The domain of fictional creatures. While pretty much ''all'' the beasts in the Pantheon are fictional portrayals of creatures, these are ''fictional'' fictional portrayals of creatures. Yes, it usually makes more sense to call them creatures from mythology, but some are a bit too recent to be called that.

Refer to the Hall of Pantheon/FantasticRaces for humanoid creatures. Dragons have their [[Pantheon/DraconicBeings own Hall]]. While the Krakens' and Tidehunters' titles would qualify them for this Hall, they are more at home in the Hall of Pantheon/AquaticLife.

Like the inhabitants, this hall is hard to come across, with those who visit either not revealing anything or finding their claimed locations seemingly disproven. It's rumored that the hall [[Film/FantasticBeastsAndWhereToFindThem is kept hidden and mobile in a suitcase]] that's BiggerOnTheInside. Its inhabitants have not commented on this.

* Avoids: The Hall of Pantheon/WaterAndMoisture
* Respects: [[Pantheon/ChildArchetypes Mandy]]
* Although he now resides in the House of Beasts due to his new rule over Sand Worms (the original story he came from having codified and named the trope "SandWorm"), he normally can't be found in this house. Instead, he can normally be found in the House of Mentalism.
* Leto II sees all and rules all through his exclusive control of the Spice Melange, key to raising human awareness, and through his perfect prescient vision. He also possesses the heightened senses and physical abilities of a SandWorm.
* He is also currently in a heated legal battle with the [[TabletopGame/{{Warhammer 40000}} Imperium of Man]] over who exactly owns the copyright to the title "God-Emperor". Given that the Imperium's idea of legal proceedings in this area involves chainswords and flamethrowers, the case is progressing somewhat slowly. The [[Pantheon/ValuesAndEthics God-Emperor]] himself, though, doesn't really care. It's not out of a sense of hatred; Leto has done much good for humanity during his rule.
* There has been a lot of comparisons with Jedi when it comes to The Voice, a CompellingVoice that forces people to follow its commands much like the Jedi Mind Trick. Leto has stated it should be the other way around; the Dune series predates Star Wars by at least a decade. There are a lot of people demanding that he fights Luke Skywalker. Things got fluctuated due to [[Film/TheForceAwakens Luke's story changing]].
* He has gotten word that other creatures of the ground are thinking about joining forces with him. The Graboids ae outside of his domain, but he welcomes them into his domain all the same. They are under his protection as long as they don't make too much of a scene outside their temple. All while he starts research to see if they have any relations to the Shai-Hulud.
* While the most powerful of his kind, he has been difficult to gauge his alignment. He is one of the few deities in the Pantheon who have significant cults of LawfulGood, LawfulNeutral and LawfulEvil churches. This obviously puts a strain in organization for his clergy. It is this reason that he has decided not to align himself with any one faction, preferring to aid who seems like the most suitable choice.
* Shulk is not a fan of his methods, even if it is for the good of humanity. It would be difficult to predict how a match between the two would go as both are excellent in [[CombatClairvoyance predicting each others movements in combat.]]
* [[TheChessMaster He also uses his prediction powers to plan events millennia into the future]]. With this knowledge, he was able to help humanity expand in a way that it hasn't done in his world. He certainly rivals that of the best in the business. With that said, he merely keeps to his own business, helping out his own followers as well as humanity in general.
* Leto himself is notoriously difficult to kill. [[AGodAmI He claimed to be a god long before the Pantheon has existed]]. But there is one weakness that he avoids. It is known that Sand Worms cannot survive water-clogged environments. As such, he makes sure not to venture in the House of Nature lest he gets trapped by evil water deities. The most prominent in the Pantheon is Rain, who would have no qualms killing Leto is it means to protect Kotal Khan.
* Leto has heard rumors that Mandy would turn out to be an effective ruler in the future, even turning into a SandWorm herself to amass immense power. He always suspected that Mandy would rule over her world. It also means he has an inkling on her ''true'' weakness. Yet he has no interest in telling anyone. Indeed, he is willing to let that future play out, over the objections of more freedom-minded deities.

* In many worlds, unicorns are seen as symbols of purity and of the wonders of nature, and the world where she came from was no exception. So wondrous were they that the miserable old king Haggar knew joy only from watching them, and so used [[AnimalisticAbomination a terrible red bull]] to capturer and selfishly hoard them all to himself. Only one of them remained free in an idyllic forest, until she heard from passerby huntsmen that she was the last unicorn. Unwilling to believe so, the creature set out to find the other members of her kind, gaining the companionship of Schmendrick, an utterly IneptMage, and of Molly Grue, a disgruntled woman who had dreamed of seeing unicorns all of her life. Unfortunately, in an effort to save her from the red bull, Schmendrick ended up turning her into a human. This caused the massive problem of her losing herself as her inhuman mindset changed to that of a normal woman and as she developed a romance with Prince Lir, the son of Haggar himself. Yet eventually, that identity of Lady Amalthea had to be cast away in time to stare down the Red Bull and save her kind. And though she had succeeded on her journey, she had lost her love and found herself different from the other unicorns, as she was the only one to have known both love and remorse.
* Sometime after her tale, the Unicorn happened to notice an odd path in her forest. She followed it and ended up in a truly strange place filled with disparate landscapes and odd characters called the Pantheon. She found herself in front of a court, who offered her the chance to represent her kind, due to her exploit of saving them. Though she was more than baffled by the offer, especially since she felt she had become much unlike a unicorn, her curiosity made her accept it. The Gods gave her the ability to change from unicorn to human and back, and to say she is ambivalent about that blessing would be the understatement of the century. Though there's a part of her that yearns for humanity, staying in this form tends to result in losing herself in 'Lady Amalthea'. So, in a way, this blessing only worsens the inner conflict that unicorns were never meant to feel.
** Sometimes, she is visited by her old traveling companions, the now powerful magician Schmendrick and his wife Molly Grue. Though they were surprised at first by the existence of the Pantheon, they both accepted this as another sort of story and are more than happy that this allows them to see their friend more often. It is another story with Lir, the prince with which she fell in love as a human and who inherited his father's throne after the latter's death. Shortly before her ascension, she came to visit one last time at the end of another story, when he was an old king who had just received a mortal blow from a griffon. Though she had intended this to be the last time they would ever see each other, he found himself in the House of Pantheon/LifeAndVitality as the young hero he always was inside, and then was guided towards her temple. Upon reaching the beautiful piece of wood, he happily offered to serve and protect her as her Herald, now that his duty as a king was over. Though the Unicorn was hesitant about it at first, as she was very unsure about if she could give him the love he gives her anymore, [[EarnYourHappyEnding the two still seem to be truly happy with experiencing each other's company once more]].
* Upon hearing about the existence of plenty of other unicorns in the Pantheon, with a good number of them coming from some land called Equestria, she grew curious enough to meet them. She was greatly surprised by how different they were from her, though. Having the tail of a lion, legs of a deer, cloven feet, the fur of a goat, the neck of a llama, and a horn with the length of a short sword, Amalthea only looks like a horse from far away, but the equestrian Unicorns do look mostly like horned ponies. But the biggest difference by far between her and them is that they are mortals, with much more human mindsets as a result. Despite this, the more classical-looking unicorn did quickly befriend them, which was helped by the fact their rulers, Princess Celestia and Luna amongst them, were indeed immortal. Upon seeing her ethereal beauty, Rarity insisted on being given permission to make clothes that would accompany it. Though the Unicorn isn't comfortable while wearing clothes in her normal form, she did accept to go to the seamstress for dresses for her human form, if it made the latter happy.
** She grew more than a little interested when she learned that Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer had both turned into humans, especially in the latter since she had chosen to fully adopt humanity as her kind. Though the two noted that they had much fewer issues with their new forms than the full-blown identity issues she had, no doubt due to the fact that Equestrian ponies and humans are much closer in mentality. Still, Sunset is more than happy to try to help Amalthea when she's hesitantly trying out her human form.
