!!Elvis Duran and the Morning Show provides examples of:

%% ** TJ was textbook this, but since his leaving, Bethany has filled the role just as well- if not better.
%% ** Loren, Josh and Web Girl Kathleen.
%% * AllGaysLoveTheater: [[{{Memetic Mutation}} CLANG CLANG CLANG WENT THE TROLLLLLLLEY…]]
* AllGirlsWantBadBoys: Played straight with ''and'' averted by Danielle and Carolina, who both love bad boy types, but ended up marrying the opposite.
%% * AllWomenLoveShoes: Especially Danielle.
%% * AmbiguouslyJewish: T.J. and Loren (who are both actually Italian).
* AscendedExtra: T.J., Loren, Josh, Carla Marie, and Kathleen were all (initially, at least) supposed to have behind-the-scenes roles, but since became pretty well-integrated into the show in their own right. They even have individual profile pages on the show's website.
%% * BigApplesauce: The show broadcasts from New York City, in downtown Manhattan no less.
%% * ButtMonkey: Greg T the Fratboy.
%% * CampGay:
%% ** Elvis.
%% ** Skeery's recurring Phone Tap character Fabrizio Fantana.
* CareerVersusMan: Averted, as Danielle, Carolina, and Kathleen are all married, while Loren, Carla Marie, and Bethany are all in stable/committed relationships.
* CatchPhrase:
** "Hello, Lady!"
** Additional ones: "That was my nickname in high school", "Wasn't she a stripper?", "That's STOOPID!" "Didn't (PunnyName phrase someone just said) use to do the weather for us?"
* ClipShow: During holidays, vacation breaks, and on Saturday mornings, a "best of" collection of popular/recent conversations, phone taps, and celebrity interviews will be aired instead of a new episode.
%% * CreditCardPlot: A common plot to many phone taps.
%% * ComedicSociopathy
* ConvenienceStoreGiftShopping: Invoked with Greg T's bit "[=Walmart=] Treasure Hunt" where he wanders around a UsefulNotes/{{Walmart}}- blindfolded- guided by a contestant over the phone (go left/right this many paces), and wherever aisle he ends up, the contestant "wins" the item on the shelf in front of him.
%% * CreepyMonotone: Josh, but usually PlayedForLaughs.
%% * CrowdedCastShot: Whenever a celebrity comes onto the show for an interview.
%% * CutHisHeartOutWithASpoon: Part of the reason why their phone-taps are so funny is the level to which annoyed/enraged the phone-tapped become.
%% * DragQueen: Elvis loves them, and frequently name-drops his favorite one, [[PunnyName Chlamydia Burns]].
%% * DumbassDJ: Played straight, invoked, subverted.
%% * TheEponymousShow: ''The Elvis Duran Show''.
* EveryEpisodeEnding: When it's time to go, Elvis will tell his fellow show members "Say peace out, everybody!" and they'll respond [[RepeatAfterMe "Peace out, everybody!"]]
%% * ExperimentedInCollege: Danielle, Bethany, and Carolina all heavily implied this is the case (respectively).
%% * FieryRedhead: Danielle, [[DyeHard though it's not her natural color]].
%% * Getting Crap Past The Radar: Due to overwhelming and persistent misuse, GCPTR is on-page examples only until 01 June 2021. If you are reading this in the future, please check the trope page to make sure your example fits the current definition.
%% * GossipyHens: Danielle's daily gossip segment.
* GoToAlias: For phone taps, most of the morning show cast members have their own character/alias that they often use:
** Skeery has Mr Michael Oppenheimer and Rod Philips
** Danielle has Mrs Moshgalopsis
** T.J.'s were John Jingle and Officer Bradshaw
* HaveIMentionedIAmGay: Elvis has to periodically remind listeners that he's gay, due to misconceptions by listeners or however else.
%% * HonoraryUncle: Uncle Johnny.
%% * ImAManICantHelpIt: Skeery (and Greg T) often say this to verbatim.
* LampshadedTheObscureReference: Elvis himself will love to do this and joke how he is so old/gay etc. that he is the only one who knows the reference
%% * MadlibsCatchphrase: PunnyName That's what they used to call me in high school!
%% * {{Mooning}}: Greg T has a habit of pulling his pants down (or being caught with his pants down) at the most random or inappropriate times
%% * ThePreciousPreciousCar: A common plot to many phone taps.
%% * RunningGagged
* SongParody: "The Panty Man", a popular one based on "The Candy Man", in addition to various others.
%% * SurroundedByIdiots: Played straight whenever Elvis says it (or when you can tell that's how he's feeling), but it's a complete inversion whenever Greg T says it!
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Elvis loves his chicken Parmesan and his Tito's Vodka.
* VacationEpisode: The show has broadcast live from the Bahamas, UsefulNotes/{{Miami}}, UsefulNotes/LasVegas, the Iowa State Fair, and London.
* YourApprovalFillsMeWithShame: Whenever Greg T or Skeery agrees with someone during a topic discussion/argument, the other cast members will point it out and joke that person should reconsider their position.
