* Pities: '''[[Pantheon/SwordsAndSabres Nu-13]]'''
* Uneasy Relationship: [[Pantheon/{{Ambiguity}} Lucifer]], [[spoiler:[[Pantheon/CouplesRelationships Yomi]]]]
* The first gods Kunitokotachi and Amenominakanushi created two siblings known as Izanagi and Izanami to task them to create an island and gave them a spear to do so. Eventually, they wanted to be mated and gave birth to two children, however, they were not considered as deities. Realizing that the male deity should do the first speaking during their marriage ceremony after asking the other deities what they did wrong, they eventually corrected it and their marriage became successful, giving birth to more islands and deities. Izanami eventually gave birth to a fire deity known as Kagatsuchi, however, his birth caused her to burn in flames and died. Mournful, Izanagi set out to Yomi to bring her back, however, his wife ate food that made her become one with Yomi and could no longer leave the place, but decided to ask for permission first. During her sleep, Izanagi removed her comb that bounds her hair and set it alight, and before his sight is his wife now no longer a beautiful figure he loved her as but as a rotting corpse. Full of fear and his love for her replaced because of what he saw, he ran away from her and put a boulder between the land of the living and the dead. Shrieking, Izanami promised him that she’ll kill a thousand men, which he retorted back with that he’ll create a thousand, five hundred more, annulling their marriage.
* [[Franchise/ShinMegamiTensei Having wanted to make amends with her ex-husband and in some universes, have actually tried out their relationship once again]], she hopes to do the same thing with his children and hearing that they are in a place called the Pantheon, she made her entrance and went to the temples of Izanagi’s currently ascended children to formally apologize to them and to patch up their relationships. Amatarasu took everything easily and even accepted her as a mother, while Susano’o is wary of her respective change, but in the end, decided to accept it since he doesn’t want to be harmed by her. Izanami decided to petition for her ascension in the Pantheon since she wants to make up for the things she did and also ultimately longs for friends that she never got to have due to being trapped in Yomi for so long.
* Being the ruler of Yomi, she wanted to do her proper job as a Goddess of Death since she used to mostly focus on her vengeance on humanity. As such, she consulted Hades (the mythological version at least), Thanatos, Persephone, Anubis, and Hel and asked them for advice on it. All of them are glad to see that she took a change of heart since her vengeance could being imbalance between life and death and gave her the advice she needed, thus all of them are on good terms.
* Izanami expressed her surprised when she saw Amaterasu turn into a wolf and that her son is also one. But she personally loves him and thinks that spending time with him would help make up all the things she did in the past. Being that she no longer opposes Izanagi and his children, Chibiterasu easily accepted her company and spends time with her if his mother allows it.
* Like Izanami’s two children and his daughter’s son, she became enemies with Yami, being the original source of evil, angry that one of his pieces tried to kill Chibiterasu, since he really grow on her. Seeing that she is in some way, his arch-enemy’s mother, Yami hated Izanami in return and wants to destroy her with Izanami hoping to see Amaterasu eliminating him for good.
* [[spoiler: Being that he’s a much more evil version of Susano’o, Izanami hates Yuuki Terumi and his personality when he became his true self made her feel guilty of herself and is ashamed that he shared some past aspects of her. Terumi could care less about her, but he also hates her since she is in good terms with his sister]].
** Due to sharing the same name as their Izanami, Ragna, Noel, Lambda-11, and Hakumen were about to attack until they realized that Izanami is a completely separate person. She stuck on good terms with them, with Noel expressing sympathy on her and can understand Hakumen on how much they want to amend for the things they’ve done. While she doesn’t like Nu-13, her opinion towards her is much more express in pity rather than hatred since they are both trapped in a dimension and the person they love rejected, which caused both of them to hate humanity. Aside from being interested that she is called the “Sword of Izanami” because of the similarities, she hopes that Nu will get a wake-up call and redeems herself someday.
* She doesn’t like Tiamat because she believes that what she is doing is a blessing to humanity as a mother and not wanting to see them progress as a society since Izanami now loves humanity and made some new human friends along the way. She wants to see her be imprisoned in the Underworld again if it wasn’t for her ascension.
* [[Manga/{{Noragami}} While she really wants to gain friends and tries to be as friendly with them as possible, she can be clingy about it]]. Being a corpse like her who wanted to be loved, Emily could easily relate to Izanami about that since they are both stuck in the underworld for a long time and she is glad that the goddess changed her ways. The two have become friends since then and Emily hopes that Izanami could hopefully reunite with Izanagi someday.
* Because he shared some aspects with Izanagi except much more worse, she hates Zeus and is disgusted at unfaithfulness towards his wife and not asking for any of the women he rapes for consent. While she sympathizes with Hera and could at least understand her reasons of attacking the women he rape, she refuses to associate with her since a lot of the women she harmed didn’t willingly submit themselves to Zeus and and the latter’s illegitimate children have nothing to do with it.
* Because their Personas are the children of Zeus, she also want to made peace with Yu Narukami, Yosuke Hanamura, Yukiko Amagi, Masao Inaba, and Yusuke Kitagawa even if they never have her as a Persona to begin with. All of them accept her apology after their uneasiness was set aside and remained on good terms with her. For Sho Minamoto, she doesn’t like him because of how much of a psychopath he is.
** Because she became one of their Personas in the Priestess Arcana and half of the members cured her sanity, she is delighted to see the Sumaru City Persona-users and became one to them once more. For their help, they are glad to see the Izanami they knew and have accepted it.
** She doesn't really mind about the other Izanami aside from the fact they share the same name, which frustrates her since it can be confusing, but she is baffled of what she thinks is humanity's desire and even after being defeated by Yu, she still does what she believes is what humanity wants and wants to give her a wake-up call for it.
* Because they are the ones who cure her sanity, Izanami thanked the Demi-Fiend and Flynn for making the right decision and as such, offers an allegiance to them in case they need it. The Demi-Fiend and Flynn are glad to see her again and that she is a version that they are familiar with, accepting her alliance to them.
** Seeing Lucifer uneases her since he did capture her twice and she doesn't want to remember the experience of what she did while being controlled because of that. Though she could see that he truly sides with humanity, she thinks that some of his actions and intentions of doing so are wrong even by her past standards.
* [[spoiler: Because she made love with her in her universe after being defeated with her, she became tense upon seeing Yomi since she only wants to be with Izanagi again. Yomi understands what Izanami wanted and has no desire to do anything to her and as such, doesn’t want to bother her again for that]].
* Because a lot of the Sharingan abilities are named after her and her husband and his children, it caught her interest and wants to see what they are made of. She is on good terms with Sasuke and Obito since they are redeemed like her and never desired to do what they did in the past ever again. As for Madara, since he still wants to do WellIntentionedExtremist ways and never change for the better, she has actively oppose him for that.
** She realized that she shared a lot of aspects with Kaguya Otsutsuki being that they armies have shared aspects of each other and being sealed in a dimension, not to mention one of her dimensions is named after Yomutsu Hirasaka, but aside from that, since Izanami doesn't hace any desire to oppose humanity, she actively hated Kaguya and thinks her reason of hating them is extremely petty because at least hers is somewhat understandable and pitiful.
* [[VideoGame/{{Smite}} Unfortunately, there are times where she switched to her much more vengeful side]] and attacked the residents of the Pantheon to fulfill it. This really saddened the people that she had made amends with and have to take drastic measures to bring her back to her lighthearted sides of herself.
** Even if they share similar views of humanity, even this version of Izanami hates Ah Puch and his actions disgusts him. Ah Puch himself is saddened by it since he wanted to become allies with this version of Izanami and felt some kind of kinship with her for that.

* The son of Hades and Persephone, Zagreus had lived his life contently in the Underworld until he had caught whiff that his previously unknown mother was living on the surface. Under the guise of joining his relatives at Mount Olympus, Zagreus fought his way out of the Underworld to meet her. Judging by how these kinds of stories go, [[EarnYourHappyEnding he succeeded in doing so and reuniting his fractured family]]. Zagreus was toiling away at his job investigating the security of Underworld (AKA beating his way out of it), only to find himself invited towards an event. He questioned if it was [[VideoGame/SuperSmashBros that tournament everybody has been ragging on]] and fought his way back out of the Underworld to check, only to find himself not outside the Temple of Styx but a completely new place entirely. There, his family (yes, his godly extensive family) surprised him and congratulated him on his placement in the Pantheon, to which he asked, “The what?” It took a bit of explaining to Zagreus on what the Pantheon was for him to understand, [[SurprisinglySuddenDeath before he died of natural causes for staying too long in the surface]]. There was an VisibleSilence amongst the gods upon realizing what just happened.
* Having been basically dead at birth and was only left alive thanks to Nyx’s constant bargaining, Zagreus can only truly roam free in places that can be best described as close to the afterlife; [[AfterlifeTropes essentially places that were meant for the dead to roam and not have the living flourish]]. As a result, Zagreus could stay in lands of the living for too long before the River of Stynx drags him back to the Underworld. A very tiresome venture, though he does do a fine job in tending his mother’s garden in his little time he has. Zagreus is grateful that he can explore places besides the Underworld in the Pantheon; those place being the House of Pantheon/UndeadAndPhasmata and the House of Pantheon/DeathAndPostmortem.
** He was initially granted the title '''God of Obscure Mythology'''. But after being sad that he wasn't able to visit his own temple, he and Nyx later requested his title to be changed to '''God of Tragic Stillborn Children''' in order for his temple to be placed within one of the Houses he frequently visited. The Court of Gods was initially hesitant to give out the Main/TragicStillbirth trope as it was supposed to be granted to mothers who experience stillbirths. However, the Court ultimately made an exception as Zagreus argued that his tale still fits the requirements given that his death caused his mother so much grief, it led to the tragic events of his world in the first place.
* Hades had warned Zagreus that he still has a job to do in regards in going through Underworld security. He was strong armed by Persephone to give Zagreus a break when it comes to the surface but if Zagreus is too long gone, [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill he sends every conceivable thing at his boy to rip him to shreds]]. Of course, Zagreus sees this is a fun challenge, but soon regrets turning up his [[SelfImposedChallenge Heat Level]] really high and wonders why is the timer if enemy spawns not turning down just yet.
* Although Zagreus was expected be very much be reviled by his extended family as his very existence was against the plans of the Fates themselves, they all adore him much shockingly. Very much odd considering the reputation for the most well known BigScrewedUpFamily out there ([[PetTheDog even Hera enjoys his presence]]). The only times they seem to actual want to throw down Zagreus if he picks one of their boons over the other, [[EasilyForgiven but then reconcile with him moments later]]. Zagreus visits them as best he could now that transportation is much faster to reach them. Zagreus actually died a few times trying to visit his relatives like Dionysis and Hermes because for some odd reason, [[AdaptationNameChange they are under entirely different names]]. Zagreus still doesn’t know what the heck a Rome is.
* Has been very much glad that most of his other fellow Underworld residents are here as well. Zagreus thought if the Fates really had let him in, then there would be an EquivalentExchange in regards to who he could interact. Fortunately, that is not the case and Zagreus was able to see many of his close companions in the Pantheon proper, not just the Underworld.
** Elated to find Achilles in the Pantheon, with Achilles having been MentorArchetype for Zagreus for almost all of his life. Zagreus found it fitting that a warrior like Achilles would be deified. With Achilles’ lover Patroclus also being present, Zagreus is glad that his efforts of reuniting the two did not go to waste.
