''SD Sengokuden Bushin Kourin Hen'' (''SD戦国伝 武神降臨編'') is a subline of Bandai's ''Franchise/SDGundam'' franchise.

The rising popularity of ''Toys/BBSenshiSangokuden'' led to Bandai doing the same thing with another oft-fictionalised era of history, Japan's own [[UsefulNotes/SengokuJidai Warring States period]]. Unlike ''Sangokuden'', the model line is not supported by a comic or any specific storyline, but runs entirely on recreating known samurai, based on remolding earlier ''SD Gundams BB Senshi'' models ''and'' inspiring them after the character designs from the ''VideoGame/SamuraiWarriors'' games on top of that.

The models released from this line are:

* UsefulNotes/TakedaShingen Gundam: Reissued from [[Manga/SDGundamForceEmakiMusharetsuden Rekka Musha Gundam]].
* [[UsefulNotes/UesugiKenshin Kenshin Uesugi]] Gundam: Reissued from [[Manga/SDGundamForceEmakiMusharetsuden Shippu Kengo Z]].
* Kanetsugu Naoe Gundam: Reissued from [[Manga/SDGundamForceEmakiMusharetsuden Tensho Karyudo Mk-II]].
* UsefulNotes/DateMasamune Gundam: Reissued from [[Manga/SDGundamForceEmakiMusharetsuden Onmitsu Ninja Noomaru]].
* UsefulNotes/SanadaYukimura Gundam: Reissued from [[Manga/SDGundamForceEmakiMusharetsuden Ryujin Doshi Nu]].
* UsefulNotes/OdaNobunaga Gundam: Reissued from [[Anime/GundamEvolve Gundam Evolve's]] version of [[Toys/SDSengokudenMushaShichininShuHen Gundam Daishogun]].
* UsefulNotes/ToyotomiHideyoshi Gundam: Reissued from Sennari Daishogun, the 100th model in the ''SD Gundam BB Senshi'' series.
* UsefulNotes/TokugawaIeyasu Gundam: Reissued from First Gundam Daishogun from ''Musha Senki Hakari no Hengen Hen''.

!!''SD Sengokuden Bushin Kourin Hen'' has examples of:

* {{BFG}}: Yes folks, samurais with rifles.
* {{BFS}}: Most of the characters wield giant-ass [[KatanasAreJustBetter katanas]].
%%* BlingOfWar
* CombiningMecha: Kenshin Uesugi Gundam and Tokugawa Ieyasu Gundam can ''fuse with their horses'', with Kenshin even taking up a [[OurCentaursAreDifferent Centaur form]] similar to [[Anime/SDGundamGaiden Knight Gundam]]!
* CoolHorse: Tokugawa Ieyasu Gundam has a pretty bulky one, and he can even fuse with it to become larger.
* CoolShades: Kanetsugu Naoe Gundam can shift a crimson visor down from his helmet.
%%* EverythingsBetterWithSamurai: Duh.
* EyepatchOfPower: Date Masamune Gundam has a eyepatch on his left eye, and he's based on one of the most powerful daimyo in Japanese history. You bet it makes him look cooler!
* FashionableAsymmetry: Date Masamune Gundam wears armor that colored white on the right and blue on the left. Most of his body is colored blue, except for his right arm and leg, which are white like his head.
* FuumaShuriken: Date Masamune Gundam uses a giant one that's actually [[BifurcatedWeapon water-walking sandals holding together a sheathed sword, a flail, a claw and a rifle]].
* {{Homage}}: While the characters are based on figures from the Warring States period, there designs make them most similar to the figure's depictions in the ''VideoGame/SamuraiWarriors'' series by Creator/KoeiTecmo.
%%* JidaiGeki:
* {{Mooks}}: Each model comes with a footsoldier based on the [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam Zaku I or Ball]].
* ReusedCharacterDesign: Most of the models in this series are reissues of models for ''Manga/SDGundamForceEmakiMusharetsuden''. The exceptions are Toyotomi Hideyoshi Gundam, Tokugawa Ieyasu Gundam, and Oda Nobunaga Gundam, the former two being reissues of two different models unrelated to ''Emaki Musharetsuden'' or even each other, while the latter reuses the model of [[Anime/GundamEvolve Gundam Evolve's]] version of [[Toys/SDSengokudenMushaShichininShuHen Gundam Daishogun]].
