They say that [[Literature/TheRepublic rings that can turn you invisible]] can [[InvisibleJerkass turn men into monsters]]; such a power easy to exploit for personal gain, whether it involves [[PowerPerversionPotential peeking in the girl's locker room]] or [[WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity assassinating the king and sleeping with his wife]]. Imagine what those kind of weak-willed maniacs could do if they could freeze time!

You will be in and out before they realize you were there. In fact, you could have been there ''for hours'' while to everyone else it was less than a second. Your school rival is spending alone time with his Playboy magazine and then suddenly he blinks and finds out that all of his books have been de-alphabetized with his bowl of popcorn turned over his head, his pants around his ankles and he is somehow in the middle of Times Square just as a news camera started recording right where he was standing. Maybe you give someone a MotionlessMakeover and cover them with stuff as they're helpless to do anything about it. Whether it is because you [[SuperSpeed move too fast]] or if you can actually stop the clock, there is no end to the possibilities when you can make [[TimeStandsStill Time Stand Still]]!

* The ''Manga/{{Doraemon}}'' manga chapter which debuts the Stop Watch (which stops time, as the name states) have Nobita sneaking away with it and going around on a trolling spree, including [[FaceDoodling scribbling over Gian's and Suneo's faces]] as payback for making fun of him in school for "being slow", trespassing neighbours' houses as a shortcut and unwrapping manga issues in a bookstore, reading them right in front of the time-frozen shopkeeper. But the gadget unexpectedly malfunctions (as always) right before Nobita can unpause it, leading to Nobita realizing [[NiceJobBreakingItHero he might have permanently stopped time for the rest of the world]]. Nobita eventually made things work by travelling back to ''before'' his trolling spree to get Doraemon to fix the watch, using the TimeMachine in his drawer which can somehow function (probably because it's another time-related gadget and therefore immune to the Stopwatch).
* ''Manga/JojosBizarreAdventureStardustCrusaders'':
** [[spoiler: [=DIO's=]]] first on-screen usage of his Stand's ability (though the time stop itself isn't shown) is to repeatedly place Polnareff at the bottom of a set of stairs that the latter was climbing up to confront him, then taunting him by asking if he was too afraid to come up and face him.
** [[spoiler: [=DIO's=]]] actually very fond of this. When fighting against [[spoiler: [=Jotaro at the last episodes=]]], he stops time to troll a bunch of random people in a restaurant, sticking forks in their faces or messing with their foods, simply because he could! [[note]]However, from an external point of view, him screaming his Stand's name and a bunch of people instantly screaming with seemingly random side effects is quite a menacing sight...[[/note]]
* ''Manga/{{Fragtime}}'' is a [[YuriGenre yuri]] love story between Moritani Misuzu, a girl who has the ability to freeze time for three minutes a day, and Murakami Haruka, a popular girl who is mysteriously immune to her power. When Moritani sees how upset Murakami is by seeing her boyfriend cheating on her with another girl at the mall, she freezes time to shove a pair of panties on his head and encourages Murakami to write on his face. Later in the story they occasionally exploit Moritani's power to write messages to their classmates to their bemusement.
* In ''Manga/YamadaKunAndTheSevenWitches'', the witch ceremony causes time to stop for everyone except the seventh witch and the wish-maker for its duration. Every time the ceremony is held in the series, the seventh witch exposes the other witches' underwear.
* ''Manga/TimeStopHero'' focuses around Kuzuno Sekai, a teenager who is [[TrappedInAnotherWorld stuck in a video game fantasy world]] with an old NES-style controller capable of stopping time. While he does use it to solve whatever problems he and his group come up against, as every quest they undertake has a strict time limit that only he's aware of and he ''does not'' want to know what happens when it hits zero, he uses it even more frequently to quickly grope and strip every woman around him.

[[folder:Comic Books]]
* In the ''ComicBook/GrimmFairyTales'' special "Grimm Fairy Tales: 2016 Photoshoot Edition", the vigilante Robyn Locksley goes up against Madame Medusa, a one-shot villain with a magical eye that can freeze people. She uses this power in a scheme to freeze and kidnap attractive women, namely models and actresses, undress them and then redress them in cloths of her choice before doing photoshoots with them and putting them on display like statures.
