* Imagine growing up reading superhero comics, only to learn out you are the superhero you idolize. This happened with Clark Kent of Earth Prime, later known as Superboy-Prime; turns out he was his universe's Kal-El and his powers awoke during Halley's Comet. But things almost immediately went wrong; [[ComicBook/CrisisOnInfiniteEarths the Crisis destroyed his world]], timelines were reoriented and he along with a few other survivors retreated to a PocketDimension. Only for the world they saved to get DarkerAndEdgier. Now, imagine the extremes one might go to restore the old world, and how cynical this would all make you. An AccidentalMurder and major psychological issues later, compounded with teen angst and the powers of Silver Age Superman? You get the psychopath known as Superboy-Prime.
* Superboy-Prime is one of the least liked gods because of his psychopathy, NeverMyFault worldview, general whininess and what he represents; he's a jab at toxic fans and fandom entitlement, who complain that things are too dark or have changed too much. A point of contention is whether the writers are right to do so or they go overboard. As such, he is despised by all fanboys for being the ultimate negative fanboy. The barest exception is Comic Book Guy; he thinks he's a horrible person, but Jeff Albertson is first on the forums ranting and complaining. [[GoKartingWithBowser They found genuine enjoyment trolling forums and making negative reviews together]].
* His IronicHell was when [[ComicBook/FinalCrisis he finally returned home]], only for his parents to be horrified at what he did because they can read it in comics. They now live in fear of him because of it. Many GoodParents sympathize with the position Superboy Prime's parents are in, dreading the idea of their children becoming tyrants and psychopaths as Prime became. Also, as a FallenHero angry at his situation he was interested in [[Pantheon/{{Fathers}} Ultraman Belial]], but not seriously enough to make an alliance. Prime is driven more by angst while Belial leans towards revenge and spite.
* Linkara is very vocal about his hatred of Superboy-Prime. He considers him a poorly made example of the FallenHero, though he did list worst examples. Come his review of ''ComicBook/InfiniteCrisis'' he acknowledges there's a point in toxic nostalgia, but still feels as a critique and character Prime is flawed. Prime hates Linkara because he treats him as whiny and obnoxious(which he is), yet ironically likes watching his videos. Mainly the ones where he's in full rant mode. Prime thinks they're not so different, given [[ShadowArchetype Holokara]]. [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness Telling]] Linkara's response was "Oh go fuck off already!" Linkara hates him even more than [[Pantheon/VillainousArchetypes Mephisto]], who he can at least see as more a cipher for Joe Quesada's blatant contempt for the Peter x Mary Jane romance and tool for a bad retcon.
* Given how hated he is, Superboy-Prime soon turned his eyes to the official god of [[HateSink Intentionally Hated Characters]], Jasper Batt Jr. He happens to utilize a jacked-up superhero form, intriguing Prime. He considers him a useful tool though not much beyond that. That said Prime is still less hated than Zamasu due to the sheer scope of his carnage, and total hypocrisy throughout. Zamasu just considers Prime an example of how mortals abuse their god-given power.
* His home universe is Earth-Prime, later referred to as Earth 33. It's meant to be RealLife, so Superboy-Prime is often involved with the Pantheon/{{Metafiction}} sub-house. He even was a troll in the DC forums for a time. Superboy-Prime has become a troper in order to become more GenreSavvy, and use the knowledge against his enemies. However it's hard for him to resist the urge to be a WikiVandal, only avoiding so for now because he's afraid of getting banned.
* Yes, he's been on long enough to remember the Fallen, and that he was a member. He also remembers the Disgraces, and that Ebony and Scrappy were members. While Scrappy-Doo finds him too evil to work with, Prime is sympathetic towards his plight as TheScrappy considering he is also listed as such. [[HateSink Of course with Prime that's much of the point]] and [[TakeThatScrappy Black Lantern Alex Luthor Jr hit him over the head]], but still. He believes Ebony is a TrollFic and deserves more credit. Much as how he wants to be the real Superboy, he wants to help her be a true and central fixture in the ''Literature/HarryPotter'' universe.
* Doesn't get why he should be hated so much given the Earth-Prime he wanted to restore was, well, the universe his haters come from. Deadpool, finding him rather despicable, pointed out that no, ''it isn't''. Earth-Prime isn't RealLife, but rather a fictional representation of real life. Prime [[BerserkButton tore Deadpool apart at the mention of this]], screaming "how dare you, [[{{Hypocrite}} maniac]], [[MemeticMutation I'll kill you to death!]]". On the other hand, Nefarian may find him annoying but he is someone who can help him troll the audience with.
* Hates when people laugh at the "I'll kill you to death" line. People consider him the most groan-worthy in ''ComicBook/CountdownToFinalCrisis'', leading to yells of "oh come on, ''everyone'' hates Countdown! I actually agree with Linkara on that everyone was screwed over, but [[ItsAllAboutMe especially ME!]]". He scoffs at the memes of him "punching time" as well, as it was only something he could accomplish in the pocket dimension. He wants [[Characters/SupermanRoguesGalleryMToZ his character page]] to drop it and feature him in his suit instead.
* His rage doesn't just extend to the characters of DC, [[RageAgainstTheAuthor but the writers and editors]]. He blames them for ruining his life. [[NeverMyFault While not accepting blame]], given that they're, well, ''the writers'' and [[JokerImmunity they never let Prime die or rest]] (even forgoing the apparent HeelRealization he had in ''ComicBook/BlackestNight''), [[JerkassHasAPoint his anger at them may not be unjustified]]. Pretty much the only comic book writers he respects are Jack Kirby and Stan Lee for being the granddaddies of the genre, but they'd rather stay far away from him.
* Superboy-Prime also has a beef with authors who insert themselves as characters, arguing the likes of the Author and Andrew Hussie are prime examples of their detrimental effects on the world of fiction. They consider him delusional. Prime is somewhat fond of Bob for his rebellion against the Author, [[EvenEvilHasStandards but Bob finds him repellent]]. His hatred even extends to the contributors of the Trope Pantheon, arguing they're to blame for the ForeverWar of the pantheon.
* Though an OmnicidalManiac, he's not going to work with the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfDestruction. He's still mad about the time Nekron's Black Lanterns invaded his home and livelihood. He's not going to side with [[Pantheon/{{Leadership}} Darkseid]] or [[Pantheon/EyeAppearances Trigon]] either, despite shared hatred at Superman and the Teen Titans respectively. Mainly they regard him [[PsychopathicManchild as a brat throwing a tantrum]]. But he is going to try stitching back his alliance with the Cyborg Superman because of their shared EvilCounterpart status and vendetta against the Man of Steel. The Reverse-Flash thinks Prime might work as an ally as they are fueled by a narcissistic vendetta [[BrokenPedestal against the heroes they once idolized]], and Prime really doesn't like the different versions of the Flash.
* Not the only evil Superman. There's [[Pantheon/OtherDimensions Ultraman]], and there's Regime Superman. The latter doesn't like Prime because he's unstable and chaotic, [[KnightTemplar and that's not going to work for him]]. Though they do share a commonality in [[FreudianExcuse their lives being ruined]], leading to their evil. The Plutonian is more symbolically an evil Superman, but he's the one Superboy-Prime gets along the most. As they are fueled by their ego, AxCrazy and generally unstable, it makes sense they would get along.
* He's been encouraged to go after the [[TheCape Superman-esque Statesman]] after making a declaration that [[IfICantHaveYou if he can never be or live up to Superman, he will destroy his legacy in all]] [[TheCape who represent]] [[SupermanSubstitute what he is]]. He's not going to ask [[Pantheon/IntellectualArchetypes Lord Recluse]] to help, [[EvenEvilHasStandards who deems him a homicidal maniac]]. Though he spent much of his appearances still believing he was a hero, [[ComicBook/LegionOfSuperheroes learning of his joke status in the Rogues Gallery]] led him the conclusion: [[ThenLetMeBeEvil he's damn well gonna be remembered as the greatest super-VILLAIN ever known]].
* His ego and irritability makes it hard to make friends, but Superboy-Prime manages. Hal Stewart and Syndrome's shared entitlement and desire to take down the supers who "betrayed them" leads them to have common ground with Prime. Especially Syndrome, who has a "never meet your heroes" outlook on [[Pantheon/OtherRelatives the Incredibles]].
* Incredibly envious of the mainstream Superboy, Conner Kent, who he insists isn't a real Superboy. If anyone counts as the number one ArchEnemy to Prime, it's him. Well, number two, as it's hard to beat the Anti-Monitor's "destroying your entire universe" feat. Because of this he relates to Lord Drakkon, for his desire of conquest while also having serious contempt and envy towards his heroic AlternateSelf. His time exploring the House of Pantheon/OtherDimensions has led him to oppose Funny Valentine, simply for the fact his NeverTheSelvesShallMeet power could knock out him and the Man of Steel in one blow.
* Holds some sympathy for Yamcha and Cool Cat, as they have been seen as jokes by the fandom due to the MemeticLoser and MemeticMolester label thrown at them respectively, and Prime can relate to fandom mockery...granted, [[HateSink he deserves it]]. Though he doesn't give a riff on Jason Todd in comparison, and Jason Todd rightly considers him an unhinged lunatic. Ironically Superboy-Prime punching the barriers of reality is what resurrected him in the first place.
* Catching up on his reading of DC Comics, Prime has discovered possible outcomes for himself in alternate timelines. He's had differing opinions on them.
** Though not specifically an AlternateTimeline of his own world, ''ComicBook/SupermanSecretIdentity'' was inspired by his initial concept as "what if a comic book fan really was Superman". It ultimately ended positively for that Superman, though he wasn't exactly a fanboy of the Superman comics. Prime believes this is what his life would've ended up like were it not for the Crisis and is even more bitter it never happened. He thought ''ComicBook/{{Convergence}}'' [[RetGone ret-goned]] his fall to evil, but with his recent appearance in ''ComicBook/{{Shazam}}'' this has been disproven.
** Because of his JokerImmunity, [[ComicBook/LegionOfSuperheroes the Time Trapper]] was a potential future for him. Granted the Time Trapper has MultipleChoicePast as a superpower, but it was pretty impressive. However that incarnation made a fatal mistake; [[BerserkButton don't boss Prime around or claim you're smarter than him]]. Even if he is really just an idiot. On reflection(or more accurately reading comics about how powerful the Time Trapper is), [[EveryoneHasStandards even Prime agrees he did something stupid]].
