During yet another treasure hunt, Scrooge runs into his DistaffCounterpart, Millionaira Vanderbucks, the world's richest female duck. Initially, they don't get along. However, over time, Millionaira seems to warm up to Scrooge, who doesn't know that to Millionaira, marriage means having even more money.

!!This episode contains examples of the following tropes.
* AcronymsAreEasyAsAyBeeCee: A running joke is that Scrooge's employees and friends don't understand what ASAP means. Launchpad recognizes that it's an acronym but doesn't know the meaning, while Duckworth doesn't even understand that it's an acronym and thinks Scrooge is calling him "a sap."
* ChasedOffIntoTheSunset: After the nuptials go off the rails, Scrooge runs off over the horizon, with the spurned Goldie chasing him and firing bullets all the way.
* ChildHater: Millionaira Vanderbucks. Upon marrying Scrooge, she intends to send Huey, Dewey, and Louie to military school and Webby to finishing school.
--> '''Millionaira''' (upon first meeting Webby and the nephews): Children! How ghastly! [[BlatantLies . . . Er, how charming!]]
* ContinuityCavalcade: The episode includes cameos from several characters who have appeared in the series thus far at the wedding. Aside from appearances from Gyro, Donald, the Beagle Boys, and Glomgold, those present in line or in the aisles include Doofus Drake, Gladstone Gander, Magica [=DeSpell=], Feathers Galore and J. Gander Hoover ("Double O Duck"), Ripcord and Loopy [=McQuack=] ("[[Recap/DuckTalesS1E12TopDuck Top Duck]]"), Professor Carl Sagander, Burt Beakarach, and Gloria Swansong ("[[Recap/DuckTalesS1E57TheUncrashableHindentanic The Uncrashable Hindentanic]]"), the Grand Kishki ("Catch As Cash Can"), Shedlock Jones ("[[Recap/DuckTalesS1E21DrJekyllAndMrMcDuck Dr. Jekyll and Mr. [=McDuck=]]]") and The Duchess of Swansylvania ("[[Recap/DuckTalesS1E55HotelStrangeduck Hotel Strangeduck]]").
* DefrostingIceQueen: Subverted. Millionaira is initially cold and unwilling to cooperate with Scrooge, but after some time, she appears to be melting, and he even proposes to her. Unfortunately, [[JerkWithAHeartOfJerk it's all a ploy to get ahold of Scrooge's money.]]
* DisguisedInDrag: The Beagle Boys pose as bridesmaids in order to get into the bank where Scrooge and Millionaira are being married.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: During the ceremony, Mrs. Beakley starts sobbing and Duckworth attempts to comfort her, advising her to think of the situation as gaining a "bossy in-law", not losing a boss (rather like "you're not losing a son; you're gaining a daughter"). Then Mrs. Beakley destroys the metaphor by telling him that Millionaira plans to fire them both as soon as the wedding ring is on her finger.
* DomesticAbuse: As much as you could get away in an '80s cartoon. Millionaira Vanderbucks is a BitchInSheepsClothing GoldDigger [[{{Gaslighting}} who uses her feminine wiles to wrap Scrooge around her finger to the point that he’s completely oblivious about her cruel actions]], and she aims to completely dismantle his family by firing Mrs. Beakley and Duckworth and sending the triplets and Webby to military school and finishing school respectively just because [[IrrationalHatred she doesn’t like them]] [[ItsAllAboutMe and doesn’t want to share the spoils that will come with becoming Mrs. McDuck]].
* EvilLaugh: Millionaira cackles when it looks like she'll get her way.
* EvilGloating: Millionaira crows over the success of her schemes, unfortunately when Scrooge isn't around.
* GilliganCut: Scrooge says he's come to offer Millionaira "an offer [she] can't refuse" for some turf. Cut to the door: "What do you mean you refuse?"
* GoldDigger: Millionaira Vanderbucks. The nephews invite a guest to prevent her from marrying Scrooge: Glittering Goldie. Millionaira then meets Flintheart, who quickly realizes she nearly gave him the same fate Scrooge avoided.
* LiteralMinded: Upon hearing that Millionaira intends to give Duckworth and Mrs. Beakly the pink slip, the boys think it's a gift and they're getting off better than the kids. When Mrs. Beakly sets them straight:
-->'''Mrs. Beakly:''' Oh, boys. A pink slip isn't a gift. It means I'm fired. '''''[[ExplainExplainOhCrap FIRED?!]]'''''
* MistakenForServant: Scrooge mistakes [[MeaningfulName Millionaira]] Vanderbucks for a company president's secretary, not realizing that Millionaira is the president of the corporation (and the richest woman in the world to boot).
* OffToBoardingSchool: Millionaira plans to send Huey, Dewey, and Louie to military school and Webbigail to finishing school ("I don't want to be finished!")
* OldNewBorrowedAndBlue: Millionaira's version is "Something old: my money. Something new? His money. Something borrowed: more money. And something ''green''... ALL the money!"
* PetTheDog: As a guest, Glomgold watches his rival's wedding with a pleasant demeanor. He also comforts the heart (dollar?) broken Millionaira without any ulterior motive.
* PoorCommunicationKills: It may have been useless, but the triplets don't even ''try'' repeating Millionaira's EvilGloating moments to Scrooge.
* RunningGag: Scrooge's employees mistaking the meaning of A-S-A-P (As Soon As Possible) [[AcronymsAreEasyAsAybeecee for a normal word]]. Duckworth thinks Scrooge is "calling him a sap" and Launchpad eventually decides it means "As Stupid As Possible".
* ScaryStingingSwarm: Millionaira is attacked by bees after the triplets spray her with honey disguised as a bug repellent.
* SecondPlaceIsForLosers: Averted with Vanderbucks, who pursues Glomgold as eagerly as she did Scrooge.
* ShoutOut: Webby about Ms. Vanderbucks: "[[Literature/SnowWhite If she offered me an apple in a forest, I sure wouldn't eat it.]]"
* VillainBall: After successfully wooing Scrooge to the altar, Millionaira accidentally lets slip that she's more interested in his money than in him. When her groom expresses dismay, Millie doesn't attempt to act as though she misspoke or he misunderstood, but she makes it even clearer that she's marrying him only for his assets. Predictably, it causes the scheme to fail.
* WackyMarriageProposal: When Scrooge proposes to Millionaira Vanderbucks, he puts his proposal in financial terms. He asks if she'd be interested in a "merger", and she responds hoping that they'd have a "dividend or two". Millionaira immediately drags Scrooge home to meet her accountant.
* WeddingSmashers: [[PluckyGirl Glittering]] [[NeverMessWithGranny Goldie]] crashes Scrooge's wedding ''epically'', by popping out of the wedding cake and blasting away with a shotgun. It turns out the nephews invited the old flame specifically to keep Scrooge from marrying Millionaira.
-->'''Goldie:''' You no good varmint! I'll teach ya' to lay eyes on another woman!
-->'''Triplets:''' Ya-hoo! Let's hear it for Goldie!
