* ActingForTwo: Every character save for one or two was voiced by Singer.
* ColbertBump: The show's appearance as Website/{{SCP|Foundation}}[[https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2835 -2835]][[note]]"Constructive Criticism"[[/note]] served to bring more attention to the show.
* CopiouslyCreditedCreator: Series creator Sam Singer supposedly served as the writer, producer, director, animator, musician, editor, and sole voice actor. But due to the short amount of information behind ''Paddy'' (there are no credits whatsoever in the cartoons themselves outside of a "Medallion Productions" credit at the end), it's unknown how much involvement he truly had in production.
* DescendedCreator: Singer provided the voice of Paddy Pelican along with the rest of the show's characters.
* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: The series hasn't been on television for decades. While six episodes are known to exist, it's not clear if that's all that was made (see below).
* MissingEpisode: According to the "TV Film Series in Production Since April 1" [[https://books.google.ca/books?id=4h4EAAAAMBAJ&pg=PA8&dq=paddy-the-pelican&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj0po6Ug9PcAhXErVkKHZ4hAF4Q6AEIKzAB#v=onepage list]] in the June 19, 1954 issue of ''Billboard'', 65 episodes were planned. Only six are known to exist. The other 59 were either never produced, or are lost.
* NoBudget: The existing episodes suggest that Singer couldn't afford animation cels, let alone a cast or crew, with the footage consisting of looping pencil tests that were dubbed over by Singer rather than being synced to pre-recorded dialogue.
* UncreditedRole: At least one or two characters were voiced by an actress whose name has never been revealed (and most likely never will).
