* How "Bad Po" treats Mr. Ping.
* Po's depression after his failure leads to everyone getting kicked out of the Jade Palace in "Sight For Sore Eyes".
** How the Furious Five reacted to Po messing up and getting them all kicked out was also able to swiftly bring tears about. And Tigress' tone when she [[KickTheDog blames Po]]...that's harsh.
* The {{Flashback}} to young Shifu training with Oogway, when he believed Oogway wanted nothing to do with him in favor of Po. Also, Po discovering that among the portraits in Shifu's room was [[AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther one of him and Po]]. The guilt over this is one of the things that sends him to bring Shifu back from his TenMinuteRetirement.
** Prior to that, there's Shifu's almost childish excitement upon hearing that Po's met "Oogway's Ghost"... only for that to come crashing down in a tumble of hurt confusion when he hears his old master doesn't wish to see him. And his eventual challenging of Po and trading kernels of Oogway's [[IceCreamKoan wisdom]] that builds up to:
-->'''Po:''' Master Shifu just can't accept that Oogway doesn't ''need him anymore''!
** And the lead-up to the {{Flashback}}, with Shifu trudging up to the peach blossom tree and speaking to Oogway, almost ''begging'' him to appear... Really, the whole episode is one tearjerker after another.
** When Po and Shifu learn that it was all a trick by Junjie, Po expresses his sadness as he thought he was following Oogway. Shifu explains that he knows how he feels.
-->'''Shifu:''' I understand, Po. I miss him more than anyone.
* "Owl Be Back" (where Fengheung premieres) has Po learning that the [[TheParagonAlwaysRebels strongest member would betray the team]] and everyone assuming he would eventually become evil. When he becomes consumed by worry, he heads off to the mountains to be isolated out of concern for his loved ones.
** The painful part is on how none of the Five stop him when he announces he's leaving. Even when he goes to ask if anyone will, just the look of their faces show they are ''genuinely afraid'' he will grow evil. Po's despair at this is heartbreaking.
* Tigress saying good-bye to Zan in "Kung Fu Daycare". Also the earlier moment when she tells him she'll never let him out of her sight again. And the flashback to her being left at Bao Gu by her parents, then playing checkers with Shifu. Really, the whole episode can be considered this for Tigress.
* In "Invitation Only", Po isn't invited to a banquet because of his bad manners. He reveals to Shifu that this isn't the first time it's happened and it all started because he threw up a bowl of sweet n' sour chowder when he was a kid. So, he would sneak into banquets and watch the whole thing while hiding in a pot.
* Tigress' reaction to Shifu's planned HeroicSacrifice in "Enter The Dragon". The fact he's her adoptive father makes it even harder to watch.
** In turn, her reaction to Po's DisneyDeath. She sounds on the verge of sobbing before he recovers, causing a SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment|s}} where she joyously glomps him.
** After Shifu discovers Po failed to evacuate the villagers after getting cocky, he gives him a harsh TheReasonYouSuckSpeech and exiles him.[[note]]In reality, this was a ShooTheDog tactic to protect Po from Ke-Pa due to possessing the hero's chi.[[/note]] Po sadly limps away with the villagers looking disgusted and his disillusioned fans throwing away their Po figures. To punctuate this, the Furious Five, who were initially just as exasperated with Po's screw-up, are rather taken aback by Shifu's lambasting and try to defend Po, clearly feeling sorry for him.
* The whole episode "The Master and the Panda" is full of this. Peng not only discovers that [[spoiler: his uncle Tai Lung was killed by Po]], but also that [[spoiler: his uncle had done so many terrible things that he needed to be stopped, and Po had to be the one to do it]], and gives up Kung Fu out of fear of being like him. It looks like it's getting better midway, with Peng coming back to help against an empowered Temutai, only for the power to possess ''him'' and drive him nuts, with only Po strong enough to stop him. [[spoiler: Peng points out that Po won't always be around to do that [[DownerEnding and leaves forever, swearing off Kung Fu so he won't become a second Tai Lung]]]].
** And Po trying so hard to reach out to Peng the whole time, even when he's angry as all get out or depressed.
* In "Present Tense", the resident GenkiGirl Xiao Nao is annoying Tigress with her constant enthusiasm for the Winter Festival. Finally, Tigress, who is in something of TheScrooge mode, explodes at her how she loathes the holiday because she has no family to celebrate with. Xiao Nao sadly laments that [[SadClown she doesn't have a family either, she just wanted to stay in the spirit of things]], leaving Tigress [[JerkassRealization remorseful]] and reflecting on how much [[FamilyOfChoice she treasures Shifu and the Five as her own unofficial family]]. [[spoiler: As it turns out, Xiao Nao is Sheng Xian's daughter, who Po has subsequently exonerated, letting the two reunite.]]
* In "A Thousand and Twenty Questions", Master Yao reveals that one of the things Tigress really wants to know, but is unwilling to ask, is if Shifu is proud of her.
** Another is why she is so angry all the time. Even Tigress seems to wonder why she is often aggressive.
** The reason Tigress didn't like the whole idea was because every time she asked a question when she was a kid, everyone at the orphanage would laugh at her because of how "stupid the question was".
* In "Crazy Little Ling called Love", we see how Po would react [[spoiler: if or even ''when'' Shifu would retire.]] He was flat out devastated by it and was struggling not to tell the others as per Shifu's request.