** [[ComicBook/TalesFromTheDarkMultiverse Another timeline]] deals with an alternate version of ''Infinite Crisis'' where [[Pantheon/{{Personalities}} Ted Kord]] shot Maxwell Lord instead. However he soon learnt [[HeWhoFightsMonsters the road to hell is paved with good intentions]]. Eventually Prime ended up agreeing with his methods, but as that Ted devolved into a KnightTemplar Prime was assimilated into an OMAC when he went a bit overboard.
-->'''Superboy-Prime''': "Typical...we have someone from this corrupted world trying to help me and it still ends badly. Though I don't blame that Ted. Really, I blame Barbatos for having those timelines be destined for ruin".
* As whiny and idiotic as Superboy-Prime can be, ''[[NotSoHarmlessVillain he is not to be underestimated]]''. This is a PsychopathicManchild with all the powers of Silver Age Superman(you know, the one who can move solar systems with ease), while lacking the weakness to kryptonite and magic. With the former it's because kryptonite only affects those from the same universe. Edward Elric is working on the alchemic formula for Earth-Prime kryptonite en masse to keep him at bay. And that's not even getting into what a blue star would do for him, ''especially'' if it's the aborted Time Trapper incarnation. In short, there's a reason for his Overdeity rank.
* Interestingly [[HateSink for someone so hated]] Superboy-Prime is not without SympathyForTheDevil from some gods in the Trope Pantheon. Raiden laments he could've have potentially become an inspirational hero, but he threw it away and became an antithesis. Madoka, Wander and Yusuke wish to find make him optimistic and genuinely heroic. This actually made him smile warmly, before turning into a frown. [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness And yet the entire time he dropped his usual narcissistic attitude]], showing just for a moment a glimmer of the Man of Steel.
-->'''Superboy-Prime''': "[[YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre You think even I can be redeemed?]] [[SincerityMode Thank you]]. But it's too late for me. [[ComicBook/BlackestNight I tried getting a redemption arc]] [[ComicBook/TeenTitans but it was ignored]]. [[TheScrappy Fans and writers hate me]]. [[Website/TVTropes This very wiki]] [[Monster/{{Superman}} dubs me as completely evil with no hope of redemption]]. And the writers [[JokerImmunity will never]] [[StatusQuoIsGod let me rest]]. [[DespairEventHorizon It's too late for me]]. [[PetTheDog But it's not for you]]. [[DoNotGoGentle Never give up, even at the very end]]. Be a better Superman than I ever could".
* To the shock of literally ''everyone'' in the Pantheon, [[ComicBook/DarkNightsDeathMetal recent events]] have led to Superboy-Prime [[HeelFaceTurn redeeming]] [[RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap himself]], having been convinced by Wonder Woman to help the other heroes to save the multiverse. This would culminate in him [[HeroicSacrifice sacrificing his life]] battling The Batman Who Laughs so to give the multiverse a chance at survival. However, not only would the multiverse reward his sacrifice by bringing him back to life, but also restoring Earth-Prime and all of its residents; [[EarnYourHappyEnding giving Superboy-Prime a second chance at being the hero he always wanted to be]]. Since then, Superboy-Prime has eased up on his unpleasant StrawFan tendencies [[TheAtoner and has tried to atone for his atrocities]]; although this hasn't stopped him from still being reviled by many of the DC deities and the butt of numerous jokes in the Pantheon (something that he's bregrudginly accepted).
* Has had frequent [[SitcomArchNemesis message board battles]] with newcomer [[Pantheon/CouplesOrientation Luz Noceda]], due to them representing opposite sides of fandom, [[VillainRespect though he does respect her for having a complete story despite her show being cancelled halfway through]].

* Enemies: '''[[Pantheon/AntiHeroism Travis Touchdown]]''', [[Pantheon/JealousyAndEnvy Syndrome]], Sakura Kasugano, Anyone targeted by her
* A seemingly ordinary and ditzy university student who's good at playing her flute[[note]]Even though it looks more like a recorder[[/note]], there's more to Kimmy Howell than appearance alone. She's a ''big'' fan of Travis Touchdown, claiming to be his number one fan, and in order to prove it she herself has to become an assassin as strong as he is. Winning the National Student Assassin championship, she would then go on to meet the Crownless King in the flesh where Kimmy told Travis in her love letter (that he had to read out loud by the way) that she plans to defeat him and [[IfICantHaveYou keep his head as a trophy]]. Travis ended up knocking her out exclaiming "he can't kill a co-ed", one of the few assassins he spared the life of made more prominent by the fact that she fought Travis after he got over his inability to kill women.
* Travis went about his usual business training with [[Pantheon/WeaponizedTools Shovel Knight]] when the sounds of a flute started playing. Travis was skeptical at first, but the two continued on until they heard a girl calling out for Travis along with a bunch of nicknames, the most common being "Travis the Great". [[ThisIsGonnaSuck Having heard his suspicions being confirmed]], Travis turned around to see Kimmy Howell with her double beam katana activated asking for a rematch, one that involves her fulfilling that promise. Shovel Knight offered to help but Travis refused on the grounds that he's going to school her again, this time with the added experience from being in the Pantheon. Sure enough, he won again and [[YouAreNotReady told her to come back again sometime later]].
** Now, he expected her to be out of the Pantheon for a while but unfortunately for him, onlookers decided to nominate the girl for ascension. The '''Goddess of [[ImYourBiggestFan Declaring They're the Biggest Fan]]''' being her title. At the very least, she decided to go train and get stronger in an effort to keep up with him. Not exactly out of his hair, as from time to time she'll challenge him again and again, but at the very least they're infrequent.
** Until she did meet him again, but clearly the both of them had changed and for better and worse. [[spoiler: While she became a famous diva who puts on shows for fans, she clearly resents Travis after their fight and likely never even looking for a rematch. During the ranked fights against the "Galactic Heroes" Kimmy fought Travis again only this time it ended with her death]].
* Though a lower ranked assassin than the others from her world and certainly not as experienced like her idol, she did win a championship for students aspiring to be assassins (even if she admits herself there was some luck involved) in addition to holding her own against Travis with her more elegant style of fighting, {{Groin Attack}}s aside. Not to mention she proclaims herself as a quick learner which holds a bit of water as she is one of the few young assassins with the other being Travis' self-nominated Herald Shinobu. And Shinobu grew up to be a very skilled assassin in Asia after Travis' retirement [[TimeSkip in the span of three years]]. It's no surprise that she considers herself a rival to other assassins both from Santa Destroy and here in the Pantheon.
* Setting aside the fact that all beam katanas resemble [[Franchise/StarWars lightsabers]], her choice of weapon gets compared to Darth Maul's. At least, when the beam's colored red, [[InconsistentColoring sometimes it can appear green or blue-ish]]. There are some who think she underwent some training under him but he denies such claims. His only Padawon was his brother, [[UnskilledButStrong Savage Oppress]], but he ended up being killed by Darth Sidious when he realized Maul lived. Many point it's much more of a safety hazard than Maul's own lighsaber considering it doubles as an instrument and it would be much easier to harm oneself if you were to, say, wanting to play it.
* It should be pointed out that, despite never giving up on taking her idol down, she still continues her life as a student outside of her work of cold-blooded murder and attends the Pantheon's Elysium Academy despite, y'know, her rep[[note]]Then again, they just let about anyone in that school as they do in the Pantheon[[/note]]. As long as you stay away from the topic of Travis, especially if you're a girl and including any word that references being a fan of him, you're pretty golden. Not quite as extreme as some of the other {{Yandere}}s here, but it couldn't hurt to be careful.
* Originally was seen wearing glasses but she seems to have [[TheGlassesGottaGo ditched them]] at some point before her confrontation with Travis with no explained reason as to why. [[Pantheon/{{Eyewear}} Acena]] thought that was a shame, and is currently persuading her to wear them again. She really can only be seen wearing them when Acena's around but it's a start, anyways.
* Has some similarities with other fans in the Pantheon. For example, Syndrome back when he was still a fan of Mr. Incredible, and Kimmy aren't all that different. Both are self-proclaimed greatest fans to their idols to which neither really looked at their fans like they wanted to. Difference is, Syndrome got his dreams crushed by his very idol and consequently became a HeroKiller while Kimmy got to duel with her idol and still continues with her dreams with Travis not doing that much to dissuade her. Syndrome thinks it's pretty pathetic she's still in that phase like he was in, as far as he's concerned you can't count on anyone, ''especially'' your heroes. Finding the supervillain annoying and too much like Destroyman, she avoids him and wouldn't be hesitant on offing him when the time comes.
** Another deity she has similarities to is Sakura Kasugano considering she too was inspired to fight after seeing their respective people in action. Not to mention, there's also the fact they have a crush on their respective heroes and learned how fight as well as they could have by just being determined enough while also being quite the quick learner. While Kimmy would of liked to interact with someone with the same as she has, Sakura would rather not be associated with her for reasons already listed above. She's not that crazy of a fan, and wouldn't dismiss the idea of Kimmy taking on a hit against Ryu.
* With her surprising amount of skill and continuing off of their commentary for Travis, Howard and Kreese sometimes spectate over Kimmy's hits seeing the potential of her participation in both DeathWatch games should it be reestablished. Kreese is a bit bitter when it comes to her and her "wienie-ass hate sabers", given his experiences with the Masters, Thunder and Sun, engraving their initials in his pancreas with weaponry similar to hers. Plus, there was that one time in the Pantheon that he met her and it ended with one swift GroinAttack using her beam katana. If he had to be honest, it wasn't the worst GroinAttack he endured. That honor goes to Jude the Dude with his spurs. He was still unable to jerk off for a couple days, in that his will was lacking in that time frame, it took way longer to heal of course.
* Now that she's grown up and going under her stage name of Kimmy Love, she holds concerts in the House of Music where performance and bloodshed are commonplace. This has made her rivals with Margaret Moonlight, who was quick to mock her with a song about how she was unable to grow up and move out of her "silly little crush" of Travis.
** On one occasion, Kimmy was told to meet Margaret at an empty building in a moonless night and heard her whistle. Before she even had a chance to whip out her beam katana, she was knocked out...by a cloaked wolf with creepy red eyes and sickles. This was no ordinary assassin though, this was ''Death'' (and he wasn't talking metaphorically, or rhetorically, or poetically, or theoretically, or any other fancy way. This was Death. STRAIGHT UP.) Death barely paid any attention to her before he stabbed her right in the stomach, whistling all the way.