** The other Alicorn in the Pantheon, Princess Cadence, was aghast upon hearing that the unicorns from Amalthea's words don't naturally feel love. Upon asking the Unicorn about it, the Princess of Love only grew more sorrowful as she heard the story of a romance that wasn't meant to be. In fact, she was the one that guided Lir's soul towards his beloved, as she wanted to do at least one small thing. While the Unicorn really wishes that her opinion had been asked beforehand, but she admits that the act brought happiness to her. Though she's very unsure about the chances of romance rekindling between them, Cadence is just happy to have given them a chance to be happy together.
** Of course, she also befriended other non-unicorn ponies. She and Fluttershy became friends because of their shared protection of wildlife critters, though the pegasus is very disturbed as to how Amalthea deals with protecting the animals. While the Pegasus pony will simply scare or talk down a dragon if it harms her forest, the unicorn will ''kill'' a dragon in hers.
* [[Pantheon/HuntersAndSlayers Dovahkiin]] was impressed by her dragon killing power and tried to ask her if they could fight together. Amalthea said to him that she kills them only in self-defense or protecting the forest she lives in, and had very little interest in the endless search for heroism and combat that he indulges in, though she doesn't think ill of him as long as he doesn't try to hunt the animals within her forest.
* For your information, she does not appreciate any jokes about her race having been kidnapped by an energy drink. Given how terrifying the beast was and how his terror indirectly Emotional Entity embodiment of rage, as he too takes the form of a monstrous red bull, and unlike the beast from his world would be quite happy to fight anyone. Somewhat ironically, the Butcher actually respects the Unicorn somewhat, as she is the first of her kind to have known true wrath from the [[BackFromTheDead temporary]] death of the prince she loved, and how it allowed her to defeat the Red Bull.
** The Predator similarly values her as the only Unicorn to have known love and thought it had brought her much sorrow, she also recognizes that it brought her joy and thus reciprocates the Entity's respect. Her status as the only one of her kind to love also brought the attention of Carol Ferris, who proposed that she would make a fine recruit for the Star Sapphire. The unicorn strongly refused as she is very uncomfortable with the thought that the ring may change her personality. Though she does think that protecting love is a laudable objective.
* [[Pantheon/{{Knowledge}} The House of Knowledge]] thinks that since Amalthea's horn can cancel '''ANY''' magic, she could cancel Lord Tirek's draining powers, since he was defeated with a magic-based attack (even though he can drain magic). They don't want to test it out though, fearing the centaur might instead absorb her magic-canceling powers, making him a much more powerful foe than he already is. The Unicorn and, ironically, Tirek himself are very not keen on testing it out themselves, as they each fear the opposite result from each other.
* One day, she noticed a hawk taking a rest on the branches of one of the trees of her forest whose behavior seemed a bit odd to her. She talked to him, and as it turned out, the bird was none other than the Animorph Tobias, who told her of how he was a human that ended up stuck in his current form, and how he progressively became one in nature as well before all but abandoned living as his old species. The Unicorn couldn't help but be reminded of her own experiences and seeing him as how she would have ended up if she chose to remain human. Upon being told of him, Tobias grew very interested as well, and the two sometimes talk about their truly odd feelings of change.
* Needless to say, she was absolutely horrified from learning that Lord Voldemort drank the blood of a unicorn just to extend his life. And knowing more about him just make her disgust for the so-called Lord of Darkness even more, as he yearns for a miserable, immortal life without any acknowledgment towards the beauty of mortal life or the miracles that love can bring.
* As stated before, she is a fierce protector of her domain and all of the animals within it against hunters and other intruders. As such, she has very little love for the nefarious who hunt far beyond what they need. One of her most recurring threats within the Pantheon has been Pokemon Hunter J, who very much wants to capture such an elusive creature as she. Though the Unicorn's might has been enough to drive her off, Amalthea still very much despises the monstrously evil woman and is wary of her intrusions.
** Hircine, the Daedric Prince of The Hunt has long considered unicorns worthy targets and has sometimes sent mortals on a quest for their horns in exchange for a reward. He finds the fact that the Unicorn managed to send off such a terrible beast as the Red Bull one that makes her an even more attractive quary and has been toying with the idea of sometimes trying his luck. Amalthea herself, while admitting that the hunt that he represents is a part of nature, has herself no desire whatsoever to be slain for such petty reasons.
** Other deities who has been forbidden entrance into her dwelling is Naughty Bear, after she heard about how often he murder part-bear, part-unicorn creatures known as Unibears and the Pyro for his out-of-control tendency to burn everything around him. The Mann Co. Mercenary actually adores the Unicorn as she is very much like the creatures in his sugary delusions, but she doesn't reciprocate at all.
* Upon hearing about a member of an immortal and normally 'perfect' species being made to feel negative emotions such as wrath and regret, the wicked priest known as Kirei Kotomine grew curious and visited her forest to watch her from afar. When she noticed him, he was surprised to see that she did not look at him with fear or even disgust, but with simple disdain. Upon being asked for a reason, she answered that she could see what he really was: a pitiful and miserable man who knew joy from almost nothing in life, much like the old King Haggar. The only difference being that while the king's only joy was to hoard beautiful things, his is to break them. Kotomine [[{{Touche}} chuckled and admitted that she was completely right]] before leaving.
* As her friend Schmendrick was an IneptMage when she first knew him, she was curious to learn about another that struggled with the magical arts in the form of Akko. Upon seeing the hard work the girl was putting in her life's passion, The Unicorn told her of her old companion, and how he eventually mastered his magical potential to truly become an archmage, in an attempt to give some comfort. The young witch was thankful for the words, though she noticed that the Unicorn was rather melancholic and said that she would like to cheer up her mood. A classmate of her, Diana Cavendish, was also interested in the Unicorn as it was the patron creature of her House. Upon learning of her story, the Cavendish heir agreed that turning an immortal creature into a human indeed sounded like a blunder Akko would make.
* The Dark Elves from the TabletopGame/{{Warhammer}} universe are infamous for their cruel slavery and the way they abuse their mounts as a way to force them into combat, but Pegasi Unicorns are an exception as they're a religious symbol for their races, with the Hag Queen Morathi in particular riding a dark pegasus in battle. Despite this reverence, Amalthea has nothing but scorn for them, as she finds their abuse of all other creatures as abhorrent, and their adoration of unicorns as a simple extension of their utter arrogance and desire to be associated with 'higher' creatures.

* Annoyed by: [[Pantheon/AntiVillains The Professor]]
* Pegacorn. Unipeg. Cerapter. Alicorn. There are many ways to call a unicorn with wings. When the Spirits of Harmony ascended to the Pantheon during its early days, it was shortly decided that Equestria's rulers should also get a spot in the Pantheon. And so with Twilight Sparkle's case sent to the Court, her teacher Princess Celestia, as well as ''her'' sister Princess Luna, became Pantheon goddesses.
** Originally, besides the trope WingedUnicorn, they also held the trope PrincessesRule, which they eventually surrendered to make way for [[Pantheon/AdventureTime Princess Bubblegum]].
** When word of their ascension came to pass, [[Pantheon/{{Celebration}} Pinkie Pie]] threw the party to end all parties when they arrived. It was an understatement to say the Temple of Winged Unicorns was the '''loudest area in the entire House of Beasts, in the entire history of the Pantheon'''. The noise actually drove the more animalistic members of the House, as well as DeathWorld, to stampede. Only by a combined effort of [[Pantheon/BeastHandlers Steve Irwin]], Zak Saturday, and back-up from the House of Pantheon/FightingAndCombat was the riot quelled. Captain America and Commander Vimes made the pink pony [[PinkySwear ''Pinkie Promise'']] to never plan a party of that magnitude ever again.
** When Celestia and Luna made their grand entrance, most of the deities were awed. Celestia appeared in a beam of light, and Luna? Her entrance involved a nightmare chariot, bat-winged guards, and a cape made of bats, along with her announcing herself in the '''Royal Canterlot Voice'''.