** His great pet Cerberus seems to have a place in the Pantheon much earlier than he has, guarding the entrance to the Underworld for the longest time. Zagreus has wondered where Cerberus goes to sometimes, with this question finally being answered. Hades had warned Zagreus not to have Cerberus make a mess when going outside, [[BewareOfViciousDog as Hades has had several complaints about Cerberus doing gross animal activities on other people’s property already]].
** Nyx serves as the foster mother of Zagreus for the longest time, [[ParentalSubstitute with belief she was his mother]]. That was until a little eavesdropping incident had made Zagreus aware of a certain P word’s existence. One may find it weird, an almighty being that predates the gods having a much closer relationship to someone else’s son than many of her own children. Nyx becomes relatively more softer when Zagreus is mentioned in a positive light. If Zagreus can form a good relationship with Chaos of all people, then any person is fair game by this point.
** Might have gone ahead and went on a fling with Thanatos—[[ChildhoodFriends who grew up with Zagreus]]—several times. There are others who he tried forming relationships with but broke off, [[ItMakesSenseInContext one including a floating Medusa head]]. Zagreus is not interested in relationships at the moment, though tends to give bottles of nectar to those he wants to form friendships with.
** One last person who is a notable ally of Zagreus is Charon, the ferryman helping time and time and again during his bouts of escaping the Underworld. [[CantGetAwayWithNuthin Although Zagreus learned the hard way not to steal from the guy]], dying a few times for a measly discount. Zagreus went on to learn of Charon’s other hobby of [[VideoGame/RogueLegacy scamming a lineage of warriors to go into a castle just to die]]. Zagreus would morally oppose such a thing but considers it their loss for going in there persistently. Met a few of the poor blokes from that family who wound up back in the Underworld where they complained how easy their end was. Zagreus even had to fistfight Johannes who went on a rampage after Charon once he arrived in the Underworld, which he still considers a proud achievement because of the sorely lacking build he had on at the time.
* Surprised by various figures in the Pantheon who’s weapons Zagreus used in his escapes from the Underworld being present as well. He used the weapons of Guan Yu, Chiron, Rama, even Lucifer of all beings. Zagreus was even able to wield Excalibur, [[OnlyTheChosenMayWield a blade famous for being selective on who uses it]]. Zagreus went to visit all of these people to thank them for allowing him to use their abilities... even if much of them were born eons after him. An unfortunate incident came to be when Zagreus went on to visit Gilgamesh who started ranting on how Ereshkigal would send one of her spawn after him, to which then he activated the [[StormOfBlades Gate of Babylon]]. Zagreus would lament how much of a wasted trip that was.
* The reason why Zagreus is a scarcely mentioned Greek god is because of him being hidden away by Hades as to not upset the Fates who would probably see his existence against the natural order of things. This reason is why Zagreus had to be sworn not to go anywhere near the House of Prophecy, [[BigBrotherIsWatching as their ears are the most powerful there]]. Also, Zagreus is frequently lumped together being an alternative name for Dionysus for a reason less complicated. It was all due to a prank Zagreus played on Orpheus, Zagreus having made up the story of being ripped out of the head of Dionysus as a joke to the musician but somehow [[PoesLaw Orpheus took it seriously and spread it around]]. This peeves Zagreus off a bit (though Dionysus himself laughs at the idea), though what he really is pissed at that when he is considered a separate entity, he is not the spawn of Hades and Persephone but of ''Zeus'' and Persephone. His Lord Uncle Zeus may be a pervert but that is taking the idea too far.
* Thanks to his heritage, it is a bit difficult to pinpoint where Zagreus is in terms of what domain he is supposedly rules over. It is assumed that because of the way he is able to [[BloodMagic manipulate his blood]] makes him have domain over that at the very least, therefore also having domain over life just like his mother. Jedah Dohma was quite alarmed at learning this, thinking he would have a competitor but was relieved when he found out Zagreus cannot manipulate blood as well as he can. Though Zagreus did kick Jedah’s ass with a bow and some seeking arrows to the face.
* Made friends with a lot of people who oversee the dead. Not just because of his father but because Thanatos as well telling Zagreus that perhaps those deities would be able to help him even the slightest bit against his current predicament of being unable to remain in the land of the living. Befriended many of those [[GodOfTheDead who rule over]] or [[TheGrimReaper bring those]] to the afterlife, gaining a good standing with most of them thanks to his relations to his father (even if they have a bad attitude, it isn’t as different from Hades for Zagreus). He asked them how to be able to not be taken by the Stynx but as they all note, Zagreus is in a predicament as he technically is alive, but is bound to the realm of the dead. They compared Zagreus to a god who was born a zombie and recommended that perhaps an extremely powerful necromancer may just be what he needs.
** Zagreus searched for this supposed necromancer and managed to stumble upon Nekron and Nagash. Since Zagreus is used to interacting with those considered less than pleasant persons (aka his dad), he might as well try befriending these guys too. “Wrong move,” chided his father. When he met Nekron, he sent a group of Black Lanterns after Zagreus, gloating that once they kill Zagreus [[CameBackWrong he would be brought back from the dead as a Black Lantern under his control]]. Of course, Zagreus opted to ditch the scene as far as he could (thanks Hermes) before that could happen. His prospects were even lower when meeting Nagash, who pretty much admitted that he would pull a Nekron as well with the whole “kill you to bring you as my zombie” schtick. A good [[KillItWithIce freezing from Demeter]] allowed Zagreus to get away from that mess as well. Overall, the prince is still searching for a way to give him an extended time living in the mortal plane.
** During those incidents, Zagreus was able to befriend a few skeletons who he asked help in regards to finding a suitable necromancer. Those skeletons were Daniel Fortesque, Sans, and Papyrus. All fine chaps in their own ways. Even though Zagreus was warned multiple times by them that trying to go to Nagash or Nekron would just ask for trouble, [[TooDumbToLive he went to them anyway]]. Zagreus would sheepishly apologize to all of them over not heeding their warning earlier (to be fair, he’s always in the mindset of pushing forwards, not backwards).
* During his escapees across the Pantheon, Zagreus is aware when noticeable things he inspects or events that happen to him, a LemonyNarrator starts to narrate those things in short but detailed descriptions. Hell, because said narrator spoke about his mother it set Zagreus on the path of finding her. Learning of a narrator who seemingly has pure omnipotence, Zagreus went to see him in spite of the narrator telling him that such a venture was pointless. It turns out it basically was pointless, as the Narrator he had found sounded nothing like the one Zagreus is accustomed to. The Narrator may know who is narrating the strange life of Zagreus ([[spoiler:who is probably Creator/{{Homer}}]]), but would not talk. Whenever Zagreus comes to ask about it, [[WeNeedADistraction the Narrator stalls by distracting Zagreus with nice gestures until he literally dies]]. The dead person in question is usually pissed that this happens but is still nice to the Narrator, all things considered.
* Although he was hidden from this fact from far too long by the Olympians out of shame and fear, Zagreus learned of a man who slaughtered most of the Gods of Olympus: Kratos, the second GodOfWar. To see how strong Kratos is, Zagreus went up to the man himself and challenged him, declaring he will avenge the Olympians (just to make his father unable to scold him for the attempt). Of course, Zagreus was beaten down badly—that did not stop him from returning to challenge Kratos again... [[{{Determinator}} and again]]... [[ThirdTimesTheCharm and again]]... and Kratos only had an axe at the time. He managed to strike a good friendship with Atreus, the son of his opponent who likely felt bad for Zagreus. When Kratos is gone, Atreus always provides Zagreus good company before Styx takes him.
* Growing up on tales of his the evil progenitors of the Olympians—the Titans—Zagreus had a rather irked feeling that perhaps they would be in the Pantheon too. Sure enough, they are here and are in constant clashes with the Olympians. Zagreus once attempted to join one such battle with the limited time he had but Cronus then grabbed Zagreus and consumed him. Fortunately, the only thing Zagreus needed to do with die at the moment, in which Styx itself manifested in the stomach of his ancestor, [[AgonizingStomachWound giving his ancestor a helluva stomachache]]. The Olympians shared a toast for their kin’s bodacious plan.
* Zagreus was floored to know that all the Olympians, not just his Lord Uncle Zeus but everybody [[Literature/TheCampHalfBloodSeries started bearing children with mortals sporadically as if it were a competition]], which it might as well been. Zagreus however, was not shocked at that. He was more shocked his father [[NotSoAboveItAll actually went along with their antics]] and produced multiple half-siblings of Zagreus. Questioning his mother on why the hell Hades did this, his mother answered that it was his father was certainly not actively trying to cheat on her if that was what Zagreus is worrying about. Well... yes he did but it was out of depressed loneliness while she went away for half a year. And she should not be the one to complain since she cheated on Hades with Adonis at some point as well. [[HeroicBSOD Zagreus went out of the Underworld to look at the sunset, comprehending the scope of the dysfunctional nature the gods have]].
** Went ahead and decided to try to form a relationship with his available half-sibling, Nico di Angelo. However, Zagreus managed to get into a bit of an awkward start with him as Nico understandably does not want to have a new sibling relationship after his older sister died and [[TraumaButton almost had a trauma attack when Zagreus died in front of him]] unexpectedly. After a few more unsuccessful attempts at trying to bond with Nico, Zagreus asked his mother on how to develop form a bond with his sibling as the closest one in comparison is Thanatos... who he dated. His mother suggested perhaps he should not to try to be so invasive, and instead try to appeal to Nico through another factor Nico would be willing to listen. Zagreus went to search for Bianca who resides in the Underworld, asking what Nico would like. [[LateToTheRealization It took five minutes for Zagreus to realize that Bianca was the other factor she was implying about]]. Zagreus now shows up to Nico, relaying his sister’s messages to him. While Nico is more interested in those than his half-brother, it is at least it’s a start.
* Never thought that there can be even a more despised version of his father but the ''Kid Icarus'' Hades takes that cake. Zagreus knows all the messy little folk who try to stop his escapes must not be treated the best in the world but using every soul that ends up in the Underworld to compose what is basically demon fodder is MoralEventHorizon to put it ''lightly''. Under his father’s orders ([[GladYouThoughtOfIt which he gladly heeded]]), Zagreus is doing his best to make sure that Hades does not have reigning power over the Underworld. Zagreus even went as far to go to Skyworld to ask how to beat the Underworld, though it took a lot of convincing to have the Skyworld forces not kill him on the spot thanks to him declaring, “I am the son of Hades.” [[DidntThinkThisThrough He should have thought of a better introduction.]]
* Fanboyed over the presence of Hercules, who had been dying to fight against after the BrokenPedestal that is Theseus haunted Zagreus [[ItsAllAboutMe with his constantly arrogant demeanor]]. Hercules proudly accepted the battle challenge Zagreus had issued, but like the many battles against Lernie and Asterion, Zagreus would always fall the first time around. He went back and actually brought Hercules to his knees in the process... and then [[TheBerserker Mad Enchantment came over him]] which knocked Zagreus all the way down to the Underworld. Zagreus has not beat Berserker Hercules yet but [[FromBadToWorse fears of the idea of pushing Hercules to wield a bow]], which is somehow a million times worse than Hercules becoming nuts.
* The reason Zagreus is so persistent climbing though the hordes and hordes of opponents the Underworld provides is perhaps because Zagreus [[CombatSadomasochist enjoys the pain]] that he is given from others. Even Hades is a bit concerned on that front. To be quite fair on his end, Zagreus does not at least make it apparent that he may be experiencing ecstasy when he fights and still actively tries to avoid dying. He does not go around moaning and weirding out his enemies—unlike a certain jester who Zagreus beat up ([[NoodleIncident that is a story for another day]]). But even a son of a god cannot risk the temptations of being whipped around by royalty. [[SexIsViolence Medb always has time to punish Zagreus when he challenges her.]]
