->"If we had some sort of machine which could imitate any voice, we'd only need one voice actor."\
"We do; it's called 'Creator/BillyWest'."
-->-- WesternAnimation/Futurama DVDCommentary

VoiceActors known for a wide range of voices, and therefore voicing lots of characters. Fact is, the industry is incredibly small, and there just aren't enough actors to cover all the exponentially increasing amount of characters and projects created each year. Being versatile is required.

Bonus points if the actor is able to avert LarynxDissonance and NotEvenBotheringWithTheAccent, but it's not vital.

Name comes from a nickname given to Creator/MelBlanc, who was responsible for nearly every classic WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes character. (This is an exaggeration, however. He admits in his autobiography that he "only" did about 850 voices.)

Can overlap with ActingForTwo, if the actor does multiple roles on the same show.

Interestingly enough, the vast majority of voice actors and vocal work don't create "voices" but are largely using their own natural voice with slight tonal changes, pitched up or down. Thus it is still possible for a PigeonholedVoiceActor to ironically also have "a thousand voices," just people aren't aware of their versatility.

Not to be confused with VoiceChangeling or VoiceOfTheLegion.

!!Just choose a few key roles to give an idea of the actors' ranges. Save large lists for their own pages.

* The undisputed king of this in Japanese voice acting was Creator/KeiTomiyama, who was basically the Japanese equivalent of Creator/MelBlanc. When he died of pancreatic cancer in 1995, many of his roles were taken over by the equally-talented Creator/KoichiYamadera, discussed below.
* Creator/KoichiYamadera, the voice of Spike Spiegel (Anime/CowboyBebop), Ryouga Hibiki (Anime/RanmaOneHalf), Shun Akiyama from VideoGame/Yakuza... as well as Donkey (Franchise/Shrek) and WesternAnimation/DonaldDuck. (No, really-- that's him in the Japanese version of Franchise/KingdomHearts.) He's also the go-to guy for Japanese dubs of Creator/JimCarrey, Creator/EddieMurphy and Creator/RobinWilliams.
* Creator/KenjiUtsumi's vocal range can best be summed up by watching his work in Manga/DragonBall and Anime/DragonBallZ: you'd never suspect that he voiced Shenron with his BaritoneOfStrength, the high-pitched LargeHam announcer of the Tenkaichi Budokai, the sinister Commander Red, and Recoome all at once. Likewise, you could hardly relate those voices as belonging to the same voice actor as Raoh and Kaioh (Manga/FistOfTheNorthStar), the latter of whom even gets a noticeably different voice when he has his helmet on, even when excluding the breathy-voice filter.
* Creator/HirokiTakahashi may not be the most prolific seiyuu around, but he's certainly very varied. Cases in point: MonsterClown Hisoka from Anime/HunterXHunter, Genki Guy Kikumaru Eiji from Manga/ThePrinceOfTennis, Superbia "Shouts all his lines" Squalo from Manga/Reborn2004, ButtMonkey Harima Kenji from Anime/SchoolRumble, Stoic Ryu from Franchise/StreetFighter, soft spoken Japan from Webcomic/HetaliaAxisPowers, and the foul-mouthed Kukri from VideoGame/TheKingOfFighters.
* Creator/ToshihikoSeki, who can range from cheerful fun guy (Duel Maxwell from Anime/MobileSuitGundamWing) to irritable badass (Genjo Sanzo from Manga/Saiyuki) to...quack (Mousse from Manga/RanmaOneHalf).
* Creator/AkiraIshida is another guy that's everywhere but with a lot of range- in particular, he once did a bit in Manga/Gintama in which the one character he voices had an elaborate daydream sequence. He literally talked to himself for something like 10 minutes, all in various male AND female voices.
* Creator/WataruTakagi (Yes, he both voiced and gave his name to Wataru Takagi from Manga/CaseClosed). In what is quite possibly the greatest showcase of vocal talent in Franchise/StreetFighter history, he pulls quintuple-duty as Gen, Birdi, Adon, Zangief, and Sodom in the Alpha.
