Context Trivia / FlavioTheGoat

Go To

1* FakeNationality: The American Creator/RobPaulsen as Flavio, an Italian goat.
2* OneEpisodeWonder: It premiered on {{Creator/Nicktoons}} via ''WesternAnimation/RandomCartoons'', and nothing more.
3* TheOtherDarrin: In the animatic uploaded by Mike Milo, Flavio has a completely different voice. This is because his creator was supposed to voice him. In the end, Creator/RobPaulsen was hired to do his voice.
4* WhatCouldHaveBeen:
5** Mike Milo originally intended to voice Flavio and even recorded for the character, but recast the role after the animation came back at the suggestion of himself and Fred Seibert as he felt his performance didn't suit the returned animation and also believed it was a bit stereotypical. Rob Paulsen was chosen from the auditions, and he ADR'd his lines for the short, supposedly doing an impression of Milo's 'Flavio' voice. Additional actors that auditioned for the role include Creator/WillFriedle, Creator/RichardStevenHorvitz, Creator/BenDiskin, JP Manoux, Dominic Catrambone, Creator/MichaelKelly, Creator/JamesArnoldTaylor, Creator/BobWest, Creator/DavidKaufman, and Creator/VinceCorazza.
6** Flavio was also pitched as a series to Nickelodeon but they turned it down in favor of WesternAnimation/FanboyAndChumChum because they believed the concept was too much like WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants.
7** A demo for a [[TitleThemeTune theme song]] was written, complete with music and lyrics, but it ended up never being used due to the pilot not getting greenlit. You can listen to it [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4ns6vR8uJM here]].
