6	Introduced in 2015 as part of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the [[Ride/DisneyThemeParks Magic]] [[Ride/WaltDisneyWorld Kingdom]] near Orlando, the ''Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular'' is a musical revue starring the Sanderson Sisters, of ''Film/HocusPocus'' (1993) fame. Revived by mystical power of the Magic Kingdom, the Sanderson Sisters have come to run amok[[note]]amok amok amok amok![[/note]] for one All Hallow's Eve. But fortunately for Disney World's many underaged guests, the Sanderson Sisters aren't looking to [[PoweredByAForsakenChild drain anyone's life force]] this time. Instead, they're looking to create a magical "party potion" that will cast a sinisterly festive spell over the entire Magic Kingdom! But to succeed, they'll need help from some of the most dastardly characters from the Disney canon.

9	* AffablyEvil: While the Sanderson Sisters maintain their sinister qualities from the film, and draw upon the aid of multiple Disney Villains, their motives are far more benign than in the source material; their goal is only to throw the [[ItsTheBestWhateverEver most villainous Halloween party ever]], and all their potion does is trigger some fireworks and cause some dramatic lighting effects on Cinderella castle during the final musical number.
10	* AlternateContinuity: Despite the release of ''Film/HocusPocus2'' in 2022, the show's script hasn't been changed to mention its events. As of 2023, the Sandersons still refer to the original film's Halloween as the time when they "last returned" to earth.
11	* AltoVillainess: Winnie, much like in the film. The actress who plays her can channel a disturbingly good Bette Midler.

16	* ContinuityNod: The show opens with the Sanderson Sisters referencing the end of the movie, even specifying the number of years since its release.
17	* CrazyPrepared: On the off chance that it rains during the night of a performance, a much shorter version of the show will play out instead, similar to "A Taste of Theatre/{{Fantasmic}}". In this version, Winnie and her sisters reassure the crowd that they can still throw the big party regardless of the "burning rain of death", and invite all the villains onstage for the big "I Put a Spell on You" number.

This is most obvious during the finale number, "I Put a Spell on You", in which Winnie almost perfectly recreates the choreography from the film, down to the ThinkingTic she does while watching the band in the first place.
