'''The Price of Admission:''' When Lincoln watches a scary movie against his parents' wishes, he ends up getting scared silly and is afraid to sleep.

----
!!"The Price of Admission"
* BaitAndSwitch: Several:
** In the basement, Lincoln hears a creepy voice saying, "I will get you..." It is then revealed that he stepped on a talking doll, which says, "I will get you...another cup of tea!"
** He hears Mr. Grouse saying, "I have hearts, kidneys and ears!" It turns out that Mr. Grouse meant hearts of romaine, kidney beans and ears of corn.
** He sees a shadowy figure dragging a cooler behind him...but it turns out to be Mr. Grouse getting ready to go night fishing.
* BigEater: For a midnight snack, Mr. Loud decides to eat a whole carrot cake out of the fridge rather than just sneak a slice.
* CallBack: Blarney the Dinosaur, who was last seen in "[[Recap/TheLoudHouseS1E13ForBrosAboutToRockItsALoudLoudLoudLoudHouse For Bros About to Rock]]", returns in this episode.
* CompanionCube: When nobody wants to stay awake all night with him, Lincoln nervously draws some faces on his pillows and pretends they're people.
* HalloweenEpisode: This episode is set sometime before Halloween.
* INeverSaidItWasPoison: How Mrs. Loud tricks her husband into admitting he ate the carrot cake she made the night before.
* IResembleThatRemark: After Mrs. Loud says he's easily frightened by horror movies, Mr. Loud firmly disagrees... after getting up from hiding behind the sofa and right before he demands that the trailer to ''The Harvester'' never be shown in the house again.
* KiddieKid: Clyde has shades of this in this episode; he is [[EntertainmentBelowTheirAge thrilled to see a Blarney movie]], which is [[PeripheryDemographic clearly aimed at kids much younger than him]].
* KidsShouldntWatchHorrorFilms: Lincoln wants to watch ''The Harvester'' to prove that he's not a baby, but soon realizes that he may have been in over his head.
* LikeFatherLikeSon: Mrs. Loud forbids Lincoln to see the movie--saying that he and Mr. Loud are both easily terrified by horror movies.
* {{Manchild}}: Just like Clyde, Rita, Lynn Sr., and Mr. Grouse, all grown-ups, decide to watch Blarney, a movie that they're ''WAY'' too old for.
* MistakenForFlatulence: Ten [[WhoopeeCushion whoopee cushions]] fall on Lincoln in the dark. Since Lincoln [[KidsShouldntWatchHorrorFilms is paranoid from having seen a movie about a guy who harvests organs]], he thinks they're his sisters' disembodied colons still farting.
* MovieTheaterEpisode: The episode focuses on Lincoln sneaking into the movie theater showing ''The Harvester'' to prove he's not a baby.
* NeverSayDie: Defied: Mr. Loud says that the ceramic pumpkins he wants Lincoln to get are in the darkest corner of the basement, "where Lana's snake went to die".
* OhCrap: Lincoln and Mr. Loud's reaction when Mrs. Loud announces she has three tickets for them to go see ''The Harvester''.
* ThePunishmentIsTheCrime: When Lincoln confesses that he watched ''The Harvester'' against their wishes and stayed up all night, his parents decide that his ordeal was punishment enough.
* RunningGag: Lincoln thinks Mr. Grouse is the Harvester due to his paranoia.
* SanitySlippage: ''The Harvester'' does a number on Lincoln's psyche, to the point where he makes up "friends" on his pillows to help keep him company and stay awake.
* SpitTake: Mr. Loud when Mrs. Loud asks if he's seen her cake, and when he hears that Mrs. Loud intends for them to go watch ''The Harvester'' with Lincoln.
* SplitScreenPhoneCall: One occurs when Lincoln calls Clyde in the middle of the night.
* SuspiciouslySpecificDenial: "No, I didn't see your carrot cake!"
