1	Having grown ill from seeing Angel Grove's Food Festival, Rita sends down the ravenous Pudgy Pig to eat everything on Earth. How will the Rangers defeat this monster after he eats their weapons?

5	* AllAmericanFace: Jason and Kimberly serving the good ol' American food, like cheeseburgers and hot dogs. Jason even wears American flag-themed clothing.
6	* BigShutUp: Rita screams this at Squat and Baboo (see below).
7	* BlameGame: As usual, Squatt and Baboo blame one another for Pudgy Pig's defeat.
8	* BullyingTheDragon: Bulk and Skull tease Pudgy Pig, which only riles him up, making them flee in terror.
9	* DodgyToupee: Mr. Caplan at the start of the food fight and at the end of the episode when he cools himself down.

Sharkie will make one more appearance in a later episode but the black guy [[ChuckCunninghamSyndrome never shows up again]].
12	** A minor note, but when briefing the rangers about Pudgy Pig, Zordon does not refer to the monster by it's proper name calling him "a ravenous pig" instead. Somewhat interesting as Zordon usually calls most if not all monsters by their proper names. Though Zordon does call it by its name in "A Pig Surprise".
13	** Finster shows a mischievous side that doesn't come up at all in later episodes.
14	* EvilIsPetty: Rita decides to ruin the Food Festival due to the food making her feel ''more'' ill.
15	* FoodFight: Obviously. Doubles as a TitleDrop.
16	* HypocriticalHumor: When asked for a Pudgy Pig, Finster comments that it's not his best work. The moment that the creature gains the advantage over the rangers, he comments with pride that the pig is one of the best monsters he's ever made. One dead pig later, he's grovelling to Rita about how he warned her that it wasn't his best creation.
17	* InformedAbility: Zordon says that Pudgy Pig will consume all food on Earth in only 48 hours (2 days), but the porker's eating pace does not reflect that fact.
18	* IWarnedYou: Finster told Rita the Pudgy Pig isn't his best work.
19	* NoFourthWall: Pudgy Pig sniffs at the camera
20	* PigMan: Pudgy Pig, obviously, although the "man" part is pushing it, given his odd anatomy. (He looks like a large pig's head with arms and legs, wearing a Spartan helmet)