* May not know what it is like to be a Titan-sized alien who could pummel him to the ground in one stomp, but Zagreus understands the fatherly issues that he and Geed share, albeit in the latter’s case, his father is an OmnicidalManiac. In turn, Riku tells Zagreus should probably bond with his father more when they have the time to connect and not let it be in an awkward place for all of eternity. This is rather difficult, as Hades [[CelestialBureaucracy never has free time at all]] but Zagreus thanked Riku regardless for the advice.
* Spends a decent lot of time in the Soul Society, a place where he can strive thanks it being part of the afterlife. He is rather interested on the idea of a place where all spirits of the world congregate, believing it would be a great place to learn what it is like outside of Greece/the Underworld. To his confusion, [[{{Wutai}} it would seem everybody there are dressed up in conservative togas and eating lots of seafood]]. He couldn’t even find one gyro at all. Feeling ripped off at the advertising, he went to challenge those in charge to demand on the lack of representation. He was willing to march up against the Soul King himself ([[ClosestThingWeGot the closest authority figure the place has]]) for the answer but was stopped by the Shinigami. Zagreus managed to beat a few of them on his way there but the strongest amongst the Shinigami such as Retsu and Kenpachi [[NoBodyLeftBehind completely dicing Zagreus into pieces]]. Now the son of Hades sees it as a challenge to reach the Soul King as quick as he can then beat the Soul King himself. Reminder, [[UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom he does not know that doing so will end all of existence]]... and that if Zagreus just travelled a bit more, he could have reached the place that represented Greece much like how one can reach a [[Manga/BurnTheWitch2018 vastly different London]] if they know where to travel.
* Absolutely pisses himself over the Kecleon brothers. Once, Zagreus ran into their shop and decided to bite into an apple, believing he had to funs to pay for it. Then it turned out he really did not have the money at all after spending it on some upgrades elsewhere and the Kecleon brothers were enraged. He tried to book it [[ShopliftAndDie but fell to the hordes and hordes of Kecleon who ripped every limb he had on him]]. It was worst fate than being absolutely destroyed by Charon. Zagreus came back to the Underworld, now with the habit of checking his wallet every now and again.
* Never thought that the Greek gods would eventually become unpopular after the fall of Olympus, with the religion that replaced them only having a singular god that [[OfferingsToTheGods demanded a lot of sacrifices]] out of his followers. Was curious on how such a divine has a massive appeal, going to a seminar to see what it was. Unbeknownst to Zagreus, it was a GUAL seminar where they prayed to YHVH and basically listened to a preacher claim that everyone is going to hell and their eternal damnation will be lessened if they go impose their Lord’s way to others. It was then Zagreus asked a question as if he were in a classroom which set YHVH’s followers after him. He still does not know what he said wrong.
-->'''Zagreus''': So, I am the son of Hades, ruler of the Underworld. I have seen a lot of people go in that place and it is not as bad as it looks. I mean, some places there have a lot of lava but those people are still comfortable there even if they are bunch of slimy limbs-
-->'''Preacher''': [[YeOldeButcheredeEnglishe DEMON! SMITE YE WICKED BACK TO THE SATANIC DEPTHS WHENCE IT CAME!]]
* Stumbled upon Dyntos instead of Daedalus unexpectedly. Hearing such nice things about Zagreus, Dyntos went and gave Zagreus a rather ridiculous weapon to replace his own that was the combination of [[ImpossiblyCoolWeapon a trident, a bazooka, a wand, and a cannon]]. It was something the godly smith made to see if his forging skills worked even if he was BoundAndGagged against a chair and does not really care on what happens to it. Zagreus used it (dubbed the [[red:[=HELLBRINGER2019=]]]), and needless to say it completely caved a hole all the way up the surface of the Underworld. With his entire family enraged at him for causing such a mess, Zagreus quietly sold it to Rodin under his father’s orders.
* Wondered what it means to be a god of the cosmos, making Zagreus think of Chaos and his offspring such as his foster mother Nyx. But instead of a traditional god, Zagreus stumbled upon the pure {{Eldritch Abomination}}s that are the Great Ones when he “accidentally” stumbled onto them. In truth, the Amygdala were just really curious on what a son of an actual god is like and were curious in filling Zagreus with as much Insight as they could into him to see what would happen. Zagreus thankfully broke free from that by [[BetterToDieThanBeKilled slitting his own throat open]], but came back into the Underworld with a [[ExtraEyes few more eyes on his face]] than he should have. His mother having to rip every one of them out was a hassle.
* Much like Byleth in their birth, [[spoiler:Zagreus was [[TragicStillbirth born dead]] and only coming back to life thanks to divine intervention]]. Byleth has been attempting to educate Zagreus whenever he comes and visits, only somewhat getting past the stage of learning the alphabet. Not the English one, the Fodlan one. Byleth wishes to take Zagreus as a student but considering his circumstances, such an arrangement cannot be done.
* Can also be found in Pantheon/LegendaryBeings.
* ''“Beyond this point, our tale of the Underworld’s determined prince cannot further continue at this time. But time does not stand still, and more, much more, shall someday be revealed... For now, there is no more to say from here, so let us say instead that Zagreus was cruelly killed, [[RunningGag again.]]”''

* Nappa is one of the few remaining Saiyans that survived the destruction of his home planet by the Galactic Emperor Lord Frieza, serving on a team captained by the surviving prince of all Saiyans, Vegeta IV. Nappa, Vegeta and another low-class Saiyan warrior named Raditz were not only the last three survivors of this team, but a large chunk of what was left of their entire race as they served Frieza in their universal conquering. This all changed when Raditz was seemingly killed on Planet Earth after he went to check on his younger brother's mission of conquering Earth. After hearing about the Dragon Balls and their ability to grant wishes, Vegeta and Nappa travelled to Earth to use their power. It was there when Nappa showed his ruthlessness, being responsible for the deaths of four members of the Z-Warriors and on the verge of finishing off the remaining two were it not for Kakarot, known to Earth as Goku, arriving in time and defeating him. Said failure was what ultimately caused Nappa's demise at the hands of Vegeta.
* Among the deities from the Dragon Ball Universe, Nappa is unique in the sense that his personality changes radically whenever he is on duty or not. Usually when not working, [[WebVideo/DragonBallZAbridged he is said to be a bit more childish and dumb, prone to make stupid statements and doing things that would give people an aneurysm for how dumb he acts]]. He also became a Hollywood producer and the manager of Mister Satan after [[ExactWords he got revived by the Earth Dragon Balls since he was technically killed by one of Frieza's men]].
* Though there isn't much of him beyond being TheBrute, Nappa [[VillainousFriendship has a strong sense of camaraderie]] [[NobleDemon and honor]], highlighting [[ALighterShadeOfBlack how Vegeta was evil even by Saiyan standards]]. Ironically, Vegeta would be the one to find redemption. As such, he hates the House of Pantheon/BetrayalAndTreachery, [[EvenEvilHasStandards believing Saiyans need to stick together]]. His relationship with Vegeta has become quite complicated. Nappa was completely loyal, and while [[AssholeVictim he was NOT a good man]], being disposed of after serving as a lifetime companion [[AlasPoorVillain elicited some sympathy]]. He wants to get back at Vegeta for that, [[Anime/DragonballGT and tried in one continuity]]...[[CurbStompBattle to minimal effect]]. However, he's lost without him, [[LetsPlay/TwoSaiyansPlay and the two enjoy let's plays together]].
* His relationship with Raditz, on the other hand, is actually far less complicated. While Nappa would ruthlessly tease Raditz for being far weaker than both himself and Vegeta, the two maintained a loyalty as fellow Saiyan soldiers to the point Nappa even posed the question of reviving Raditz with the Dragon Balls. Their reunion in the Pantheon was a lot less tense than both their prior relationship and the current state of Nappa's ties to Vegeta. The VitriolicBestBuds dynamic remains, albeit more composed as both men consistently began training to improve. Raditz is more hell-bent on getting payback against Vegeta and Kakarot, though.
* Having been killed by the man he was nothing but loyal to, he understood where Guts' pain comes from, and sympathized with the horror he had to go down with the Eclipse. Guts doesn't reciprocate this even for a second. He also thought he might get along with Jason Todd given they're both dead sidekicks, but he just saw Nappa as another supervillain. On the other hand, he does seem to get along with Lord Hater and Commander Peepers as not only are they funny, they represent [[VillainousFriendship bonds between villains]] like he used to have with Vegeta and finds their relationship kind of heartwarming. He seems to also respect Ishida Mitsurani's loyalty, as it reminds him of his own and hopes he doesn't suffer [[YouHaveFailedMe his fate]].
* Those from the world of WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse notice he's similar to Jasper, given their [[TheBrute brute status]] and served with a short, prideful commander. [[Pantheon/HeroicRoles Steven]] wants to see Nappa redeem himself [[Fanfic/WhatIfNappaTurnedGood because of his performance as one in another timeline]]. Nappa would rather stick with the belief that EvilFeelsGood, but he has been convinced to fully defect against Frieza rather than begrudgingly serve under him so as to get revenge on Vegeta. He's trying his best to convince Raditz to do the same.
* A notable HeroKiller, having taken out most of the Z-Fighters at the time. He's proud of this status, which leads the House of Heroes to not be friendly towards him at all. Kenshiro certainly doesn't like his kind, [[BloodKnight to which Nappa relishes the challenge]]. He's found a more open opponent in Undyne, [[ChallengeSeeker who too loves herself a challenge]].
* Capable of transforming into a Great Ape in the full moon as his tail is still intact, and if some video game material is evidence he has learned to control himself in this state. He's managed to do this in the Trope Pantheon and enjoys duking it out with King Kong. King Kong seems to enjoy it as well. He isn't on good terms with most of the other apes due to his evil nature.
* Fears the Doom Slayer. Someone shoulda told Nappa as to why Doomguy's temple was made from a Titan's skull. So when Nappa went full-on Great Ape mode... it didn't end too well for the Saiyan.
* Some have wondered what [[BaldOfEvil he'd even look like]] [[GoldenSuperMode as a Super Saiyan]]. [[VideoGame/DragonballXenoverse2 Supplementary]] [[VideoGame/DragonBallHeroes materials]] would reveal he doesn't grow hair, but his eyebrows and goatee do become gold. And in Super Saiyan 3 mode, [[BeardOfEvil he grows an impressive spiky golden beard]]. He achieved this from his rage at being a ButtMonkey and suffering from CantCatchUp during the [[VideoGame/DragonBallFighterZ power-sealing waves incident caused by Android 21]], being humiliated by Gotenks for not being able to achieve Super Saiyan and even being treated as a weakling to ''Yamcha''.
* An ascended former colonel of the Saiyan Army came to him offering to join forces for revenge on Vegeta. Nappa rejected this offer. Later he found out that Raditz had joined as well as that troublemaker Turles, wondering how the hell those two would ever get along. Then Kakarot's dad made his own deal with Paragus before approaching Nappa again with a revised offer which centered around the camaraderie of the Saiyans. Not only did Nappa accept this time, Bardock got him to admit that seeing Vegeta humbled wouldn't be such a bad deal even if the two would rather not kill the Prince. The Saiyans have officially become a mercenary platoon with three conditions to their jobs: no targets that can't fight, no longterm conscription (effectively shutting out Frieza from hiring them again, to which Nappa celebrated along with Raditz), and no targeting Kakarot's friends aside from Vegeta.