* Can also be found in Pantheon/{{Phrases}}.
* "Yeah, I'm legit! And ''way'' tougher than I look! So, um...don't hold back, 'k? Because one mistake, and you're ''over''. This is for real. Tehehe."''
** ''"Welcome to Kimmy's Palace! This will be your grave, I'll cut off your phallus!"''

* As HeavyMetal beganto branch out to further success and experimentation in the 80s thanks to the acts of Music/BlackSabbath, Music/IronMaiden and Music/JudasPriest, a new subgenre developed in the 1980s; ThrashMetal, meant to push the aggression and technicality of Metal to its absolute limit back in the day. The success of Music/{{Venom}} soon saw the rise of several Thrash scenes from across the world, The most prominent being being the West Coast, California. Metallica and Megadeth were among those bands from the West Coast, with the two since establishing much of the genre's most notable and influential works from the 80s and onward.
** Metallica and Megadeth are connected with one another very personally. Dave Mustaine was initially the lead guitarist of the former, and despite having contributed to much of their material for their debut album ''Kill 'em All'', he was fired from Metallica due to his substance abuse and getting into conflicts with fellow band members James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, literally PutOnABus and replaced by former [[Music/ExodusBand Exodus]] guitarist Kirk Hammett. After working as a telemarker, Mustaine vowed revenge and decided to create his own band as competition: Megadeth.
** Because of the band's personal connection with one another, their fandom also has one of the most passionate relationships with one another, and not in a good way. While they do not deny each other's influence, they're quick to accuse and criticize the other fandom. Megadeth fans will often label Metallica as [[ItsPopularSoItSucks selling out]] and [[TheyChangedItNowItSucks moving away from Thrash to Traditional Metal during the 90s]], despite Megadeth [[{{Hypocrite}} also having changed their sound and style around the same time]]. Not helping matters is how Mustaine, even with the incredible critical and commercial success he ad managed to accumulate, still feels overshadowed by Metallica.
** Overtime however, their enmity has softened up and the two bands have even shared the stage with one another. At the end of the day, both bands have created a massive legacy and they're more content with being amicable with one another. Still doesn't change much of their fandom's perception on their musical style after the 80s.
* Metallica and Megadeth have spent much of their still playing in large tours, developing ideas for a studio album and generally just spending time with their relatives and loved ones. That is, until they received an invitation, signed by Ugo telling them of a new area where they are invited to play in a concert that is much grander than they've experienced. The two bands decided to accept the deal, although they were unaware that the other was also invited. They met up in this new land, surprised to see that the two have been lured into playing with each other again. With their fierce rivalry having [[FriendlyRival softened up]] over the years, Mustaine decided to accept going along with Metallica regardless. Both bands congratulated each other as they ascended into the Pantheon together.
** They played a massive gig in the House of Pantheon/{{Musicality}} compromised of over a thousand fans and guests. They fully enjoyed the experience, though they felt pretty exhausting and took a break. To their dismay however, they had to go through a series of fans who would often send them hate-mail about their neverending complaints the bands have been receiving back in the 90's, much to their dismay.
* They have a very surprising fan from Superman. It turns out that [[https://2.bp.blogspot.com/YBXNXId-ihbt41X76BRLLVvrf6cB3jqrjwsyaKV5avzCsNqDt2N7pHNXKmhBAK4CfLBdXsyYVP2c=s1600 he owns every Metallica album and that his favorite album by them is fittingly enough, ''...And Justice for All'']]. Unbeknownst to Metallica, Superman has attended their concerts as Clark Kent, though he doesn't headbang to make sure his glasses don't fall off.
** Both bands also looked up fondly by Frank Castle, as Mustaine even wrote half of "Holy Wars... The Punishment Due" based on the Punisher. Though unlike Superman, Frank doesn't attend their concerts because he feels as if his presence might scare off several fans and potentially ruining a touring session for them.
* Metallica frontman, James Hetfield would sometimes go to the House of Pantheon/BeastsAndFauna for a hunting session. Naturally, a lot of animals were unhappy about this and demanded that Hetfield be charged for harming animals. Hetfield has since complied, but has openly said that he has no intent in overhunting animals to extinction. His other hobby is taking a trip to the Pantheon/IceAndCold sub-house for snowboarding. He's happy to see that most residents of the sub-house are amicable with him in this regard.
** Kirk is a big fan of the Horror genre and has spent years building up a massive Horror memorabilia in his spare time. He's quickly become friends with Christopher Lee, who turns out, is also a Metalhead. Kirk also got copies of [[https://robbreport.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/kitk-hammett.jpg?w=1000 two]] [[https://static.turbosquid.com/Preview/2014/11/19__02_28_16/KirkHammettFrankenstein1.jpg5deef020-5460-4175-92fd-c1a7bce85d49DefaultHQ.jpg guitars]] to [[Pantheon/ScientistsAndGeniuses Dr. Frankenstein]] and [[Pantheon/ArtificialBeings his monster]]. He's admitted to be being a fan of [[Pantheon/UndeadAndPhasmata Dracula]], [[Pantheon/VillainousAppearances Jason Voorhees]] and [[Pantheon/DreadAndValor Freddy Kruger]] by concept and critical reception. No way in hell would Kirk ever want to [[TooDumbToLive meet the three in person]]. Stephen King himself has also professed to be a fan of HeavyMetal in general, Metallica being one that he enjoys listening to.
** Lars Ulrich can often be seen in the House of Pantheon/{{Sports}} playing tennis, given how he wanted to be professional player back in his childhood before he found another passion in playing music. It turns out his father was a pretty good player back in the day. And he takes some personal time practicing his business skills as Lars happens to be the biggest promoter when it comes to Metallica merchandising.
* Outside of being in Megadeth tours, Mustaine is often seen reading and studying, in addition to looking after his own family and health. His daughter Electra is a {{Country|Music}} artist, which Mustaine is content and proud with, regardless of genre difference. The other Megadeth members are also parents and spend a lot of time with their families as much as Dave does.
* Learning about the Pantheonic ForeverWar, Metallica and Megadeth are interested in the tales and events surrounding said event and try to find any documented works (E.g. films, books, articles, etc) in the hopes that they could write and produce a song out of it. Their most featured character is Melkor, but they've made it clear that they have ''NO'' support for the GodOfEvil in case they want their detractors to shut up about the two somehow having ties to Melkor. Then again, there's several Metal tracks of all genres that feature a CompleteMonster as the focus, so Metallica and Megadeth aren't any different.
** That's not to say all of their works feature villains. The story of Madoka Kaname and Homura Akemi has become one of great interest for the bands. Metallica seems to feature Madoka more prominently whereas Megadeth focuses on Homura. That said, their end material is something that skirts between [[SlidingScaleOfIdealismVsCynicism hope and despair]]. Their songs based on the two magical girls is still under development.
** Given how ThrashMetal tends to cover topics like corruption, war, pollution, severe mental issues and general dark events pretty frequently, Metallica and Megadeth are no strangers when it comes to writing and singing songs about them. It's no wonder the Houses of Pantheon/{{Nature}} and Pantheon/MilitaryAndWarfare are of big interest to them. The Nature Preservers are pretty cordial with the bands for writing songs that address the severity of pollution towards the environment, although they do admit HeavyMetal in general isn't their type of music.
* There was once an instance where the Houkago Tea Time suddenly had their equipment and gear stolen, leaving the Girl Rock band empty handed and unable to prepare for an upcoming tour and gig session. Upon hearing this, Metallica approached Houkago Tea Time and [[PetTheDog donated them a list of equipment and gear to get the girls back to practice]], much to their joy. It turns out that there was an instance where Metallica had their gear stolen at one point, so they understood how Houkago Tea Time must have felt.
** It turned out that the gear's thief was Eliza and Neil Reagan, who wanted to assert their superiority by buying equipment out from a band for their own gain. Metallica and Megadeth were obviously angry at the siblings for such a petty action.
** Received a new fan from Yuri Nakamura, as the band reminds her of Masami Iwasawa regarding their musical passion and talent. Metallica have met Yuri in person and have spoken about Iwasawa for quite some time. Touched by Iwasawa's story, Metallica have taken to seeing her as a good role model and have even written a ballad about her.
* Mustaine has been noted to take frequent visits to the House of Pantheon/MilitaryAndWarfare quite frequently. This is because he is a big fan of Sun Tzu and his book, ''The Art of War''. Mustaine seems to find him very good company and has expressed admiration for his literature work, philosophy and general accomplishments.
* Both bands, but Metallica in particular, have won the approval of H. P. Lovecraft who was pleased to see how his work's legacy has been covered in the Music Industry, with tracks such as "The Call of Ktulu", "The Thing That Should Not Be", "All Nightmare Long" and "Dream No More". Metallica and Megadeth are only two bands in a genre that have professed their interest in the Literature/CthulhuMythos.
* Metallica frequently visits Joe Bonham, the inspiration for "One" (they even added clips of the movie adaptation in the music video). Joe is thankful that they managed to do what he couldn't in life, express the horrors of war, though he admits to prefer not to listen to "One" as it's very uncomfortable to hear direct descriptions of his awful experience losing his limbs and facial features.
* Both bands, but especially Metallica are vehemently opposed to the glorification of drugs. This is because a close friend of the band became addicted to drugs, and later developed AIDS because of it, [[TearJerker which led to his death]]. This was the inspiration of their song, "Master of Puppets". They've made it very clear about opposing those who take pride in the drug industry, especially Risotto Nero (Extra points to having a stand [[ShoutOut with the same name]]) and Diavolo.
** The death of Cliff Burton is still heavy on Metallica's mind; even Mustaine seems to be heavily affected by it. The Megadeth song "In My Darkest Hour", while not really about Cliff was written by Mustaine in response to his death. And even in the Pantheon, Cliff doesn't seem to be around at all, so Metallica is still left grieving for their former bassist, even if they themselves are ascended.
** The worst drug for Metallica is booze, even if for some time they even embraced the nickname "Alcoholica". James Hetfield in particular keeps himself away from the House of Pantheon/{{Alcohol}} at all costs as he drank far too much.
* Metallica do not want to talk about [[DigitalPiracyIsEvil digital piracy]]. Doing so reminds them of their case against Napster, and how the case put in a serious detriment to the band's reputation, especially Lars. This is a fact that Artoire uses to relentlessly mock Metallica about and gloating about how they can't do anything about her. Metallica despise her for mocking them about their case and for representing digital piracy in general.
