Brian visits an old flame (who has become overweight trailer trash) and discovers he has an illegitimate (human) son.
----
!Examples:
* ArtisticLicenseBiology: In "Road to Rhode Island", Brian stated during a conversation with the owner of a crop dusting airplane that first Stewie would be too young to plant a seed in his daughter and that he himself was of a different species. Nevertheless according to this episode, he obviously can impregnate a human female.
* TheBully: Dylan, who throws around mean insults and pranks to the Griffins before Brian cleans him up.
* ButNowIMustGo: Dylan, having been reformed by his father, decides to do the same with his mother, and leaves with her for a better life.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: Tracy recalls a painful story where she was molested by her father. Brain proceeds to ask if that just means she ReallyGetsAround.
* CommonalityConnection: Brain and Dylan are at each other’s throats…but share a mutual interest in weed, which is the starting point for their relationship.
* DepravedBisexual: There are five references to Stewie's sexuality mostly aimed towards Dylan.
** When trying to convince Brian to let him be Brian's magic assistant, Stewie says that they'll do all the great tricks, and that "[Brian] can even split me in half." When Brian questions it, Stewie quickly says "Saw me in half."
** When helping Brian with his magic act, Stewie is dressed as a female again. He states, "I can't believe I agreed to four costume changes. Oh, who am I kidding? I insisted on it!"
** When Lois asks Stewie how he would feel if Dylan stays in his room, Stewie sarcastically states "No, my pants just got shorter because I hated the idea."
** When Brian is monitoring Dylan with Stewie's baby monitor, an apparently naked Stewie asks Dylan to join his "Naked Tea Party" and that he's "Got [his] teacup here. Now all [he] need[s] is a teabag". He then asks Dylan if "that['s] something that interests you, my friend?" When Dylan calls Stewie "weird," Stewie retorts with "Yeah, and you're attractive. NOW TAKE YOUR FUCKING PANTS OFF!"
** When Brian and Dylan are high in Stewie's/Dylan's room, Stewie walks by, naked, and states, "Just passin' on through. See anything you like, speak up," referencing his series long attraction to Brian and his episode long attraction to Dylan.
* {{Gonk}}: At one point, Peter states that Tracy looks like, "A really hot Tim Russert." Despite being a compliment, it is Peter's clever way of pointing out how Tracy is so ugly in appearance that she could easily be mistaken for a man. Tracy is an overweight and very unattractive woman with a gravelly voice, some facial hairs sticking out on her chin, unkempt messy hair, sagging wrinkled skin, and a large belly protruding out of her crop top.

* HalfHumanHybrid: Dylan, who—in no way, shape, or form—is dog-like.
* HalfwayPlotSwitch: The first part of the episode is about Brian pretending to be a magician to impress a girl, only for said girl to have a boyfriend. While venting to Stewie about this, it comes up that Brian found his soulmate a long time ago and blew his chances with her. Stewie encourages him to reconnect with her, leading to the main plot about Brian finding out he has a son and said son coming to live with the Griffins.
* HelicopterParents: Brian becomes one for Dylan after he helps change his {{Jerkass}} behavior. Strangely, it’s everyone else around him that is annoyed by this but not Dylan himself.
* ICanChangeMyBeloved: The mother Brian attempts to attract is already in a relationship with another man, who is an out-and-out slacker, which she openly believes she can fix.
* InsultBackfire: In the cutaway where Stewie, in the most [[BrutalHonesty brutally honest]] way, tells Creator/MatthewMcConaughey how bad of an actor he is, Matthew takes the criticism in stride and actually agrees with him. The only time he manages to somewhat get a rise out of him was the final insult of him sucking on a donkey's behind.
* NoodleIncident: During the "Mexican Funeral" CutawayGag, it's never revealed ''how'' all of those people passed away, or how they all managed to fit into the same coffin, for that matter.
* PrecociousCrush: Stewie’s attraction to Dylan, though it’s less of a crush, and more outright lust.
* ShoutOut:
** The Pink Panther's lungs being filled with Owens-Corning fiberglass insulation is a reference to the Owens-Corning commercials that featured the Pink Panther.
** The title is a reference to the film Monty Python's Life of Brian.
** When Brian discovers that he has a son, Stewie, with much anticipation, yells, "Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!" in reference to The Jerry Springer Show.
* TakeThat:
** Meg while being forced to sit through a marathon of Creator/MontyPython sketches that are neither funny nor memorable.
--->'''Sketch Character:''' ''[[WordSaladHumor I have a pet hedgehog named Zippy, and I shall walk her to town! And each time my foot hits the ground, I shall say "Boing! Boing! Boing!"]]''
--->'''Meg:''' I'm a ''girl!'' I don't even like the ''good'' Monty Python sketches!
** Sonny, the Cuckoo Bird from the Cocoa Puffs advertising campaign is subjected to a psychological evaluation, where the tester presents to him a bowl of the cereal to test his reaction. This is a reference to his famous motto "cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs!" The bird, however, refuses to take the bait.
** When Stewie points out that Brian couldn't have a thirteen year old son when he himself is only seven years out, Brian tells him that it was in dog years. When Stewie tells Brian that that doesn't make any sense, Brian tells him to complain about it on the Internet. This is a nod to online fans who meticulously document continuity errors within the show.