** Not long after they ascended, however, an unknown god or goddess somehow reawakened Nightmare Moon, Luna's resentful SuperpoweredEvilSide previously thought destroyed by the [[Pantheon/TheGreatTreasury Elements of Harmony]]. There are three current culprit theories going about; [[Pantheon/{{Emotion}} Parsee]], [[Pantheon/{{Metafiction}} Bernkastel]], and [[Pantheon/CrueltyAndSadism Terumi]], though nothing has been proven yet. [[EvilLaugh Laughing wickedly]], the dark mare promised to bring upon the Pantheon an era of eternal night before being subdued by the promptly summoned Elements of Harmony. Unfortunately, they failed to function to their full effect and thus Luna is now in the same situation as [[Pantheon/RevealsAndTwists Sayaka Miki]], her normal self still acting as co-Goddess of {{Winged Unicorn}}s while her Nightmare Moon personality fills the role of Goddess of Eternal Night.
*** Months later, an unknown god or goddess (it's not known if it was the same one) managed to remove Nightmare Moon from Princess Luna completely…only for it to be plunged into [[Pantheon/{{Costumes}} Rarity]], [[ComicBook/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicIDW turning her into Nightmare's second coming]]. A fierce skirmish between [[spoiler:Nightmare and her allies]] against Luna, Celestia, the remainder of the Mane Six, [[Pantheon/MinionsAndSidekicks Spike]], and all of their friends (including some gods whose followers were Equestrians) ensued, which eventually became a skirmish between forces in the Grand United Alliances of Good and Evil. Eventually, the Nightmare was purged, and Rarity was saved. Unfortunately, Nightmare Moon was revived by unknown means and provided a new body so she can continue her "crusade" against the Day.
* Applies to both sisters:
** Despite their ascension, there's a fierce debate among the gods over what their formal title should be. For certain, they look like winged unicorns, but "Pegasus unicorn" and “Alicorn” have also been used to describe them. Celestia has no comment, while Luna would talk, but due to her tendency to scare lesser deities, nobody has heard her opinion.
*** But since Twilight Sparkle's own "ascension" (separate from her Pantheonic one), Alicorn has been confirmed to be the term.
** They were very happy to hear that their niece Princess Cadance had ascended to the House of Royalty as an equally ranked goddess due to her having a better track record of fighting back [[TheWorfEffect against anything that threatens them]].
** Despite arising through the House of Beasts, the two, being sapient, spend much of their time in other houses, with Twilight initially volunteering herself as their guide. Most of their sojourns outside their temple include visiting the other Spirits of Harmony and {{troll}}ing villains.
*** Of course, as the sisters got more and more acclimated to being Pantheon denizens and found friends of their own, this practice has lessened.
** [[Pantheon/{{Costumes}} Rarity]] has politely suggested that the Princesses might wish to wear a tad more clothing whenever they are actually IN the House of Beasts, so that nobody gets confused about their level of intelligence. So far, they have not taken her up on this suggestion; Celestia hasn't said why, but Luna explained that she feels it should be obvious to anyone. The fashion designer eventually had to give up this endeavor.
** [[Pantheon/NaturePreservers Fluttershy]] hasn't visited the House of Beasts much since their ascension, apparently because she doesn't want to bother Celestia if she doesn't have to, though there are rumors that it's actually because she's scared of Luna giving her a hug. That said, it only lasted for the first couple of months before new deities drew her attention and overrode her nervousness and she's become a regular visitor again.
** Volcarona acts as a replacement sun whenever Celestia isn't feeling well and can't raise the sun. In addition, the Pokémon shortly founded the ''Sun Quartet'' with her, Utsuho Reiuji, and Amaterasu to combat [[Anime/FutariWaPrettyCure Baldez]] (later Yami) and Nightmare Moon (and her allies) should they ever decide to keep the Pantheon in eternal night.
*** Eventually, as more and more deities ascended and joined their ranks, it came to a head when the Greek Titans of the Sun and Moon, Helios and Selene, ascended, and the group was eventually reforged into ''The Protectors of Night and Day'', not only so that Luna doesn't keep feeling like a tag-along ally, but also from realizing that there may eventually be threats that wish to invoke EndlessDaytime, which is just as bad as TheNightThatNeverEnds.
** Rajang became a huge nuisance to deal with when it decided to come after them to substitute for the Kirins it usually chased. Or course, both of them (and Lady Amalthea) proved far more competent than he was familiar with, but it was decided to warn all their pony friends and subjects about the rampaging creature.
** They are rather nice deities most of the time, [[BewareTheNiceOnes but that doesn't mean they'll take things lying down]]. Celestia in particular is known for being… explosive. Just ask Chrysalis during one of their [[ComicBook/MyLittlePonyFiendshipIsMagic previous battles]]. [[BodyHorror She didn't get those holes and warped horn naturally after all.]]
** Eventually retired and abdicated the throne of Equestria to Twilight. No longer having to be rulers any longer, they have decided to take their new time off to the fullest in the Pantheon, though their roles as goddesses remain.
*** However, one rub in regards to their retirement came in this when someone asked "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYf2Kx47zJE Who's doing Luna's dream-walking duties in Equestria now?]]" Questions and theories abound, but that doesn't matter in the Pantheon, since in here she has personal reasons to keep dream-walking; Freddy Kreuger and his ilk. As long as they exist, she will not stop fighting them.
* Exclusive to Celestia:
** Celestia once took part in the GUAG's 1st annual "Troll" Off. Participants included [[Pantheon/ExtraterrestrialBehaviour Urdnot Wrex]], [[Pantheon/MindGames Mion Sonozaki]], and other benign trickster deities. She was easily bested by the Goddess of Gadflies, Mion, as the result of some serious lulz produced (much of them being from some rather dirty, perverted jokes).
*** She was shortly inaugurated to the Lol Ranger division, designation "Blue Ranger". Luna has opted not to be involved in this.
** As rumors showed, her TrademarkFavoriteFood is cake, and occasionally gorges on lots of them whenever she thinks she's alone.
** Celestia smiled happily with [[TearsOfJoy tears in her eyes]] from afar when she saw Sunset Shimmer ascend, [[HeelFaceTurn no longer]] [[APupilOfMineUntilHeTurnedToEvil her fallen pupil]]. However, while Celestia did want to greet her personally, she also understands that in order for Sunset herself to feel fully forgiven, she needs to be the one who makes the first move. As such, she waits patiently for that day to arrive.
*** [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyEquestriaGirlsForgottenFriendship And that day eventually came, though the circumstances were dire on Sunset's part]]. It has to be seen to be believed, though Celestia will admit she had a little fun in seeing Sunset squirm a bit before owning up.
** Has earned the ire of Frieza's brother Cooler. This may be due to [[HurlItIntoTheSun his experiences with the sun]].
** [[MemeticMolester Slaanesh shows interest in Celestia for some reason.]]
** While dreams is more of Luna's dominion, Celestia is sometimes known for DreamingOfThingsToCome, which can explain some of the seemingly illogical choices and plans she has made over the course of the series, her visions telling her what to do in a way that will make things work out best, even if she appears to be sabotaging herself.
** Celestia would often prepare pancakes once every morning. Usually, the first one to get some of them (if she's not at the House of Food) is Nora Valkyrie, who can't get enough of them.
*** This made her get along well with the wrestlers who call themselves The New Day, since they're known for their love of pancakes as well (And they're Bronies, so there's that). Gods are now fearing what would happen if Trollestia and The New Day got together.
** Has a love for the theater... but not the acting skills for it. However, she's okay with being a stage manager to keep things running.
*** As a matter of fact, her inability to [[WillingSuspensionOfDisbelief suspend her disbelief]] [[LiteralMinded is so bad that]] she can't even ''play charades'' in any capacity.
** [[{{Metalhead}} Her favorite type of music is '80s metal.]]
** Also, one of her biggest fears? [[AbsurdPhobia Chickens.]] Although she points out that this is because they're similar to the [[TakenForGranite cockatrice]]. As such, she's usually seen leaving whenever [[Pantheon/GamingConsequences Cuccos]] are in the area, especially when someone's bound to mess with them and cause a swarm.