* Yuichi Nagashima, aka Cho. This guy voiced Jaken (Manga/InuYasha), Hiroshi Uchiyamada (Manga/GreatTeacherOnizuka), Elmer Fudd (WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes), Brook (Manga/OnePiece), Blitzwing (WesternAnimation/TransformersAnimated), Gollum (Film/TheLordOfTheRings) and WesternAnimation/ScoobyDoo.
* Creator/AyaHirano is one of the few voice actresses that doesn't get typecast. She went from eccentric with Jerkass tendencies (Haruhi from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) to an eccentric otaku high school girl (Konata from Manga/LuckyStar) to a lesbian teacher (Yoko from Manga/SchoolRumbles second season) to an almost-godly little girl (Lumière from Anime/KiddyGrade) to a StalkerWithACrush (Misa from Manga/DeathNote) to serious ActionGirl (Chiko from Manga/TheDaughterOfTwentyFaces). She also voices Dende from Anime/DragonBallZKai, who (though a member of a one-gender race), is considered male.
* Creator/KotonoMitsuishi is known for performing a wide variety of characters, ranging from Anime/SailorMoon and Anime/ExcelSagas Excel Excel to Misato Katsuragi (Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion), Mireille Bouquet (Anime/Noir), Juri Arisugawa (Anime/RevolutionaryGirlUtena) and Ebichu (Anime/OruchubanEbichu). Not to mention... THE LEGENDARY TAE YAMADA!
* Creator/TomokazuSeki has voiced characters ranging from TheStoic Sousuke Sagara in Literature/FullMetalPanic, to one of ThoseTwoGuys Jun Kitagawa in VisualNovel/Kanon, to ManipulativeBastard BigBad Reiji Kageyama in VideoGame/GateKeepers, to HotBlooded mecha pilot Domon Kasshu in Anime/MobileFighterGGundam, to WeaselMascot Mepple in Anime/FutariWaPrettyCure, to LargeHam Gilgamesh in VisualNovel/FateStayNight.
* You'd think Creator/SanaeKobayashi is pigeonholed as either Tsunderes (Akira from Anime/MyHime) or boys (the other Akira, from Manga/HikaruNoGo)... Go and say the same when you hear her as NaiveEverygirl Kumi Mashiba from Manga/HajimeNoIppo, the Yandere Lucy/Cutie Nyu in Manga/ElfenLied, or the titular ActionGirl from Anime/Madlax.
* Creator/ChiwaSaito has, as just an example, voiced a Genki ActionGirl, a perpetually angry member of the QuirkyMiniBossSquad, and a villainous SmugSnake - all in the same show, Anime/MagicalGirlLyricalNanohaStrikers!
* Creator/KappeiYamaguchi is most often cast in the role of Shonen heroes, such as Ranma Saotome (Manga/RanmaOneHalf), Anime/Inuyasha, Sai Saici (Anime/MobileFighterGGundam), and Teddie (VideoGame/Persona4), but his range is deceptively wide. One need look no further than his role as L in Manga/DeathNote for proof of this.
* Creator/MakikoOhmoto has a wide array of voices, from TheOjou and motherly figures to Shonen heroes, all the way to Franchise/Kirby.
* Creator/DaisukeNamikawa is one of the voice actors pegged down in roles that could very much grate your skull, playing the irritating Katz Kobayashi (Anime/MobileSuitZetaGundam), the rough and wild Michael Trinity (Anime/MobileSuitGundam00), and the super loud-mouthed Miyamoto Musashi (VideoGame/SengokuBasara). However, he also had his share of straight, goody-two-shoes heroes, such as the main character of VideoGame/Persona4, Cornelius (VideoGame/OdinSphere) or the remake voice of Claude Kenni (VideoGame/StarOcean1). Then you've got the melancholic, manipulative BetaBaddie Ulquiorra Sciffer (Manga/Bleach) or the ultra-manipulative BigBad Toutaku from Manga/IkkiTousen amongst his portfolio. Then you'll never look at him the same again.
