3	Woodwalkers is a german UrbanFantasy series written by Creator/KatjaBrandis with illustrations by Creator/ClaudiaCarls.

5	It follows the adventures of the woodwalker Carag, a human who has the ability to turn into a puma. For the first years of his life, he was raised by his parents as puma, but after a visit in the human world he decides to leave his family behind to live as a human.

7	Four years later he struggles at his school. Although he was adopted by a supporting human family he hasn't got many friends and is bullied by his classmates- until he learns that more woodwalkers like him who are also able to turn into animals like squirrels or eagles and that there are even special boarding schools for them.

28	* ArtisticLicenceBiology: During their time as pumas, Carag and his sister Mia are raised by their parents Xamber and Nimca but this isn't something that happens in real life: In the wild, adult pumas rarely form groups. Also, only female pumas are responsible to raise cubs. Pumas also leave their parents two years after their birth.
29	** The last one is kind of justified considering that Woodwalkers mature like humans but considering that Xamber hates humans for most of the series it's not really clear why he wanted to mimic a human family for so long.