* Finds quite odd: [[Pantheon/ObsceneActions Alfred Drevis]], [[Pantheon/RevealsAndTwists Monika Drevis]]
* From a land far, far away comes Laetitia, an odd little girl. She willingly came to the [[MonsterOrganTrafficking Lobotomy Corporation]] to bring joy to such a gloomy place. After all, what's the fun in a place where no-one laughs smiles? And dear Laetitia loves laughters where she's from. Alas, as with all Abnormalities there's a catch. You see, her gifts are actually pranks. The secret to her gifts revolves around her "[[BigCreepyCrawlies friends]]". Laetitia couldn't easily take her many friends with her to the Corporation, but rather than leave them behind this wee little witch chose to wrap them up as a surprise, but she doesn't anyone to know that, though! The idea is that they'll laugh about it when all is said in done, but her pranks involve her friends bursting out of peoples bodies. This little lady seeks to make new friends and is committed to bringing to cheer to the facility and won't leave until that happens, even as the company goes under due to internal conflict and a [[VideoGame/LibraryOfRuina vast deadly library is established in its place]].
* The wee witch quietly made her way to the Pantheon. She knew not of what it was about at first, only that it was as odd as the facility and library she once stayed that. Certainly, it admittedly wasn't as miserable, but she feels like there's still room for growth! So the little lady got to work into making all sorts of gifts for. It's a big world so it's a little daunting, especially for someone a bit shy like herself, but she's determined to make all sorts of new friends with her heartfelt gifts.
--> '''Laetitia:''' When you open the gift, you’ll be surprised, like 'WHOA!'
* Laetitia was pleased to hear there were other pranksters like her in the Pantheon. And there's so many of them! Wanting to blow their socks off, she worked real hard in making many, many gifts to give to them. When morning arrived she had already forwarded her stuff to Satoko Houjou, Sonozaki siblings, Bart Simpson, Tomo Takino, and Pinkie Pie onto their doorsteps. She made an extra by mistake so she ended up handing it to [[Pantheon/ComedyGenres Kenny [=McCormick=]]]. The recipients didn't know what to make of them at first for Laetitia was too shy to give them in-person (plus it was still kind of late, and knocking then would be quite rude). Then A Wee Witch's Friend burst from Kenny's body ripping apart his abdomen and scurried off to sow terror elsewhere. Certainly, their socks were indeed blown off. Laetitia hopes to keep things sporting from here on out.
--> '''Laetitia:''' How was my prank? It was fun, wasn’t it? Your face says so!
* She spends her time in the House of Pantheon/{{Arthropods}} as that's where many of her friends gather. In fact, she has set up a little workshop there to prepare her little pranks. Some of them can even be found walking around as [[HumanoidAbomination human-shaped gifts]]. Laetitia here thinks they can be. They even help her hand out her presents. Ain't that sweet? Too bad her other friends get especially feisty around those with her gifts, but she's sure they'll get along in the end.
** While working on more pranks she noticed her friends scurrying off to other parts of the House. She didn't want them becoming a bother for the local residents so she took to going after them. Luckily, they didn't cause too much of a fuss for Arachne and ended up becoming friends with her anyways. Sometimes, Laetitia lets them help out with the gift-making, but don't tell anyone else that. What's more, they introduced her to Muffet and the little miss got along pretty well with her too. She quite likes her bakery treats, usually taking at least three each day, and thinks her reasons to raise money is such a nice thing to do.
* Though a prankster with a [[BlueAndOrangeMorality truly skewed view on the consequences of her gifts]] she finds SCP-1048 quite mean for her tastes, even as a fellow prankster. It was a shame, because he acted so nice before and it looked like he could become another friend of hers. Alas, his jokes are far too mean-spirited for anyone to enjoy them, and didn't appreciate him hurting her friends for his amusement involving his family. And though the Xenomorph works a bit similarly to her friends in terms of suprises it doesn't get along with her circle at all. Not one bit. It and the bear-guy might be the biggest meanies she had the displeasure of meeting.
--> '''Laetitia:''' Friends don’t fight each other. Nopers!
* Finds the existence of a House dedicated to Pantheon/{{Laughter}} a wonderful thing but finds the idea of visiting it a bit daunting. I mean, think of all the many different types of folk who partake in laughter! Who wouldn't be intimidated by that? To prepare for this, she has been preparing a super-duper-uber-mega special present for when she musters up the courage to go there one day. She'll give it, it opens up, they all laugh, and they can be her friend.
* Much of Laetitia can be seen as quite puppet-like in nature. The cute clothes befitting a doll, skin as perfectly pale as porcelain, the red lazy eyes, robotic-like movements... she's accompanied by a music box track! It's quite unnerving, even with the [[ArtShift perception filter]] in place, though many admit it does circle back to being [[CreepyCute cute]]. At one point did the little girl meet a Puppet involved with the Fazbear franchise and got along with it as it seemed like a swell friend to be around. Half of the time spent together is the two making a very special gift that the Puppet wants to give to [[Pantheon/{{Zombies}} a certain person]] in the Pantheon. She doesn't really get what the Puppet is hinting at, but Laetitia doesn't want to ask. That would ruin the surprise, after all, and they've been working so hard on this project of theirs.
** As for other dolls there lies Suigintou, Suiseiseki and Souseiseki. The wee miss figured they would be easy to befriend given they both share a similar taste in fashion but it wasn't meant to be. They seem to make an effort to avoid her at all times. Is it because of her pranks? But Laetitia doesn't see anything wrong with them. Maybe it's a little unexpected, but it's just cute suprises that's all. Perhaps she'll give them secretly and they'll see her way of thinking, the first of which going to Suigintou. The wee witch thinks she could lighten up a bit. And Suiseiseki should be able to explain it clearly, being yet another prankster. They'll stop hating her, and then they'll all laugh about it, and then they can even be friends right after.
* With the ascension of [[Pantheon/{{Economics}} Lobotomy Corporation]], a new cell has been made for Laetitia, though given her new companions, she's still allowed to go out on occasion. Agents assigned to Laetitia are instructed to only associate with her and to stay nearby. At least they can switch out at the end of the day without fear of her "Gift" bursting from within.
* All Abnormalities have acquirable E.G.O equipment and Laetitia is no different. Among the three categories of equipment are weapons and for some reason hers is one of the few which takes the form of an actual firearm (pewpew!). In fact, the witch's weapons is straight up a {{shotgun|sAreJustBetter}}. This has made some of the people jokingly ask if she's "packing heat" or something along those lines, whatever that means.
** The other E.G.O. equipment for the record are a pink suit (that confers decent protection to the mind and body, but leave them more vulnerable to [[PercentDamageAttack PALE damage]]), and a hat like her own but with a bell that grants extra mental fortitude. And with L Corp in the Pantheon, they are available to acquire.
* For some reason, Aya Drevis is quite apprehensive towards her, something about not liking dolls after what happened with her father. Laetitia here tried to give a gift of good will through Maria, Aya's housemaid, but they both got rid of it and Aya went around bringing harm to her friends. Could believe that? How rude. But speaking of her father, maybe it's something with her family. Aren't families usually pretty happy? Things seem quite tense with Alfred and Monika Drevis. But Alfred wants to turn Aya into a [[LivingDollCollector doll]], something like her apparently, and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with that. But Monika wants Aya to grow up to be like her [[MadScientist father]], which is also looks quite benign but her husband is vehemently against that. It's all so confusing...
* [[https://www.reddit.com/r/LobotomyCorp/comments/j0wbsh/mcdonalds_two_page_comic_inspired_by/ One time]], she was driven to UsefulNotes/McDonalds by the [[SerialKiller Forsaken Murderer]] alongside [[CrazyJealousGuy Child of the Galaxy]] and [[ActionBomb Scorched Girl]] at their request. They are sincerely thankful for the Forsaken Murderer as it was very tasty! She hopes to one day become proper friends with [[Pantheon/SocialAndRecreationalWork Ronald McDonald]] because of this. Hm? How did she and the gang manage to find a functional [=McDonalds=]? Ask mister Forsaken. He drove them, after all.

* Complicated Relations: [[Pantheon/AlignmentChanges Rick Blaine]]
* Fred C. Dobbs is a down-on-his-luck American in Mexico, looking for work just as the oil boom dies. A chance encounter with Bob Curtin, a guy in the same situation as him, and Howard, an old and experienced prospector, lead them on a search for gold in the Sierra Madre mountains. They dug in the mountains for months, obtaining a considerable fortune for all involved, however Dobbs grew more and more greedy and paranoid that Curtin and Howard would try to backstab him to get his share. Howard had to leave the party and entrusted his share to Dobbs and Curtin until they met again, but Dobbs incapacitated Curtin and took off with all the gold. He then had the bad luck of running into some bandidos, who killed him and took his possessions, scattering the gold to the wind as they mistook it for regular sand. Curtin and Howard couldn't help but laugh at the irony of it all when it was over.
* Was allowed to ascend as his personal story is an excellent example of how greed can easily be the cause of someone's undoing; Dobbs' lust for riches almost completely eroded away his sanity and alienated the closest thing he had to friends, all before he met his unfortunate end. Thus he was deemed a stellar choice for DeathByMaterialism. Unfortunately it seems like Dobbs has kept his entire toxic mindset intact and will continue to hunt for fortune as long as he draws breath. If anything, he thinks that a place like the Pantheon must have a lot more riches ready for the taking than a lousy mountain in the Mexico desert.
* Does not have a lot of friends seeing as he's so unpleasant and downright nasty, plus few are willing to put up with his extensive paranoia that everybody is trying to put one over on him. What he does have are more often business partners who will opportunistically go in search of wealth alongside him, leading to uncertain and temporary alliances that have each participant look over their shoulder all the time. These "allies" have included Wario, who never misses a chance to benefit himself financially, Flintheart Glomgold, who's willing to invest in Dobbs' expeditions so long as he gets his share in hopes of beating Scrooge at being rich, and likewise Rafe Adler, who's not quite so greedy but is always interested in seeing what treasures Dobbs can find.
* Besides the fact that Dobbs has an on-and-off alliance with his great rival Glomgold, Scrooge [=McDuck=] is filled with contempt for Dobbs given how he is completely driven by his greed to the point where he will happily backstab his partners even when he already has more than enough. Dobbs often justifies his attitude by saying those partners would have certainly backstabbed him eventually so they could keep his share. Scrooge does not believe this to be the case at all, at least as far as Curtin and Howard are concerned, and thinks such cynical views help nobody. He feels that even if Dobbs struck it rich, he would never be at peace with himself since he most likely would not have achieved it fair and square if he keeps going the way he's on. Dobbs, characteristically, thinks Scrooge is just trying to hold him back so he can hoard more wealth for himself and disregards him.
* Hearing there are dragons such as Smaug and Fafnir that keep astronomical fortunes deep in their dens, Dobbs regularly draws up strategies for getting in their lairs and getting out again unscathed and carrying as much of their belongings as he can. The fact that they are, you know, ''dragons'', which would chop him up or roast him for taking even a single coin of their hoard, only gave him momentary pause before his greed and madness overruled any reason (not like it's the first time). He justifies these risky enterprises by claiming those giant lizards do nothing useful with their money and just roll around in it, which seems rather more selfish than him bringing their money out and putting it into circulation. For what it's worth, he has gotten away with raiding Smaug and Fafnir's lairs a few times, and so is hated with a passion by the two.
* A less fortunate run-in with a monster happened when Dobbs stopped by the House of Emotion. The sheer power of his greed drove [[Pantheon/{{Consumption}} No Face]] crazy and he went on a rampage as he chased Dobbs around, gobbling up several other deities while Dobbs himself managed to elude him for some time, but ultimately got eaten too. [[Pantheon/{{Destinations}} Chihiro]] had to intervene to calm No Face down and everybody was safely regurgitated. Everybody knew Dobbs was to blame for the rampage, but Dobbs, in a rather foul mood after what happened, simply shrugged them off and left, saying he would just never again step foot in a House where there was little of value to be found and he ran the risk of being swallowed by a monster out of nowhere. Chihiro is glad if that's the case, though she can't say she likes Dobbs' attitude.
