* In ''Webcomic/TheAdventuresOfDrMcNinja'', the Doctor does this regularly. A later chapter introduces the "Inverse Ninja Law", which reads, "[[ConservationOfNinjutsu One ninja is an elite and powerful adversary. Multiple ninjas make a group of faceless and incompetent pawns.]]"
* In ''Webcomic/AmericanBarbarian'', [[http://www.ambarb.com/?p=154 Rick himself]].
* In the later stages of ''Webcomic/BobAndGeorge'', George. As soon as he figures out his [[ShockAndAwe mass-unconsciousness chain-lightning attack]], he gains the ability to nonlethally (sort of) disable entire armies of ninjas.
-->'''Mega Man''': How are we going to get past all those ninjas?\
'''''ZAP'''''\
'''George''': Any more stupid questions?
* ''Webcomic/BoyfriendOfTheDead'': Alex. In a world where supernatural zombies have taken over Tokyo, [[BadassNormal an ordinary human girl]] [[TheDreaded is the most dangerous thing around]]. She actually manages to befriend quite a few zombies because she has absolutely nothing to fear from them--[[HorrifyingTheHorror they are far more scared of her]]. N says that while most of the humans are playing ''Series/TheWalkingDead'', Alex is playing ''VideoGame/DeadRising''.
* In ''Webcomic/CommanderKitty'', [[http://www.commanderkitty.com/2011/05/15/saved-by-the-bell/ Nin Wah shows clear signs of being one of these.]]
* Skoll of ''Webcomic/CryHavoc'' has a body count of a paltry fourteen. Take note however that four of those kills were with a sword against assault rifles and shotguns. Three more were the crew of a main battle tank. That she charged down. As it fired every weapon it had. And hit her. Suffice to say, she worked for those kills.
* Pick any member of the main cast in ''Webcomic/ChaosTheory''. Each of them can dish out epic destruction in their own way.
** Clayton applies liberal amounts of ConservationOfNinjitsu, taking on a small army by himself on a regular basis.
** Connor hacks into a security system to make people get killed by their own defenses.
** Kevin drops explosives everywhere, leaving mostly rubble and singe marks.
** Troy literally punches out tanks and wields an AA gun like a pistol.
* Karnak in ''Webcomic/DominicDeegan'' by necessity. It's noted he doesn't really seem to gain or keep followers very well, so any battles he ends up fighting, he pretty much has to do it on his own. Being the single most powerful demon in Hell by this point certainly helps.
** In one of the latest arcs, we see a battle. On one side, [[spoiler: Demon Siegfried]] and a gigantic battalion of demons. On the other hand, Karnak. The tagline? [[http://www.dominic-deegan.com/view.php?date=2010-11-26 Two armies clashing]].
* ''Webcomic/{{Erma}}'': When it comes to snow fights, water-balloon fights, dodgeball, and even regular fights, Erma's in a league all her own.
** Though she has nothing compared to her grandfather. A powerful tengu who crushes nearly anyone in his way and feared by nearly every single one of his kind.
* Jacob Doe in ''Webcomic/GenocideMan'' has taken on large groups of both wannabe bioterrorists and professional soldiers with nothing but his augmentations and a handgun (granted a full-auto railgun with sarin-tipped darts). It's said that Genocide Men are designed to take on armies. Later on, the real psycho among the Genocide Men (who got his WMD-level plague-dispensing [[TakingYouWithMe failsafe pack]] taken away because he kept triggering it for fun) casually slaughters an entire city by hand, its denizens helpless to stop him, to draw Jacob out. If you want an idea of how that same "real psycho" (named Joey) was back when he still had that plague dispenser, [[http://www.genocideman.com/?page_id=74 just check this timeline]]. As a summary, the body count he so often brags about is of at least ''400000 people''.
* ''Webcomic/GirlGenius'', being set in a world of mad science, has plenty.
** Zeetha is a [[http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20041103#.V4e3LbgrLIU one-girl army]], killing every one of the pirates that abducted her, then blowing up their fleet, then blowing up their base - all while recovering from an illness that had made her sick for weeks and given her hallucinations. Also an example of DidNotThinkThisThrough - she forgot to leave any alive to ask them where her [[LostWorld homeland]] was.
** Also, any strong [[MadScientist Spark]] with little preparation can be an enormous trouble.
*** An army of [[SpiderTank war stompers]] [[http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20071109 arrives]]. [[OverlordJr Gilgamesh Wulfenbach]] [[http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20071116 walks out of the gate]] to meet dear guests, alone. [[http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20071126#.V4e2qrgrLIU It goes]] [[http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20071128#.V4e2zLgrLIU very well]] [[http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20071130#.V4e27LgrLIU indeed.]]