* Creator/ToshiyukiMorikawa does TheHero roles (Ryu from Franchise/StreetFighter and Takaya, aka D-Boy, from Anime/TekkamanBlade), TheStoic roles (Kyosuke from VideoGame/SuperRobotWars), Evil Bastard roles (Sephiroth from VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII)... very affable father that sounds so light (Forbessi from VisualNovel/Shuffle), and loud-mouthed idiots (Nobunaga Kiyota from Manga/SlamDunk).
* Creator/MiyukiSawashiro is what some people call versatile; she can voice spunky boys with a cheery attitude, like Milanor from VideoGame/YggdraUnion or Carl Clover from VideoGame/BlazBlue, a demanding Ojou such as Perrine or Shinku, or cute bubbly Nekomimi girls like Nike (VideoGame/ManaKhemiaAlchemistsOfAlRevis) or Mint (Anime/GalaxyAngel). Younger characters are not her only forte either: Stripperiffic, troubled Velvet (VideoGame/OdinSphere) and WomanScorned Hotarubi (Manga/Basilisk) would like a word with you.
* Creator/TakehitoKoyasu has probably literally voiced a thousand roles... from a fallen prince who fights for world peace (Anime/MobileSuitGundamWing), to a displaced samurai piloting an apocalyptic machine with a lust for fighting (Anime/TurnAGundam)...even a comic relief Ascended Fanboy who wants to shoot fire (VideoGame/TheKingOfFighters)!
* Try pigeonholing Creator/NobutoshiCanna. This man has voiced badasses in many flavors, from laid back badasses (Midou Ban from Manga/GetBackers and Lancer from VisualNovel/FateStayNight), scary badasses (Guts from Manga/Berserk, Serious!Axel Almer from VideoGame/SuperRobotWars, Cao Pi from VideoGame/DynastyWarriors) or goof off badasses (Silly!Axel from VideoGame/SuperRobotWars and Tasuki from Anime/FushigiYuugi). If that's not enough, he also has three BruceLeeClone roles on his resume (Maxi from VideoGame/SoulSeries, Lee Pai Long from Manga/ShamanKing, Jann Lee from VideoGame/DeadOrAlive), or someone who sounds like a clown (Nnoitra Gilga, (Manga/Bleach), and the voice who yells "LISTEN TO MY SOOOOONGGGG!!!" (Anime/Macross7).
* Creator/KaoriShimizu manages to completely avoid being pigeonholed. Even though most fans know her as the mature, deep voice of smart women such as Akira (Anime/SchoolRumble), Signum (Franchise/LyricalNanoha) and Lamia (VideoGame/SuperRobotWars), she is also capable of cutesy voices starting with the melancholic Lain (Anime/SerialExperimentsLain), hysterical Lou (Anime/Godannar), and weird YuriFan Hiyori (Manga/LuckyStar).
* Creator/RyotaroOkiayu is certainly one hell of a man hard to peg down on his roles. One second he plays the role of a bumbling man often used for comedy relief, the next he plays a villainous role, after which he plays a cool-headed guy and then TheStoic type...
* Creator/RieKugimiya was well-known during the 2000s for voicing Tsundere characters, thanks to her role as Shana from Literature/ShakuganNoShana. But she also shows a surprising range, such as Alphonse Elric (Manga/FullmetalAlchemist) and both DeadpanSnarker Kurosaki Karin and EmotionlessGirl Nemu from Manga/Bleach.
* Creator/SayakaOhara definitely; despite mostly playing mothers, she voiced LargeHam Beatrice in VisualNovel/UminekoWhenTheyCry, HotWitch Yuuko in Manga/XxxHolic, and MagicKnight Erza in Manga/FairyTail. Especially noteworthy in VisualNovel/UminekoWhenTheyCry where she voices not only Beatrice but also: while making them all sound unique.