** [[https://www.equestriadaily.com/2020/01/lauren-faust-reveals-how-nightmare-moon.html Apparently, she was the one who let Nightmare Moon out in the first place during the Summer Sun Celebration in Ponyville]]. When Discord discovered that, [[spoiler:given how Celestia had called him out on his Grogar plot]], [[WhosLaughingNow he promptly gave her some snark over that]]. [[https://youtu.be/xB8Cg03Hy8Y However, one theorist doubted that claim, and even speculated]] [[spoiler:the Tree of Harmony was the ultimate culprit]].
* Exclusive to Luna:
** Luna feels sympathy for [[Pantheon/ClothingTheme Queen Elsa]], especially after hearing her famous song. As it was, both of them have powers that had the potential of instilling fear in others. Also, while Luna only (once) feared the negative things others thought of her, Elsa experienced them firsthand.
** Curiously, Luna is one of the few deities that can see [[Pantheon/MedicalMiscellaneous Osmosis Jones]] without having to shrink down her size or see him through a microscope. She has apparently seen him sometimes when she is traveling through dreams, often teaming up to resolve whatever nightmare the dreamer is having.
** Freddy Krueger once made the HUGE mistake of trying to instill fear of himself in the hearts of young ponies, including the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Luna showed him that ''that is a bad idea'', before giving him a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown. Since then, Freddy has sworn to get revenge on the princess, before taking over the dreams of all the little ponies. Luna on the other hand, not only made it her personal mission to prevent this, but is also collaborating with the rest of the GUAG to put a stop to him and free the souls of children he has already victimized.
** After learning of Princess Luna's role as the Princess of the Night, Valvatorez has become good friends with her and has vowed to protect the moon for her and Fenrich's sake. While [[Pantheon/ObedienceMindsets Fenrich]] does not want his master to be making more friends and promises, he at least (begrudgingly) respects Luna as the moon is very important to him.
** [[ComicBook/MyLittlePonyNightmareKnights May have formed a clandestine squad for dealing with threats that she can't trust anyone else with]].
** One day, Mary was having a nightmare about her father. His shadow started chasing her, wanting her back. Just as she was cornered, a pony came and dispelled the nightmare away. Princess Luna had heard of Mary and her abilities and wanted to meet her, which was perfect timing on her part. Luna offers her protection to Mary, who happily accepts. Mary shows Luna her abilities while Luna creates a wonderful dream for her. They become close friends with them hanging out in the dream realms on occasion, as well as Luna protecting Mary from some of her night terrors.

* Feared by: [[Pantheon/EyeAbilities Kaa]]
* The basilisk. A serpentine beast first created by Herpo the Foul, born when a toad hatches a chicken egg. This monster was left by Salazar Slytherin in order to get rid of Muggleborns he felt were a threat. The creature waited for Slytherin's heir, which came in the form of his descendant Tom Marvolo Riddle aka Lord Voldemort. [[SoulJar His first horcrux]] contained a living memory of his teenage self, who would try to use the Serpent of Slytherin to do his bidding and eliminate half-bloods and muggle-born students.
* The Serpent of Slytherin tends to keep to herself, serving as the servant of Lord Voldemort. He was overjoyed to meet the basilisk in his modern form, but most frustrated learning her venom was used to destroy horcruxes. Ironically, Herpo the Foul was also the creator of the first horcrux. One of the other reasons the Serpent of Slytherin keeps to herself is [[AxCrazy not a single sentence she speaks doesn't involve murder, blood or killing]]. She's been crawling across the House of Pantheon/MagicAndSorcery to purge her master's enemies.
* Her plan to exterminate [[FantasticRacism those her master finds inferiors]] led to her [[AssholeVictim paralyzing and killing Shinji Matou]], which got the attention of Medusa. She doesn't miss him at all, but is wary of such a monster being loose. Her own petrifying sight would likely work on the Serpent of Slytherin, and vice versa. And it's not something the beast wants.
* Frustrated at the fact that post-mortem her venom was used against her master. She has decided to go after anyone who would dare try to harvest her venom for their own ends, leading to her to hunt down Akame and Oberyn Martell. Ironically she's not fond of the Hall of Pantheon/{{Toxicity}}, although she is a point of interest for the gods there anyway. Caesar Clown would love to use her as the basis for a Devil Fruit as part of his own plans. He thinks he may have immunity to her paralyzing look in his ghost form, but as even ghosts are somewhat affected he's over-reaching himself.
* Has a couple friends in the pantheon, for what's it worth - mainly Lesale Deathbringer and the Lernean Hydra. They're extremely toxic serpentine beings, and the closest creatures that Slytherin's Monster can understand. Interestingly for as much of a ferocious beast that she is, [[HorrifyingTheHorror she is terrified of Apophis]] for being far more destructive and far worse a serpent than her. As the basilisk is TheDreaded, this speaks miles [[EldritchAbomination about]] [[GodOfEvil the Hated One]].
* Doesn't care for Finn the Human, for being a heroic swordsman, or Jack for much of the same reason. She's worried their blades will take her out, as she left the mortal realm through the sword of Godric Gryffindor. The Serpent of Slytherin wants to avoid deities who specialize in EyeScream as well, since that played a critical role in her defeat. Despises phoenixes too, as Fawkes the phoenix was the one who blinded her.
* Babidi was interested in Slytherin's Monster. He doesn't need to make eye contact to brainwash people and she is plenty evil, so he hopes to have a powerful servant. However he also considers her master a more useful ally than rival, at least for now. Kaa wishes that he could hypnotize her, but given her DeadlyGaze this would be suicide and he fears the basilisk.
* The deadly gaze of the basilisk doesn't work on SCP-173 or the Weeping Angels, what with them already being made of stone/stone-like material. And her venom has no effect either. She's basically screwed the moment she looks away from them, leading to her being terrified of them. SCP-096 and SCP-682 are affected, however the latter can adapt and the former is so determined being petrified won't stop it. She knows to try and stay away from the latter, but the former won't stop hunting her down and that terrifies her. Her own glare is impotent against the blind as well, so Toph can fight her off.
** Speaking of her gaze, it's a well-established fact that staring at her eyes directly is fatal, and indirectly leads to Petrification. Some wonder just how broad her power is.
** As ghosts are already dead, they get Petrified. While technically neither dead nor alive, Peeves isn't looking forward to meeting the Basilisk anytime soon.
** Magically-conjured constructs like a D&D Wizard's ''Arcane Eye'' get dispelled instantly, though the Wizard themself is unaffected.
** Cameras get broken as proven with one Colin Creevey. While that was an analog, it's assumed that digital surveillance would be similarly destroyed upon seeing the Basilisk, and those who see such footage "live" get Petrified, though those seeing recordings of her might not.
** As for other special lenses (like thermal vision), "live" censoring, or some other form of literal cognition-changing vision (like [[Pantheon/TeamFortress2 Pyrovision]]), that has not been tested yet.
* Got a serious taste of her own medicine when accidentally glancing at Ghatanathoa's horrific visage, [[AndIMustScream mummifying her while still alive]]. Voldemort went out for unicorn blood to heal his monster. Slytherin's Monster has grown a fear of both the Great Old One, and Johnny Blaze. The latter is highly unlikely to be affected by her gaze, and his DeathGlare would be devastating on her. Hilariously ''Harry Potter'' basilisks have a fear of rooster crowing [[WeaksauceWeakness as it is fatal for their kind]], making Chanticleer one of her dire enemies.

* Opposed by: [[Pantheon/EarthAndRock Geb]]
* Tyranitar, the Armor Pokemon. The final form of Larvitar, it is the rare "pseudo-legendary" of Johto and one of only two pseudo-legendaries not to be a dragon. It is so powerful that it can bring down a whole mountain to make its nest. The Pokemon is typically ferocious and destructive, however it has a sweet spot for its young.
* [[NotZilla Heavily influenced by the King of Monsters himself]], in appearance, temperament and even some of the moves it can learn like Hyper Beam. Not that it uses said move much, being physically oriented. Whenever Godzilla is busy, Tyranitar fills in for him.
