Batman and Batgirl fight Calendar Girl, an ex-model seeking revenge.

----
!!Tropes:

* ActorAllusion: Creator/SelaWard, who was [[ActorSharedBackground passed over for a Bond girl role]] because she was supposedly "too old", played Page Monroe, a.k.a. "Calendar Girl" -- a former model who turned to a life of crime after being passed over in favor of younger faces and tried to exact revenge on the ones who ended her career.
* AmusingInjury: Batman throws a henchman into a car with the front open. The door slams shut and he screams.
* AntiClimacticUnmasking: Calendar Girl spends the whole episode obsessing about how no-one can see her face, leading us to think that it's some hideous botched plastic surgery she got after being forced out of modelling. But when Bullock removes her mask?
-->'''Batgirl:''' She's beautiful...\
'''Batman:''' She can't see that anymore. All she sees are the flaws.
* BadVibrations: A pond of water vibrates to indicate a rampaging robot ''T. rex'' (an obvious ShoutOut to ''Film/JurassicPark'').
* BandagedFace: Calendar Girl got surgery to help her fading beauty, and was horrified at the results (or what her deluded mind thought was the results).
* BeautifulAllAlong: PlayedForDrama. The episode built up Calendar Girl's appearance as something monstrously deformed and repulsive to the human eye. She also goes into detail about what she went through to maintain her looks (ranging from plastic surgery, brutal exercise routines, to outright starvation) and she believed that the modelling industry must pay for what they made her go through. When she's defeated by Batman, she's unmasked by Bullock and... she's beautiful. But Monroe screams in horror because she doesn't want anyone to look at her. A confused Batgirl says that she's beautiful and while Batman agrees, he tells her that Calendar Girl can't see her own beauty because she's only had the flaws pointed out to her.
* BeautyToBeast: Paige Monroe thinks this happened to her.
* BoundAndGagged: Three fashion executives are tied up for judgment from Calendar Girl.
* CanonForeigner: Calendar Girl.
* CastingCouch: When Batman and Batgirl visit Page's old agent, Irv Kleinman, he's in his office with an aspiring actress. He's clearly trying to pressure her into having sex, but Batman and Batgirl interrupt before he can do anything.
* ChippendalesDancers: Calendar Girl's {{Mook}}s are dressed up in similar costumes, providing a gender-flipped version of BodyguardBabes.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: In the beginning, a fat rich lady wishes to buy one of the clothes the fashion models on the catwalk were wearing. One guy asked who she's buying it for, and she hits him with her purse. He doesn't know why she was angry at him.
* DontLookAtMe: Calendar Girl covered her face with a WhiteMaskOfDoom at all times, at the risk of her BerserkButton. When she's unmasked at the end, a confused Batgirl whispers that "She's beautiful," but Batman solemnly replies that all she can see are the flaws.
* {{Expy}}:
** While Calendar Girl has [[WhiteDwarfStarlet additional gimmicks]], she is a GenderFlip (and YoungerAndHipper) stand-in for Calendar Man.
** The GWB network, which even has a WB-style water tower.
** Donna Day looks like Hollywood costume designer Edith Head.
* FashionShow: The first crime is committed at one.
* FelonyMisdemeanor: In the fashion industry, turning thirty will get you practically blacklisted.
* HiddenDepths: Irv Kleinman, Page's old agent, is a sleazy creep who clearly uses his position to coerce women into sleeping with him for roles, but he did genuinely try to help Page when her modeling career fell apart. He even got her a role on a sitcom, but the network rejected her in favor of a younger actress.
* HollywoodHomely / HollywoodOld: Used InUniverse, and very deliberately, with Calendar Girl. She used to be a glamorous, gorgeous supermodel but was eventually rejected by the industry (for the heinous crime of ''getting older''), and now refuses to be seen without her mask. When it eventually gets removed at the end of the episode, she screams at people not to look at her... except she's still every bit as beautiful as she was in the flashbacks. It's just that the unrealistic, unfair, and downright insane standards set by the industry broke her to the point that she now sees herself as hideously ugly.
* {{Irony}}: When Calendar Girl comes to kidnap Freddie, he tries to defend himself with a prop blaster. She snarks that he's BelievingTheirOwnLies and that ThisIsReality. At the end of the episode, it turns out that the same thing has happened to her, believing herself to be hideous when she's actually rather gorgeous.
* MatchCut: A dissolve from Batman in the field to Bruce Wayne in his office.