* In one Scrooge [=McDuck=] story written by Creator/DonRosa, "On Stolen Time", the Beagle Boys steal a stopwatch from Gyro Gearloose that freezes time anywhere outside a ten-meter radius of the device. Naturally, they use it to rob Scrooge blind, but also to mess with him by for instance, sticking a hundred "thank you" cards to his body while time has been stopped.
* ''ComicBook/SexCriminals'' is about a people for who time stops when they orgasm. One of them uses this ability to take a dump on his boss' potted plant, and when the protagonists both discover they have this ability (guess how...), start using it to rob banks.

[[folder:Films -- Animation]]
* In ''WesternAnimation/TheAngryBirdsMovie'', during an attempt to retrieve the eggs, Chuck enters Chuck Time just as Red tries to come up with a plan. He uses that time to paint a demeaning message on one of the Bad Piggies ("Fart Face" in the film, "I stink" in the junior novel) and gives the paint bucket to another pig to make him a scapegoat. When the time gets to normal, the Bad Piggies fight amongst themselves.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheIncredibles'': Dash used his SuperSpeed to harass his teacher while seemingly standing still. Even when the teacher catches it on video, it just looks like a glitch.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Films -- Live-Action]]
* Michael in ''Film/{{Click}}'' stops time when in his boss's office and farts in his face. When he unpauses time, the boss ''chews'' the odor.
* The protagonist of ''Film/{{Clockstoppers}}'' occasionally engages in this. For example, when his TokenBlackFriend complains that he and his girlfriend are leaving him alone, the protagonist stops the car, and suddenly his friend is standing in the middle of the street with his pants around his ankles.
* In ''Film/SpyKidsAllTheTimeInTheWorld'', Juni finds a way to unfreeze the OSS agents, but before he unfreezes Carmen he positions her hand so she's picking her nose.
* Using his SuperSpeed, Quicksilver in ''Film/XMenDaysOfFuturePast'' has enough spare time while redirecting bullets to position the cops that shot at him to punch themselves, give one a wedgie, steal someone's hat and, because this takes place in a kitchen, taste one of the dishes.
* ''Film/{{Cashback}}'': The film revolves around a man who gains the ability to freeze time, and he uses it to undress attractive women to ogle and draw them.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Literature]]
* In ''[[Literature/TalesOfTheDarkForestWhizzard Whizzard]]'', the main character gets a hold of a potion that lets him move so fast that to him, everyone else is standing still. When he first discovers this, he decides to have fun playing pranks on people, including making someone stand in front of a bull and blow a raspberry to it, removing a ladder from someone fixing a roof, taking away a stool from someone about to sit down, or placing a pig in the bed of the local stingy nobleman.
* In the short sci-fi story [[http://www.gutenberg.org/files/31663/31663-h/31663-h.htm "The Six Fingers of Time"]] by Creator/RALafferty, the protagonist can move sixty times faster than other people, to the same effect. He uses his skill for all kinds of pranks, including the [[PowerPerversionPotential creepy one of kissing and fondling a girl he likes]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Live-Action TV]]
* ''Series/LoisAndClark'': In a ChristmasEpisode where the villain of the week has been spraying people with a chemical that makes them act like greedy children, Clark uses his super speed to steal all the office candy while everyone thinks he's on the other side of the room. His parents witness this and lecture him on his behavior, causing him to realize how he's behaving and fight off the effects.
* In the ''Series/Lucifer2016'' episode "[[Recap/Lucifer2016S02E01EverythingsComingUpLucifer Everything's Coming Up Lucifer]]", Amenadiel freezes time when they realize that the bank robber they interrogate isn't [[spoiler:possessed by their mother]]. While they discuss the matter at hand, Lucifer messes with the frozen robber, putting a tiara on his head, stealing his gun, stripping him down to his briefs and tying his shoes together before leaving.
* Discussed and played for laughs in an episode of ''Series/{{QI}}'', when Sean Lock suggested [[MundaneUtility using time manipulation to cheat at casino games]]. He then added that while time was stopped, he'd take the opportunity to adjust the undergarments of the other casino patrons, purely for his own amusement.
* In the ''Series/MarriedWithChildren'' episode "Damn Bundys", the Devil pauses time so he can offer a deal to Al Bundy. After accepting the deal, Al asks the Devil to wait a few seconds before unfreezing the room: In the meantime he puts a broom in Peg's hand and [[SodaCanShakeup shakes the beer can Jeff is about to open]].