* Few can stand being around Tyranitar, as he always brings a sandstorm with him. Some wished that he had [[PowerUpLetdown Unnerve]] instead. [[ExtraOreDinary Those w]][[DishingOutDirt ho can]] [[NoSell resist it]] often use it to their advantage. As such, it often gets into fights with Rayquaza, who can nullify the sandstorm. He has no problems with Groudon and Kyogre, however.
* Gaara ultimately picked Tyranitar as his partner due to the Sand Stream ability benefiting his power over sand. Toph, due to her ability to Earthbend, also came to like Tyranitar, as did Crixalis. However the House of Pantheon/{{Nature}} is generally wary of Tyranitar since even as a Larvitar it was able to eat a mountain, and its rampages lead to maps having to be re-arranged. Geb finds it particularly annoying that Tyranitar likes to eat and demolish his mountains.
* It would like to remind people that it is ''not'' the same thing as Godzilla, but its still a terrible idea to use nuke against him. It also points out that it doesn't like to get wet and would rather avoid the Hall of Pantheon/WaterAndMoisture. Ironically it can be taught [[MakingASplash Surf]], possibly referencing how Godzilla can traverse the sea.
* Due to filling in for Godzilla, Tyranitar has had to tussle with both King Ghidorah and [=MechaGodzilla=]. While the sheer villainy of Ghidorah is something Tyranitar can't tolerate, he is on better terms with the Ghidorah-like Orochi and Pokemon Hydreigon. The two enjoy a rivalry and [[WorthyOpponent worthy foe relationship]] compared to the hatred between Godzilla and Ghidorah.
* Sometimes hangs out with Tyrantrum, though most dragons don't care much for Tyranitar since "he's not a real dragon". Tyranitar prefers a rivalry with Metagross, as it is the other non-Dragon pseudo-legendary. And they both share a weakness to each other, so its a challenge for both. He has been found competing with the Deviljho, [[NotZilla another Godzilla copy]],
* He and Volcarona despise each other, but the latter [[ElementalRockPaperScissors is more bitter]]. Tyranitar has amazing durability, on par with [[Pantheon/{{Otherness}} Greed]], but what sets him back [[KryptoniteIsEverywhere is his weakness to a lot of things]], though he can brush off everything else. For this Stays '''FAR''' away from the House of Combat, for [[ElementalRockPaperScissors as its typing makes it surprisingly weak to being punched really hard]].
* One of the few it can trust with his young is Ash, due to him finding Larvitar and nursing it back to safety. Even if it is a Dark type, Tyranitar is a doting father. It loathes Relius Clover and Ozai [[AbusiveParents for being the complete opposite]], which Ozai finds rather problematic as Rock beats Fire. Due to being good parents and them being ferocious beasts, Tyranitar gets along with Bowser whenever he's not in full villain mode.

* Far away from Equestria is Farasi, a CultureChopSuey of Africa inhabited by zebras, kelpies, and abada. Medley Brook and Crystal are two such kelpies. They have the power to change water's state of matter, and this extends to their bodies, which are fluid. Medley Brook is usually in a liquid form, while Crystal is usually solid. When they were foals, they were friends with two zebras named Marini and Zecora, and two abada named Cactus Rose and Dust Devil. Zecora became distant from them all as she researched magic, until eventually she jumped on a ship to Equestria and never looked back.
* ...That was, until shortly after [[Pantheon/InternalPowerSources Twilight Sparkle]] was crowned the ruler of all Equestria. She wanted to expand Equestria's knowledge of the world, so she tasked her friends with exploring other nations. Applejack reluctantly dragged Zecora back to Farasi, where she reunited with her old friends. Together, they ventured into the desert to fight the destructive Grootslang, and discovered Farasi's long-forgotten Tree of Harmony. Each of the Farasians gained an element; Medley Brook's was laughter, because she entertained some cacti with a song to repay them for giving the group water, and Crystal's was Loyalty, because she dehydrated herself to save Dust Devil from falling.
* After the international Elements of Harmony saved the world from the Knights of Order, Applejack approached the Court of the Gods and vouched for Medley Brook and Crystal to be ascended to the co-goddesses of kelpies. The Court were impressed, but asked Applejack to bring them here so they could meet them for themselves. Medley was enthusiastic to meet the Court, but Crystal asked them what their deal was, and her mean streak almost got them both rejected. After their ascension, Pinkie Pie threw them a Welcome to the Pantheon Party.
* Their temple is a small oasis surrounded by palm trees. Medley Brook's half is warmer and filled with lotuses, water lilies, and similar freshwater flowers, while Crystal's is decorated with ice sculptures she made herself.
* As soon as she ascended, Medley's first goal was to meet all the water-related creatures she could, so her first stop was the Hall of Aquatic Life. She was [[CutenessProximity overwhelmed by how cute]] Oshawott and Popplio are, and she likes to play with them and Platypet on the waterslides in the [[Pantheon/PantheonLandmarks Platypus Playground]]. Sometimes she plays hide-and-seek with Vaporeon, where they take turns melting into the water and finding each other. She was also ecstatic to learn that there were different kinds of kelpies elsewhere in the multiverse, and set out to find them. One misadventure later, she met Keldeo of the Swords of Justice and immediately bombarded him with questions... until the others showed up. Medley, intimidated by their horn-swords, left.
* Crystal is nowhere near as enthusiastic, so she gets along better with similar aloof, cool types. Due to her more serious attitude, she has a far easier time hanging out with the Swords of Justice. Since Crystal was mischievous as a foal -- she used to freeze every puddle Zecora was about to step in -- she's a kindred spirit with Jack Frost.
* You'd think Crystal would get along with Elsa, seeing as they both have ice powers, but you would be wrong. Crystal found Elsa too mopey, and Elsa found Crystal too flippant. However, Medley Brook cried a river (literally) when she learned about Elsa's history, and that was the start of a beautiful friendship.
* When the two first met Percy Jackson, he assumed he could understand them because they were equines ''and'' beings of water. They explained that no, they're sapient beings, and TranslationConvention is in full effect in the Pantheon. Despite their awkward meeting, the three of them get along well, and Medley introduced him to the other ''My Little Pony'' deities.
* The duo's most unusual ally, however, is Kratos. In one of his own adventures, he and [[Pantheon/AfterlifeEntities Freya]] rode a kelpie to meet the [[TheWeirdSisters Norns]]. He wanted to show it to [[Pantheon/FightingCombos Atreus]], but wasn't able to, so he's glad he finally has some ''other'' kelpies to show them. However, he didn't even try to ride Medley Brook or Crystal; not only are they too small, but being zebra-like, they'd buck off anyone who tried.
* The Elric brothers find these two unsettling because they remind them of their [[Anime/FullmetalAlchemist2003 undead mother from another universe]], who could melt her body into water. Similarly, a lot of gods who've met the kind of kelpies who try to drown people (such as [[Pantheon/{{Commerce}} Scrooge McDuck]], his allies, and Jake Long) are wary of them. The ''Splatoon'' deities and the Wicked Witch of the West fear them for a far more mundane reason: they dissolve in water. Medley is absolutely distraught about this (except the Witch, who she thinks is ugly), but Crystal doesn't really care.
* Due to their isolation from Equestria, they'd never heard of Grogar, Tirek, or King Sombra before they ascended, but once they did, they instantly became enemies with all of them. Crystal thinks that Grogar and King Sombra would probably try to enslave all the Farasians, while Tirek could potentially flood the world if he absorbed all the kelpies' magic. Medley just finds them all scary.
* Kelpies explode when they come into contact with water. Medley Brook learned this the hard way many years ago when she tried to eat zap apples; her friends had to mop her up and put all her pieces in a bucket. Crystal swears Medley is shorter than she used to be. As a result, they keep well away from any electricity-users. One night, Volgin snuck up on their temple and tried to electrocute Medley in her sleep for kicks; fortunately, Crystal woke up and kicked him in the face. Also, they both find the Nuckelavee [[UncannyValley deeply unsettling]], being an undead, not-quite-equine ''thing'' that stinks of decay. They haven't realised yet that it's weak to fresh water.