* Creator/JunFukuyama has voiced TheChessmaster Lelouch (Anime/CodeGeass), Extreme Masochist Sado Taro (Literature/MM), BrilliantButLazy Ryner (Literature/TheLegendOfTheLegendaryHeroes) and LargeHam Leopard (Anime/TheGirlWhoLeaptThroughSpace). Manga/NuraRiseOfTheYokaiClan deserves special mention in showing off his range, since he voices both of Rikuo's forms. In it, he shows off both the young boy style that he started out with, and the more mature voice that became more prominent after landing his role in Anime/CodeGeass.
* Creator/AyakoKawasumi, from the stoic Saber (VisualNovel/FateStayNight), to the gentle Princess Henrietta (Literature/TheFamiliarOfZero), then the AlphaBitch Saki Tenjouin (Manga/ToLoveRu).
* Creator/HoukoKuwashima is very prolific and has an amazing range, making it hard to find two of her roles that sound the same. Who would have thought that Yurika (Anime/MartianSuccessorNadesico), Kagura (Manga/AzumangaDaioh), Sango (Manga/InuYasha), and Fllay (Anime/MobileSuitGundamSEED) are all voiced by the same person?
* Creator/KatsuyukiKonishi has proven that he can do quite a variety of characters. From cold and calculated robot-ninjas (Anime/GaoGaiGar) to the Leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime (Anime/TransformersEnergon), and all the way to the most Badass badass to ever exist in anime (Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann). Coincidentally, all three examples have some kind of leader-role...
** He's also the Child-rearing Badass of Manga/Beelzebub and THE HERO!!! (America of Webcomic/HetaliaAxisPowers)
* Creator/TetsuyaKakihara has also proven he can do a good number of voices. His most famous roles are probably Simon the Digger (Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann) and Natsu Dragneel (Manga/FairyTail), though he's also done a lot of other voices. In particular, check out how he did Jin Kisaragi and Hakumen (both from VideoGame/BlazBlue).
* Creator/NobuyukiHiyama should get some credit too. Sure, his voices doesn't differ much between two characters in the same situation, but he sure can go from completely calm to yelling in the most awesome way you'll ever hear within seconds, and drastically change his voice in the process.
* Creator/YukiKaida has voiced Bishonen CuteBruiser China, PluckyGirl FriendToAllLivingThings Taiwan, and the Narrator from Webcomic/HetaliaAxisPowers. Then there's DudeLooksLikeALady ExtremeOmnivore Shusuke and his CoolBigSis Yumiko from Manga/ThePrinceOfTennis. And HotBlooded BadassAdorable Abe Masahiro from Literature/ShonenOnmyouji. While usually typecast as a young bishounen (usually with some form of hidden baddassery), she has had quite a variety of roles.
* Pika Aizawa, who is reportedly a student training to become a professional voice actress, has played a total of 26 characters so far in her fandub of the Franchise/TouhouProject fanime WebAnimation/FantasyKaleidoscope. (Its episodes are initially released without voice acting, only music, sound effects and Japanese subtitles.)
* In a non-voice actor example, singer Music/JunTogawa can go from sounding like a child to a very deep voice to sweet teenager to operatic singing, often within the same song.
* Creator/NanaMizuki, who, on top of being able to put her voice into song, has pulled off roles such as Nagisa from Phantasy Star Universe entry Portable 2 Infinity, Tsubomi Hanasaki from Heartcatch Pretty Cure, and Neige Hausen from Super Robot Wars Original Generation: Endless Frontier EXCEED.