* ''Series/RedDwarf''. While the crew is frozen by the Time Wand, Lister steals a ping pong ball from mid-air between two players.
* In ''Series/{{The Flash|2014}}'', speedsters occasionally engage in this. For example, while we don't actually see Barry's perspective, a mugger who tries to rob him at gunpoint finds himself disarmed, pantsed, and facing a cop. In a later episode, Barry parodies the Quicksilver scene from ''Film/XMenDaysOfFuturePast'' and has the {{Dirty Cop}}s slam one another in the face with their guns. During a prison fight, he positions the thugs so that they hit one another and causes a third one to break his hand against a beam, while making it look like they're simply incompetent. Oh, and he uses his powers to cheat at prison poker. In ''Series/LegendsOfTomorrow'', a drunk Wally does this to Gary, dropping his pants and stealing his [[TimeMachine time courier]].
* Zack Morris of ''Series/SavedByTheBell'' has the in-universe ability to call "time-outs", making time freeze around himself while he would consider the situation and what he should do next. In one of the first instances, before starting time back up, he stuck a sheet of paper between the faces to two people about to kiss, along with exiting the scene himself so that Slater wouldn't punch him (he clocked Belding instead).
* ''Series/TheTwilightZone1959'': In "[[Recap/TheTwilightZone1959S5E4AKindOfAStopwatch A Kind of a Stopwatch]]", after being fired from Cooper Corporation, Patrick Thomas [=McNulty=] returns to his former workplace with the stopwatch and uses it to pull pranks such as placing flowers in his former boss Mr. Cooper's shirt and breast pocket. He later uses it in Joe Palucci's bar to mess up Charlie's hair and finish off several patrons' beers. [=McNulty=] finally realizes that the stopwatch can make him extremely rich and robs the United Fidelity Bank. [[spoiler:However, as he is leaving the bank, he accidentally drops the watch, breaking it and leaving him trapped in the frozen time forever.]]
* ''Series/TheTwilightZone1985'': In "[[Recap/TheTwilightZone1985S1E1 A Little Peace and Quiet]]", Penny just about resists the temptation to pull down a passerby's shorts when time is frozen. Later, she is annoyed by two anti-nuclear activists who call at her house. After she freezes time again, she drags them over to her lawn and lies them down. When time is resumed, they are too frightened to try talking to her again.
* In ''Series/ElChapulinColorado'', the titular hero sometimes pulls this when he brings the Chicharra Paralizadora (a honker that allows him to stop people or objects with a honk, and then return them to normal with two honks). One instance involves tricking a girl into howling like a wolf, and paralyze her before stealing a kiss from her.

[[folder:Webcomics]]
* In ''Webcomic/ElGoonishShive'', while in her simulated time stop, Sarah [[https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/2015-04-03 dresses]] Catalina in a french maid outfit and uses her to hold a tray with a drink on it.
* In ''Webcomic/TheWhiteboard'', Doc takes advantage of caffeine-induced super speed to, among other things, [[http://www.the-whiteboard.com/autotwb1073.html re-arrange some furniture]] and [[http://www.the-whiteboard.com/autotwb1074.html give someone an atomic wedgie]]. Then, reality catches up, resulting in various explosions, fires, and Doc's comatose body being found a mile away.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Web Original]]
* ''WebOriginal/CyanideAndHappiness'': In "The Animator's Curse", a stop-motion animator gets a wish from a genie to slow time to near-freezing when he uses a photography trigger. First, he gets revenge on his boss by making his pants fall down, forcing him to claim he's racist, and then jump out the window and land naked in the sewer. Then he uses it on a homeless man to make money, then cheats on a football match to multiply that cash, and then recreates a scene from a cartoon where a guy's eyes and heart burst out of his body. That last one goes too far and he has to spend ''years'' in stop-motion to figure out how to revive the corpse.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Western Animation]]
* ''WesternAnimation/TheAmazingWorldOfGumball'' episode "The Countdown" has Gumball and Darwin racing against an on-screen clock to get to school on time -- that is, until they [[CameraAbuse crash into the screen]] and stop the clock, and time along with it. Knowing they accidentally stopped time, they decided to mess around with it, such as pulling someone's pants down and putting lipstick all over his face.