* Megadeth has mixed feelings in seeing their songs, particularly "Peace Sells", used in Pantheonic rebellions and politics. On one hand, Mustaine and the rest of the band are happy that people enjoy their music, but at the same time, they are worried that someone malicious could get associated with the song, which would potentially sully Megadeth's reputation.
* Metallica has gotten some surprising support from [[Pantheon/FantasticRaces werewolves]], who like their takes on lycanthropy in "Of Wolf and Men" and "Am I Savage?", and [[Pantheon/RuinAndDestruction Skynet]] (if not the [[Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfMachines GUAM]]), who took the MachineWorship lyrics of "Spit Out the Bone" seriously. The band also successfully got ''the'' WhiteDwarfStarlet, [[Pantheon/TheatricPerformers Norma Desmond]], to perform the female parts of their song on the subject, "The Memory Remains".
* Had an incredibly tough time between selecting either Music/JasonNewsted or Music/{{Anthrax}} for their High Priest. Metallica and Megadeth ultimately had to choose the latter as they felt it was more natural they bought along a fellow member of the Thrash Big Four to association. The two have tried to reach contact with Jason, though progress has been slow so far.
* As of now, Metallica is the only band that has toured around all seven continents (Yes, they have played in ''Antarctica''). Currently, Megadeth is thinking about how to make their own plans for also touring Antarctica at some point, but once they finish off their ''Megacruise'' tour, they'll give it a thought.
* Megadeth is currently undergoing a tour via a cruise ship, aptly titled ''Megacruise''. They're currently thinking about bringing it along to the Pantheon, though after learning about beasts such as [[Pantheon/PrehistoricBeasts The Meg]], [[Pantheon/AquaticLife Gyarados]], [[Pantheon/CharacterRoles Moby Dick]] and [[Pantheon/{{Consumption}} Monstro]] also patrolling the Pantheonic seas, they're rather nervous about it. They're also thinking about talking to the Pantheon/CourtOfTheGods about installing security measures in case they hold a Pantheonic ''Megacruise'' in the near-future.
* There is a tendency to associate Hetfield with tables, which is based off a lyrical line "[[MemeticMutation I am the Table!]]", which has since been ridiculed throughout the Metal community. James is actually cool with it. On the other spectrum, Mustaine is often [[MemeticBadass made out]] to be Metallica's [[ArchEnemy eternal nemesis]]. Both bands have a hearty laugh about the subject matter at this point.
* The Beatles approved [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-vWpAfLbTA Metallica's cover of "In My Life"]], and the group is in turn trying to get the Fab Four to just let the mashup group of both, Beatallica, play their music without legal vetoes.
* Metallica became good friends with the wrestler The Undertaker, especially when the Deadman rode his motorcycle to "Now That We're Dead" for his Boneyard Match against AJ Styles.

* Being a fan of something isn't uncommon, but it's put into a different light when someone famous shares the same likes that a normal person does. These wrestlers are unashamed to admit that they are fanboys and they show it off in very creative ways.
** The three came together one fine day when Xavier Woods, seeing Kofi and Big E in a funk, decided that they needed to do something great, something grand, to make special moments. Without anything better to do, they decided to team up. However, the road to becoming so beloved by the fans was difficult as they were originally a gospel choir/Nation of Domination pastiche that didn't pan out. To compensate for this, they played up everything that they did that the fans hated and made them so hilarious that the fans couldn't help but eat it up and cemented a face turn that's lasted for six years. This made them connect with Edge and Christian very well, since they also had a gimmicks of trolling others. The two groups met in the Pantheon and, "For the benefit of flash photography" performed a signature 5-Second Pose.
*** Even if they no longer have their gospel gimmick, they still get along well with the Sister Act nuns to help spread the message of positivity and for everyone to "FEEL...THE POWER!!!" as Big E announces whenever the New Day make their entrance.
* Their entrance was a rather...unique one. One day, various gods found a large box of Booty-Os cereal in front of the entrance to the Pantheon. After knocking it over, the New Day appeared dressed like Saiyan soldiers before Xavier began playing on his trombone. Many gods (particularly the ones from ''Dragon Ball'') had no idea what to think of it, except it was…surreal. Gods are wondering what happened if the New Day ever met up with the Ginya Force.
* Don't be fooled by their looks. These guys are the longest reigning tag team champions in all of WWE and encountered London and Kendrick, who also had a long tag team reign. However, the trio have been weirded out by London's antics [[Wrestling/LuchaUnderground recently]], particularly the one of him murdering people to appease the White Rabbit. They also became nervous when they heard of Kendrick unleashing the legendary '''BURNING HAMMER''' move and rubbed their necks in apprehension.
* The trio were absolutely ecstatic to find the characters they were big fans of, and spent days going to every temple where these gods resided and treated them with pancakes.
** They weren't the first BlackAndNerdy gods to arrive. Steve Urkel and Tucker Foley were glad to find fellow "Blerds" in the Pantheon.
* They somehow have their own cereal, "Booty-Os" and can even promote pancakes like they're the best thing in the world. This made them friends with [[Pantheon/FantasticalBeasts Princess Celestia]] (who makes absolutely delicious pancakes and they're Bronies) and both [[Pantheon/PersonalityPairings Lie Ren and Nora Valkyrie]] (The former who makes delicious pancakes and the latter for eating said pancakes).
** And because of their trolling antics, Princess Celestia offered them full-time membership with the [[Pantheon/GUAGLOLRanger LOL Rangers]] to which they accepted.
* While they are known for their positive attitude, they have made some rivals along the way. The Usos are their biggest rivals, culminating in a ''Hell in the Cell'' match (Kofi had to be locked outside though) that was so epic and off the walls that the two had to stop fighting there before someone was legitimately hurt. The Wyatt Family, though? Well, they're not so keen about Bray wanting to bring about his doom-bringing speeches or the time they [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpBdZzIdrdw brawled in the Wyatt compound]] and are even ''more'' wary after learning what's happened to the Family: from Harper and Rowan becoming the Bludgeon Brothers, Strowman tossing everyone left and right and Bray allying with Matt Hardy (who, they admit, kinda took inspiration from Matt's "Final Deletion" bout in their battle against the Wyatts). They keep their distance from the four, just in case.
*** The group have now been freaking out over Bray Wyatt's return with his show [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHkiVa-FYvo "Firefly Fun House"]] as the idea of Wyatt being infected with positivity is too much even for them...especially when he revealed the ''real'' truth [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Kza7j4aae4 behind his show...]]
*** Despite their animosity, they were quite saddened to learn about Brodie Lee's passing. They joined the remaining Wyatt Family members in solidarity and Xavier played Taps on Francesca.
** And of course, the trio are wary of Matt Hardy. While the trio do agree that he deserves [[AndYouThoughtItWouldFail his seat]] more (as many gods also believed that the New Day would never become as successful as they are now), he might be even ''worse'' than Bray because Matt successfully caused his brother to snap and become "Brother Nero". And then they learned about [[Fanfic/ThroughDarknessAndMirrors that incident with Limbo]]…
** These three can also go toe to toe with ''The Shield''. Everyone screamed "This is awesome!" upon seeing their bout. They also have teased the shipping between Ambrose and Reigns (or "Ambreigns") until Kofi—having no idea what he had just said—decided to take Woods' advice on that PortmanteauCoupleName being the label on Tumblr and those [[SlashFic "Fanfiction sites"]]…[[BrainBleach he soon regretted asking and has learned to shut his mouth on that subject.]]
* Because they are so positive, they get along ''splendidly'' with the House of Happiness. Whenever the three arrive, Pinkie Pie always pulls out all the stops and hosts a party for everyone. It's said to be pretty noisy but full of positivity and energy.
* All of them were shocked to see Bayley destroying Seth Rollins' fiancée Becky Lynch with a steel chair and joining with her best friend Sasha Banks on a dangerous ego trip. They've been consoling her fellow Avatars of Friendship for the time being. That Bayley [[HeroicWannabe still views herself as a positive figure]] as an example of UndyingLoyalty makes things all the more confusing.
* Exclusive to Xavier:
** Xavier likes to show off his skills on the trombone (Francesca 2, as he calls her since Chris Jericho snapped Francesca 1 over his knee and he held a ''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3HNciYpKEk funeral]]'' for said trombone), impressing many ''Final Fantasy'' gods when he recreated the victory theme. He's also figured out how to play the bass.
** While all three of them fit BlackAndNerdy, Xavier tops this by having a ''degree in education psychology'' when he's not spreading positivity. In fact, he got a ''double'' major at the age of ''22'' and had been wrestling just one year after entering High School. This made many gods in the House of Knowledge respect him even more in being an absolute BadassBookworm.
** Has [[WebVideo/UpUpDownDown a gaming channel]] where many wrestlers come to enjoy gaming challenges and he's opened it up to everyone and anyone who wants to join in. Although he does have to point out in a sign not to throw controllers to the ground when upset (pointing out how [[Pantheon/EffectsOfPopularity AJ Styles]] has a problem with keeping his temper).
** Is an ally to Bomberman and whenever he goes to Bomberman's temple, he gains a brand new look to reflect that. He's willing to expand his streaming services to any of Bomberman's tournaments and such.
** Grimaced when he learned that Paige was in the Pantheon, due to a [[HomePornMovie "movie"]] starring the two of them (not to mention her being the General Manager of the PWF). He does feel sorry though that she had to retire due to injuries, but he really doesn't want to be reminded of said "movie".
** Stared in ''awe'' at finding Power Ranger and Super Sentai gods in the Pantheon (As he was once [[PartsUnknown billed]] from Angel Grove and once trained in "Hip Hop Kido") and played the Dragonzord call on Francesca with glee. And then, he learned of the Toku Base…
** Looks at Cody Travers oddly, as Cody's look reminds him of his long-time rival Wrestling/KennyOmega. Cody, for his part, noted that Xavier's voice was familiar somehow, but nevertheless is always ready for a brawl.
** Seeing that one of his wrestling names is based off of Apollo and Adonis Creed, he's gain the attention of [[Pantheon/TheatricNarrative Rocky Balboa]], who has offered to train him. Xavier has declined, stating that he is no longer going under that name.
** Has become the latest King of the Ring, donning a crown and all. He has stated that this has been a dream of his ever since he was a child.
