Amusingly enough, this means there's likely a city on The Grid named Mercury
** Beck and Cyrus are named after the Cyrus-Beck algorithm which serves for cutting lines going out of a rectangular space.
** Parts of the fandom who work in real-world computer repair have pointed out that Cyrus's OmnicidalManiac plan is exactly what you do with a hard drive that's too corrupted to save and that the whole Dyson-Tron rivalry is very much like what happens if you have two incompatible pieces of security software on a system.
* LeftHanging: The show was cancelled by Disney shortly after the airing of its BolivianArmyEnding finale in 2013. To date (2023), the fates of its main characters have remained unknown.

* ScrewedByTheNetwork: Seven episodes in, it suddenly got postponed to October. The return lasted three episodes, just long enough to get the two-parter out of the way, before disappearing from the lineup again until December, where it got moved to midnight on Mondays. Short of not being aired at all, you cannot get much more screwed than that.
* ShoutOut: The Jolly Tricksters disguise (bowler hats and a painted-on SlasherSmile) may be invoking Film/AClockworkOrange. The composer who did the music for Film/AClockworkOrange? Music/WendyCarlos, who also did the music for the 1982 .
