4	''Bloody Cutlass'' is a series of stories created by Creator/JordannWilliamEdwards and Elizabeth Mogan as part of the ''Franchise/{{Tails from the Federation}}''. A SpinOff of ''Literature/SpacePirateCaptainMacTaggart'', it focuses on {{space pirate\|s}} captain Darkblade on board the titular ship.

6	Unlike its parent series (and its prequel), this series is DarkerAndEdgier, HotterAndSexier, and BloodierAndGorier, while maintaining the humor (since Edwards is guiding the direction, there's more pop culture and political/anti-establishment undertones, as is prominent in his own ''Webcomic/{{The Dynamite Twins and Friends}}''). This is also a slight {{Deconstruction}} of a typical pirate tale.
