Recently, Emu has been feeling a little worried. He is very quiet and hasn't talked much since Poppy Pipopapo suddenly disappeared. Just then, Hiiro is shocked by the sheer number of emergency calls coming to CR, all reports of the game illness! As the only CR doctors, Emu and Hiiro rush to the indicated locations, but what they find there is an unbelievable sight...

!!This Episode contains the following Tropes:
* AcceptableBreaksFromReality: A subversion. While the existence of the game is for [[spoiler: the sake of the Bugsters being a threat to Humans]], the fact that KR Chronicle has an official CERO Rating means that it had to have been looked at and analyzed. See WhatDoYouMeanItsForKids below.
* ArtifactOfDeath: What the Kamen Rider Chronicle Gashat is. Since it spread by word of mouth and is so new, anyone that is not a Rider would not know that willingly playing it will inevitably lead to their death, especially since it seems like the Ride Players are only Level 1 in comparison to the Bugsters who have leveled up.
* BackFromTheDead: Salty is one of the Bugsters that has once again revived, this time as Level 10.
* BadGuysDoTheDirtyWork: Admit it, Emu is far too nice to fight with any of the Ride-Players and would most likely not have gotten his equipment back without someone else's intervention. The fact that Parado was more than willing to kill the players who had Emu's stuff and leave them behind for Emu to retake leaves Emu wrought with guilt.
* BlatantLies: When Poppy more or less gets every single player to gang up on Emu and Hiiro, Hiiro's response is to fight his way out non-lethally, while Emu's response is to...hold the Gashacon Breaker behind his back and cover up the Mighty Action X Gashat that's still in his driver and try to convince them he doesn't have anything. (Making it worse is that he holds it in sword mode, meaning that it's even more visible)
* CurbStompBattle: PlayedForDrama as any Ride Player who goes up against any of the Bugster bosses or Para-DX will obviously be outmatched.
* EarlyGameHell: A Ride Player is obviously outmatched against any of the Bugster bosses by this point in the show. However, there is a way for them to get stronger...
* ExpositionFairy: With her being a non-combatant to compliment her status as the Bugster's ManchurianAgent, Poppy Pipopapo is a dark twist on this, guiding the Ride Players to fight her fellow Bugsters to save the city and become the best... While ganging up on any Riders currently in play to loot them dry.
* HuntingTheMostDangerousGame: What Kamen Rider Chronicle effectively is. By luring unsuspecting victims on the pretense that it is just a normal game, Kamen Rider Chronicle allows the Bugsters and Parado to hunt humans and kill them with the general public none the wiser.
* KnowWhenToFoldEm: The minute Emu uses Maximum Gamer and shakes the ground so hard that all the Energy Items in the area fall down, the Ride Players wisely leave.
* LampshadeHanging: Nico questions aloud if all Genm [=CEOs=] are supposed to be strange when Ren Amagasaki starts creeping her out.
* LordBritishPostulate: The Riders have become this due to the rules of the game (And Poppy's status as the ExpositionFairy) dictating that the Doctor Riders are overleveled Ride Players with the best gear and loot strapped on for the taking. Because of this, none their gear's safe, not even their Drivers and Gashats.
* TheMostDangerousVideoGame: Being a Augmented Reality [=MMO=] operating on the same rules as ''Literature/SwordArtOnline'', it turns out in the end that the Ride Players are stuck at level one without much chance to upgrade. [[spoiler: And as of now, downed players can't afford retries.]]
* {{Mooks}}: The Ride Players are this compared to the other Riders, as of now at level one, along with the majority of players being absolute noobs, just as expected with most every [=MMO=].
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Poppy not returning to the CR base has both Emu and Hiiro concerned. It gets worse when they learn of her becoming the gamers' guide to Kamen Rider Chronicle and seemingly does not acknowledge their presence.
* PowerUpLetDown: For the Ride Players, who do not know how Gashats other than Kamen Rider Chronicle work, they will just take a weapon if given to them by a Gashat and charge back into the fray, not knowing that the Gashats are meant to be used with the Gamer Driver for maximum effectiveness.
* SpoilerOpening: In the second version of the opening sequence, Kamen Rider Poppy has blue eyes: the preview for the next episode shows that Amagasaki's influence is the cause of her eyes being red.
** During the opening, Nico is seen with the other Riders in the display, [[spoiler: showing her custom Ride Player form.]]
* ToBeAMaster: The natural motivation of practically every Ride Player, their game being an [=MMO=] and all.
* VictorGainsLosersPowers: In a dark twist, the Riders now must be wary that '''''any''''' Ride Player will attack them solely for their Gashats and Gamer Driver as that is the only way they will stand a chance against the Bugsters, and Poppy has effectively marked them for death by calling them special players with items the Ride Players may use by defeating the Riders. That being said the Ride Players are laughably under powered compared to the Riders so the main threat is the Rider's being reluctant to hurt a human being rather than the Ride Players genuinely being a threat.
* WhatDoYouMeanItsForKids: InUniverse, ''Kamen Rider Chronicle'' is rated A (The equivalent of E for Everyone). Even if the people ranking the game didn't know about [[spoiler: the game being made to allow Bugsters to kill everyone]], they're still letting children buy a game where they get to use weapons in the real world that can hurt people around them.
