9	[=TAC=] is called to the (fictional) town of [[TitleDrop Callisto]], Texas, in order to defend a young genius named Kerry Ketchum accused with patent infringement for a life-saving drug after it's used to save her sister. Because Ketchum wants to distribute her version worldwide (and for non-profit), Errol Windmere, the current leading manufacturer of a similar drug, is able to go to court in a town renowned for favoring their local prosecution. To make things worse for [=TAC=], they're up against Diana Lindsay, the only person Bull has [[InsistentTerminology not won]] against in court.

12	* BrickJoke: Lindsay meets [=TAC=] when they first arrive in Callisto, saying she's glad to see Bull without a mustache; later, Cable finds an EmbarrassingOldPhoto of him with one. It comes up again at the end, when Cable photoshops a celebratory photograph of a mustached, pants-less Bull in a field after his tryst with Diana Lindsay.
13	* ConvictedByPublicOpinion: A variation of it is the key problem with the case. The Callisto prosecution is beloved by the local population due to all their financial support for the town, which means they're biased to think that anyone on the prosecution's side in a case is a much better person than the defendant. Bull's team has to appear to be equally endearing just to stand a chance.
14	* DatingCatwoman: Diana and Bull show evident attraction to each other.
15	* DistinctionWithoutADifference: When Chunk learns of Bull's history in Callisto, he calls him out on saying he's never lost; Bull retorts that he never has, but also "hasn't always won".

19	* HollywoodLaw: The case on patent infringement is trialed in Callisto rather than New York because the creator of the drug intends for it to be released worldwide. However, patent law in the US is a federal issue. Therefore, it would be tried by one of the four federal district courts in Texas, all of which are in major cities. Callisto's reputation as a favorable jurisdiction for patent plaintiffs probably comes from the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, located in the city of Tyler, which also has this (where one in four patent suits is filed).
20	* HonestCorporateExecutive: Although it seems for most of the episode that the trial is occurring because a new drug will undercut the current manufacturer's funds, it turns out that Windmere just genuinely believes that Ketchum is using his life's work without compensating him. When the two get a chance to talk one-on-one, Windmere turns out to be genuinely concerned for Ketchum's sister (having studied her in the past) and quickly drops the suit upon learning that the drug in question was created using a technique he never thought of.
21	* InsistentTerminology: Bull "[[DistinctionWithoutADifference did not win]]" his prior case in Callisto. He continues to say it this way even after Windmere drops the current case, since Lindsay didn't vocally acknowledge it as a win for him.
22	* TheMole: The local waitress is on Bull's side, passing along the jury's small talk while they dine.
23	* RedHerring: Weaponized by Bull, who leaves a notebook labeled "[[MultipleReferencePun BULLS HIT LIST]]" in the barn [=TAC=]'s operating in, which gets stolen by the prosecution and gives them completely false information on Bull's strategy.
24	* SimpleCountryLawyer: Both sides project this image to the rural jurors. Merle, a local defense lawyer who's more used to small-scale civil issues rather than high-stakes corporate lawsuits, comports himself well with a bit of coaching from TAC. Meanwhile, Lindsay, a much more experienced corporate lawyer, plays up her familiarity with the townsfolk to try and sway the jury to her side.