** Also, when explaining why to Po, Shifu looks so tired and haggard. The fact that he shows regret and exhaustion over the life he has led is pretty painful. He simply wants to find happiness and he took Po's words from when Ling first appeared more seriously than any of us thought.
* "Serpent's Tooth". Holy crap. First we see Viper, the [[NiceGirl nicest, sweetest, friendliest]] member of the Furious Five being shunned by the fearful villagers for being a snake because they're being terrorized by one. Although she brushes it off and tells Po it's okay, it's pretty clear she's hurt, especially when Po [[InnocentlyInsensitive keeps making it worse through poorly thought-out comments]]. Then we hear of Lord Fu-Xi, and how the once great hero lost his family thanks to prejudice at the hands of the people he fought to protect. Seeing how far Fu-Xi has fallen in his bitterness, Viper having to go off and fight someone she considers a hero, and her uncertainty in the face of his points [[spoiler: even if she was acting]], seeing as Po isn't exactly [[VillainHasAPoint proving him wrong]], is heartbreaking. Finally, [[spoiler: Fu-Xi's shock and hurt when Viper reveals she was never on his side in the first place]]. Heck, just seeing Viper lashing out and being unpleasant is pretty upsetting considering how kind she normally is.
* "A Tigress Tale" has Tigress decide to leave the Jade Palace to train under Mugan, a master of another temple. When Po questions her, Tigress lashes out at him verbally, blaming him for the discipline of the Jade Palace going downhill thanks to his silliness and lack of commitment.
** Tigress, dealing with her cruel taskmaster Mugan, takes out an action figure Po had made of himself for her (along with figures of Shifu and the rest of the Five, so she would not forget them). Tigress had previously tried to brush it off when she first arrived but now, she cradles the Po figure as she goes to sleep, clearly missing her friends.
** Po plays with his own figure of Tigress, beginning to lambast himself as she would for the disarray of his room, guilty for inadvertently driving away one of his best friends.
** The story of Wu Yong, a goat servant and another once promising student of Mugan. Her intense demands, [[TrainingFromHell training regimen]], and high standards of perfection meant that he never received her approval, or even a little kindness from her. Eventually, the pressure and difficulty of Wu Yong's training lead to him breaking his leg, ending his career as a martial artist forever, and Mugan relegating him to be her servant instead. He tells the [[AndThatLittleGirlWasMe story to Tigress and when she realizes he is the former student]], Wu Yong admits for all the time and dedication he spent on learning kung fu, because of his crippling, he now had nothing to show for it. Yet he continues working for Mugan because he dedicated his ''life'' to kung fu and doesn't see any other purpose for himself. It's enough to convince Tigress to return to the Jade Palace and her friends. Of course, Mugan has other plans.
* "A Stitch in Time" starts off light and silly, with Po discovering a bag of seeds that turn back time and abusing their power for fun and profit. Then Fenghuang shows up.
** [[spoiler:Shifu is killed by Fenghuang and dies in Po's arms.]]
--->[[spoiler:"Po! You - you saved all of us!"]]\
[[spoiler:"Not all of us."]]
** Po uses the seeds to undo [[spoiler:Shifu's death]], only for Fenghuang to use the seed she took from him to erase his master from existence; and because Shifu never existed, the Furious Five never met, and one by one they vanish too.
** Po [[spoiler:surrendering his life to Fenghuang]] in exchange for the promise that she fix the world, restore his friends, and [[SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong set right what he made wrong]]. When he tells her it's only what he deserves, the regret and hopelessness in his voice is heartbreaking.
* "Po The Croc" has this with the Croc bandits realizing they turned Po into a cruel monster as the episode progresses due to Po suffering amnesia and the Crocs initially taking advantage of this. After Po nearly kills Shifu, Fung confesses everything and outright begs Po to stop.
-->'''Fung:''' Stop it, guy! I lied, okay?! You're not a bandit! You're the Dragon Warrior and we're, like, enemies and junk, and that's how it's supposed to be and... this is all just wrong, wrong, wrong!
* The episode "Chain Reaction" plays off the earlier bad blood between Po and Tigress in the first movie, when after a moment alone, Tigress, driven past her breaking point by Po's bungling, [[RageBreakingPoint reveals in a harsh lambasting]] to still be bitter that he of all people was chosen to be Dragon Warrior over her. Po in turn, makes clear he has always just wanted to be her friend and in a bit of TranquilFury, tells her despite being a great warrior, she's a lousy friend. This causes the most developed display of Tigress suffering a JerkassRealization over her initial treatment of Po throughout the franchise, to the point she was genuinely surprised he even bothered to rescue her from the Croc Bandits afterwards.
* "The Spirit Orbs of Master Ding" has Tigress getting repeatedly upstaged by Po (who is a less than graceful winner) and getting increasingly downbeat and desperate. Later, she overhears Shifu exchanging wisdom with Po and gives an extremely dejected look, as a reminder that Tigress was Shifu's most promising student until Po arrived and inadvertently stole her thunder.
* In "Bosom Enemies", Taotie suffers a mental breakdown after one defeat causes him to lose his pants in front of the whole village. Even Mr. Ping says Po probably went too far.
* Crane, after his allergy issues humiliate him in front of the whole village, gets into a really bad funk in "Crane On A Wire". Despite Po trying to give him a confidence boost, Crane is distraught to find everyone he thought he was a hero towards laughs at him.