* It has come to Indiana Jones' attention that he apparently owes much of his aesthetic to Dobbs, most notably his trademark fedora. Dobbs seems perversely amused that one of the more admired heroes in the Pantheon wouldn't exist in the form is known for if it weren't for him, who is constantly reviled for his greed. Indy for his part finds it all kind of ironic, considering the kind of man Dobbs is; in fact, a lot of the people Indy comes to blows with in his adventures end up succumbing to the same flaws as Dobbs and dying some grisly death because of their materialistic desires. Indy thinks it's pointless to make his predecessor of sorts see the error of his ways, since he is so set on his crazed cynicism. They have since occasionally come to blows when meeting in a place that could have treasure. By extension, Dobbs also made enemies with other adventurer archaeologists like Nathan Drake, Lara Croft, and the League of Explorers given that they also dealt with people like him on their adventures.
* In one instance he took a break from his expeditions at Rick's Cafe, wherein he caught sight of the proprietor himself and thought it was a neat trick that they looked exactly alike. Rick would be lying to himself if he said he didn't return the interest for similar reasons and for a while he sat with Dobbs for conversation whenever he came to the Cafe. Of course, word of Dobbs' actions eventually reached Rick as well and he was no longer so friendly, though he saw no reason to ban Dobbs from the place either, as long as he was a paying customer. Dobbs was fairly disappointed and said to Rick he thought they understood each other, to which Rick said he understood him all right, as he had seen a fair number of people like Dobbs meet their end at Casablanca. He added that he didn't care what Dobbs did either way, just don't get him involved in his messes. Some time later, Dobbs learned of Rick's actions in helping two resistance fighters at a cost to himself, realizing that they are pretty different after all, as Rick has that damned thing called conscience. They've been distant from each other since.
* Father Elijah is a man with a similar story to Dobbs, taking place in the Sierra Madre even. There was some treasure inside the Sierra Madre Casino's vault and many people wanted to get their hands on it at any cost. Father Elijah was one of them and took the despicable step of enslaving his competitors with {{Explosive Leash}}es to help him break in, justifying his actions by saying something like he's chastising sinners for their materialism, which is a pretty rich thing to say as he's just as guilty of it. He ended locked inside the vault with no means of escape. All Dobbs had to say about these events is that Elijah sounds like a blasted idiot and typically doesn't see in the least that any of this applies to him. However, hearing about the ExplosiveLeash thing seems to have done the trick for keeping Dobbs from forming any sort of alliance with Elijah, as he won't be the fool who ends up with such a contraption around his neck. Having learned of this, Elijah thinks it's best to get rid of Dobbs as a potential rival instead of trying to bring him to his side (though he thinks it's a pity given their shared connection to the Sierra Madre).
* Since he had some bad encounters with bandits in life, one of which ended in his gruesome death by machete, Dobbs is extra cautious as there are a fair few such characters in the Pantheon and he is determined never to get cornered by them again. One of the more notorious bandits is Yosemite Sam, who is so boisterous and loud one can sense him from quite some distance, which Dobbs is thankful for as that gives him more preparation time to deal with him, even if Sam's terrible temperament also makes him somewhat unpredictable. And still on the topic of wild west archetypes, Dobbs once got help from John Marston in fending off Sam, although afterwards Marston quickly dissociated himself from Dobbs after learning what kind of man he was; he has dealt with plenty of the greedy bastards that Dobbs reminds him of to put up with him any further.

* John Fitzgerald "Jack" Kennedy. The fourth of four presidents to be assassinated, and hopefully the last. A handsome, charismatic rich child and Irish Catholic, he would (so far) be the youngest man ever elected[[note]]T.R doesn't count because he got the job because his president was killed[[/note]] and serve almost three years in office. It was quite an eventful presidency, with him navigating one of the closest points the world got to WWIII, the civil rights issue and other policies, particularly Cold War ones. After the elderly Eisenhower he was considered a fresh new face, and his assassination was seen as a national tragedy. For a variety of reasons (not helped by the apparent vigilante execution of his assassin) a lot of Americans think there's a conspiracy behind his death, instead of being just a lone Marxist ex-Marine. It's also good fodder for works of fiction to speculate about.
* President John F Kennedy is not the only U.S President to have conspiracy theories around their death; in fact it goes as far back as the rumors one UsefulNotes/ZacharyTaylor was poisoned by Southerners instead of simple cholera[[note]]his autopsy disproved this, btw[[/note]], but he is by far the most talked about. When he was asked the question on [[WhoShotJFK who shot him]], he was annoyed. He pointed out he obviously wouldn't know, that he would prefer people focus on his actions and legacy as a politician rather than how he died and instead of making insane theories [[TakeThat they should do something more productive in life]]. That said, upon ascending he is aware there are a lot of different answers across the multiverse and bringing that up is a fair point. Some deities even have memories of their own version of his assassination.
** When it comes to real history, the usual culprits for who "really" assassinated him include the CIA, Lyndon B Johnson (which is often tied into the idea his response to Vietnam would've been different), Fidel Castro (due to the whole Bay of Pigs fiasco and the many attempts to assassinate him), the mafia or some other group who had a reason to not like him. Again, not helped by [[SuspectExistenceFailure Oswald being victim of a]] VigilanteExecution. [[WebAnimation/HistoryMatters Apparently]] the people in charge of the USSR [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFEZiFosi8I were worried someone in the KGB or other Soviet agency may have been involved]] and they co-operated to make sure things didn't escalate.
** The Comedian may or may not have assassinated him. According to the film he did, but according to ''ComicBook/BeforeWatchmen'' he was somewhere else at the time. Instead, Eddie Blake was behind the ''other'' Kennedy assassination, a fact JFK is even more livid over. Jack Kennedy is generally disgusted at the Comedian's actions while serving the government and wishes that he had been court-martialed while he was still alive. Dr Manhattan and him are on a lot better terms, having met with JFK asking what it's like to be a superhero and getting told "You should know, Mr. President."
** It is all but stated that one Alex Mason shot him in his timeline, however he was very much a ManchurianAgent. Because of this and various other things he was forced to do against his will, President Kennedy is sympathetic to him even if he technically killed him in his universe. Kennedy is trying to help him with bringing Nikita Dragovich under international condemnations for his war crimes. He's quick to point to Dragovich that [[HeWhoFightsMonsters he's guilty of many of the crimes]] [[ANaziByAnyOtherName of the same Axis power both their nations fought against]] and that he imagines [[UsefulNotes/NikitaKhrushchev Khrushchev]] wouldn't be fond of sharing a first name with him either.
** Part of the reason why ''Series/DoctorWho'' had a poor showing with its debut episode is because it came out ''the day'' after the Kennedy assassination. Perhaps unsurprisingly [[Pantheon/TimeAndTemporality the Doctor]] was present at least once there. [[NoodleIncident No-one knows what the 9th Doctor was doing]], but it's presumed he was trying to answer WhoShotJFK. Another ambiguous figure who may or may not have been involved with the assassination is Randall Flagg, who had a passing acquaintance with Lee Harvey Oswald. Flagg is a malicious [[TheGadfly Gadfly]] who has been involved with various extremist groups [[ForTheEvulz just to cause a problem]] and even if there's no evidence it would be in-character to encourage Oswald. As [[CompleteMonster a completely malevolent entity]] Jack Kennedy holds him in contempt no matter what role he had.
** According to the Ultimate Universe, the Red Skull killed him; the sad thing is that this is one of his lesser crimes. Being a card-carrying Nazi an American who fought in WWII like John F Kennedy hates him on principle, and that's not even getting into the prime Skull's litany of horrible actions. [[Film/XMenDaysOfFuturePast A young Magneto was imprisoned over suspicion that he killed Kennedy]], but he insists that he was trying to ''save'' Kennedy because [[BeethovenWasAnAlienSpy he was a mutant]]. JFK won't say he's a mutant, but he will say that he should probably push not just for black civil rights, but mutant ones too. However he doesn't trust Magneto, [[WellIntentionedExtremist which is understandable]].
* JFK's time in the House of Pantheon/OtherDimensions has bummed him out as he has found that many timelines where he survived ended poorly, [[Literature/ElevenTwentyTwoSixtyThree and in some cases]] [[TimeCrash outright apocalyptically]]. Most embarrassingly, [[Series/RedDwarf in one timeline his fooling around and other vices]] had him choose to set the timeline back into place [[TemporalSuicide by assassinating himself]]. President Kennedy has made it clear that if he must die to ensure the best timeline, [[HeroicSacrifice so be it]]. He doesn't blame the SCP Foundation for trying to keep his assassination occurring in order to stop the area from being cluttered by timeline anomalies. He cheered up a bit after learning of [[AlternateHistory universes where his survival was more positive]], such as the reality of ''Literature/BlueSkiesInCamelot''.
* John F Kennedy is the great-grandson of Irish immigrants and he was the first Roman Catholic to become president. At the time his religion was an issue brought up during his campaign, but sixty years later it was a non-issue [[UsefulNotes/JoeBiden for the next Catholic president]]. This faith let him find some kinship with Asia Argento. A few eyebrows were raised when [[ThatCameOutWrong she thanked him because his assassination made sure Roman Catholics weren't seen as minorities any longer]]. [[LateToThePunchline After realizing what she just said]], Asia apologized profusely afterward but Kennedy assured her he got her message. The two sometimes seek religious advice from Father James O'Flathery. JFK holds a lot of pride for his Irish heritage, and will sometimes have interviews with other notable Irish deities such as [[Pantheon/NationalMentalities Aran Ryan]].
* Was born too early to meet Theodore Roosevelt, but despite being from different parties he admired him for his conviction, accomplishments, learnedness and general badassery. Both have even published their own books prior to their presidency. And like T.R JFK is also a HandicappedBadass, as he suffered from APS-2 which barred him from entering the military at the time until he trained himself hard enough to be enlisted. He would also have consistent back problems from an injury in the war. Naturally John F Kennedy was excited to see how many presidents he recognized were in the Trope Pantheon, including some he personally met like FDR and Gerald Ford[[note]]though he wouldn't be president for another 11 years after JFK[[/note]], the former had Kennedy's dad serve as his ambassador to Great Britain.
** It's a common mistake to think that JFK was the youngest man to become president. He's the youngest ''elected'', but when T.R inherited his term because of an assassination he was a year younger than Kennedy when he was inaugurated.
* One of two worthwhile mentions with other presidents is Nixon...well, his head in a jar. In his old life they used to be friends but had a falling out when they competed in the incredibly close 1960 election[[note]]close enough there were allegations of voter fraud[[/note]], [[VideoGame/CallOfDutyBlackOps though they later fought off against zombies invading the Pentagon]]. Nixon's head [[SanitySlippage has lost it]] and [[HistoricalVillainUpgrade embraced his reputation]] as a PresidentEvil, which JFK obviously doesn't approve of but he does feel bad seeing [[WeUsedToBeFriends a former friend]] wrought so low. Of course, he's not blind to the fact Nixon had a controversial real presidency either, though Kennedy has had his own mistakes like the Bay of Pigs fiasco. The other is Abraham Lincoln. Normally they're cordial but [[WesternAnimation/CloneHigh they have high school clones]] [[SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan that tend to butt heads]]. Jack isn't proud his clone is a JerkJock [[CharacterDevelopment but likes that he's starting to mature]]. The OG Lincoln and Kennedy like to play up their clone's rivalry with one another, but it's mainly tongue-in-cheek.
