* Kenny wishing to reverse everything that happened, [[HeroicSacrifice giving up his chance at being brought back to life]].
-->"Goodbye, you guys."
** Later on, we're given a sweet scene of him shooting up into Heaven, while everyone at South Park, including his parents, all happily wave goodbye to him.
** Kenny's selfless act gets him a place in Heaven.
* Stan and Wendy making up at the end, punctuated by Wendy finally giving Stan his first kiss.
* Sheila apologizing to Kyle at the end and lovingly holding him.
** Plus, when Kyle reminds her that it was Cartman's "fucking filthy mouth" that saved them, she ''didn't'' go nuts as she would have. Also speaks to Kyle's character that, even though he hates Cartman, he gives credit where it's due.
** While it didn't happen overnight, future episodes reveal that Sheila did in fact mellow out and now acts about as sane as the other moms.
* Sharon and the other mothers [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere quitting the M.A.C.]] to help their kids. Doubles as a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome.
* Kenny's conversation with Satan. Given the Devil greeted Kenny by chaining him to a rack, it really shows how compassionate the boy is.
* La Resistance [[GoThroughMe gathering around Terrance and Phillip to stop the military and Kyle's mom from executing them.]] Also counts as a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome for Kyle for standing up to his mom. Unfortunately, she doesn't listen.
** Terrance and Phillip appear to be quite taken aback by the gesture themselves.
--> '''Kyle''': I don't want a fighter, I want my mom.
* Sheila patting Terrance and Phillip on the shoulder during the reprise of "Mountain Town" at the end.
--> '''The Mothers''': (''singing'') Cause Terrance are Philip are sweet.
--> '''Sheila''': (''hugs the duo'') Super Sweet!
* When Kyle hides Ike in his attic, he makes a promise to Ike to stop all the madness, get their mom to come home, and become a happy family again. A far cry from the boy who at the start of the film got his jollies kicking his brother like a football and disowning him just for being adopted.
* Kyle's ArmorPiercingQuestion to his mother, reminding her that her own adopted son is Canadian. This and the above moment each show that Kyle [[AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther does care about Ike despite how he treated him at the beginning of the movie]].
* A blink and you'll miss it one, during the ''La Resistance'' musical number, Kenny's dad has a picture of him on his helmet.
* "Through the Eyes of a Child", the last end credits song. It pulls off the seemingly impossible feat of being a tongue-in-cheek AwardBaitSong parody that retains the wit of ''South Park'' while still having a poignant melody and lyrics (about the innocence of children, or lack thereof).
* In the middle of the American/Canadian battlefield when things look incredibly grim, Cartman takes the time to apologize to Kyle for ripping on him for being Jewish. It's ruined due to Cartman ComicallyMissingThePoint, telling Kyle that he's actually not a Jew, but let's face it: with Eric Cartman, that's the closest thing to a heartwarming moment Kyle's ever going to get.
* Satan's musical number "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jo4XXm8OUP4 Up There]]". He's eagerly awaiting the day when the gates of Hell will burst open and allow him dominion over Earth, but in his ImagineSpot he doesn't cause any misery of chaos. Instead he enjoys the beauty of the mortal world, doing things such as hugging babies, climbing mountains, sailing a cruise ship with a bunch of ManlyGay men and hang gliding.
* Gregory might be a pretentious twat who steamrolls the boys at their own meeting, but he cares for free speech and the rights of others enough to put his life on the line for a pair of comedians he personally finds vulgar.