* StabTheSalad: While investigating a noise in the kitchen, Lincoln encounters a shadowy figure holding a knife and saying in a menacing voice, "I'm gonna slice you right down the middle!" sending Lincoln fleeing back to his room. Turns out it was just his dad talking to a slice of cake.
* ThatRemindsMeOfASong: When Lincoln tells Clyde he plans to sneak into the theater showing ''The Harvester'' and not tell his parents, that's Clyde's cue to sing one of Blarney's songs.

'''One Flu Over the Loud House:''' When his sisters catch the flu, Lincoln and the few healthy Louds remaining try to escape the house without getting infected.

----
!!"One Flu Over the Loud House"
* AesopAmnesia: In the flashback, it seemingly didn't take long for Lola to fall back into her tattletale habits from "A Tattler's Tale" by ratting out Lana for drinking orange juice out of the carton. It's justified somewhat, however, due to Lana being sick, and Lola may have been warning the others.
* ArtisticLicenseMedicine: While it's true for people to get sick by spreading germs, it's impossible for someone to immediately become sick upon coming into contact with such in real life. The sickness normally starts to take effect within 3-4 days after contracting such unless it's identified and treated.
* {{Bedheaditis}}: Some of the Loud siblings get ratty hair as a result of their illness.
* BlackDudeDiesFirst: {{Inverted}}. Clyde is the only character in the episode who doesn't get the flu by the end. Granted, he wasn't in the house to begin with.
* BothSidesHaveAPoint: While Leni wanting to help the sick family members is honorable, Lincoln and the other healthy sisters wanting to keep away is understandable with how contagious and severe this version of the flu is. No way to help the sick if you get sick yourself, and only Leni had a means of protecting herself as revealed towards the episodes end.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: Done by Clyde this time at the end of the episode, making him the fourth person in the series to have done so.
* BrickJoke: After Lucy is twice mistaken for being infected, when she finally is, she asks if the family can tell the difference now. Nope!
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: Annoyed by her constant need to help the sick, Lincoln says Leni is acting like Mother Teresa:
-->'''Leni:''' Shows what you know. Our mother's name is "Rita."
* CrazyPrepared: Lincoln, ProperlyParanoid about the flu virus, has a "safe house" set up at Clyde's house, strategies for avoiding the infected Louds gleamed from his hundreds of hours of zombie film viewing, and is fairly adept at setting up improvised barricades to keep the infected at bay.
* DownerEnding: The entire family, despite their best efforts to escape, still manage to get the flu. While Clyde does comes over to care for them with some gourmet cooking, even he points out the escape mission ultimately failing.
* DumbassHasAPoint: Leni realizes that her family simply wants and needs care while they're sick, rather than treating them like {{plague zombie}}s, as Lincoln and Lisa end up doing.
* DwindlingParty: The story begins with Lincoln, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lucy, and Lisa. The group slowly diminishes. No one actually dies, of course, but the group treats them as good as that:
-->'''Leni:''' You go. I'm gonna stay here and take care of the sick.\
'''Lincoln:''' Don't be a fool! They're gone! We have to start a new world without them. They'd want it that way.
* EverybodyDiesEnding: {{Parodied}}; every single Loud "dies" (gets the zombie flu) by the end of the episode.
* HazmatSuit: Clyde wears one in the end when he goes over to the Loud House to take care of the family, to protect himself from getting infected.
* HiddenDepths:
** Leni shows a real penchant for personal sick care, keeping tissues, cough drops, and a number of surgical masks handy in her fanny pack.
** As mentioned above, Lincoln has a knack for planning and improvisation on the fly.
* HopeSpot:
** The group almost escapes out the front door, but then they see the infected pets on the porch.
** When it seems like Lincoln, Leni, Lucy, and Lisa are about to escape through the back door, Lily's snot bubble flies through the window and hits Lucy. She then proceeds to sneeze on the doorknob and Lisa.
