human-led government, but now that the war is over, she's an outcast.
-->"I, as a Dark Elf, was treated like treasure during the war, and got dumped like garbage after."
** If you [[spoiler:kill Grimm while holding a reputation as a "Sinner"]], the Guild [[spoiler:disavows Fraylia's activities, and thus she is blamed for the death of the king and spends the rest of her life in a secret prison]].
* VaguenessIsComing: Throughout the game, there are rumors that Orocu is going to war.
* VideoGameCrueltyPotential:
** Once Fraylia is put on the "Sinner" path, the player has the choice of having her take progressively more degrading jobs and make increasingly poor decisions. If her reputation gets bad enough, [[spoiler:she gets disavowed by the Guild and ends up in prison, even if she happens to save Orocu in the process]].
** If you finish the game and then have your records carried over to a new playthrough, Fraylia gains the "Suicide Bomb" attack, allowing the player to instantly throw a fight and skip ahead to the consequences.
* VideoGamePerversityPotential: You actively have to ''work'' at screwing up enough to activate the "Sinner" storyline, but once you do, things get pretty far out there.
* YetAnotherStupidDeath: In the later chapters, it becomes possible to enter the warehouse down by the docks at night. This is, of course, the same warehouse that the game repeatedly warns you to stay away from. Entering it and trying to accost the robbers holed up inside results in Fraylia being drugged and gang-raped. There is no material benefit to actually entering the warehouse.
