* AlternativeForeignThemeSong: A unique case in Singapore; Because the Chinese dub aired first with its theme song Bao Lie Xuan Feng"Explosive Whirlwind" by cantopop singer Aaron Kwok becoming explosively popular locally, the imported English dub had its intro spliced with/replaced by the Chinese dub theme song for Season 1. Subsequent seasons of the English dub however dropped this in favour of retaining the original English intro.
* ChannelHop: In America, the 3 original series aired on ABC Family and then Jetix, but the V-Force movie aired on Creator/CartoonNetwork, who would later become the franchise's new home in America until Anime/BeybladeBurst.
* ChildrenVoicingChildren: The English dub predominantly features the main cast voiced by similarly aged children.
* CrossDressingVoices: The BBA members are all voiced by women in the Japanese version. Also Daichi in the English dub.
* GodCreatedCanonForeigner:
** Gordo, the Children of the Four Holy Beasts of Darkness, and the Justice 5 are creations by Takao Aoki, but not part of the manga storyline and in several occasions adjusted by the animation teams. The non-possessed Children were aged down as the script was adjusted and somewhere along the road the fifth member was replaced for Daichi's inclusion. Of the Justice 5, Garland and Ming-Ming got a RaceLift, and Brooklyn got redesigned from Zeo-but-with-spiky-hair to what he ended up as.
** Ayaka is Aoki's creation and unquestionably part of his manga storyline, but she is technically not canon due to not appearing in any Takara Tomy- or Hasbro-approved work of fiction.
* FollowTheLeader: The dub team tried to match that of : up-tempo battle tracks, a previously-on segment, and regular use of EnemyScan.
* KidsMealToy: To coincide with the show's American release, Burger King would release four toys consisting of a figurine and their corresponding Beyblade. The figurines were of Tyson, Kai, Ray and Maria.
* TheOtherDarrin: The LATAM Spanish dub of Beyblade: The Movie-Fierce Battle used a different voice cast than in the series.

** On his website, Takao Aoki shares various details about the production of the manga and the anime.
*** Various color schemes were altered. Notable examples are the mention of Michael's and Emily's red and pink hair, which did make it into one video game before being changed.
*** The Saint Shields' bit-beasts were switched around. Vanishing Moot was designed for Ozma, but it was deemed unfit for him so Flash Leopard was created. Yusuf was supposed to be the owner of Sharkrash, which is why his hair resembles a shark fin. Sharkrash, then, was passed on to Mariam, who was originally going to wield Wildfox, the fenec-type bit-beast that in the anime got wielded by Foxy. Her hightail was meant to evoke a fox's tail. Dunga always had Voltic Ape.
*** Although one might think the anime changed Zeo's backstory from semi-secretly being Leon to secretly being ZO, this is untrue. Zeo was always meant to be a robot, but it was changed for the manga because Aoki got some unfavorable feedback.
*** Gordo was originally going to be named "Garuda". He still is in the episode summaries on the official Japanese V-Force website.
*** Episodes 21-27 feature an ItsAllUpstairsFromHere plot in which the Bladebreakers fight Team Psykick on each level. The initial idea was for the Bladebreakers to fight other bladers on each level before facing the elite team upstairs. Aoki has only shared his favorite "two" scrapped characters: Kurio, a Ventriloquism ventriloquist who'd wield a spider-type bit-beast that in the anime got wielded by Net, and a trio of pierrots who'd have no bit-beasts.
*** The above explains the design origins of the fennec and spider bit-beasts extracted from the rock by Doctor K, which in turn raises questions for the kamaitachi, tyrannosaurus, the kraken, and the mantis. It follows they were for scrapped bladers too, possibly more meant for the tower.
*** The fact that regular bit-beasts were designed for the tower also means something vastly changed from concept to finished product. Because in the anime, the cyber bit-beasts were created to get on equal footing with the Bladebreakers and it wasn't until that didn't suffice that Zagart's troops tried to work with natural bit-beasts. By the looks of it, the original idea was for Zagart's troops to make use of both types of bit-beasts simultaneously.
*** There are many differences between the manga version and the movie version of Fierce Battle. The Shadow Bladers start out as bladers and teens rather than little children who don't blade, Hitoshi is with the Bladebreakers instead of Keiko, the Bladebreakers befriended the Shadow Bladers before they were possessed, etc. In addition, the website shows that a counterpart for Daichi was considered before it became Daichi himself who got brainwashed into joining the Shadow Bladers.
