5	* CallBack: Maze helps Trixie improvise a "President of Mars" costume for Halloween. Trixie had previously told Maze that was what she wanted to be when she grew up when they first met in "[[Recap/Lucifer2016S01E10Pops Pops]]".
6	* DeathSeeker: Lucifer taunts the sniper to shoot him several times, to no avail.
7	* ForHalloweenIAmGoingAsMyself: When Maze takes Trixie out trick-or-treating, the latter expresses disappointment that Maze doesn't have a costume as well. So Maze [[NoPeekingRequest tells her to turn around]], and improvises a "costume" by dropping her {{Glamour}} to reveal a [[TwoFaced half-decayed face]]. When she turns back, Trixie is delighted with the result because that will get her more candy.
8	* GameFace: After Linda's rejection to continue with the sessions unless Lucifer's shows her who he really is, Lucifer drops his [[{{Glamour}} glamour]] for her. She's naturally left shocked.

10	** Lucifer is going through one after killing Uriel. He shows up to work completely dishevelled and tries to get himseld killed. He rebuffs all of Chloe's attempts to help him, but does eventually reach out to Linda.
11	** Linda just [[ThousandYardStare stares]] in shock after seeing [[GameFace Lucifer's real self]] for the first time. Maze later notes that Linda took it better than most people, considering she didn't GoMadFromTheRevelation.
12	* InternalReveal: Lucifer reveals his true face to Linda, confirming to her that he wasn't using metaphors and really ''is'' the Devil.
13	* NeverMyFault: The sniper shoots those he holds responsible for his wife's death, when in reality he blames himself for not being there when she needed her.
14	* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Lucifer is more impulsive and rude than usual... because he's struggling to cope with [[{{Fratricide}} Uriel's death at his hands]].
15	* RageAgainstTheHeavens: Downplayed. Amenadiel declares he's fed up with [[{{God}}his father's]] attitude.
16	* SoProudOfYou: Amenadiel feels responsible for Uriel's death, but "Charlotte" lectures him about his tendency to feel guilty for everything and how she's actually proud of all he's done so far.
17	* ThemedWedding: The MysteryOfTheWeek occurs at a zombie-themed wedding. The bride, groom and guests are all dressed as zombies, the rings are on fake fingers on a bloodied-white pillow, the ceremony is held at a graveyard and the episode is [[HalloweenEpisode set on Halloween]]. Because of this, the guests are undeterred when the groom is shot by the episode's killer despite the bride's protests before she is shot dead herself.