* In the ''WesternAnimation/{{Arthur}}'' episode "Go To Your Room, D.W!" D.W. THINKS time has stopped when she's in time-out and does things like take a cookie from Arthur and put Pal with the Tibbles. Turns out it's all just a fantasy sequence. Her father is not amused when she tells him and he sends her back to her room.
* ''WesternAnimation/DuckTales2017'': In "The 87 Cent Solution!", Flintheart Glomgold gets a hold of Gyro Gearloose's latest invention, the Time Teaser, and uses it drive Scrooge crazy by stealing 87 cents from his money bin, and then sticking a fake page about "gold fever" in Huey's Junior Woodchuck guidebook and [[InducedHypochondria making it appear Scrooge is suffering from the "symptoms"]].
* ''WesternAnimation/FinalSpace'': In [[Recap/FinalSpaceS1E8Chapter8 Season 1, Chapter 8]], Gary and his dad take advantage of the fact time is frozen around them to beat the [[FallenHero Lord Commander]]'s past self to a bloody pulp, bonding over the act.
* In the ''WesternAnimation/JohnnyBravo'' episode "The Day the Earth Didn't Move Around Very Much", Johnny [[ApopheniaPlot falsely believes]] that time has frozen for everyone but him because his alarm clock had been stopped at 12:00 due to a power outage. Every time he sees anybody, they have each decided to stay completely still for one reason or another, like Little Suzy attempting to balance an egg on her nose or a construction worker falling in wet cement and thinking he'd sink in if he moved around. Johnny takes the opportunity to commit crimes thinking he wouldn't get caught. [[spoiler:When he ''is'' caught, the judge lets him off [[StrangeMindsThinkAlike because he made the same mistake at one point]].]]
* In the ''WesternAnimation/ThePenguinsOfMadagascar'' episode "Time Out", [[InsufferableGenius Kowalski]] invents a watch-like device that can freeze time in place. Julien, thinking it's a stopwatch, decides to use it for his own and eventually sticks his gum in the device, causing it to malfunction temporarily. With Kowalski and Julien being the only two people not frozen, they decide to do whatever they want and have fun, bonding in the process.
* In the ''WesternAnimation/RickAndMorty'' episode "[[Recap/RickAndMortyS1E11RicksyBusiness Ricksy Business]]," Rick freezes time so he, Summer, and Morty can clean up the aftermath of his [[WildTeenParty Wild Alien Party]] before Beth and Jerry get home. Instead of just cleaning up, they decide to also play pranks on people and steal a home theater setup to watch movies together.
* ''WesternAnimation/ShaunTheSheep'': the Squirrel can move so fast that time stands still for him, and in the episode ''Squirreled Away'' he uses this to steal birdseed from the bird feed as Blitzer is trying to fill it, then play a bunch of pranks on Blitzer and the flock.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons'': The last segment of [[Recap/TheSimpsonsS15E1TreehouseOfHorrorXIV "Treehouse of Horror XIV"]] involves Bart and Milhouse using a magic stopwatch to pull pranks before they're found out. They end up breaking the watch and spend the next two decades repairing it to make time go forward again.
* Inverted and PlayedForLaughs in ''WesternAnimation/{{Spliced}}''. When Peri gets a sugar rush he starts moving at SuperSpeed so to him it look like everyone is frozen in time. He then spends this time doing good deeds for everyone, thinking they'll be appreciative and throw him a parade, except when he returns to normal time nobody believes he was the one who did everything.
* In the 12th episode of the cartoon "Tara Duncan", which is based on the french fantasy book series [[Literature/TaraDuncan with the same name]], Cal uses a spell that freezes time in order to stop the MonsterOfTheWeek. But not before [[PowerPerversionPotential giving each of his teammates, Tara and Sparrow, a kiss on the cheeks]].
* In the ''WesternAnimation/{{Trollhunters}}'' episode "[[Recap/TrollhuntersS1E22ItsAboutTime It's About Time]]", Blinky uses the Kairosect a second time to demonstrate what he did by repositioning everyone and everything in the room. When Jim uses it later in the episode, he uses the limited time he had to save Clair from an incoming truck, manage to fix his Spanish test, get Blinky back to Troll-Market away from the human public, takes care of Bagdwella's gnome problem, steals the inferno copula from Strickler (as well as loogie in his open mouth during his dental appointment) and manages to get the Killing Stone before escaping an enraged Anger Rot.