* Exclusive to Big E:
** Is a huge fan of the Equestrian gods, with some gods even leaving him custom made pony figures when the three first arrived. The trio hit off with Mane 6 (with Pinkie Pie being the closest out of them) and all was well until Rainbow Dash foolishly noted that perhaps the [[Pantheon/{{Destinies}} Cutie Mark Crusaders]] would have some other wrestling friends now. This got the three curious and they soon learned from other wrestlers that the adorable fillies loved to LARP in the House of Vampires (don't ask how that happened). [[HilarityEnsues Things got interesting]] when they decided to deck out in ''Final Fantasy'' classes (Xavier the Bard, Kofi the Red Mage and Big E the Samurai) and the LARP when OffTheRails when they decided to "kill-steal" the Crusaders' victory over the dreaded ringmaster "Mr. Heath" (Gangrel). Then it culminated into a six-god tag team match over who would come out victorious with the fight being livestreamed for everyone to see. After an exhausting fight, both sides ended with a draw and they now have become close friends...and now are inviting visitors to join in on their epic campaigns to spread positivity and waking gods from dreams. The Mane 6 could only glare at Rainbow Dash for causing the whole kerfluffle.
** And then more hoofs in mouths were placed after Rarity slipped about the Crusaders' journeys in Limbo. Gods know that asking the three about ''that'' incident would [[ThisIsGonnaSuck end horribly]]. The New Day tried to get the CMC to open up by having them play around of [=CarnEvil=]...and were blown away as the three screamed in absolute fury and mowed down ''the entire game'' cursing up a storm as this thing only reminded the trio of what they could dub the Circus Massacre. They've now made it a mission to help uplift the three in any way possible, which has gotten them the good graces of the Crusaders' "vampire wrestling babysitters" as this trauma has been something the two have been unable to handle. The New Day even [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxkmgbmjKW4 dressed up as The Brood]] to ensure that they have no hard feelings. The Crusaders now hang out with them more.
** With his arrival, gods ''finally'' figured out why Dean Ambrose once wrote "Titty Master" on his wrist tape; it was due to Ambrose constantly fighting Big E during a tour.
** Was happy to find Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee in the Panthron. The three sometimes hang out at Moe's Tavern to catch up on old times. Many gods wonder what type of history Big E and AJ Lee but, just like no one will ever know the true story as to why Gangrel mentored Edge and Christian (as there never was one in the first place), the two have remained tight-lipped on their past.
*** Big E has been disgusted with Dolph's jealousy over Kofi being World Champion and has now severed ties with him.
** Is known for stating [[Memes/{{WWE}} "OH I GOT THE MIC NOW--"]] whenever it's his turn to get an interview.
** In a shocking surprise, The New Day had split up with Kofi and Xavier taking on the name and Big E being a singles wrestler. Big E has no hard feelings for the separation and roots for his fellow New Day brothers when he can.
** After years of grinding, Big E has finally achieved his dream of becoming the WWE Champion. While his mates Kofi and Xavier can't watch his back, he knows he has their support in spirit.
* Exclusive to Kofi:
** Trying to eliminate Kofi from a battle royal is like trying to figure out who Archie Andrews will end up with in the future; every time he's thrown over the top rope, he'll ''always'' figure out a way to survive. From walking backwards on his hands, hopping on a chair, somehow surviving by the tip of his toes, [[ItMakesSenseInContext being carried back in by a bunch of party-goers]], or even having his partners put a foot on a plate of pancakces then leap-frog him over the top ropes, gods better be prepared when it comes to a Battle Royal whenever he's involved.
** Would really like to not remember that longtime phase where he paid tribute to the Jamaican culture complete with a stereotypical accent. Although, ironically, Big E is the one with the Jamaican heritage. He's had to tell the various Street Fighter gods that he's not related to Deejay at all (as he hails from Ghana). This makes him a good friend to Elena (who hails from Kenya) since he's also a capoeira user like she is.
*** Or the fact that his theme is about committing murder. When Deadpool pointed this out, Kofi gave Deadpool some Trouble in Paradise.
** Is good friends with [[Pantheon/{{Mentalities}} Mystery Inc.]] since he provided commentary during [[WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooAndTheWWECurseOfTheSpeedDemon the Moto X race]].
** Was happy to find CM Punk in the House of Philosophy since they traveled together on the road, to the point that Kofi was considered Punk's "Road Wife".
** Don't let his energetic fun-loving personality fool you; he's hold ''16'' championships and has made rivals with various wrestlers from Randy Orton to Daniel Bryan, Orton being his ArchEnemy in this case.
** Geeked out at all the ''Punch-Out!'' gods and asked Little Mac for a pink tracksuit of his own. Little Mac complied and the two can be seen racing across the House of Sports.
** Kofi surprised '''everyone''' by entering a gauntlet match and not only defeating several well-known top wrestlers (including Jeff Hardy and ''PWF Champion Daniel Bryan''), but also going through an entire hour of fighting before going toe-to-toe with AJ Styles, tearing the roof off of the PWF before he was ultimately defeated. His Elimination Chamber run as the last man standing against Daniel Bryan before finally going down again made him a force to be reckoned with. Xavier and Big E are ultimately rooting for Kofi to get a Championship run at ''Wrestlemania'' and they are now spreading the word out the only way they can, even going as far as participating in a tag-team gauntlet match to ''ensure'' Kofi is going to Wrestlemania. And when he finally won the PWF Championship, the House of Celebration threw together a huge [=KofiMania=] party.

* Unwittingly annoys: [[Pantheon/{{Toxicity}} Hexxus]], [[Pantheon/FantasticRaces Hedorah]], [[Pantheon/SelfHatred Judge Doom]], [[Pantheon/{{Duos}} Maxie & Archie]]
* As a species, Platypet shares a recent common ancestor with Saipat, and is found on two islands of the Airborne Archipelago: the Mediterranean Deniz, and the barren wasteland Tucma. Being a Water and Toxic type, it is well-adapted to both. It's the star of a [[ShowWithinAShow cartoon series]] that teaches kids that Toxic-types can be good friends, too. It evolves into Platox, which evolves into Platimous, which don't change much besides getting bigger and meaner-looking. The line are among the most successful apex predators in the Archipelago, and they're effective special attackers in the hands of Tamers.
* This particular Platypet originates from the Xolot Reservoir in Tucma. He's carefree, lives in the moment, and doesn't have a resentful bone in his body. His SignatureMove is Cheer Up; in battle, it allows the target to use certain techniques one turn earlier than usual, but it also makes him a great cheerleader. He's not very smart, but that just makes him cuter.
* He nonchalantly wandered into the House of Popularity by mistake, probably because he became fixated on the star-patterned walls. Initially the gods tried to shoo away the intruder, but then [[Pantheon/NarrativeGenresNToZ Haruhi Suzumiya]] realised that he had an interesting metafictional history -- he was originally a fan-made Pokémon design, but was submitted to ''Temtem'' by a Kickstarter backer -- and offered to make him a god. Platypet didn't understand what that meant, but accepted anyway.
* Despite being in one of the flashiest houses in the Pantheon, Platypet's temple is rather unassuming. It's a small cave filled with salt blocks and coral from Deniz and faintly-glowing crystals from Tucma, with a pool of water in the middle. There's barely enough room for an adult human of average height to stand up in it. Oshawott and Popplio are frequent visitors, and they all like to play in the pool together.
* While he technically belongs to the House of Popularity, he's more often seen in the House of Beasts and Fauna, usually chilling in ponds near temples. He also visits the Hall of Water and Moisture a lot; while he prefers to stick to the shallows, he's more than capable of defending himself from the monsters lurking in the deep. He keeps well away from Lagiacrus, though.
* Pikachu was wary of Platypet at first, thinking that Temtem were encroaching upon Pokémon's territory, but the other Pokémon convinced him that they could co-exist. Meanwhile, Platypet is scared of Pikachu because electricity is one of his elemental weaknesses. Platypet struck up an OddFriendship with the similarly-typed Qwilfish, and respects most Poison and Water Pokémon.
* He also gets along with other monotremes such as Perry and Knuckles; other good or neutral {{Mons}} such as the similarly-carefree piñatas and most Digimon (except [=HerkuleKabuterimon=]); and the Octonauts because they've helped platypi in the past. Steve Irwin respects all creatures in the Pantheon, and he reminds Misty of her Psyduck. Phineas and Ferb built an elaborate playground with water slides for him and Perry; Platypet knows Perry is a secret agent, but he won't tell anyone, because he can't talk. Oshawott and Popplio frequently visit it as well. The Warners occasionally drag Platypet into their shenanigans under the mistaken belief that he's an AnimatedActor like them, but he doesn't mind.
* Within the Hall of Fanbase, he's scared of 9-Volt and 18-Volt because he thinks they have electric powers, but they think he's adorable. Platypet also keeps well away from the Hall of Enemies for two reasons: Slimes fear him because he looks similar to their rivals, the Platypunks; and he's scared of the Zubat and Golbat colony because he's weak to Wind, which is similar to Flying. Also, Fairy-type Pokémon fear him because he's the equivalent of a Poison-type, and isn't weak to the Psychic moves most of them learn; Grass-types less so, because he takes neutral damage from GreenThumb attacks.
* Being so carefree, Platypet has few outright enemies. Pokémon Hunter J is interested in targeting anything Pokémon-like, so he's fought against her a few times. Being a Toxic-type who thrives in the acidic waters of Tucma, where the air is thick with volcanic ash, he completely {{No Sell}}s Hexxus and Hedorah's pollution. This baffles them, especially because Platypet is still intimidated by their sizes. Judge Doom hates the fact that the Platypet species is the star of a cartoon, even though this Platypet has nothing to do with it. Maxie and Archie were horrified when they learned about Tucma because its environment reminds them of how badly their plans could've gone if they'd succeeded, but Platypet doesn't know what raising or lowering the sea level on a round planet ''means''.

* Pities: [[Pantheon/TaintedLove Makoto Itou]].
* Sakura Kasugano used to be just a regular high schooler, until one day she witnessed Ryu fighting and impressed by his skills, she decide to copy him. That's the exact reason why she made her way to the Pantheon and get a chance to see Ryu again. Was a bit sad that she couldn't have a seat in the House of Combat or Power, but after finding out there were still other people who could fight, she decided to give it a try.