* Back in Equestria, Twilight Sparkle didn't have much time to get to know Medley, Crystal, and the other international elements. Inquisitively, she visited their temple and asked them about their history with Zecora. Crystal was too stubborn to answer, but Medley Brook was all too eager to give her the details. It reminded Twilight of a bigger friendship problem in the Pantheon she hadn't been able to solve -- the centuries-long feud between [[Pantheon/{{Reptiles}} Master Oogway]] and [[Pantheon/OtherWeaponTropes Kai]] -- and asked them to help her solve it. They both agreed to come with her, even if Crystal complained the whole time.

* Opposed by: [[Pantheon/BodilyForm Aisling]]
* Complicated Relations: [[Pantheon/DraconicBeings Falkor]]
* The Faun is a mysterious creature who guarded the depths of a labyrinth containing the last portal to the Underworld, a land of magic and fantasy. The labyrinth itself is located in Spain, [[SarcasmMode which is an okay place to live in]] [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francoist_Spain in 1944]]. The Faun had been waiting for a long time for the return of his liege, the Princess Moanna, who had left her fairy kingdom long ago in order to live in the human world. She had reincarnated as Ofelia, a young girl fascinated with fairy tales, and the Faun gave her three tests in order to prove her identity. The Faun oversaw Ofelia's progress, chiding her whenever she went astray and helping her in indirect ways. How much he cared for her success or failure is debatable, but Ofelia did fulfill all the conditions and they both went back to the Underworld, leaving the cruel human world behind.
* Few realize this, but the Faun is actually one of the oldest deities in the Pantheon, in that he was one of the first around. Because of this, the circumstances of his ascension proper are lost to the sands of time, but it is known that he was absent a long time to fulfill his duty to see through Princess Moanna's return. When he was finally released from that, and after ascertaining that his lieges didn't require his services anymore, he returned to the Pantheon, surprising a lot of younger deities that the seat of FaunsAndSatyrs had an occupant after all, whereas the Main House reprimanded him for being away so long without checking in, but otherwise didn't bat an eye.
* His temple is the labyrinth that serves as an entry to his fairy kingdom home, the same one Ofelia/Moanna returned through. The labyrinth is capable of movement, though that's not something that happens to those who come in peace. It's easy to meet some very strange, almost offputting-looking fairies while navigating it... provided one's mind is open to the possibility, of course. Despite how creepy they look, they're unlikely to harm any visitors, though it's best to tread lightly if you're there to make any sort of dealing with the crafty Faun; that might blow up in your face.
* Jareth was interested in there being another labyrinth in the Pantheon and visited it to see how it compared to his. It's certainly nowhere near as intricate, though it does its job of feeling mysterious and magical. Jareth feels natural sympathy for the Faun, as fellow tricksters from a fairy land parallel to the ignorant human world. Jareth still finds the Faun and his labyrinth to be quite drab though, and has offered advice for ways to glam it up. The Faun, not caring for such showiness, keeps waving Jareth's advice.
* Being a high-ranking servant to the monarchs of a Fae land, the Faun is someone of interest to Oberon and Titania and enjoys their protection. Titania's more responsible and down-to-earth nature means the Faun respects her somewhat more than Oberon or his servant Puck; the Faun doesn't understand why they find it so amusing to meddle in humans' love lives. He doesn't really care how they decide to occupy their time either way, but he really wishes Puck would stop visiting him just to annoy him and occasionally steal his fairies to wreak some havoc somewhere. Appealing to the monarchs about the problem has done nothing, because Puck will just do as he will (and Oberon is probably backing him up).
* Sometimes likes to do research on human takes on fairies, if only to have a laugh at the inaccuracies and pointless flourishes. This is how he first heard about ''Alfheim Online'', and also his first contact with the concept of video games. All-in-all, he regards the game's players waging a pretend war with each other while dressing up as fairies with passive contempt. He ''is'', however, aggressively disgusted with the game's former admin Nobuyuki Sugou, due to styling himself a fairy monarch while committing atrocious actions, plus being a huge coward underneath all his bravado. The Faun doesn't care much at all about Sugou's victims (random humans are nothing to him), he just hates Sugou for being a particularly despicable human and for tarnishing the image of the fairy monarch. One of the Faun's favorite pastimes is to use his fairies to troll Sugou, and then mockingly wonder why "King Oberon" won't send his subjects away.
* No words can convey the depth of how much he doesn't care about humans' problems, which is best illustrated by the fact that he remained impassive in his labyrinth while fascists and the resistance were killing each other a short distance away. He was also pretty callous about Ofelia's family problems and berated her whenever she put them before her quest. This lack of empathy towards human matters is something familiar to Lady Amalthea, a unicorn who had taken her magical nature for granted before turning human and learning what life is like for them. With this in mind, Amalthea sometimes tries to convince the Faun not to look down on humanity's way of life. Although the Faun respects the opinion of someone of such great import as Lady Amalthea, he can't help but think of how Princess Moanna's own fascination with humans ended up backfiring and caused her much suffering until she returned to her kingdom. At best, the Faun thinks humanity is a crapshoot.
* About the only human who has managed to impress the Faun in some way is Frisk, due to his steadfast pacifism when dealing with the monsters in the Underground, while fixing the mess created by the Underground's monarchs Asgore and Toriel. It probably also helps that Frisk chose to stay Underground and live with the monsters instead of going back to the human world, which the Faun thinks is only natural. Frisk himself is determined to be friends with the Faun much like how he's made friends with the Underground's inhabitants. The Faun is willing to give him a chance at it, though he plans to have his own fun by devising three trials for Frisk to pass. As for Asgore and Toriel, the Faun finds those two's actions to be rather unbecoming of their positions, though he's conscious of his own place and polite when meeting them face to face for the sake of good relations between their kingdoms.
** Thanks to his fairies spying for him, the Faun is one of the few deities aware of [[spoiler:what's going on with [[Pantheon/TreesAndFlowers Flowey]], though he keeps that information to himself. Whether it's because it doesn't matter to him or he thinks it could be of use in the future is unknown.]]
* Despite representing FaunsAndSatyrs, he doesn't feel like he has anything in common with the ones residing in the Pantheon, so for the most part he pays no attention to the likes of [[Pantheon/{{Phrases}} Philoctetes]]. The sentiment appears to be mutual. There's also [[Pantheon/HuntersAndSlayers Hircine]], who, while not a faun or satyr himself, commands such creatures back in his world. As the Daedric Prince came to find out, the Faun will show him due respect when needed, but has no interest in submitting to the will of anyone besides his lieges, and would probably make his life difficult if he tried. Hircine decided to leave it be. As for Hircine's faun-like Daedra, the Faun can't help but pity them for their baffling fascination with humans and their mortality.
* The Faun looks down on the Irish fairy Aisling for getting herself caught up in meaningless human problems, as Aisling discovered when she decided to visit him after hearing he came from a fairy world as well. This caused Aisling to get into an argument with him, with Aisling wondering if it's really that difficult for her fellow fae to understand that friends help each other regardless of species. The Faun was still not convinced and concluded that if she weren't so naive and saw the things he saw, she'd know that HumansAreBastards. Needless to say, they are on bad terms, though it's somehow still better than with Dagda, as the Faun's apathy towards humans ironically means he doesn't plan on committing any heinous crimes against them.
* He is the target of the rarely seen ire of the Luckdragon Falkor. As a being who loves children and greatly values imagination, Falkor cannot forgive the Faun's poor guideship of a young girl like Ofelia in her dangerous trials. Even today, the Faun retains a flippant and unapologetic attitude about it all, saying the princess came back where she belonged and that was all that mattered, which just makes Falkor angrier. The Faun in turn mocks Falkor for coddling (in his view) the children he's interested in and for his overly saccharine attitude to things. The short of it is, these two creatures of imagination just can't see eye-to-eye. However, there is some likelihood that they could put their differences aside to fight against the enemies of imagination such as the Nothing and its most loyal servant Gmork.