* Creator/YuuichiNakamura is a brilliant example of an actor with huge vocal diversity: he can go from a sadistic Troll (Yuki Terumi from VideoGame/BlazBlue) to a stoic BruceLeeClone (Fei Long from VideoGame/StreetFighterII) to a lovable "loser" (Kyousuki Kousaka from Literature/Oreimo), and you can't tell that's it's the same actor doing all these voices.
* Creator/YoshitsuguMatsuoka has an impressive repertoire, being able to go from expository hero Kirito (Literature/SwordArtOnline) to dorky harem leads Tomoya Aki (Literature/HowToRaiseABoringGirlfriend) and Bell Cranel (Literature/IsItWrongToTryToPickUpGirlsInADungeon) to perverted Aito (Manga/TheComicArtistAndHisAssistants) and arrogant Soma (Manga/FoodWars). And let's not forget about the AxCrazy villain Betelguese who is the most unlikely of them all. Not to mention the HotBlooded, LargeHam Inosuke Hashibira.
* Creator/DaisukeOno has a rather eclectic list of roles under his belt, having played, amongst others, ChivalrousPervert Battler Ushiromiya, GentlemanSnarker Sebastian Michaelis, TragicVillain Nameless, and TheStoic Jotaro Kujo.

* Jorge "El Tata" Arvizu can be easily considered as Creator/MelBlanc's Latin American Spanish counterpart, having dubbed, among others, Fred Flintstone (WesternAnimation/TheFlintstones); WesternAnimation/BugsBunny, WesternAnimation/WoodyWoodpecker, Maxwell Smart from Series/GetSmart, (including the 2007 film), and Choo-Choo Benny the Ball (WesternAnimation/TopCat).
* Creator/JoseAntonioMacias is one of the best examples of this. This man has dubbed everything and you will hear him in almost any dubbing made in Mexico from the late 90's to the present. He is the recurring voice of Creator/ChrisEvans, Creator/RyanReynolds, Creator/MattDamon, Creator/OrlandoBloom and Creator/LeonardoDiCaprio, he has voiced cartoon characters (Edd from WesternAnimation/EdEddNEddy, Wilt from WesternAnimation/FostersHomeForImaginaryFriends, Radical "Rad" from WesternAnimation/OKKOLetsBeHeroes, Dr. Flug from Villainous), anime characters (James from Anime/PokemonTheSeries, Mousse from Manga/RanmaOneHalf, Iruka Umino from Anime/Naruto), animated movie characters (Emmet from WesternAnimation/TheLegoMovie, Private and Mort from Franchise/Madagascar, Milo James Thatch from WesternAnimation/AtlantisTheLostEmpire), and although he normally does comedic roles he has also played more serious characters (The Joker from Film/TheDarkKnight, Legolas Greenleaf from Film/TheLordOfTheRings). We are not kidding when we say that this man has done everything.
* Creator/GerardoReyero was known for using his bass-baritone voice in ultra serious, by-the-book roles (Cyclops from X-Men, Mamoru "Darien" Chiba from Anime/SailorMoon, Jun Uozumi from Manga/SlamDunk). That is, until he did fantastic work as the loud, cheerful and energetic LargeHam Gai-sensei in Manga/Naruto, and then the BunnyEarsLawyer Ukitake from Manga/Bleach...
** He's also Han Solo (Franchise/StarWars), Frieza (Franchise/DragonBall), Captain Hero (WesternAnimation/DrawnTogether), and Gantu (WesternAnimation/LiloAndStitch).
* You might be able to recognize Creator/PatriciaAcevedo's sweet soprano voice very easily, but even then, you can't forget she's done young boys (WesternAnimation/Kissyfur, Yaiba Kurogane from Yaiba, Chaozu from Manga/DragonBall), Magical Girls (Usagi/Serena from Anime/SailorMoon, Sally from Manga/SallyTheWitch), sweet yet strong girls (Alexis/Asuka from Anime/YuGiOhGX, Lisa Simpson from WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons, Lizzie Devine of WesternAnimation/CodenameKidsNextDoor), cynical young ladies (Rosa from Manga/Cyborg 009), mother roles (Chichi from Anime/DragonBallZ), spoiled little kids (Angelica Pickles from WesternAnimation/Rugrats), Yanderes (Ryoumou from Manga/IkkiTousen), or even badass Action Girls (Princess Adora aka WesternAnimation/SheRaPrincessOfPower).