* Originally she used to have a [[CostumeInertia certain title]] given that she kept using her school uniform even after graduating, but later she moved houses after she ditched it. Since her fanatism for Ryu is a big part of her motivation, she was given the {{Fangirl}} title instead. It doesn't mean she doesn't use her old uniform anymore, she still does use it from time to time.
* Despite her being total fan of Ryu, many were shocked when they found out that she was once a fan of E. Honda, and how she originally was going to frequent the House of Pantheon/{{Food}} to gain weight.
** Upon learning the legend of "Hot Ryu", she went to go see it for herself. End results? She downright ''fainted'' upon seeing Ryu without a shirt, MessyHair and a beard.
* Even though she graduated from school a while ago Sakura still has some contact with a few deities who still attend school. Sometimes she wanders around the House of Pantheon/{{School}} to see how things are done there and also to see if anyone is causing any trouble.
* She is good friends with Natsu Ayuhara and has even [[Videogame/RivalSchools shown up as a contender near her school]]. Likewise, she is also friends with Batsu by virtue of being good friends with Hinata Wakaba.
* Went on a trip to uncover [[VideoGame/StreetFighterXTekken the legendary Pandora's Box with Blanka]], not out of any wish to gain power or money, but to figure out the whereabouts of Dan. Was glad that the box answered her wish to see him safe and sound (although a bit bloody and beaten up). And with Dan in the Pantheon, she continues her training with him (much to everyone's confusion, considering how skilled she is compared to him).
* Some are surprised how strong she is by just mimicking Ryu's fighting style without receiving formal training. She says that if you are determined enough, you can do it as well.
* She is friends with both Shingo Yabuki and Kamala Khan given they all worshipped a hero who inspired them and then later became heroes in their own right. Sakura was a little bummed out that she didn't get the position HeroWorshipper but she doesn't hold any hard feelings for Shingo.
* Surprisingly made friends with 9-volt and 18-volt, probably because they happen to share a similar position as her. She happens to be closer with 9-volt because she reminds her of her little brother Tsukushi who spends all the time playing videogames.
* Yuri Sakazaki at first didn't take kindly to Sakura, considering her kind of a copycat to her fighting style. However, after a sparring session, they ended up becoming friendly rivals given they were both comparatively skilled with their similar styles. That said, she finds it funny that Sakura's teacher Dan is a parody of her brother and Robert.
* Made friends with Miyu Edelfelt after confusing her for a recolored Cammy from behind at one point before Cammy was ascended. When she admitted her mistake to Chun-Li, the detective finally invited Cammy to the Pantheon and got her approved by the Court of the Gods, bringing Cammy in.
* She is not related to [[Pantheon/{{Twins}} Sora and Haruka Kasugano]].
* Currenlty, she works part-time in the arcade station of the House of Pantheon/{{Gaming}}. It does help she likes videogames, except when her younger brother Tsukushi is around since he always wins all the time.
* Was in a funk for a while, wondering what she was planning to do with her life after questioning the idea of just traveling and fighting others. It took the combined help of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Karin and Ryu to help her figure out what she wants: to raise a family. Of course, this became much more hilarious when she stated this ''in front of Ryu'' himself but all of them agree that it's a nice goal to have.
* ''"Pleased to meet you!"''

* Conflicting Opinion: [[Pantheon/FamilyDynamics Mana Ouma]]
* Shizuku Kurogane is a talented Blazer from the Kurogane clan and also Ikki's little sister. She is about the only person in her family that actually cared about Ikki and didn't shun him in any way, so when Ikki decided to run away from home she started to develop a hatred for humans because of her brother's poor treatment. When she ascended, Shizuku quickly gave her brother a big hug and almost kissed him in the lips, but didn't do so because Stella was also present. Nevertheless, both are very glad she finally found a place to stay.
* It's no secret that [[BigBrotherAttraction she is attracted to Ikki]], her infamous [[EstablishingCharacterMoment moment when she kissed her brother after reuniting with him]] is often brought up when people talk about her. But the reason for her love goes a little deeper. Shizuku wants to make up for her family's abuse of Ikki and wants to give him the love he was denied all those years ago.
* Surprised to see StudentCouncilPresident Tohka Todo ascended. She doesn't hold hard feelings after their battle and respect each other's fighting techniques.
* Her magic is water and ice based, and since the pantheon has a number of deities with impressive control over those elements Shizuku was interested in learning a few trick from them. She has trained new ice attacks from Elsa, new fighting techniques with Yoshigure thanks to the help of Sub-Zero and even a few new tricks with water attacks by Percy Jackson. She also likes to visit the House of Pantheon/MagicAndSorcery from time to time, where he happened to meet Jaina Proudmoore who shares similar magic powers as her.
* She has little to no respect for those who have either abused children or their family, especially when it comes to the Child Abuse Supporters. The reason for this is that, while she wasn't treated unfairly herself, her family's abuse of Ikki has caused her to see other people as nothing but heartless monsters and she still thinks that it still applies to said group.
* Speaking about her magic and her relationship with Stella, they are actually friends believe it or not, even if it took a while for their friendship to gain traction but [[VitriolicBestBuds their bickering is still ever present]]. Their respective magics are also [[PlayingWithFire complete]] [[MakingASplash opposites]], which added to their rivalry.
** That said, she has noticed that there are certain people similar to Stella in terms of attitude and magic. The two that stuck with her the most where Shana and Kotori Itsuka. With Shana because she wanted to know if she was a strong as Stella claimed while with Kotori is mostly both being {{Little Sister Heroine}}s and also their contrasting personalities.
* She got to meet both Ayato Amagiri and Kirin Todou thanks to her brother introducing them to her. They both quickly noticed that Shizuku has a lot in common with Saya and wonder how would both react to the other if they happened to meet in person.
* One would think that both Shizuku and Belarus would get along given shared [[BigBrotherAttraction tra]][[{{Yandere}} its]] and [[ElegantGothicLolita hobbies]], but Shizuku doesn't think highly of her. One reason would be that Shizuku eventually grew those out, even if she still loves her brother while Belarus did not, not to mention that Belarus enraged after feeling insulted tried to attack Shizuku only to be frozen in place by her magic. Needless to say, the two don't like the other at all.
** The same can be said about Hansel and Gretel, who in turn were convinced by Belarus, who happens to be friends with them, to harass Shizuku for daring to insult her. Of course, the twins are nothing she can't deal with herself, but their constant attempts at murdering her gets a little tiresome after a while.
* Her title used to belong to Hinata Hyuga before she was relocated to another temple. Shizuku curious went to visit her and ask her some question about her former title. She managed to learn that she also supported a loved one while others overlooked him and coincidentally enough Naruto, Hinata's husband, also is a FanOfUnderdog of Rock Lee.
* Strangely enough, the one she was sympathetic the most of all deities was the Kasugano Twins, who also share the same incestual feelings as her. She is somewhat jealous that they got together in the end but nonetheless, Ikki's happiness comes first before her own and stays good friends with Haruka and Sora. She also feels some sympathy for Mana Ouma by being rejected but the whole business surrounding the Apocalypse Virus and a conspiracy has made Shizuku think twice before becoming friends with Mana, not to mention her being friends with Belarus.
* Can also be found in Pantheon/{{Passion}}.

* SitcomArchnemesis: [[Pantheon/{{Monarchs}} The Queen of Hearts]]
* The woman infamous for her kidnapping of the author Paul Sheldon to force him to write the novel ''Misery's Return'', Annie Wilkes's spirit was aimlessly haunting the mortal world until she discovered the Pantheon, and was brought in front of the Council. After concluding that she is one of the best (read: scariest) representations of the LoonyFan trope for the lengths she would go to make Paul write a ''book'', Annie was ascended into the Pantheon.
* Despite [[AxCrazy Annie's frightening similarity]] to many Yanderes in the Pantheon, she isn't well-liked even by them because she kills babies, which goes against the goals of many Yanderes, since they may want to have kids with the object of their obsession.
* Every single ascended creator is dead terrified of Annie, because of the measures she took to get Paul to fix an ending she didn't like. Security around their temples increased tenfold, for fear that she finds the same fault in their works. This even includes Stephen King himself, given it's his fault that Annie ended up dead in her book to begin with.
** Perhaps the one person who hates Annie the most is John Lennon, who actually got shot and killed because of a crazy obsessive fan. People tend to not bring up her name around him. Fellow former Beatle George Harrison is also terrifed to be around her since a crazed fan intruded in his residence and stabbed him in the chest. Even thought he survived that ordeal, it is still advisable to not bring up her name when people meet him.
* Parents in the Pantheon protested Annie's ascension in front of her temple because of the fact that she murders healthy infants. Seeing this, Annie yelled at them for being "cockadoodle" for protecting those "dirty birdies", took her sledgehammer and broke up the protest.
** The parents involved have formed a group led by Flora, Fauna and Merryweather in order to keep her from murdering any babies in the Pantheon.
* People with nasty experiences with Annie’s followers hate her guts. The list include the Parr family, [[Pantheon/{{Costumes}} Frank Castle]] and [[Pantheon/{{Heroism}} Commander Shepard]]. The Parr family especially hates her because Syndrome actually did try to kill them like Annie tried to kill Paul.
* Harley Quinn, especially her comic persona, has complicated feelings about Annie. Annie's temple represents her attitude towards the Joker, which is something Harley herself is trying to break out of.
* She has a soft spot for her pet pigs, and even named one of them after Misery Chastain. Unfortunately for her, every pig in the Pantheon avoids her because of her insanity. Except Napoleon, who avoids her because he hates humans in general.
* She has a ridiculous rivalry with the Queen of Hearts because the two of them [[Creator/KathyBates sometimes look the same]]. Even people dead terrified of them agree that the results are [[HamToHamCombat glorious and entertaining to watch]].
* Jack, Rose and Cal were disappointed when they [[Creator/KathyBates mistook her]] for one of the survivors of the Titanic, Molly Brown. The three were disgusted when the learned about her actions.
* Seth Rollins and Robert Baratheon are dead terrified of Annie because she used a sledgehammer to [[spoiler:[[AgonyOfTheFeet crush Paul's ankle]]]]. Lie Ren is on a whole other level, as he also fears that if Nora meets Annie, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yHgi_dGxCO8?t=85s it won't end well for him]].