* Speaking of ''WesternAnimation/CloneHigh'', JFK [[HistoricalHilarity finds the show rather funny]] and [[OtherMeAnnoysMe and though he thinks his clone's kind of a tool]] he likes that he's a FountainOfMemes. And yeah, Cleopatra's clone being his clone's ex he gets. Jack Kennedy wishes that he could [[VideoGame/FateGrandOrder get the Servant treatment]], but he's too recent a historical figure to qualify. And while he was born in the [=1910s=], [[ValuesResonance he doesn't have a problem that his clone was raised by a gay couple]]. In fact, [[GayBestFriend one of his closest friends, Lem Billings, was gay]]. Given his support of the civil rights movement, albeit with a lot of the work completed by his successor, he is seen positively by many African-Americans. Conversely, some really racist gods don't like him, such as Bob Ewell who wishes he lived long enough to celebrate his assassination. Though JFK considers him [[HateSink disgusting]], he's not wasting his time to beef with him directly.
* John F Kennedy holds nothing but contempt for Frank Underwood and his [[CompleteMonster monstrous actions]] trying to become, and later as U.S President. He's also strongly opposed to the [[AlternateHistory SBR timeline's]] 23rd president Funny Valentine for trying to make America a shining capital at the expense of every other nation. [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking Plus he thinks renaming the country "The United States Of Valentine"]] [[{{Egopolis}} is pure vanity]]. He was also quick to point out the fact that so much of Lex Luthor's own time as president was spent on opposing Superman and other superheroes/petty things instead of using his brilliance to truly improve the country [[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist demonstrate his priorities]]. His mislike of Luthor is furthered by the fact in real life he was a big ''Franchise/{{Superman}}'' fan and continued to read the comics into his adulthood and presidency. In fact there's a comic where Clark would entrust him with his SecretIdentity by pretending to be him, though the comic got delayed because of his assassination. Supergirl also met him and Jackie [[ComicBookTime when he was a contemporary president]], [[EvenTheGirlsWantHer and thought his wife was gorgeous]].
* Steers clear for Senator Armstrong who he considers batshit insane. The senator came into his temple one time, telling JFK on his [[TheSocialDarwinist ideal vision for America]]. After hearing the stories of Armstrong, Kennedy politely said no and slammed the door before barricading it and contacting Raiden. He was horrified after seeing the ''Franchise/{{Fallout}}'' universe and what [[EldritchAbomination monstrosities]] wandered around the wastelands. President Kennedy held special disdain for the Enclave for turning the [[OppressiveStatesOfAmerica US into a hellhole]] and is one of their biggest opponents. Shockingly, even to Roosevelt, Kennedy has a distaste for Liberty Prime due to the fact that it is primarily used by the KnightTemplar Brotherhood of Steel. He'd rather prefer the Iron Giant who is much like Liberty Prime except it [[IAmNotAGun refuses to be used as a weapon]].
* He wanted to converse with a prime minister for a bit but then the only one available to talk to was the Master who prattled on about his [[Recap/DoctorWhoS29E12TheSoundOfDrums tenure as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom]]. Kennedy promptly banned and kicked out the Master after hearing [[PresidentEvil what he did during his time in office]] and had the Doctor make his temple TARDIS-proof so the insane Time Lord may never get in. He also helped him prep for the various Nazis in the Trope Pantheon, chief of all the Red Skull. Some Nazi deities were amused by the fact Jack's WWII girlfriend [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inga_Arvad may have been a German spy]]. John F Kennedy also considers [[DirtyCommunists evil communists]] as enemies, not helped by his official assassin being a Marxist who defected to the Soviet Union for a time. He's called Nikita Dragovich, Vladimir Makarov and their ilk "threats not just to American interests, but ''Russian'' interests too!"
* As much as there are politicians he dislikes, there are plenty he's grown warm to. Seeing Padme Amidala [[Creator/NataliePortman reminded him]] [[Film/{{Jackie}} of his wife]], and seeing her in person he imagines his First Lady would get along with her; Padme has an admirable political integrity, dedication to democracy and the greater good. There are also some fictional presidents that JFK is able to respect, such as President Whitmore and President Bartlet. He has a lot of respect from Americans in or working around the House of Pantheon/MilitaryAndWarfare for his service in the Pacific Theatre. He had served on Motor Torpedo Boats where he famously rescued all surviving crew members to an island after their vessel got rammed by a Japanese Destroyer. He even had to tow one crew member by clenching the the life-jacket's strap between his teeth. His older brother Joseph Kennedy Jr also served, but he was sadly killed in action. While he and Captain America hold a lot of mutual respect for one another, they also have their service in the same war. Cap also has Irish heritage like the Kennedys. The two of them are naturally able to sympathize with Charlie's Company as well.
** Speaking of the Japanese Navy, Kennedy really does not know what to think of ''VideoGame/KanColle''. It's not like he straight up dislikes it (especially since an [[GorgeousGaijin American Vessel is represented now]]), the thing that bothers him is that the ''[[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_destroyer_Amagiri_(1930) Amagiri]]'', the same ship that rammed him and killed two of his crew is there. Granted, she's a nicer girl than he would have thought and even had a HistoricalInJoke or two referencing him.
* One of John F Kennedy's most famous actions as president was dealing with the Cuban Missile Crisis, perhaps the closest the Cold War got to becoming WorldWarIII. [[Film/XMenFirstClass According to some sources]], the early X-Men actually helped resolve the crisis and to that Kennedy is quite grateful. For President Kennedy, his greatest fear is a nuclear war breaking out, and has even had a nightmare [[Literature/TheCubanMissileWar of a timeline where the Cuban Missile Crisis escalated to that]]. The Lich is to JFK "a sum of my fears, [[AllegoricalCharacter a manifestation of nuclear war]] [[OmnicidalManiac that seeks to finish off what radiation and blocking the sun could not]]". [[spoiler:[[WesternAnimation/AdventureTimeFionnaAndCake And in one timeline]], [[TheBadGuyWins the Lich actually accomplished that]].]]
* One of the criticisms that Kennedy has faced post-mortem [[ReallyGetsAround is his serial philandering]]. [[UsefulNotes/WarrenGHarding He's not the first president with this reputation]] but he is the first otherwise celebrated president. Most are still willing to look past that [[MrViceGuy as reckless/lustful traits aside he's a pretty good guy and skilled president]]. Hera is not, and despises him for breaking his marriage vows, but Jack feels the way she punishes her husband's affair partners and illegitimate children, [[DoubleStandardRapeDivineOnMortal even if they weren't exactly consenting]], is deplorable. For his flaws as a husband President Kennedy still cares deeply for Jackie and he respects those like Hinata for their love and devotion to their partner.
** One of the most well-known affairs John F Kennedy had was with Creator/MarilynMonroe. Well OK, it's not 100% confirmed but has been strongly speculated. [[Pantheon/{{Metafiction}} Deadpool]] disguised himself as Marilyn in order to bait out JFK's zombie, and needless to say [[FanDisservice Kennedy wishes he didn't see it]]. Yeah he wasn't himself and doesn't fault Wade for taking him out in that form, but still.
* Despite his popularity John F Kennedy will admit he's fallible, even outside of the whole infidelity thing. Famously he admitted in a speech the whole Bay of Pigs thing was a failure. Jack Kennedy isn't proud to admit that his family made bank during Prohibition and while he was personally never involved, his dad has some ambiguous ties to the mafia. On the flip side, Bobby Kennedy fought against the mob. Would you be surprised the mafia is one of the "usual suspects" in JFK conspiracy theories? One CIA agent with experience dealing with the mob, John Donovan, tried to figure out who really killed Kennedy, which in his universe ''was'' because of the mafia (and other corrupt politicians). JFK definitely appreciates the help even if he thinks he's somewhat amoral; unlike some conspiracy theorists he was acting within a decade of the assassination. Another flaw of Jack Kennedy is his dependency on various medical drugs, prescribed by a DrFeelgood. It might've affected his judgement in things like the Cuban Missile Crisis. President Kennedy is trying to get help from the House of Pantheon/HealthAndDiseases to deal with his pain and other issues in a more responsible and efficient manner, in order to keep his judgement clear.
* He is still quite distraught over what happened to his family thanks to the supposed "[[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kennedy_curse Kennedy curse]]". Madoka came up to him and comforted the president, being reminded by all her friends who have [[CharactersDroppingLikeFlies passed on]]. His death is also rumored to be part of [[https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curse_of_Tippecanoe the Curse of Tippecanoe]] where from 1840-1960, everyone who won the presidential election in a year ending with zero died in office. JFK is glad that the curse stopped with him thanks to [[UsefulNotes/RonaldReagan Reagan]] surviving his shooting. President Kennedy has been studying the House of Pantheon/LuckAndFortune because enough time in the strange new world of the Trope Pantheon actually made him wonder if he was under a curse. He also looked up some alternate history if his brother Bobby wasn't shot and became president. [[WebAnimation/AlternateHistoryHub One mortal decided]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhUmi0Jf35c to theorize how that'd play out]], concluding that he wouldn't be bad at it but he just wouldn't live up to the hype.
* [[Recap/TheSimpsonsS9E19SimpsonTide Grandpa Simpson still thinks he's a secret Nazi after saying "Ich ben ein Berliner" while they were both on PT-109]]. Some thought it was him being an UnreliableNarrator, but Jack Kennedy confirmed it was true and he's still pissed about it. Abe hasn't made a good case for himself as he was so bad at checking for mines [[MedalOfDishonor he got the Iron Cross]], and proved to be a poor father to [[Pantheon/{{Fathers}} Homer]]. Case in point, [[Recap/TheSimpsonsS6E10GrampaVsSexualInadequacy how harsh he shut down young Homer wanting to be president after seeing JFK on TV]]. John F Kennedy's own dad might be questionable, but Jack himself is nothing but a loving and doting dad. However, [[ParentsAsPeople he recognizes Abe does have his moments of being a good dad]] and was dealt a bad hand, plus like Homer [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold he's not a complete tool]]. They get along a little bit better whenever they visit a pub in Ireland, [[Recap/TheSimpsonsS20E14InTheNameOfTheGrandfather as Abe still has fond memories of the country]].
* Speaking of Springfieldians, Mayor Quimby is a clear parody of him and his brothers, mainly the more sleazier side. JFK knows he's an exaggeration and [[MayorPain has no right being mayor]], [[ActuallyPrettyFunny but he thinks it's a good parody]] and has invited Quimby to an Irish pub. [[VitriolicBestBuds Yeah, he still thinks Quimby's a boob, but also like to be casual and candid with him]]. Occasionally James Dean invites them over to race cars. Jack Kennedy was a friend of a number of celebrities like Frank Sinatra and he was surprised to see there was a version of Dean that became president, though he does have to wonder [[WellIntentionedExtremist if some of the things he does are good]]. But he's charismatic and by all accounts has America's best interest, so they get along.
* Note: Him holding this trope does not mean we are suggesting that Kennedy assassinated himself. We think...well OK [[Series/RedDwarf there was that one time]] but that's the only time we know of. Also, he prefers not to be reminded the last thing he heard before he was shot was "[[IronicLastWords Mr. President, you certainly can't say Dallas doesn't love you]]". He's also not all that comfortable around Caranco [=M91/38=] as she is the personification of the type of gun used to assassinate him. You can definitely mention his dream of getting a man on the moon by the end of the decade was accomplished, though, and President Kennedy is fond of visiting the House of Pantheon/SpaceAndCosmos from time to time.