* Creator/ArturoMercado has voiced Shaggy (WesternAnimation/ScoobyDoo), Yoda and Lando (Franchise/StarWars), Fred Flintstone (WesternAnimation/TheFlintstones), the Beast (WesternAnimation/BeautyAndTheBeast), Hamm (Franchise/ToyStory), Petrie (WesternAnimation/TheLandBeforeTime), WesternAnimation/DarkwingDuck, Simba of WesternAnimation/TheLionKing1994, WesternAnimation/BobTheBuilder, Babidi (Anime/DragonBallZ) and a lot more.
* Creator/JavierRivero must be one that easily comes to mind. Who would've thought that Gemini Saga (Manga/SaintSeiya) of all characters shares voice with Mung Daal (WesternAnimation/Chowder), Jar Jar Binks (Franchise/StarWars), and (most jarring of all) Cow (WesternAnimation/CowAndChicken)?
* Where to start with Creator/AlfonsoObregonInclan? His roles include Reiner Braun from Manga/AttackOnTitan, Kakashi Hatake from Manga/Naruto, Franchise/Shrek, Dr. Evil from Film/AustinPowers, Eduardo Rivera from WesternAnimation/ExtremeGhostbusters, Wildwing in WesternAnimation/MightyDucksTheAnimatedSeries, just to name a few.
* In a more specific case, Creator/LuisPerezPons (known for being the voice of Mr. Krabs in WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants) doubles most of the secondary characters in Creator/TheHistoryChannel shows. This is mainly due to the fact that History sends all its programs to a specific Venezuelan studio, VC Medios, to be dubbed, and Luis is one of the few voice actors who work in that studio, so they hire him to do the voice of 40% or 50% of the characters. This situation has generated the memetic quote "Su puta voz aparece en todos los programas de History Channel""His fucking voice is on every shows on The History Channel", and the fact that he uses the same tone of voice as Mr. Krabs for most of his characters has only generated more memes.

* Creator/MarcioSimoes does comic characters such as the Genie (WesternAnimation/Aladdin), Hades (Westernanimation/Hercules), and WesternAnimation/DaffyDuck; badasses such as Creator/SamuelLJackson and Jack Bauer (Series/TwentyFour); leaders like Horatio Caine (Series/CSIMiami), and Jean-Luc Picard (Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration); and even villains such as Lex Luthor (Film/SupermanReturns) and David Xanatos (WesternAnimation/Gargoyles). There's also the high-pitched voice he did for both Donatello from WesternAnimation/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles1987 and Stitch from Westernanimation/LiloAndStitch. He's also played serious and comedic versions of the same character, such as voicing The Joker in both Film/TheDarkKnight and WesternAnimation/TheLegoBatmanMovie.
* Creator/GuilhermeBriggs is usually a LargeHam - his favorite roles to play were WesternAnimation/Freakazoid and Daggett (WesternAnimation/TheAngryBeavers) - but he also does serious roles such as Mewtwo (Anime/PokemonTheFirstMovie), Franchise/Superman, Optimus Prime (Franchise/Transformers), Hawk Moth (WesternAnimation/MiraculousLadybug) and Dr. Manhattan (Film/Watchmen). Oh, and he’s current the voice of WesternAnimation/MickeyMouse in Brazil.
** For more hamminess, there's HIM (WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls1998), with which he gleefully chews the scenery when he gets the chance, and Crow T. Robot from Recap/MysteryScienceTheater3000TheMovie, where he even sings.