* MarilynManeuver: When Calendar Girl activates the wind machines at the studio reveal party, one woman is seen trying to hold down her dress as the hurricane force winds blowing through the sound stage cause it to flap uncontrollably.
* MaskingTheDeformity: The VillainOfTheWeek is Calendar Girl, a former model who was dropped by the fashion industry for "[[HollywoodOld getting too old]]". She tried to maintain her beauty through multiple cosmetic surgeries but now wears a WhiteMaskOfDoom to cover up her supposedly deformed face. {{Subverted|Trope}} in the end. After she's arrested, the cops take her mask off, revealing that [[BeautifulAllAlong she's actually still quite beautiful]]. However, the treatment she received from the fashion industry has her completely incapable of seeing that, so she freaks out and [[DontLookAtMe demands nobody look at her]]. It's even pointed out by Batman and Batgirl.
-->'''Batgirl:''' She's beautiful.\
'''Batman:''' She can't see that anymore. [[TearJerker All she sees are the flaws]].
* MinorInjuryOverreaction: Calendar Girl views herself as a hideous and deformed person whose dreadful appearance has only been exacerbated by countless rounds of plastic surgery. Beneath her mask, however, she is a beautiful woman whose self-image was destroyed [[HollywoodHomely when she was kicked out of the modeling community in favor of younger women]].
* MrFanservice: Calendar Girl's henchmen all look like ChippendalesDancers and in fact they provide the main page image for the trope.
* NoIndoorVoice:
-->'''Henchman:''' You know what I want from you two?\
'''Donna Day and Barkley James:''' ''[eagerly]'' What?\
'''Henchman:''' '''''QUIET!''''' [[MoodWhiplash The boss is thinking.]]
* OlderThanTheyLook: Barbara snarks that Paige was the same age as Bruce when she did a show that he remembered. How do this is isn’t explicitly stated, but Paige still looks the same as she did back then.
* PetTheDog: Subverted; when a model begs for her life and says she's too young to die, Calendar Girl snarks that "You're never too thin and you're never too young." It's a Main/DoubleSubversion when Batman arrives and she says that the model is just a victim like herself and lets her go.
* PrettyInMink: A good number of the rich ladies attending the fashion show wear fur wraps.
* ReluctantRetiree: A [[PlotParallel subplot]] dealt with Bruce Wayne having to force this on an otherwise competent but elderly manager at Wayne Corp. After the episode's plot makes him reconsider the value of experience and his own aging, he [[ForgotICouldChangeTheRules lifts the "mandatory" aspect of the company's retirement policy]]. When he tells the manager of this change, the man is quite excited that he can keep working until he is ready to retire on his own. He literally "flips his wig", tossing his toupee in joy.
* ScrewTheMoneyIHaveRules: When Donna Day and Barkley James offer to bribe a henchman to let them go, and they certainly have the funds for it, he gives them a BigShutUp so that the boss can think.
* StylisticSuck: The three pilot shows shown in the GWB sequence are this in spades, that have the exact feel of the sort of corporate mandated garbage that could only come from the 1990s: A Teen Girl show about girls at a modeling school, an inner city cop drama for kids about a young teen helping the police, and a show that can only be called a cross between ''Series/{{Baywatch}}'' and an animal medical drama. Your Mileage May Very though: Teen Cop is basically the elevator pitch for ''WesternAnimation/{{Fillmore}}'' with some workshopping done.
* TotallyRadical: Parodied in a scene with a group of network bigwigs viewing promo reels for new shows:
-->''[kid with a backwards baseball cap and shades skateboards up to the camera, pulls out a police badge]''\
'''Kid:''' You're busted!\
'''Announcer:''' Teen Cop: inner-city street drama with a fresh attitude.\
'''Kid:''' Education RULES!
** Considering this was a show meant for the GWB Network, and by now the show was premiering on the very network they were mocking, might also count as a case of BitingTheHandHumor.
* WhiteMaskOfDoom: Calendar Girl wears one to cover up her hideous, as in no longer meeting impossible standards of beauty, face.
* YoungerAndHipper: Deconstructed with Calendar Girl. She was a former model who was "past her prime" (that is, she had turned 30) and wanted revenge against the fashion industry that abandoned her. There was a scene where the GWB network unveils their new shows for the Fall season, including programming about a "teen cop", "girls at a modeling college", and "young lady veterinarians on the beach" to drive the point home. In the end, it was revealed that Calendar Girl was still quite beautiful, but all she could see were the "flaws" that came with age. The irony? Calendar Girl herself is a younger-and-hipper update of Calendar Man, a somewhat lame CListFodder bat-rogue.