*** Agatha Heterodyne, the titular Girl Genius, also gets her moments, particularly when armed with a weapon of her own creation. Like the [[http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20121123#.V4e4SLgrLIU lightning generator]] that [[http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20121126#.V4e4srgrLIU blows up half the town,]] or a death ray that [[http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20090306#.V4e5JrgrLIU makes a hole in a mountain some miles off.]]
** While normal Jägers are very strong and quick healing {{super soldier}}s the Generals are vastly more powerful and more experienced than their average kin, with Khrizhan spending a fight against the Empire's elite strike force casually chatting before [[https://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20120528 single-handedly destroying nearly all of them along with their airship]].
** Those very same Jägers - transformed {{SuperSoldier}}s they were - more or less ''[[https://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20130426 pissed themselves]]'' the moment Baron Klaus Wulfenbach himself landed in a drop-pod. Earlier in the comic, he was able to get hit by artillery fire while in hospital and survive anyways.
* ''Webcomic/{{Goblins}}'' has Kore, a very badass and [[KnightTemplar very evil]] paladin who has apparently wiped out armies of orcs and ogres single-handedly.
* Any high-level gosu[[note]]A "gosu" is someone who is an expert at something. In this context, "gosu" refers to a martial arts expert.[[/note]] from ''Webcomic/{{Gosu}}'' qualifies including, but not limited to, Gang Ryong, Sa Paecheon, and Soh Jinhong.
** An example of Gang's might was most notably highlighted when he effortlessly ravaged an entire faction as well as one of its elites in a matter of minutes.
* ''Webcomic/GrrlPower'''s Sydney has shown she could be this... even factoring she doesn't know everything the orbs giving her powers can do (part of it being it appears they need to be leveled up to "unlock" everything). At one point, she ends up stuck behind on a planet that had been attacked by an unknown-to-humans race; Maxima didn't want to spend the time fighting the Kaiju-sized opponent that appeared when their portal back home was collapsing; as said, Sydney ended up left behind. She ends up figuring out how to get around its shield, energy beams, and waves of personal fighters it kept sending out. Then three more appeared... And when she ends up back home, she appears more concerned with borrowing some money to throw in her swear jar: Her personal rule is $5 per swear-lace rant (it's cheaper than per word), and she slaps down... $10,000 (with "rounding"). Maxima is understandably worried about her report.
* ''Webcomic/GuildedAge'': While a complete douchebag and all-around {{jerkass}}, Payet had taken on literally hordes of enemies single-handedly without so much as a split end.
* Shogun from ''Webcomic/{{Harkovast}}'' kills what is literally a small army of Nameless warriors. To make matters worse, about halfway through, he pauses to announce that (despite having him ridiculously outnumbered) THEY are the ones who are all going to die.
* Almost every single notable character in ''Webcomic/{{Homestuck}}''; however [[BigBad Jack Noir]] takes the cake, who lights a [[SetTheWorldOnFire planet on FIRE,]] and casually destroys [[spoiler:at least ''15'' more as well as later destroying an entire universe from the outside.]] Even before he go [[spoiler:he got powers of a [[PhysicalGod First Guardian]] ]], he was qualified as this - right after he [[spoiler: get powers of the Black Queen and King]], he proceeds to end the war between Prospit and Derse by ''singlehandedly slaughtering both armies''.
** [[spoiler: [[WalkingSpoiler Lord English]] ]] makes Jack look like a lost puppy. That guy slaughters millions of [[spoiler: [[DeaderThanDead ghosts]] and [[EldritchAbomination outer gods]] ]], just because they get in the way.
** [[BlueBlood Equius Zahhak]], though not even in the same league as Jack Noir, is able to OneHitKO high-level enemies and [[MadeOfIron survive enormous amounts of trauma (falling from one Aradia's planet's gates, anyone?)]] due to a mutation making him insanely [[RunningGag STRONG]]. [[spoiler: He only dies through a combination of his submission kink making him unable to fight against his aggressor and getting suffocated.]]
* ''Webcomic/KillSixBillionDemons''
** There are the [[OurAngelsAreDifferent angels,]] beings created to keep the law in [[EldritchLocation Throne,]] and as such each of them are unstoppable badasses who can slaughter their way through entire armies with casual disregard. The angel known as [[NameThatUnfoldsLikeLotusBlossom 82 White Chain Born In Emptiness Returns To Subdue Evil]] debuts by effortlessly dispatching an entire [[TheMafia Guild]] using nothing but their palms. White Chain is one of the ''less'' powerful angels. [[TakingYouWithMe Oh, and they explode upon death.]]