* Creator/AlexandreMoreno is also usually over-the-top (WesternAnimation/BugsBunny, Pinky from WesternAnimation/PinkyAndTheBrain, WesternAnimation/PussInBoots, Chris Tucker, Max from WesternAnimation/TotalDrama) or comedic (Creator/AdamSandler and Creator/BenStiller), but he also does the odd serious role (the first Red Ranger from Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers, Michael Corleone of Film/TheGodfather, Jude Law).
* Marco Antônio Costa is the voice actor for Creator/GeorgeClooney, Creator/BradPitt, Creator/JohnnyDepp and also... Plucky Duck (WesternAnimation/TinyToonAdventures), Hugh Neutron (WesternAnimation/TheAdventuresOfJimmyNeutronBoyGenius), Rex (Franchise/ToyStory), Stimpy (WesternAnimation/TheRenAndStimpyShow) and WesternAnimation/WoodyWoodpecker?
* Creator/OrlandoDrummond voices some comedic characters, such as Series/Alf, WesternAnimation/ScoobyDoo (his signature role), WesternAnimation/DynomuttDogWonder and WesternAnimation/HongKongPhooey; cool old guys like Creator/GeorgeBurns and SantaClaus, and badasses including WesternAnimation/Popeye, The Thing (WesternAnimation/FredAndBarneyMeetTheThing) and Venger (WesternAnimation/DungeonsAndDragons1983). He also dubbed comedic and badass variations of the same character: Cringer/Battle Cat in WesternAnimation/HeManAndTheMastersOfTheUniverse1983.
* Carmen Sheila dubbed one of WesternAnimation/DonaldDuck's nephews, Tweety (WesternAnimation/SylvesterTheCatAndTweetyBird), annoying/bratty girls (Dee Dee from WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory and Elmyra from WesternAnimation/TinyToons), action girls (Cheetara from WesternAnimation/ThunderCats1985 and Steelheart from WesternAnimation/SilverHawks), beautiful live-action actresses like Music/Cher and Creator/JessicaLange, and cool old ladies, like Creator/KathyBates and Madame Foster (WesternAnimation/FostersHomeForImaginaryFriends).
* The late Silvio Navas was versatile within a single show: in the 80's animation WesternAnimation/TheSmurfs, he dubbed Papa Smurf, Farmer Smurf, and Vanity Smurf, with a completely different voice for each one (and sometimes leading to ActingForTwo). In WesternAnimation/ThunderCats1985, he showed his versatility in a single character: Mumm-Ra, as he dubbed both main versions of him (pre and post transformation) as well as most of his male disguises (Pumm-Ra, Myth/KingArthur, Third Earth random inhabitants).
* Rodrigo Oliveira downright has "milvozes" ("thousandvoices") as his Instagram handle. After all, he became a rising star for voicing characters ranging from Owen (WesternAnimation/TotalDrama) and Black Panther (Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse) to Zazu (WesternAnimation/TheLionGuard) and Malphite (VideoGame/LeagueOfLegends).
* Creator/WendelBezerra's two best known roles are Goku (starting with Anime/DragonBallZ) and Westernanimation/SpongeBobSquarePants, which should be a great indicative. Once he was asked about "how would you do a woman's voice", he answered that he had voiced cross-dressers, using either a low, almost whispered tone, or a yelled and exaggerated one. He can also use a low-pitched voice for a male character, like Bruce Wayne/Batman in Film/TheBatman2022, keeping the tradition of having Batman's voice being deeper than Bruce's.
* In Portugal, the most notable example is Carlos Freixo, with his range varying from comic characters like WesternAnimation/Goofy, WesternAnimation/DaffyDuck, Sylvester (WesternAnimation/SylvesterTheCatAndTweetyBird) and WesternAnimation/ElmerFudd, to hero characters like Simba from WesternAnimation/TheLionKing1994 and Cyborg (WesternAnimation/TeenTitans2003).