* Opposed By: All equine deities and those who sympathize with them, though she's been trying to fix that.
* When it comes to mythical beasts, right after dragons and unicorns in terms of prominence are griffons. What exactly they are in terms of appearance is the fusion of a bird of prey and some quadruped mammal, usually an eagle and lion or horse. That said, there are actually [[https://web.archive.org/web/20180426140833/https://ayem.deviantart.com/art/Bird-Griffins-of-the-World-150168282 several variations]]. But for the representative in the Pantheon, a classical Griffon/Griffin/Gryphon will be selected.
* The griffon named Gilda was selected out of a grab bag since not only did she fit the bill, she also had more characterization than most examples, and she's actually a griffon rather than merely having their ''design'' based on such. She first debuted visiting Rainbow Dash at Ponyville, disliking Pinkie Pie bordering on possessiveness, and being a general malicious prankster to the ponies around her that she considered dweebs (which matches Earth mythological griffons having negative attitudes towards equines). One prankster party later which she thought Pinkie arranged (it was actually Rainbow), she lashed out, showing her true colors, and eventually left the town on bad terms with her old friend, who didn't appreciate this behavior. That would not be the last time she's seen, though, since shortly after this was when she was nominated and ascended to the Pantheon to represent griffons as a whole.
* That said, things would change as more of Equestria's story unfoldded. [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS5E8TheLostTreasureOfGriffonstone During a Friendship Mission to Griffonstone]], Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were dispatched there to see what needed doing there. And naturally they would encounter Gilda once again. However, as it turns out, compared to all the other griffons in Griffonstone (before Gabby came looking for the Cutie Mark Crusaders and before Gallus applied to the School of Friendship), who were all greedy and abrasive in general ([[Analysis/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS5E8TheLostTreasureOfGriffonstone though it might also be a case of wounded communal pride]]), she's actually one of the ''nicer'' ones by virtue of befriending an outsider, and held some concern for her fellow kin. Thanks to stuff that happened there (mainly an attempt to find the Idol of Boreas, and a crisis that forced her to choose between saving her old friend and ''her'' friend, or reteiving said idol with both about to fall into the abyss), Gilda managed to make amends with them, patch up their friendship, [[HeroOfAnotherStory and it became her task to spread that virtue throughout Griffonstone]]. [[ShaggyDogStory Though it would take far longer for it to actually take]], but at least two more griffons from there (the aforementioned Gabby and Gallus) begin to visit Equestria with far less prejudiced views.
* During her Pantheonic debut, she had avoided all parties after Pinkie Pie's persistent attempts to get her in one. After the events of Griffonstone, though, she's been a little more receptiive to them. She's also started hanging out with Rainbow Dash again after patching things up, getting int pulling pranks, though her standards had to be raised in order to keep things from getting tense. She can also be seen selling griffon scones in her own temple or the House of Food sometimes.
* For a time, Fluttershy had reason to be afraid while visiting the House of Beasts and Fauna due to Gilda's presence in it. Given the last time they encountered one another, the griffon had driven her to tears, this is completely understandable. While she had been told about Gilda's change of heart after the visit to Griffonstone, she's still scared around the griffon. And with Discord as one of her best friends, Gilda in turn has not found the courage to approach the pegasus pony in risk of him being around, and what he might do to her. And him showing up sometimes to participate in pranks with Pinkie (and Rainbow) means she's more and more nervous, as much as she hides it through bluster.
* On a different note, [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendsForeverIssue24 Once, sometime after Rainbow and Pinkie's visit to Griffonstone]], Gilda requested Rarity's help in designing uniforms for Griffonstone's [[RugbyIsSlaughter boffyball]] team, and they even played together. While it was a total loss, winning one point against the team that beat them encouraged the griffon team enough for the next season, now with Rarity as a supplier for their uniforms. Gilda has not interacted with the other friends within the four's circle, [[Pantheon/InternalPowerSources Twilight Sparkle]] and [[Pantheon/SpecializedNarratives Applejack]], though [[Literature/TwilightSparkleAndTheCrystalHeartSpell one record insists]] that she conspired with Trixie Lulamoon to commit pranks and scams to torment the then-burgeoning Princess. The griffon denies meeting either magic-oriented horned pony in any meaningful capacity (besides the former attending the party she was in before).
%% * Is unsure if she would get along well with [[Pantheon/WeaponWielding Revy]] due to sharing the same [[Creator/MarykeHendrikse voice actress]] and their general abrasive behavior. [[https://www.deviantart.com/johnjoseco/art/42-Gilda-and-Revy-824825466 Not after their arm-wrestling match]].
%% * Her hate for Agent 47 is because she heard a rumor that he offered to kill her (for free, no less!). She has a sneaky suspicion as to why he might want to do that, but doesn't dare attack Fluttershy (whom he had proposed this offer to, and whom she [correctly] suspects) due to all the other friends the "dweeb" now has in the Pantheon and how ''much less'' merciful they could be. [[spoiler:Making up to Fluttershy so that she can convince him to stop is becoming a more and more convincing reason.]]
* Hagrid occasionally comes over to her temple to visit Buckbeak/Witherwings. Still trying to learn how to be nice, she often comes off as a non-romantic {{Tsundere}} whenever the giant visits. It doesn't help that his love for animals (naivety aside) reminds her of Fluttershy (whom Hagrid is naturally friends with). It's during these sessions that Gilda ''tries'' really hard to find an opportunity to just get it over with and apologize to the pegasus pony, but never could find a good time as she doesn't want to do it in front of the half-giant. By extension, she doesn't like the Malfoys due to what they did to Hagrid's own griffon.
* Gets attacked by Roman Torchwick whenever he passes her by, and she is not happy about this. It doesn't help that he's a dangerous criminal and has some experience with violent situations, which means getting entangled with him will never end well. Ruby Rose eventually explained to her that [[spoiler:he had been eaten by a Griffon Grimm back in his home realm, and she had been witness to this event]]. Gilda could see that it finally makes sense, though of course it doesn't excuse his actions.
* As it turns out, she's not unique in having been a former arrogant jackass. There's also [[Pantheon/LandAndSeaTravel Lightning]] [[Pantheon/CommonColors McQueen]] and [[Pantheon/PridefulArchetypes Emperor Kuzco]], and several others. The race car only became a jerk after being betrayed once in his youth, the emperor was raised by his evil advisor Yzma, while her kind as a whole became jerks due to losing their treasure, the Idol of Boreas. Lightning's time in Radiator Springs mellowed him out, for Kuzco it's his time with Pacha (and the time away from him after a misunderstanding), and for Gilda it's when her old friend and ''her'' newer friend visited Griffonstone and they made amends during an attempt to retrieve the Idol.
* [[Pantheon/OtherCriminals Aladdin]] and [[Pantheon/DraconicBeings Jake]] [[Pantheon/{{Transformations}} Long]] have also had encounters with griffons before. [[https://disney.fandom.com/wiki/Egg-stra_Protection Both instances]] [[https://adjl.fandom.com/wiki/The_Egg involved eggs]], though. Gilda for her part isn't keen on elaborating on how griffon reproduction works in her world. As for her opinions on the street rat and American Dragon, she's neutral on both of them. The Warden and Alistair Theirin on the other hand expressed excitement upon seeing her in person, and the first time they met, they used their money, influence and political power to throw her a parade. It was quite overwhelming, and she lashed out a few times due to being unable to handle this sudden fame, but [[RagtagBunchOfMisfits they've dealt with worse]] and were patient with her until she cooled down. While the Grey Wardens didn't view griffons as steeds or servants but as full blown partners, they were long extinct by the time Alistair and the Warden were born.
* [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyTheMovie2017 Was concerned when the Storm King attacked Equestria]]. Some guess she was worried about Rainbow and Pinkie, but she just claims her worry was for Griffonstone, which was still in no shape to hold off an invasion. And given its sorry state, one couldn't refute that statement. That doesn't necessarily mean the other theory isn't true, though. %% After those events, Gilda found herself receiving a special envoy to also represent her kind: Princess Skystar, whose race also fits under the trope Gilda represents, even though they're not of the same species (griffon to hippogriff) and the fact that she was introduced as a ''seapony'', which was why she isn't ascended. There's also the somewhat awkward fact that the envoy is a princess while she's just a civilian, not that Skystar minds one bit.
