3	The novel adaptation of ''[[VideoGame/KingdomHeartsI Kingdom Hearts]]''. In Japanese, there are two volumes, both released in mid-2005, called '''First''' and '''Last'''. The English version, released in March 2015, was translated by Creator/YenPress and is called ''Kingdom Hearts: The Novel''; it is a single volume.

7	* AdaptedOut: Despite [[ScrewedByTheLawyers copyright complications]], the novel keeps Deep Jungle but omits Olympus Coliseum, Halloween Town, and Atlantica. Additionally, the Pooh storybook with the Hundred Acre Wood is delivered to Merlin, but Sora never actually gets to visit inside it. Olympus Coliseum is later adapted into the ''Kingdom Hearts II'' novel and treated as if it's the first time Sora and his friends visit it, while the ''Chain of Memories'' novel just pulls a RememberTheNewGuy with the Hundred Acre Wood despite how it could have easily been omitted.
