2	** Creator/StephenKing appears as a truck driver in "The Hitchhiker" segment.
3	** King's personal secretary, Shirley Sonderegger, has a cameo as Mrs. Cavanaugh in "Old Chief Wood'nhead" (although you don't see her face).
4	** Stephen King's ''house'' even has a cameo in the animated wraparound segment!
5	* FakeMixedRace: Sam Whitemoon is intended to be of mixed race. He is played by Creator/HoltMcCallany, a non-native actor of Irish ancestry.
6	* FatalMethodActing: Thankfully averted for Daniel Beer, who played Randy in "the Raft". He actually got a bad case of hypothermia during filming; it was so bad that his skin turned green! He was hospitalized, made a full recovery and was able to finish filming the segment.

8	** This was going to have the same number of stories as its predecessor but due to budget constraints had to cut them down to three. The unmade segments were:
9	*** A zombies-and-bowling tale called ''Pinfall''[[note]]The story is about two bowling teams that get into a snuffle when one of the teams kills the other for the prize money resulting in the dead team coming back to life to take revenge.[[/note]], based on an unpublished short by King. Years later, ''Pinfall'' is adapted into a graphic novel and included as a bonus in a special edition Blu-ray set released by Arrow Video.
10	*** ''The Cat from Hell''[[note]]The story is about this rich old man who is being haunted by a demonic cat who is trying to kill him. So he hires a hit man to kill the cat to horrifying results.[[/note]], a published story that was later adapted by Romero for ''Film/TalesFromTheDarksideTheMovie''.
11	** Creator/BarbaraEden (yes, THAT [[Series/IDreamOfJeannie Barbara Eden]]) was originally going to play the hit & run driver in "The Hitchhiker" but ultimately dropped out.