* Having a twin is an experience that tends to be inseparable, given you're born alongside them. This is the case for sisters, Mio and Mayu Amakura, who would often play with one another. After visiting their favorite childhood playspot in Minakami, the sisters witness a ''crimson butterfly'' and pursue it, ending up in an abandoned village. What follows is a series of malevolent ghosts who target the sisters, followed by Mayu suddenly missing. Equipped with the Obscura Camera, Mio sets off to rescue and protect Mayu at all costs whilst also dealing with the fact that she has to witness the downfall and last day of the village.
** Although Mio was able to uncover a ghostly spirit known as Sae as the one behind the village's downfall, she is ultimately forced to choose a [[HumanSacrifice sacrifice]] between her or Mayu. There are [[MultipleEndings different choices with their own set of consequences]], but it seems the one that is confirmed {{Canon}} is when Mio sacrifices Mayu, which has left her traumatized and emotionally broken. Her grief is what results in her receiving the Tattooed Curse. She was imprisoned in the Manor of Sleep due to being unable to [[SurvivorsGuilt overcome the loss of Mayu]] and she's made it clear that she intends to pass away so that she could be [[TogetherInDeath reunited with her sister]].
* Mio and Mayu's ascension was complicated. They both entered together, but their destinations were different. Mio ended up in the House of Pantheon/FamilyAndRelatives whereas Mayu was found in the House of Pantheon/LifeAndVitality. Both houses were confused at the appearance of a dark-clad, short-haired girl, but the two were able to tell the difference between the girls by their hairstyle; while they're identical, Mio has a gap at the right side of her fringe, whereas Mayu lacks any. This cleared out the identification issue, but they were more perplexed at how both girls ended up in different places.
** Many speculated that because Mayu died in the sacrificial ritual, she ended up in the House of Life and Death because of that. Mio being a survivor ended up at a different destination. The Pantheon/CourtOfTheGods decided to arrange a meeting with the two sisters, with the Heroic Protectors of Family and the Ghostbusters sent to pick up and escort Mio and Mayu respectively. The operation was a success and the sisters had a tearful reunion with Mio promising to never let Mayu go through the same pain and suffering that they had to go through back in their mortal lives.
** Despite their reunion, The Court still had questions about Mio and Mayu, namely how they were able to ascend together, yet one of each ending up in different places, which felt incredibly odd as something like this hardly happens in the Pantheon. Mio didn;t have much to state, but Mayu recalled seeing a collection of "bright circles" flying over her to come with them, but she made a dash for a safe zone, sensing that they were up to no good. It didn't take long before finding out that the "bright circles" Mayu bought up were Boos under the orders of King Boo. With the situation of Carol Anne Freeling that occurred not too long before Mio and Mayu's ascension, King Boo has become a major target for accusations of torment and kidnappings surrounding ghosts and its only a matter of time before he becomes major headlines. For now, the Court has decided to place Mio and Mayu in rehabilitation in the hopes that they could recover emotionally and mentally.
* Because of their arrival on two different houses, Mio and Mayu were given a position in the Twins and Reasons for Death sub-houses, which described the end-situation they were forced into. They winced on the prospect of their trope, but have decided to accept it. What matters more is that they're reunited and they want to spend time with one another.
* Like Miku beforehand, Mio is equipped with the Camera Obscura, which she is able to use to stun ghosts from harming her or anyone else, in addition to exorcising them. It can also be used on benevolent ghosts as a way to communicate with them and seek guidance as a form of convenience. Learning about the presence of ghosts in the Pantheon, Mio has taken to possessing her Camera Obscura anywhere she goes to ensure she has a way of defending herself.
** Mayu has a sixth sense; a strong perception towards ghosts and is able to interact with them without the Camera Obscura. While Mio also has this ability, her affinity towards this sixth sense is weaker than Mayu's. However, this strengthened perception isn't without its faults as Mayu is more vulnerable to spirits because of it. Hence, Mio has made it clear that Mayu shouldn't rely on it too much unless she's in a desperate situation.
** Miku has once met Mio, though this was after what the latter had to go through regarding her curse and the tribulations her uncle Kei had to go through. The two have noted their similar experiences, including the loss of their sibling and fending off a collection of spirits, hence the two have decided to keep i touch with one another and see if they can find a way to make their Camera Obscura more effective against ghosts.
* Due to their experiences with ghosts, Mio and Mayu were able to get along pretty well with Luigi, who himself has gone through a lot to save his brother from ghosts despite his reluctance and [[TheSoCalledCoward supposed cowardice]]. Luigi is planning to give Mio and Mayu some advice on dealing with ghosts, malevolent or benevolent, and has even offered them a Poltergeist device for use. The sisters gently declined, but have opted to remain friends with the green plumber for extra company.
** On a similar note, they are grateful for the Ghostbusters for helping them reunite. The Ghostbusters have told them to be careful about the House of Life and Death, now that the twins are part of it and the likeliness of ghosts inhabiting it. Mayu would often try to interact with whatever ghost that would visit, though Mio would always accompany her just to make sure she doesn't get harmed.
* On the subject of twins, Mio became close friends with Lucas, who was able to relate with her regarding the death of his own brother, Claus and has given both sisters condolences. The Fujibayashi sisters have also taken to hanging out with them and offering them amenities to cheer them up. That said, Mayu is rather hard to deal with, being somewhat demanding about her needs and feeling the need to be with Mio all the time.
* Due to what the twins had to go through, efforts have been made to prevent them from approaching the House of Pantheon/UndeadAndPhasmata. While there are good-aligned beings there, its the malicious ones that tend to dominate much of the landscape there, plus Mayu's stronger sixth sense [[HoistByTheirOwnPetard can be taken advantage]] of there. While King Boo isn't actually a member of the house, he very frequently takes residence there as he feels that his Boo subordinates would be more relaxed there. And even without the presence of the Boos, there's still beings like Kayako Saeki and Sadako Yamamura that Mio and Mayu would certainly want to avoid, although they do feel sympathetic about how and why they were driven into malevolence.
* The sisters tend to get nervous whenever they hear the name Sae, which is justified, given how it was the identity of the spirit that pursued and tormented Mio and Mayu into the emotional state that they are currently in. That said, some effort has been made to make that issue less worrying, thanks to Sae Niijima. She decided to introduce herself as Ms. Niijima so as to not emotionally hurt the twins accidentally and told them about how she had difficulty in dealing with her own sister [[Pantheon/{{Thieves}} Makoto]]. She's told Mio that she's a great sister and to be proud of it. She told her first name after they had gotten accustomed to Sae, after which the twins weren't too nervous about it. They soon learned about Sae Kashiwagi. They were initially not happy with how she used [[WoundedGazelleGambit crocodile tears]] to gain attention, but soon realized that she actually feels lonely and miserable about not having friends. Mio and Mayu have attempted to try approaching her, though they aren't sure if they could properly do it without thinking about the spirit of the same name. Hopefully Niijima's influence might be able to help out.
* The Court made contact with Casper and Reimi, residents of the Ghosts sub-house to help out with Mio and Mayu. They've managed to easily become friends and even provide them with some needed emotional support. However, because Mio and Mayu are forbidden to have access to the House of Undead without defensive company, Casper and Reimi often have to commute to where the twin sisters reside.
* Mio and Mayu are rather elusive when it comes to the Pantheon. It turns out that since their ascension was big news, that it was similar to Carol Anne's and there was an involvement with King Boo in that regard, they're a popular news topic and gossips revolving the twin sisters don't go unnoticed, much to their dismay. Mio feels as if she might get bombarded by several people into asking about what had happened, but because of how emotionally traumatized she was during her experience, she understandably avoids crowds and urges Mayu to not get reckless in that aspect either.
** That said, they did meet up and became close associates with Carol Anne. Given they've both went through an [[{{Understatement}} incredibly tough time]] involving ghosts and spirits. Both also use a digital device to see and communicate with ghosts (television for Carol Anne, camera for Mio), though Carol Anne can use whichever television set whereas Mio can only rely on the Camera Obscura. They share several similarities, although Mio needs to prioritize Mayu over Carol Anne as the latter already has lots of residents looking after her.
* While Mio is approachable and can be reasoned with despite her trauma, Mayu is more difficult to work around with. Some of her actions and personality traits can be rather erratic and she isn't above [[spoiler:[[WoundedGazelleGambit injuring herself]] to convince others to help her out]]. Mio, [[spoiler:recalling the incident when Mayu took a fall to ensure they never stay separate]], told her to not do that unless others begin disliking her. Some have noticed that Mayu is a [[{{Yandere}} little too attached]] to Mio, though this might have had something to do with her being possessed by Sae. With Sae being nowhere in the Pantheon, its not as apparent as it was before the Pantheon.
* The twin sisters were viewed with interest by Johan Liebert, who has tried to approach them with "assuring thoughts". The Court panicked upon finding out about this and have taken to a lookout in case Johan ever manage to approach them. On a similar note, Damien Thorn also wanted to pay a visit to Mio and Mayu. His intentions weren't told, but the Court knew he would be up to no good. Johan and Damien have their ow intent onn what to do; the former wants to bring Mio and Mayu towards what he thinks would be "absolute despair" whereas Damien wanted to kidnap and sacrifice them for a cult ritual to appease Melkor and the different Pantheonic iterations of {{Satan}}.
* Claus is sympathetic to the sisters, knowing how Mio must have felt and despite Mayu's erratic nature, is able to get along with her pretty well. He's told Mio to make the most out of her relationship with Mayu and that regardless of the difficulty, she shouldn't regret the fact that she's trying to be a good sister. Similarly, Pollyanna Whittier also gives them visits to look into the the positive side of life and do the best getting adjusted into the Pantheon. SO far, Mio is taking their advice well, though how much impact it makes towards Mayu is up for debate.
* Due to their association with the phenomena known as the ''Crimson Butterfly'', Mio and Mayu have a strange association with the Pantheon/{{Insects}} sub-house. Initially, they tried to figure out how, until it clicked into their minds that upon her death, Mayu became the butterfly that they are associated with. They are always welcomed into the sub-house though, where the twin sisters are often associated with love, passion and death the first two feelings going along with the color with the third feeling being a conclusive arc for the two in one way or another.
* Sometime after getting accustomed into the Pantheon, strange ghost incidents began to occur, with hallucinations, kidnappings and hospitalizations becoming more alarming overtime. Mio and Mayu were among the first deities to be noticed and questioned about it for, given their experience with spirits. The sisters have stated that they have no idea on what is going on and that they don't feel as if they are ready to confront the situation itself. For now, they're stashed in the House of Family as the House of Life and Death seems too risky. Ghost hunters and benevolent spirits have since banded to confront the situation, though they're unprepared for what's to occur...

''"Mayu, we'll be together...we will!"''

* Gothel was an old woman who discovered a magic flower which kept her young through a magic song. It was until soldiers sent by the King of Corona to find a cure for his ill pregnant Queen, when the flower was discovered and cured her. As the result, their child Rapunzel bears a golden hair which holds the magical properties of the flower. She uses the hair to replenish her youth but when she snipped it, it lost its power and she began aging. Thus, she kidnapped her and kept her in a tower for 18 years and prevented her from leaving outside until Rapunzel meet the thief Flynn Rider.
* After she died from old age and turning into dust after Flynn [[spoiler:cut Rapunzel's hair which removed the magic from it]], she ascended to the Pantheon, although as an old woman[[note]]and there have been some unexplained delays[[/note]]. Somehow, her ascension [[spoiler: caused Rapunzel's hair to grow out again with its magical properties (well, usually it fluctuated between that state and her post-cut state, but Gothel's ascension made it permanent]]. Of course, she couldn't reach Rapunzel with everyone getting in her path, so she needs to seek another source for eternal youth, yet she has used to the flower for so many centuries that she want Rapunzel's hair above all else.