* Eventually, she got the opportunity for the apology to Fluttershy after another attack from Roman and his HiredGuns crippled her wings[[note]]He hadn't been after her specifically; she was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.[[/note]] and she required immediate medical attention. At the time, Fluttershy was the only one in the area available to tend to her, and the griffon took the chance to say sorry for her behavior all those years ago. During the confession, after seeing the pegasus ward off an opportunistic goon with [[DeathGlare the Stare]], the griffon realized this was the right decision and that getting that treatment would've been a very bad idea. By the end of the day, while not the best of friends, Rainbow is now able to hang with both of them without things getting difficult. Since then, she's had more comfortable visits with Hagrid and appreciated his company more.

* This Pegasus was created by the King of Olympus, Zeus, as a birthday present to his son, Hercules. Many years later, he became one of his companions, as well as his steed.
* It is believed that the Pegasus was born from the decapitated gorgon, Medusa, after she was slain by the hero Perseus. The steed, it is said, was likely born from Poseidon raping Medusa, making him his "son". (Pegasus was very uncomfortable by this idea.) This steed is ridden by the legendary hero, Bellerophon, who had slain the monster Chimera. As for Medusa, "Pegasus" was very frightened of the gorgon and she wasn't the gorgon that his friend, Hercules, befriended.
** He also found [[Pantheon/{{Otherness}} Rider]], whose true name is Medusa, and was rather horrified when she summoned another Pegasus by slitting her own throat and drawing the blood that formed the steed.
** Perseus managed to ride one of the Pegasi, though there were some inconsistency with this assumption. First, he heard that the race were driven to extinction by Calibos. Second, [[Film/ClashOfTheTitans2010 the one Pegasus he rode]] was bigger, meaner, and black. And finally, he thought that there was one only and thought that it was birth from the body of Medusa after her head was cut off. Both of them gave up thinking about it, especially now that Perseus has his own Bellerophon reign.
* Like Hercules, [[WesternAnimation/{{Hercules}} he was deceived by both Hades and Jafar]] into fighting Aladdin and his friends. Thankfully, they learned of their plans and stopped them, and he befriended the Magic Carpet.
* He found many small Pegasus ponies and some Alicorns in the Pantheon. He is constantly being challenged by Rainbow Dash to see which one of the two is the fastest Pegasus in the Pantheon.
** He is a bit wary of Princess Cadance, though, because he was once tricked by Pain and Panic when they disguised themselves as a pink Pegasus and lured him into a trap.
* He heard there was a Pegasus that aided Kratos in [[VideoGame/GodOfWarII his journey to the Island of Creation]], but it was killed during the journey. "Pegasus" doesn't want to let the God of War ride him and make him go through dangerous voyages that would get himself killed.
* He enjoys the company of Princess Caeda and other pegasus riders. He heard how there were other Pegasi in their home continent, where they were bred and raised to fight. They could be found in the parts of the continent ranging from the Kingdom of Macedon to the Kingdom of Hoshido.
* He became a good friend of Percy Jackson, especially since he could appease him as the son of Poseidon, god of horses in the Greek pantheon. He also found out that Percy also befriended another Pegasus named Blackjack, but since the latter is not in the Pantheon, he allows Percy to ride him when needed.
* Gilda doesn't like him and would sometimes give "Pegasus" a hard time. He knows that Hercules met a gryphon before, but he never truly met that gryphon himself.
* [[VideoGame/KingdomHeartsII When Sora returned to the Colosseum]] -- and when Hades sent the Hydra to destroy the Colosseum and kill Hercules -- he aided Sora in order to reach the creature and destroy it.
* He thought that Heracles was his friend, Hercules, but it was the god-king of the horses instead. Still, the two horses get along just fine.
* He is often compared to Krypto the Superdog, in being the animal sidekick to their heroic owners. In fact, the comparison of the two could be very [[{{Expy}} noticable]], much like with Hercules and Superman.

* She is a former follower of Bugs Bunny, but as Bugs has occupied a lot of Houses already, she became the Goddess of [[BunnyTropes Bunnies]] until being moved here.
* Is very glad about her ascension. Rather sick of being the ButtMonkey when she served Bugs, she threatened to use her Lunatic Red Eyes to drive the next person who mocks her insane. However, she quickly found out that her powers [[NoSell don't affect deities higher than her]], so it was a bit of an empty threat. Her main everyday duty involve making rounds through every House, peddling her master's medicines.
** However, [[Manga/{{Naruto}} Itachi]] [[MasterOfIllusion Uchiha]], took Reisen as a student in the art of ''genjutsu'', and has stated that, even though she does not possess the Sharingan, she may, with enough training, be capable of using the ''[[MindRape Tsukuyomi]]'' [[note]]also, pun: Tsukuyomi is the name of the Shinto moon deity, translates to "moon reader", and involves a red-and-silver moon as the centerpoint of the illusion. Now, what is Reisen and where is she from?[[/note]]. Around the time when Itachi was placed in the Fallen, Reisen had develop her technique long enough to affect higher powered gods, but only if they push her that far.
** She has also started training under [[Pantheon/PowerAndAbilities Scott Summers]] in order to improve her ability to shoot danmaku (particularly lasers) out of her eyes. While her true strength is firing them from her FingerGun, she is making some progress.
** Recently, she have been known to use a technique similar that of Izanagi. Whether Itachi have taught her that is still in question.
* Hong Meiling has been the only thing keeping her from being more abused. Fortunately for Reisen, her abuse started to slowly disappear so that even after Meiling became a goddess of {{Gate Guardian}}s, she didn't have to worry about much.
* She [[VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiStrangeJourney once]] had a nightmare about [[MythologyGag being skinned and boiled alive in saltwater, to be later eaten]] by Alice. Reisen now avoids her like the plague.
* Was formerly the Goddess of [[BunnyTropes Bunnies]], but was moved out of that position. She then became the Goddess of [[MoonRabbit Lunar Rabbits]], ostensibly a position better suited for her.
** However, her role switch did not go without problems. When [[Franchise/WinnieThePooh Rabbit]] entered the Pantheon, [[Film/MontyPythonAndTheHolyGrail The Rabbit of Caerbannog]] tried to kill him in order to become the God of Rabbits, thinking that Reisen was gone for good. However, Reisen blasted the Rabbit of Caerbannog into pieces before anything would happen.
* Some time ago, a certain animatronic rabbit came up to her to scare her, causing her to blast him into oblivion. She threatened to do it again if he tried the same thing again.
* Widely disliked among ''Touhou'' deities, among others, for running out on the Moon armies in the middle of a war. Her master and teacher, Eirin Yagokoro, knows quite a bit more about her defection than she lets on, but prefers to keep silent on that matter.
* To the surprise of some gods, she seems to get along fine with [[VideoGame/SenranKagura Hibari]]. This is to the point that Hibari has even summoned Reisen to help her couple of times. [[spoiler:Once Hibari told her the truth about her eyes, Reisen has started to train her on mastering the art of [[MindControl Mystic Eye]]. While Reisen is rather harsh to Hibari when she fails, the latter says that she doesn't mind the lecture.]]
* Some hungrier gods once came to her asking whether she could make some mochi. As it turned out, she could, and since then, she occasionally makes some to send to the House of Food.
* Reisen have mixed feelings about fighting against the moon recently. Considering she might have to fight against her former owner, that feeling is justified. It sure doesn't improve her image as a traitor, though.
** Fortunately for her, not only did she avoid going to outright war against them, [[spoiler:she also managed to save them.]]
* Thank to Tewi, her temple has been safe from the threat of the Killer Rabbit. They still have a hostile relationship.
* [[spoiler:It should be noted that Reisen is starting to feel less like a Lunar Rabbit and more like a regular youkai rabbit, though many doubt that she will drop her title so easily]].