* Creator/AnttiPaakkonen is probably the most easily-known voice actor working in Finland today. He started in 1990 and has since starred in more than 80 films and dozens of series. It's impossible to list all of his roles, but some of the most well known are WesternAnimation/MickeyMouse (has been the official voice since 1995), WesternAnimation/BugsBunny (from the late '90s), and Woody in Franchise/ToyStory.

* Creator/RogerCarel is the consensus greatest French voice actor of all time. 145
* Swedish voice actor and comedian Dan Ekborg is a strange case, in that he is both this trope and a PigeonholedVoiceActor. He is Pigeonholed in the sense that he is always cast as humorous characters, good or evil. Instead he uses his wide vocal range solely for the RuleOfFunny, most famously in his role as the Genie from WesternAnimation/Aladdin.
* Creator/AndersOjebo has the range to voice high-pitched characters (WesternAnimation/MickeyMouse), comic relief (Iago, Banzai (and later Timon)), heroes (WesternAnimation/DarkwingDuck, Tony Stark), villains (Negaduck, The Devil), children (Billy, Howie Hyena), and even female characters (Miss Piggy).
* Johan Hedenberg is an actor with a stunning range often to the point that he can be hard to recognize. He has done voices ranging in everything from the high pitched squealing of Kent Mansley, the deep reverb of Doctor Robotnik, the even deeper Malefor, the easygoing and boisterous T-Bone, and even the friendly old grandpa like figure in Uncle Pom. He is very prolific and chances are high one has heard him without even realizing it.
* Daniel Sjöberg has a long range. He can sound very rough and deep like Geralt of Rivia or the Hulk, awkwardly and afraid like Quincy Goatee, wacky like the Pirate Captain or something normal sounding like Sebastian J. Cricket.
* Mikael Roupé stands as perhaps one of the most prolific voice actors in Swedish dubbing and this is helped in large part thanks to his incredible range. While he has a "default" tone that is easy to recognize such as within the WesternAnimation/WhatACartoonShow or with his singing voice, he has also done characters ranging from Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, The Russian, Dean McCoppin, Lex Luthor, Father and Double D to name but a few.

He has voiced Muscle Man and Skips from WesternAnimation/RegularShow, Cyborg (the first season of WesternAnimation/TeenTitansGo), Mr. Vickle (WesternAnimation/KickButtowskiSuburbanDaredevil) and others.
* Nikita Prozorovsky does almost all the adult male voices in WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic (except for a few higher-pitched and younger characters). In fact, Prozorovsky was the only male voice actor in the Russian dub of the first season. Besides the ponies, Prozorovsky can go from voicing teenagers such as Shaggy (WesternAnimation/ScoobyDoo) to adults such as Commissioner Gordon (Film/TheDarkKnightTrilogy).
* Dmitry Filimonov has a decent range: he can voice soft-spoken characters such as Cody (WesternAnimation/TotalDrama) or Gingy (Franchise/Shrek), eccentric mentors like Uncle Chan (WesternAnimation/JackieChanAdventures), Uncle Iroh (WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender) or Sensei Wu (WesternAnimation/Ninjago), and even the threatening villains like Dr. Blowhole (WesternAnimation/ThePenguinsOfMadagascar) or Professor Pericles (WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooMysteryIncorporated)!

* Literature/TheCatWhoSeries: Jim Qwilleran is an in-universe example. In book #15 (The Cat Who Went Into the Closet), he creates a play with a dramatic radio re-enactment based on a historical fire which tore through the area. Although radio didn't exist at the time, attendees are asked to imagine that it did. Using historical newspaper accounts, he creates a script, voices the radio announcer, and splices in interviews by doing of recordings of himself in various voices, including an old farmer, an Irish brogue, and much more.
* In-universe example in the Series/MurderSheWrote episode "Something Foul in Flappieville", set around a puppet show. The voice artist Nattie Holt, played by Maryedith Burrell, is known as the woman of a thousand and seventeen voices.