* She is despised by parents as she kidnapped Rapunzel as a baby and has emotionally abused her into staying in the tower and never leaving outside. She also like to put down Rapunzel while complimenting herself and was willing to lock her away when she drops her façade. Especially Bryan Mills because if you did, [[MemeticMutation he will look for you, he will find you and he will kill you]].
* She found a companion through the Evil Queen who is vain about her beauty. So much that she wanted Snow White out of the way so that she could be "the fairest of them all," much like her and Rapunzel's hair. Though she doesn't interact with [[Pantheon/FamilyAndRelatives Lady Tremaine]] much, she doesn't like her methods because it didn't serve any purpose other than making Cinderella miserable.
* Though Frollo has hatred toward witchcraft and her goal of eternal youth would make it like witchcraft, they were a lot in common in being manipulative stepparent to their stepchild through emotional abuse and would view them as a tool. In fact, [[Webcomic/DisneyHighSchool she and Frollo are married in one universe]]. Because of that, Quasimodo, also a friend of Rapunzel, hates her as well because of how similar she was to Frollo.
* She actually approves of Ghetsis's methods as they both took a child and "adopt" them, raising them in a rather isolated environment and conditioned them for their own selfish purposes. They both have a different endgame, but other than that she's disturbing similar to him.
* Do note that Gothel will use her people as a means to accomplish her goals, and so is prone to backstabbing people when it is part of her plans.
* Her obsession with eternal youth and immortality caught the attention of Lord Voldemort who seeks immortality and the two end up forming a rivalry. According to him, only he can live forever.
* Ra's Al Ghul noticed her on how she live for centuries through a magic flower and later through Rapunzel's hair while he survived through the Lazarus Pits which heal wounds and cure every ailments. Though it could drive a person insane if used too much, in which for Gothel, probably wouldn't make a difference.
* Worf and Picard mistook Gothel for one of their allies [[Film/StarTrekInsurrection Anij]] has ascended. Not only this isn't the case, Gothel even attempted to fool them for a way to achieve immortality. This made them hate her ever since.
* [[AlternativeCharacterInterpretation Some thought that]] Gothel might have actually cared for Rapunzel at times: making Rapunzel her favorite dinner, agreeing to go on a long trip to get seashell for her paint she said for her birthday, and other things that Rapunzel genuinely love. But ultimately, her vanity and selfishness overweigh these qualities.
* Attempted to gain knowledge on Philosopher's Stones and alchemy from [[Pantheon/PredecessorsAndMentors Izumi]] as an alternate youth source. 368* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRoDZaDeRLY There's a rumor that]] Gothel was [[spoiler:[[WesternAnimation/{{Hercules}} Megara]], [[Pantheon/PowerAndAbilities Hercules's]] (Disney incarnation) love interest]]. Neither party wants to talk about it.
* After it is made clear that she could no longer control the princess anymore, the Organization deems that she has outlived her usefulness and transforms her into a tree-like Heartless that threatens to cage all who comes across this monster. Rapunzel, despite having learned that she is not her mother at all, couldn't help but felt pity for what she had become of her. Fortunately, with the help of Sora and Eugene, Rapunzel managed vanquish the monster free her "mother" from her state.
* People's general disgust for her grew even further [[spoiler:when it was discovered she had a [[WesternAnimation/TangledTheSeries biological daughter named Cassandra]], that she abandoned after she kidnapped Rapunzel]].

* To the surprise of... Well... ANYONE, Makoto Itou was allowed to be part of the pantheon. He told everyone to not worry, he really doesn't mean bad this time. The Chick Magnet Quartet are still wary of him, but he already expected that.
* Something like [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psbLx-D6m2Y this]] happened when Makoto, Sekai and Kotonoha were seen on the same place at the same time after his ascension, but that was to be expected from the god of {{Psychotic Love Triangle}}s. Though at the very least, Makoto has finally rekindled his relationship with his former ally-then enemy Kotonoha.
** When not being in his temple, he can be seen running away from Sekai and Kotonoha for yet another screw up he did with them. Some things simply don't change.
** There ''are'' few times where Makoto, Sekai and Kotonoha can be together without suffering, either hanging out or doing... [[MultiWaySex stuff]]. It's a rare sight, though. And it may end up with Kotonoha and Sekai fighting for him again anyways.
* He hates Terumi and his Trollkaiger for manipulating Kotonoha. He'd have done something about them by now but he's only a mere Quasideity, so he cannot do anything except glaring at them. In the other hand, Terumi seems to be very pleased with Makoto's return...
** Makoto does have another reason to hate them: [[BullyHunter They are bullies]]. [[EvenEvilHasStandards He really hates bullying]], and if he had a way to openly antagonize them and get away with it, he would. In fact, Makoto would ally with [[Pantheon/{{School}} Jimmy Hopkins]] from time to time to send some karmic retribution on the bullies in the Pantheon.
* May actually be a Demigod or Lesser God. Or he could become one. It all depends on whether he manages to survive being stranded on an island. With that said, being able to be on a Nice Boat ''alive'' is a big accomplishment in and out of itself.
* While Makoto is too powerless to actually join a faction, he does find himself loathing the GUAC. No, not because of their goal (He plain doesn't care about that), but rather because of the some of the methods they use, like Lucifer manipulating Homura into rebelling against Madoka, which hits him too close to home to what Terumi did to Kotonoha and what broke their friendship for a while. [[BigBrotherInstinct Madoka also reminds Makoto of his own little sister]].
** Sadly, Makoto's (''[[NotWhatItLooksLike platonic]]'') interest on Madoka has made both Kotonoha and Sekai to add her to their shit list, due to reasons yet unknown. Some say it's yet another misunderstanding while others believe it's simply jealousy.
* Gained a new ally in the less-than-smart yet nice Yuma Tsukumo, who understands what it means to be hated for not being the sharpest knife in the drawer. It helps he's a newly-ascended god ''and'' ObliviousToLove to that point.
* Marcie feels pity towards Makoto Itou over how he can't be able to control himself in handling his romance life; both of which all happens thanks to [[ArchnemesisDad their evil fathers]] not caring to them like any other normal dads did (At least ''her'' dad still care for her, as he did want Marcie to take over the family business, whereas Tomaru wants to rape every woman he has ever been interested in just to screw with him).
* Is little bit disturbed of an idea of people would [[http://i1.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/680/223/345.jpg love him more dead than alive]]. As in, [[ILoveTheDead that kind of "love"]]. Even Kotonoha [[AlasPoorYorick only took off with his head]] that one time.

* In life, the Waynes were a family of [[HonestCorporateExecutive kindly philanthropists]] who contributed to Gotham's success. However, [[ItWasHisSled as everyone knows]], they died at the hands of a mugger named Joe Chill. Their son Bruce dedicated the rest of his life to avenge their deaths and stop the crime that killed them, becoming the hero Batman. [[DependingOnTheWriter Their opinion on this varies]], but the Wayne family is still alive and working to make the world better nonetheless.
* They have noted a disturbing (at least to them) trend of [[DeceasedParentsAreTheBest superheroes with dead parents]], which they're afraid that they somehow started:
-->'''Thomas''': "My God, is ''every'' superhero's dad/mom dead?!"
** Their annoyance at this has only been compounded with how often it shows up in other media, like shonen manga.
* While most agree that it was a random mugging, [[DependingOnTheWriter their reason for dying varies]]. Sometimes their killer Joe Chill is an assassin, sometimes he's a desperate thief and sometimes it's part of an elaborate conspiracy. [[ComicBook/{{BatmanEarthOne}} This has been the case in one reality]], where they fell victim to. In another reality [[Film/Batman1989 it was Jack Napier aka The Joker who shot them]].
* Entering the Pantheon has been a boon for Bruce, who finally gets to be with his parents. However, it hasn't been the first time Batman met them after their death; when [[Pantheon/TechnologicalExperts Brainiac]] [[ComicBook/{{Convergence}} took various timelines]], it finally allowed Batman to see his father, albeit [[ComicBook/{{Earth2}} from another universe]] again. [[spoiler:Too bad the Joker]] got him killed, like he did [[Film/Batman1989 in another reality.]] He will meet his mother again, [[spoiler:[[ComicBook/WhateverHappenedToTheCapedCrusader at the end of his life]] when he is about to be reincarnated as himself.]]
* Desiring his parents to be alive again, Batman has been scrawling across the multiverse for a scenario. Unfortunately, he has only discovered ''two'' realities where they survived.
** The first [[ComicBook/{{Flashpoint}} is a reality where]] he was the one gunned down, Thomas is [[AntiHeroSubstitute a far more aggressive Batman]], and his mother is [[spoiler:''the freaking JOKER.'']] Oh, and it's a CrapsackWorld about to destroy itself in war. And the Flash created it by going back in time and saving ''his'' mother from being killed by his arch-nemesis the Reverse-Flash, who ''himself had gone back in time to kill her to begin with. This reality was revisited by Bruce and the Flash while investigating [[spoiler:[[Pantheon/PowerArchetypes Doctor Manhattan]]]]'s alteration of the DC Universe. There, Thomas and Bruce met for real, but their reunion did not last long, as the ''Flashpoint'' world was in its final moments. Before Bruce and the Flash returned to their world, Bruce begged Thomas to come with him, as he had become a grandfather, but Thomas told Bruce [[spoiler:to hang the cape and cowl and be a father to Damian, the way he couldn't be for Bruce.]]
** The second is a reality where Batman himself intervened across the multiverse in stopping the killing. In this case, the Bruce Wayne grew up a happy son who became Batman out of awe and gratitude to the mysterious man who saved him as a child. However, as Batman had to bend the rules of reality to make this timeline work, most say it doesn't count.
* Thomas Wayne is a fan of masquerade balls, [[DependingOnTheWriter sometimes]] dressing up as "the Batman." He's not a fan of rock and roll, but his son is. [[WebVideo/AtopTheFourthWall And he's sick of a certain reviewer claiming otherwise.]]
* [[DependingOnTheWriter They may have another son]], who's usually [[LukeIAmYourFather a villain of sorts.]] [[Pantheon/FightingAndCombat Bane]] thought he might be Thomas' child from an affair, but that turned out not to be the case. Both parties are trying to pretend that never happened.
* With their revival in the pantheon, the Waynes are forming the [[HonestCorporateExecutive Generous, Opulant]] [[FunWithAcronyms Philanthropist]] Team to fund the GUAG. They have their son, [[Pantheon/{{Commerce}} Scrooge McDuck]] and [[Pantheon/TypesOfMechas Iron Man]] join.
* In lieu of [[DeathByOriginStory their fate]], the Waynes have also built an orphanage for the pantheon.
* Rrumors have circulated that [[VideoGame/BatmanTheTelltaleSeries the Waynes were actually]] [[spoiler: a gangster family, and that only Alfred was clean in raising Bruce]]. No comment has come out of the pantheon yet for this information, though its accuracy is apparently in dispute.
* Thomas became pleased that his old friend [[Pantheon/TimePlacement Jor-El]] had entered the Pantheon. The two engage in long conversations about their old lives and agreed their sons have become the best men they could ever hope to be.
* Not so pleasing was the arrival of Eobard Thawne, the man whose murder of Barry Allen's mother created the opening for the ''Flashpoint'' timeline. Especially given that during the closing moments of that timeline, Thomas killed Thawne, though installments disagree on whether he stabbed him with a sword or shot him with a gun. He knows that kind of villain is gonna want payback somehow.