--> [[TheRant "I wasted five hours of hard fighting and a hundred and fifty of my best men bringing it down. Then it exploded." - General Yross of the Yellow Moon Brood, on fighting angels]]
** The legendary swordswoman Meti once fought ten thousand men, completely naked, with only a single sword. She won. She barely even needed the sword, too; she describes once being ambushed at the beach without a weapon and decapitating fifteen men with a random piece of driftwood before even ''she'' knew what was happening.
** Intra the Sword-Saint was another masterful swordsman long gone by the comic's start, and it's implied he was at a similar level of skill to Meti. The only time we hear of him facing against a horde, however, he didn't even ''use'' the sword -- he just killed fifty men in less than half a second by skipping a single rock across all their ribcages.
** Meti's pupil, Mathangi Ten Meti Mantra, also known as [[NamesToRunAwayFromVeryFast Murder The Gods and Topple Their Thrones,]] is able to kill boatloads of people in a district-sized gang war without standing up from her bar stool at a noodle vendor, or even turning around to them. With a broken sword.
** In "King of Swords", many warriors from all over the cosmos take part in the Ring of Power tournament, where the winner gets a chance to have any wish fulfilled by the emperor, Solomon David -- as long as they can fight Solomon himself well enough to draw a single drop of blood. This time, at the end of the tournament, Solomon offers everyone still remaining in the ring a chance to either stand down or attack him, everyone who wants at once. What looks to be a second or so later, everyone who chose to attack is torn to pieces, while those who didn't are unharmed. It helps that Solomon's fighting style not only allows him to punch through people as though they are MadeOfPlasticine but also allows him to do so while TimeStandsStill. Notably, despite being a PhysicalGod capable of destroying stars with a thought, Solomon didn't ''need'' to use his divine powers to do that -- he's that powerful even without his [[AmplifierArtifact Magus Key]].
** The Dead Man Yaun ten Jantris, [[spoiler:who would later become the Demiurge Jagganoth]], once put siege to a fortified city with 30,000 defenders on his own. The siege lasted less than a week: On the two first days the city's defenders rallied to defeat him, and each time Yaun killed over 5,000 of them single-handedly, piling their corpses up in giant piles outside the walls. A pair of Master Swordsmen [[spoiler:Mathangi and Incubus]] were sent in to reinforce the city. [[SensingYouAreOutmatched They took one look at Yaun and his work and promptly switched sides]].
* Characters in ''Webcomic/MushroomGo'' see Mario as this.
-->'''Sasha:''' The toads had already [[http://mushroomgo.thecomicseries.com/comics/59/ sent their army]] to aid in the liberation process. Their ''REAL'' army.
* ''Webcomic/TheOrderOfTheStick'':
** Every member of the Order itself. Belkar is [[MemeticMutation a sexy shoeless god of war,]] Vaarsuvius is a mage with a trigger finger, Durkon is the [[ItMakesSenseInContext giant dwarf]], and [[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0470.html even Haley can hold her own against multiple foes.]] The only official one who isn't is Elan, but he's working on it.
** The big ones, though, are Roy, V, and Belkar. Between strips [[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0917.html 917]] and [[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0924.html 924]], the three, in rapid succession, face down an entire army. First Roy, effectively alone, with hundreds of arrows raining down upon him, as well as thousands of incoming soldiers, proceeds to speak confidently about surviving for hours until dusk- and then starts making good on that statement. As he's slowly overrun, though, V comes back from [[spoiler: Hell]] sets up a Wall of Fire around the protagonists, putting the attacking army on the defensive. Then, as the fires begin to lie low, Belkar [[spoiler: hijacks an Allosaurus]] and proceeds to rip the entire army to shreds with it. Worth pointing out though that Belkar is a nuanced example: he cuts through lowly {{Mooks}} like a hot knife through butter because his Dexterity is very high (so he can jump around slicing people up like Yoda) but conversely his other physical stats are subpar and his mental stats, [[WeakWilled particularly his Wisdom]], are abysmal. His record against higher-level opponents is one of the worst and spellcasters in particular tend to steamroll him.
** At first, Elan had no notable fighting capabilities [[TheLoad at all]], but after becoming a Dashing Swordsman, he's definitely getting there, and can now [[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0684.html hold his own against multiple foes.]] In strip [[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0918.html 918]], he actually tries to [[InvokedTrope invoke]] this against [[spoiler: Tarquin]]'s army, but unfortunately, since [[spoiler: [[EvilOverlord Tarquin]] is Elan's father]], they refuse to fight him out of fear.