* The fact that she murdered babies and claimed to do so because of God's judgement tends to not sit well with other Christians in the Pantheon. Even most evil or neutral-aligned ones draw the line at killing babies and join in to disown any association with her. The only Christian deranged enough to accept Annie is Judge Claude Frollo, for their shared deeds of murdering infants and obsessive love.
* Hates the House of Investigative Work with a passion because of her experience with a sheriff that almost foiled her "new novel". The fact that she is a serial killer and stalker doesn't endear her to the house either.
** Richard Castle especially despises her given that he is both a writer, a father ''and'' an investigator.
* Can be seen lurking around the House of Knowledge after learning that [[spoiler:Paul's novel counterpart actually ''did'' publish ''Misery's Return'' as a separate novel after his escape]]. Worrying that Annie might find something new to obsess about or injure the people there if she got frustrated, the House banned her from entering. But that never stopped her from trying.
* Because of her horrible treatment of Paul and the infants under her care, the House of Health and Disease hates and refuses to employ her. However, those actions endeared her to [[Pantheon/{{Physicians}} Valentine]], and the nurse offered Annie a job at Lab Zero.
* Also present in the House of Pantheon/InsaneBehavior.

* Pities: [[Pantheon/JealousyAndEnvy Mimikyu]], [[Pantheon/TheatricPerformers Krusty the Clown]]
* There's always something thrilling about the idea of [[PromotedFanboy becoming part of the franchise you grew up loving]], and one David John [=McDonald=] knows that feeling. He got into acting in the first place because of his love of ''Series/DoctorWho'', and ended up becoming the actor for [[Characters/DoctorWhoTenthDoctor the 10th Doctor]]. He ended up becoming as iconic to the new series as Creator/TomBaker was to the classic series, and even became the son-in-law to [[Creator/PeterDavison the actor of]] [[Characters/DoctorWhoFifthDoctor his favorite incarnation]]. Big fan of other works like Marvel, and he's also had work in that franchise, among other series he was fond of.
* Goes by David Tennant for his screen name [[OneSteveLimit as McDonald was taken]], and is generally referred to as such in the pantheon. As the name suggests, he is a proud Scot. Along with serving as one of Scrooge's voice actors, this Scottish heritage lets them get along. Particularly as he genuinely admires Scrooge's SelfMadeMan status. Another Scott, Groundskeeper Willie, tends to get on his nerves instead.
* Tennant is on good terms with Ultraman Zero due to him being a SuperiorSuccessor, reflecting in a way Tennant overtaking his own favorite Doctor in the public consciousness. He's affable with 9-volt and 18-volt along with [[AscendedFanboy similarly-troped Ruysei Date]], [[{{Fanboy}} given their passion about fandom]]. Sometimes you can hear him try to out-snark Crowly, who he portrayed.
* Meeting the actual Doctor was a dream come true and much [[{{Squee}} squeeing]] from David Tennant occurred. Unfortunately the Daleks thought that he was somehow the 10th Doctor under the Chameleon Arch, and tried to EX-TER-MIN-ATE! him[[note]][[AbsoluteXenophobe though they just needed an excuse to get their gun off]][[/note]]. Fortunately the 9th and 11th Doctors bailed him out. The 11th Doctor swears [[IdenticalGrandson he's a descendant]] of [[Series/{{Casanova}} Casanova]]. The other Doctors [[TheCasanova wouldn't be surprised if they're related somehow]].
** Being passionate about ''Series/DoctorWho'', some feel "I don't want to go" was as much Tennant as the 10th Doctor. The fanboying of the 5th Doctor, however, was '''definitely''' him and he is shameless about it.
* [[CastIncest Technically his own son-in-law, and his wife portrayed the 10th Doctor's daughter]]. Unlike Fry, this fortunately never gets into MyOwnGrampa territory. That being said, he and Fry are on good terms given their passion for their fandoms, Fry [[KindheartedSimpleton being a sweet-heart even if he's dumb]], and Tennant being impressed at how [[Recap/FuturamaS4E11WhereNoFanHasGoneBefore he and the Planet Express team saved the original Star Trek crew]]. As with all 20th-21st century celebrities in the ''WesternAnimation/{{Futurama}}'' universe, his head in a jar was present and had an adventure with Fry [[MyFutureSelfAndMe and his 21st century self]]. [[TimeyWimeyBall It felt like a Doctor Who episode to say the least]].
* Being the passionate fanboy he is, David Tennant is horrified to learn what Superboy-Prime [[FallenHero became]] and became an enemy to the whole DC Universe. [[FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse While he pities his situation of the Crisis, he won't forgive what he did]]. He doesn't share ''any'' sympathy for Tennant Annie Wilkes, however. She's not just [[LoonyFan an utterly deranged fan]], but a SerialKiller without a hint of a FreudianExcuse.
* While Tennant may not like Prime, the mad Kryptonian is somewhat [[FriendlyEnemy amiable]] towards him even if he is [[GreenEyedMonster envious at him being a successful fanboy]]. [[spoiler:The two are currently willing to bury the hatchet [[ComicBook/DarkNightsDeathMetal follwing Prime's redemption]] and second chance at being a hero. Tennant is trying to make sure he doesn't fall into ChronicVillainy and it sticks.]]
* [[PlayingAgainstType Not one for playing dark]], but when he does he does it well. Asides from [[BewareTheNiceOnes the 10th Doctor's righteous fury]], he played [[AdaptationalJerkass an even more villainous]] [[Literature/HarryPotter Barty Crouch Jr]]. The senior Barty doesn't trust him because of this. His darkest role was probably the Purple Man, with his natural charm [[FauxAffablyEvil making him even creepier]]. And given what a psychopath Killgrave is, David Tennant really, ''really'' doesn't want to get anywhere near the real deal.
* Doesn't like Sideshow Bob, who is in many ways his opposite; he became an actor in a job very unsuited for him, and his resentment led to frame Krusty for robbery. And late become an attempted murderer on multiple occasions, [[WouldHurtAChild mainly Bart]]. He does get why he wouldn't like Krusty, but David Tennant also pities the clown somewhat for how jaded and cynical he's become with his job. He also pities Mimikyu for forever envying a more popular Pokemon.
* Spends time in the Pantheon/{{Felines}} sub-house petting kittens because they're adorable. On a more amusing note he's fond of farting contests. Hilariously he's been putting this [[{{Fartillery}} to practical use]] with help of the New Kid. Also, if none of his performances tip you off, [[LargeHam man's a massive ham]].

* Conflicting Opinion: [[Pantheon/{{Gameplay}} Akihiko Kayaba]]
* In 2045, society is on the brink of collapse due to a long-running energy crisis. The reclusive teenager Wade Watts lived in poverty with an abusive aunt as his guardian. Wade took comfort in escapist media and a vast MMORPG/social network hybrid called the OASIS. When the OASIS' creator, James Halliday, died, he left a will stating that whoever found three easter eggs hidden inside the game would get full ownership rights to his magnum opus. Given the OASIS is not only massively popular but also keeps society afloat by providing essential services such as free education and medical care, many were eager to take control of it, for better or worse. Those devoted to the search for the easter eggs called themselves "gunters" and meticulously researched Halliday's life for clues, leading to a renewed interest in 1980s media, but it was years before any progress was made. Then Wade acquired the first easter egg before anyone else. He became a wealthy celebrity overnight, but also a target for the multinational corporation IOI, which had its sights set on acquiring and monetizing the OASIS and made use of very unscrupulous methods to achieve its goals, including assassination. Wade and his best friend Aech teamed up with fellow gunters [=Art3mis=], Daito and Shoto, naming themselves the High Five and combining their knowledge of Halliday's life and favorite media to get ahead in the easter egg hunt. After a long, perilous search and an epic battle with IOI's forces, Wade gained ownership of the OASIS, which he split with his companions.
** [[Literature/ReadyPlayerTwo Shortly afterwards]], Wade discovered Halliday's last, unreleased creation: the [[InsideAComputerSystem OASIS Neural Interface]]. Against [=Art3mis=]' protests, it was released to the public and proved to be a huge success in sales. A few years passed and the High Five drifted away from each other as they pursued their respective interests, when suddenly a new riddle about "Seven Shards" and a "Siren's Soul" appeared. Wade spared no expense in trying to find them, but had little success. Then during an online business meeting between the High Five, a corrupt AI copy of James Halliday's conscience stole the High Five's admin powers and prevented anyone wearing an ONI headset from logging out until he was given the Siren's Soul, which was a copy of Kira Underwood, a childhood friend and crush of Halliday's who married his best friend Ogden Morrow. The High Five reluctantly went along with AI Halliday's demands, as being logged in with a ONI headset for more than 12 hours is highly dangerous and there were billions of lives at stake. Despite the pressure, the High Five acquired the Seven Shards (a quest which once again relied on in-depth knowledge of 1980s media) and reassembled Kira's conscience out of them; the corrupted Halliday's eventual defeat was largely thanks to the efforts of Ogden Morrow himself and a group of users calling themselves the [=L0w=] Five. Once the crisis was over, Wade decided to embrace real life and rekindle his relationship with [=Art3mis=], with whom he had a child.
* The OASIS saw itself under attack by the virus Love Machine, who did its thing where it consumes people's avatars, a very bad thing considering so many OASIS users tie their entire lives, even on the professional and financial levels, to their accounts. As catastrophic as Love Machine could potentially be to the thing that had become the backbone of their world, the High Five knew exactly what the virus was due to their vast knowledge of media and thus knew how to deal with it, so by the time the [[Pantheon/MonsterBehavior Royal Knights]] arrived to being Love Machine back home to the Pantheon, the crisis was over; seeing as those five kids did it all on their own, the Knights decided to invite them to the Pantheon. The High Five's squeeing over the presence of some of the most famous Digimon was nothing compared to them finding out the Pantheon was a smorgasbord of everything a nerd could possibly like, and on top of that all the famous characters they know and love are the real deal in the Pantheon, as opposed to being AI renditions with a limited set of actions. Eventually they sobered up and realized the implications of a place where all manner of beings, some of them evil and astronomically powerful, convened, and the danger those beings could pose to their world, which was already severely afflicted. So when the Main House offered them a position, it was a no-brainer that the High Five would take it, not only to hang out with their favorite characters, but to protect their world from any further threats.
