Brandon isn't fooled for a moment and easily deflects her attack, then kills her.

At the climax, Joker's clown henchmen hold a group of hostages in a construction site; knowing Joker's penchant for BaitAndSwitch now, Batman deduces that the clowns switched clothes with the hostages and defeats them.