** Then there's O-Chul, the toughest member of the Sapphire Guard. His standard method of fighting is "[[MightyGlacier stand around taking hits, counterattack when an opening presents itself]]." His prequel story (before he became a paladin) starts with several dozen hobgoblins fleeing after killing everyone but O-Chul because they just couldn't break him.
--->'''Saha:''' They ran when you only had three warriors standing? That's impressive.\
'''O-Chul:''' And technically inaccurate. One was knocked out cold, one was... [[DirtyCoward attending to the villagers]].\
'''Saha:''' ...they ran when you only had ''one!?''\
'''O-Chul:''' [[ComicallyMissingThePoint And a horse. Though the horse's contributions were more significant post-engagement]].
* Oasis and Bun Bun from ''Webcomic/SluggyFreelance''. [[http://www2.gvsu.edu/~loulab/sluggy.html Kill tallies here]].
** After alien Santa's army was wiped out, he casually took the field alone and demolished half of Halloween.
* Nightmare from ''Webcomic/{{Sidekicks}}'' proved how powerful she was when she [[CurbStompBattle effortlessly annihilated]] the countless [[spoiler:Alex clones]] that attacked her. To put this in perspective, just three of said [[spoiler:Alex clones]] were able to overwhelm another superhero only moments before.
* ''Webcomic/SkinHorse'': Unity is an undead supersoldier created by the US government. She's been known to eat bombs, accidentally break through twenty feet of concrete, and fight off small superhuman armies. When a four-star general throws troops at her, Unity ''thanks'' her, and her friends just sit by to watch the carnage.
-->'''Dr. Lee:''' ''[thinking]'' This was the vision in my mind, long ago. The beautiful nightmare: Now it looks upon me with leaden eyes. She is a poem of perfect violence. She is my shining Enyo, my radiant Bellona.\
'''Soldier:''' HOLY MOTHER OF-- ''[explosion]''\
'''Officer:''' GUNSHIPS! GUNSHIPS TO CHESIRE ''NOW!''\
'''Unity:''' Aw yeah, it's ''on''.\
'''Sweetheart:''' Yeah, I remember the first time ''I'' saw Unity do a client intervention.\
'''Tip:''' [[UnusuallyUninterestingSight I'm gonna get a soda. Anyone else want a soda?]]
* In ''Webcomic/SuperTemps'' that is main character Skully in a nutshell. Her powers allow her to decimate any threat so well that she has to hold herself back. If she went off the deep end at any point, mass destruction and chaos would ensue!
* Several characters in ''Webcomic/TowerOfGod'', especially [[AmazonBrigade Jahad's Princesses]] like Yuri and Maschenny, High Rankers like Yu Hansung and Ha Jinsung as well as Jahad and his 10 Great Warriors. For them, it is already at the point of subversion because what they are able to do has reached a terrifying notoriety. There's a certain redundancy to this trope in the Tower in that there are so many ascending levels of power -- Regulars are more powerful than ordinary people, higher-level Regulars are more powerful than lower-level Regulars, Rankers are way more powerful than Regulars, High Rankers are much more powerful than other Rankers, etc. This means that almost anyone a few levels up could be a One-Man Army if they went up against much lower-level enemies. It's like how any level 50 character could be a One-Man Army (or even PersonOfMassDestruction) in ''VideoGame/WorldOfWarcraft'' if they were fighting against level 10 opponents, in spite of the fact that 50 isn't even halfway up the available levels.
** Ha Jinsung showed just why he is ranked in the Top 100 when he stormed his former pupil's secret hideout and annihilated all of the guards without so much as breaking a sweat.
** Evankhell, the Number 60 High Ranker, easily [[CurbStompBattle Curb Stomped]] most of the Fourth Squadron and only Kallavan, the leader of said Squadron, made her use genuine effort in fighting. Later on, after losing her high rank due to losing her position as the supervisor of the Second Floor, she fights the Fourth Squadron when they were specifically prepared against her and all it does is make her release more of her power to still once again stomp them. Then she points out how any Ranker on the top 300 are capable of handling an entire Squadron of Zahard's Army without their squadron commander on their own, meaning that others on that rank are likewise One-Man Armies.
