However when he catches as much as a wiff of his former neo-nazi "brothers" he becomes extremely tense and uses any chance to confront and take them down. He aknowledges that he has committed many atrocities in the name of his "brothers" and wishes to right the wrongs of his past by eliminating the organisation. Symbolically, whenever he is wounded trying to save lives, the wound destroys one of the tattoos indicating his slow but steady road to redemption