** Lincoln performs a sacrifice to save Leni from getting infected. Then he sneezes on her.
* InfectionScene: Early in the episode, there's a montage showing how the first Loud sisters all got sick, depicted as an old sepia-tone movie reel with suspenseful music playing. Lori sneezes on a basketball, leaving visible gunk. Lynn picks up the basketball, gets the gunk on her face, and gets sick. Lynn drinks out of the orange juice carton, which Lana then pours juice out of, and we're treated to a close-up of her drinking the germs in her drink. Finally, Lana coughs green gunk on Lola, and she gets sick.
* {{Irony}}: Clyde mourns when Lincoln informs that Lori "didn't make it", unaware that she was PatientZero.
* ItsQuietTooQuiet: At the beginning, Lincoln notices something odd when he wakes up at 10:00 AM and [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness his sisters aren't up and about]].
* LastNameBasis: As the dwindling party struggles to escape, Lincoln orders "Loud" to take point. Lucy points out all of them are Louds.
* LockAndLoadMontage: Lisa gears up everyone with soup-fueled water guns to ward off the infected family members.
* MundaneMadeAwesome: When the Louds get sick, they act like zombies.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: When Lori is announced to have a fever, she sneezes on Lynn's basketball, which starts the flu infection.
* NotAZombie: When in their parents’ bedroom, Lincoln thinks Lucy has been infected, only for her to remind him that this is how she always looks.
* OnlySaneMan: Leni doesn't want to join in Lincoln's plan to leave the house uninfected, instead opting to stay and take care of her family while wearing a protective mask.
* PatientZero: Lori was the first one to be infected with the flu.
* PretendWereDead: Lincoln instructs Lisa, Lucy, and Leni to use this tactic when cornered by their infected sisters. It works for a while.
* RaisingTheSteaks: Even the pets (except Hops and Lana's animal friends) weren't immune to getting infected.
* RandomlyReversedLetters: The word "RUN!" with a backwards "R" can be seen written on one of the hallway's walls in the initial shot of Lincoln seeing its messy status.
* SeriousBusiness: Lincoln and his uninfected sisters treat the flu pandemic as a matter of life and death, and they even call out Leni when she doesn't treat it like a big deal.
* SickEpisode: Lori comes down with the flu in this episode, and it quickly spreads to the other members of the Loud family. By the end of the episode, every member has it.
* SupportingTheMonsterLovedOne: Parodied, where the Louds are ''not'' turning into monsters, they're just getting the flu, but the healthy kids are treating it like a zombie apocalypse. Leni, however, thinks they should help them.
* TheSpeechless: This happens when a Loud gets infected; they lose their ability to speak and only make zombie-like moans.
* TakingTheBullet: Lincoln jumps in front of Luna's snot so Leni wouldn't catch the flu. Of course, he ends up infecting her anyway.
* TastesLikeChicken: Lincoln remarks that the concoction in the water guns tastes like chicken soup. Lisa informs him that it's because it ''is'' chicken soup.
* ThrowingTheDistraction: Lincoln throws a box of tissues to distract some of the infected sisters. Later, Lisa does the same with an infected Lily by throwing her bottle into a corner.
* UnexpectedlyDarkEpisode: This episode is treated like a ZombieApocalypse, up to and including bits of NightmareFuel involving the infected Louds.
* TheUnreveal: An infected Mom's face is shown, but her hair covers her eyes. The same is for Dad, as everything is in silhouette [[ByTheLightsOfTheirEyes except for his eyes]].
* WaterGunsAndBalloons: The uninfected Louds protect themselves by shooting water guns full of chicken soup at the infectees.
* WhatTheHellHero: Leni calls out Lincoln on dismissing his family as "zombies", rather than actually try to help them through the flu. She even says that ''he's'' becoming a "monster".
* ZombieApocalypse: Parodied; the uninfected Louds (except Leni) treat the situation as if it is one.