* With the High Five's ascension, the OASIS was naturally made available in the Pantheon as well, although with the proliferation of extremely advanced games and the fact that there's already a plethora of ways to travel inside a computer that have been known for a much longer time, perhaps the state-of-the-art MMORPG/social media hybrid isn't as impressive as it is in its world of origin. It's mostly other gaming/computing deities who express interest in it, leading the High Five to make friends with Kirito and Asuna, two of the most famous MMORPG players. Of course, the High Five already knew of them before ascending, even having compared the time they were held hostage by the corrupt AI of Halliday to how Kirito and Asuna were trapped inside ''Sword Art Online'' for years, under pain of dying in real life should they die in the game. Even outside of that extreme scenario, games are so important to both the High Five and Kirito and Asuna that they could easily bond over everything life-changing that's happened to them in the virtual world.
** The High Five see Akihiko Kayaba as a rather conflicting figure, because him rigging ''Sword Art Online'' the way he did was undoubtedly disgusting, but then again he was also an honorable figure who did make his death game beatable, and after his death and uploading his conscience to the web he's been known to help Kirito and Asuna against much viler villains. Kayaba could even be seen as akin to James Halliday, since they were both visionary game creators, but also his opposite, as Halliday was benign in life and became villainous after his death, with his AI copy ironically instigating a ''SAO''-like death game for anyone with an ONI headset. Incidentally, the fact that the High Five managed to complete that death game within the alotted 12 hours before their minds fried impressed Kayaba a lot, especially considering the size of the OASIS and how his own ''SAO'' didn't have a time limit and in fact took years to complete and release any of its prisoners. The High Five certainly have Kayaba's respect; they're not sure that's something to be proud of, but it's useful to have one more ally of sorts, or so they suppose.
** Oh, and about the viler villains Kayaba has helped against? One of them is Nobuyuki Sugou and you can bet the High Five despise the hell out of the guy, and he gives ample reason to, between attempting to rape Asuna and force her into marriage, and his generally contemptible behavior. They would liken him to Nolan Sorrento for being similarly unscrupulous in his decisions regarding a MMORPG, but even Sorrento doesn't come close to being as slimy as Sugou; Sorrento may have been a murderer, but he never did something like the aforementioned crimes against Asuna, nor did he trap 300 players in comatose states to run painful tests on them, and he certainly didn't throw a screeching tantrum like Sugou did when everything went pear-shaped for him. Compared to Sugou, the High Five think Sorrento almost seems noble, which is rather frightening to think about for them.
* Since the High Five own the OASIS, it's their responsibility to arrange events to promote their platform. An obvious candidate to help promote the OASIS is Suzu Naito, who, under the pseudonym of Belle, has become a hugely famous singer throughout the web. She can relate to them for a myriad of reasons, be it difficult home lives (with Wade's in particular reminding her of Kei, since they were both abused by their guardians), or how their insecurity about their personal appearances led to them hiding behind more conventionally attractive avatars, although, much like with her, they gained the confidence to be themselves online as well as off. With all that in mind, she's happy to help them promote the OASIS by setting up concerts there, knowing how much these online platforms can help people find the help they need, even if it's just an understanding ear (after all, Kei might not have found her without those platforms and would have remained in an unbearable situation for who knows how long).
* While the corrupt AI copy of James Halliday proved to be a giant problem, the High Five know properly made AI copies of decent people are nothing to be feared and rather should be admired for their autonomous behavior. This is why they could sympathize with Lea, an Evotar (which is just a fancy synonym of AI copy), who felt a lot of anguish at learning of the fact that she was a clone of someone else and was programmed into life. Given her very emotional reaction to learning of her origins might as well make her human, the High Five respect her wishes to be seen as a valid person in her own right and treat her as a valuable friend.
* As hooked up to online platforms as the High Five are and fully acknowledging that they use them for escapism from their world's dire situation, the High Five do see the Matrix as a nightmarish scenario, given humans ultimately serve as batteries for the ruling machines while being none the wiser about it while believing they are living completely normal lives. Knowing that, they want Agent Smith and any of his cohorts to stay well away from their OASIS, as the last thing they want is for their world's haven to be brought under the thumb of the machines. Thankfully, Neo is also around to keep Smith at bay and make sure he doesn't harass the High Five, who have more than enough to concern themselves with in their world. However, Neo can be a bit opinionated about how highly the High Five regard their simulated reality; the High Five agree he has something of a point, since the real world has issues that impact everyone and can't be ignored, but still, it's okay to escape once in a while when things get to be too much and they need to mentally recharge. Neo supposes he can see where they're coming from.
** Masami Eiri is someone with similar plans as the Matrix' machines, his goal being to subsume humanity to the Wired, crowning himself god of everything in the process. He rather feels like the High Five's world's reliance on the OASIS makes it very close to what he ultimately wants. Needless to say, the High Five don't want to see this madman have his way; fortunately, Lain Iwakura agrees with them and seem willing to help, even if the High Five find her to be a mysterious and eerie figure with godlike power and whose personality seems to change on a whim. At the very least, Wade has some sympathy for her since they were both social outcasts.
* None of the High Five will deny that they were extraordinarily lucky to be the ones to solve Halliday's riddles, find the easter eggs and inherit his company. This can be easily compared to how Charlie Bucket was lucky enough to not only be the recipient of one of the five golden tickets, but go on to be the only one to inherit Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. And all this happened to Charlie despite coming from extreme poverty, with little chance of ever improving his lot otherwise; Wade and Aech in particular were also impoverished, so they could relate a lot to Charlie. Not to mention, all those riches could have ended up in the hands of some very undesirable competition; for the High Five, their opponents were the IOI, while for Charlie, it was four spoiled and bratty kids, who maybe wouldn't pose the same level of danger as a viciously capitalist conglomerate in normal circumstances, but given they were poised to potentially inherit one of the biggest businesses in the world, the consequences might have been terrible all the same. Anyway, while the High Five get along very well with Charlie, they have fun ribbing each other over which of the four brats they are equivalent to.
* The High Five's respective tastes in media overlap with each other more often than not, but even so each can be said to be specialized in a certain subject. Wade is the best at video games and boasts an enormous collection of comic books left to him by his father (who's also the reason Wade has an alliterative name, like a comic book character); Aech knows the most about African-American media and is a fan of Music/{{Prince}}; [=Art3mis=] is the biggest movie buff and loves Creator/JohnHughes in particular; Daito and Shoto became close out of a shared love of samurai movies. This has led to them getting into contact with some deities originating from the respective media.
** Aech feels pretty proud of the presence of Black Panther, one of the foremost African-American superheroes, and Coffy, one of the first characters to pioneer badass action girls, regardless of skin color. [=Art3mis=] was quite eager to befriend the ascended characters of John Hughes movies, and also works towards getting more ascended (not just from Hughes movies but movies in general; she's not one-track-minded). The Breakfast Club in particular could relate to how a bunch of teens from varied origins and often difficult circumstances such as the High Five could come together due to having something in common, as well as find comfort in each other. The ever gregarious Ferris Bueller was also easy to make friends with and was very interested in learning the strides that computing had taken by 2045, given he's been known to hack into computers when needed; he's also rather happy to know he's got still got such big fans that far into the future and has told [=Art3mis=] that she and her friends can ask his help whenever they might need it. And [=Art3mis=] is all to excited to learn Kevin's HomeAloneAntics first-hand, in hopes of applying them to help the High Five in their adventures. Daito and Shoto's passion for old samurai movies led to them respectfully saluting the Seven Samurai, Sanjuro and Hanshiro Tsugumo in their respective temples.
* Wade is perhaps the most introverted of the High Five, making him not too amenable to making friends on his own, but he has managed at least one in David Lightman, rather appropriately as, thanks to one of the OASIS' features, he has gone through the entire ''Film/WarGames'' movie from David's perspective (admittedly this creeped out David slightly when he heard of it, but he's gotten over it after having it carefully explained to him and making it clear it wasn't an invasion of his private life). Not only that, but David is as enthusiastic about computing and videogaming as Wade is, so they spend a lot of their time together engaging in those activities and conversation between them is easy enough. Wade's fascination with video games, especially old-timey ones, also led Wade to befriend 9-Volt and 18-Volt, who are themselves intensely dedicated gamers and whose favorite games are classic Nintendo games in particular; Wade always likes to visit them for a match in said games.
* As a lesbian and a person of color, Aech became interested in Luz Noceda, another LGBT character of color, as well as her girlfriend Amity Blight. After getting to know more of the universe they inhabit, Aech finds herself very happy that the witch world has a very diverse population, unlike something like ''The Lord of the Rings'', which she's been known as criticizing for being having a very white cast. Also, given Aech's mother disowned her and kicked her out for her lesbianism, Aech wishes she could have someone even half as understanding as Luz' mother, who was very accepting and supportive of her daughter's sexuality, and even her choice to permanently live in the witch world. At least Aech has something of a family in the High Five, who accept her no matter what, which in turn could be likened to the friends Luz made while in the witch world, the first real ones she ever had in her life due to being seen as an unpopular weirdo back in her world of origin.
* [=Art3mis=] used to be very self-conscious about a port wine mark that covered the right side of her face, making her hesitate to meet anyone IRL who requested it. She learned to own up to it, but it still makes her pretty empathetic towards people who have similar blemishes on themselves, especially if they have some emotional baggage attached to it. Such is the case with Shoto Todoroki and Zuko, whose prominent burn scars on their faces are the direct result of their parents' abuse; more specifically, Zuko was burned by his father for daring to speak out against him, while Shoto's mother threw boiling water on his face out of extreme stress at his father's tyrannical behavior towards the both of them. While [=Art3mis=] was born with her mark and her life hasn't brought her trauma comparable to Shoto and Zuko's, she still admires how they could become well-adjusted thanks to finding true friends, rather like what happened with her by becoming one of the High Five.
* Daito and Shoto consider themselves brothers despite the fact that they didn't know each other's real identities until Daito was murdered by the IOI. They always stuck together during the easter egg hunt and would share each other's successes and rewards. They couldn't be happier to be reunited through the Pantheon, where they've additionally met a number of deities whose bonds of brotherhood they find inspiring. One example is Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, who swore to always aid each other as they fought against evil forces threatening to bring down the empire they defended; Daito and Shoto like to compare this to their own stands against the IOI to prevent them from taking over the OASIS. A more humorous, but still moving, example are the Blues Brothers, two men who met as children in an orphanage and stuck by each other well into adulthood, even going on an adventure together to save the orphanage that had raised them. Daito and Shoto hope their own bond is as unbreakable as they venture through the dangers of the Pantheon and defend their precious OASIS from them.