** Then there is the case of Irregulars, those whose presence violates the basic rules of the Tower. Mostly because they were able to open the doors to the Tower themselves, they are among the most powerful beings in the Tower, so powerful in fact, that they are either the highest-ranked Rankers or go even above that. Zahard, the most powerful of the original Irregulars, during the ancient past managed to single-handedly crush an entire group of the strongest of FUG's fighters, which officially ended the first war between his empire and FUG. Even the weaker ones, like Po Bidau Gustang and the Lo Po Bia Family Head, are still deemed fully capable of annihilating entire armies of FUG. Urek Mazino was able to climb the Tower in around fifty years, 10 times faster than average, and even stalemated Arie Hon[[note]]The strongest Great Family head.[[/note]] before becoming the fourth strongest Ranker. Urek even stated that it would take 1000 Rankers against him alone to be of any challenge, while Po Bidau Gustang also considered him capable of killing his entire family in a rage. Enryu not only massacred all of the Zahard's followers stationed, but also [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu killed the]] [[PhysicalGod Guardian]] of the 43rd Floor, even though they were considered practically immortal and unbeatable. And finally, Phantaminum appeared out of nowhere, stormed Jahad's castle, killed hundreds of High Rankers in his way, reached Jahad and decided, for some unknown reason, to leave again. In the end, there was no choice but to make him the highest-ranked of the Tower.
** On a smaller scale, Ja Wangnan convinced Bam to make a truce with him because even if he was strong, he wouldn't hold out against the next six contestants. When the rest arrive and start squabbling, Bam decides to fight them all and nearly beats all but Wangnan, whose [[ActionSurvivor lucky skills]] and PokéBombs save his ass.
** When Quant Blitz is in charge of the first test for a group of Regulars seeking to climb the Tower, he decides to just make it a half-hour deathmatch and let the survivors proceed. He should have paid attention to what's going on because when he comes back after the half-hour, there are only three survivors out of the original two hundred. These include Endorsi, a Princess of Jahad; and Rachel, who has no special abilities herself, together with Ghost, the monstrous bodyguard given to her by Headon.
* Webcomic/SchlockMercenary has several members of Tagon's Toughs able to defend themselves against larger forces, but two stand out:
** Schlock is a BlobMonster that can increase his mass as needed (usually by pouncing on and eating his opponents), is stronger and [[FasterThanTheyLook Faster Than He Looks]] (only heavily-boosted {{Super Soldier}}s can outrun him, and he's strong enough that he's considered even deadlier than his uplifted elephant colleague in the case of a grapple) and uses various {{BFG}}s as ''personal handguns''. Or an occasional JetPack, in the case of the Plasgun. He's taken entire ship crews and heavily-armed bandit squadrons by himself and is generally considered to be the single most dangerous individual on the entire corps.
** Kevin is the ship's munitions commander, and is considered "the encyclopedia entry for MadScientist". His rank insignia epaulettes have been turned into two variable-yield antimatter grenades; one storyline showed that "warhead" might be a more appropriate term -- one was a shield-breacher tank killer, and when someone ask why they were running away from the other like it was a nuke, all his captain would say was "If only..."[[note]]The second grenade had been accidentally armed during a firefight, his company was trying to run for "minimum safe distance", and the explosion knocked down a ''ship'' as collateral damage. Remember, this is a rank insignia epaulette.[[/note]] Then there was the time he had to be enhanced by nanite-boosts to take down an enemy fortress...
--> [[http://www.schlockmercenary.com/2007-03-28 "Let's dump some rocket fuel into these muscle cells and see what the old meat-bag is good for!"]][[note]]Kevyn had just been in contact with the soldier-boosts while unconscious and 'everybody' realized that things were about to go bad if the boost-nanites didn't do more than "repair and revive". The quote leads directly into everything Kevyn does to pull off the fortress-kill.[[/note]]
--> "Hello commander. I now have a shiny new tank, but there's an ugly stain on the upholstery..."
--> "Not to toot my own horn, but I was punching through hullmetal ''with my bare hands''."
* ''WebComic/UnholyBlood'':
** Hayan is a pure blood vampire and hence one of the strongest of her kind. It allows her to effortlessly take down hundreds of mixed blood vampires in her fights.
** The generals of the BigBad, the "Angels of Death", are each able to take down hundred of other vampires themselves. In fact, to become an "Angel of Death" requires a vampire to be the strongest of his region.
* ''Webcomic/YellowBrickRamble'': A rare [[{{Subverted|Trope}} subversion]] of this trope. In this comic adaptation of [[Literature/TheMarvelousLandOfOz the second Oz novel,]] Emerald City quite literally has a one-man army, as Omby Amby is the city's only soldier. In [[https://yellowbrickramble.com/comic/a-revolution-in-emerald-city chapter 8]] of the comic, when General Jinjur and her Army of Revolt try to invade the city to conquer it, it seems at first that Omby might be able to hold them off all by himself. Unfortunately for both him and Emerald City, Omby swiftly proves to be incompetent at his job.
